We had a wildly unsatisfying experience. Took an entire bridal party plus some others and we paid a large amount of money apiece just to have our manicures and pedicures crackle and chip within days. The receptionist also got sassy about mask policy in the email they sent, however I had never received an email as the organizer of the event but she didnt seem to care about that. However, the drinks were tasty and the nail techs were wonderful conversationalists, just wish our nails had lasted longer!

I used to love going to soak for its luxuries feel and amazing cocktails. However I have had three bad experiences in a row.The first, I got a completely untrained person who did an absolute terrible job on me. Paid the exact same price for the job. The next two times the women there were completely ignoring my friend and I. Which is not a big deal, but then proceeded to be loud and obnoxious with each other being super unprofessional. Definitely not the luxurious feel it used to have. Not quite sure what has changed.

Maria is amazing!!! No one does my nails like Maria. She takes her time and makes them perfect. Great attention to detail.

Ive got bubbles and obvious spots where she either could have painted my nail or failed to cover with top coat. I went out of town for the weekend and the polish on my thumb nails came off in a solid sheet!!! Ive NEVER had that happen before! Such a waste of money!

Two weeks ago I received what I thought was the worst manicure of my life. On top of that the girl doing my nails knew the friend I came with as she was the property manager where she lived. My nail tech did nothing but speak poorly of my friend and her place of work the entire time. Incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional.I believe in dealing with an establishment before writing a review so I called and spoke with management. She was kind on the phone and asked that I come in and let her fix my manicure. I agreed, appreciative of the offer. The first manicure I received was fantastic by comparison. They used an obviously dried top coat as my nails had thick bubbling once dried and chipped within ONE day. My nails look like damn avocados. I’ve never been more upset with a spa service and recommend not wasting the ridiculous amount they charge or dealing with unprofessional staff.

My nail tech didnt seem welcoming. Everyone else was talking to their clients and upbeat. When I would try to engage her, her answer was Oh, youre talking to me?. My nails werent shaped how I wanted and the polish is peeling.

I love the atmosphere at Soak and and the nail technicians are always wonderful.Nika is wonderful; she does a great job on my callouses and cuticles. I love the atmosphere! AND I had the BEST sour margarita this week!!!!!

Mandy was very nice and attentive. When I told her my last polish didn’t last she recommended shellac and took extra time to apply it even though she was booked up. It turned out great!

I was charged extra to have a foil put on one toe on each foot, when I was originally told that one toe would not have an additional charge. The stylist also didn’t do anything for my cuticles and couldn’t put the foil on and finally had a coworker do it for her. She was nice and did apologized for the difficulty. But you could tell she was very new.

We had a blast at SOAK! We were welcomed warmly and helped right away. The Pink Drink is delicious. Love the individual attention and meticulous work. We will definitely be back to enjoy again soon!

This place is way to over priced for the service you get..... I got the seasonal pedicure which is advertised for $70. Towards the end the pedicurest told me that if she takes to much dead skin off my feet its not healthy for them. Like are you serious. I come get a pedicure for the sole purpose of getting the dead skin off. At the end when I went to pay the gentlemen says ok itll be $80.83. So I ask why wasnt it $70 as advertised and he ignored me. I will never come back here!!!!

SHORT NAILS, DONT CARE! I have the worst habit of biting my nails but I still want them to look good. Ive been told by some salons they cant do any design on my nails because they are just too short. Until I found soak! Been going here for over a year now. I always get someone new, but I love seeing new techniques and having new conversations. Today, I got Rachelle and she was amazing. I told her she had total control and I just wanted something cute. She hooked it up with the cutest rose gold manicure - with glitter and gems! I love and I will definitely be requesting her the next time I go in!

I called to make an appointment for the first time in months due to the corona virus. The reviews were great. The receptionist wasn’t. I’m super polite so when she answered with no name to address herself by and then a not so inviting attitude was a complete disappointment and made me pretty distant and shy of going there. Please tell me these girls aren’t as rude as the receptionist?

My nails did not dry properly...they bubbled up and remained tacky for hours after the mani/pedi. I received the mani/pedi at 11 am and didn’t go to bed until around midnight on Friday, yet woke up with indentations of the sheets on some of the nails. This was definitely not high quality product. The nail technician was very nice and there was nothing wrong with the service other than the quality of the product used. I do not recommend anyone wasting money on a mani or pedi at SOAK.

Not impressed with the Salon at all. The first appointment we made was cancelled we had booked appointment with other family members and they moved to a different time than original booking. They use stainless steal kitchen bowls for feet to be soaked in so by the time they are done the water is cold. My skin around toad had nail polish on them. Polish colt choices were dark and gothic. Massage lasted 30 seconds. Nail salons in Walmart do a better job for way cheaper price and have massage chairs and foot baths that stay heated. Way over priced

My sister had a horrible nail experience with a different nail tech (different store) and this lady not only gave her exactly what she was looking for but also gave the style a twist that is 100% my sister (the puppy paws were an amazing touch). My nail tech as well (unfortunately I cant remember her name) was incredibly nice and a great conversationalist too. A great place, clean, and wonderful environment that was perfect for the little spa day my sister and I wanted.

Candy is amazing! Ive had my nails done for years, never have I found someone who is able to shape my nails so perfectly. Shes also incredibly clever. I wanted a color that couldnt be found, she improvised by sprinkling glitter on my polish. It looked better than what I originally wanted. Shes organized, on time and very nice to talk to.

Soak is always fabulous. Bailey was amazing! I had a relaxing and wonderful visit with wonderful service! And the woman at the front desk was charming and quick to help everyone!

I have pampered myself with regular manicures and pedicures for over 20 years. I discovered Caley and the team at Soak over a year ago, and love them.Their goal is to make me feel special each time I visit them, and they do. I have shellac manicures every 2 weeks and a pedicure every 4 weeks. Their seasonal themed products, retail merchandise and adult beverage options are beyond. Soak is always clean and dedicated to health and safety, consistently. They’re a team of pros, and I highly recommend them.

This place was a fun and unique pedicure. I loved the environment. I dont drink alcohol so I cant review their cocktails, but they were really kind and brought me ice water with lemon while I waited. I had an appointment and was seated immediately, but was kept waiting nearly 30 minutes before my pedicure began. Parking was tricky as well, so its best to be early. I also feel that some members of the staff took advantage of the fun atmosphere and were a bit unprofessional. As in, they were hanging out with friends more than working. However, most of the staff were excellent. Overall, I would come here again.

Love this place! Friendly staff, clean surroundings. Lots of choices in nail polish colors and great smelling products used during the pedicure. Oh, and did I mention, they serve delicious cocktails? Only place in Reno for getting a pedicure in my opinion.

My girlfriend had a wonderful time, she said the staff were amazing, outgoing, and all around super welcoming. Originally her appt. Was scheduled for 2 hours yet she would up hanging out for FOUR hours!!! She said everyone was so fun and entertaining, she enjoyed the entire evening, thank you guys so much, I owe you for sure! Adorable location downtown- easy walk from my hotel. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I was offered a drink as soon as I sat down. My technician was very friendly and did a great job.

Ive always really appreciated the pedi foot bowls (rather than those awful, germy draining foot basins). Autoclave cleaned tools, HUGE deal; big plus. Beverages, including lemon ice water, very good; great touch. Always being pleasantly greeted on arrival, super good as well. LOVE tech, Jackie! Only minus has been what appears to be constant staff turnover.

This place has wonderful staff members however their abilities are not up to my expectations. I would think that any nail salon would be able to fill acrylic however it seems to be impossible at this place. And the front desk lady Georgia is not very helpful and or courteous.

The manicurist did my nails in a hurry standing did not do cuticles and a few days whatever she added to my nails peeled off. The restroom was not clean. Will never return.

Every time I go to SOAK I have a good experience.The staff are very friendly and the service is awesome!I only go there for pedicures, so I dont know how their manicures are but the pedicures are always perfect.Last time I went, I had my toes done in a dark green color. Since its around the holidays, the nail technician drew a hand-painted snowflake on top, free of charge!I also love that they offer complimentary coffee & water with lemon.

I hosted an event for some women clients at Soak. My experience was first class. The cocktails were delicious and the service was awesome! I went in for my fist set of gel extensions with two of my friends. My nail technician was sweet and personable but my nails fell apart almost immediately. They started lifting after a few hours and by the next day I started losing the tips. After spending over $60 on a manicure I was pretty upset. My friends also had bad experiences, one girl didnt get the mud mask wiped off of her hand completely before the polish was applied. I called to schedule a repair but they couldnt get me in for a few days. By the time they got me in 3 of my tips had fallen off and the lifting had trashed my nail bed. Because of the damage I declined a new set and asked for a refund. I was told that the manager would not approve the refund but would call me to make it right. I never got the call. The end result was me paying way too much money to trash my nails. I loved my tech even if the nails were not great, management seems to be the real issue here. It is not so much that I dont get the refund, not even getting a call back after what was dont to my nails is really disappointing.*Edit* After posting this review I was contacted by a manager and my refund was processed. While it was annoying to have to complain on a public platform to get the issue resolved, in the end they did what they could to make it right.

This was a really good experience! I had serious nail damage from lifted acrylics and last minute had to be in Seattle for a high powered business meeting. I explained to the person that took my call, they got me in right away and the technician was freaking fantastic! Thanks for taking care of me, making sure I looked professional and making me feel confident! I only wish I could have enjoyed a Bloody Mary while I was there, but I had to go to work! Ill definitely be back under more relaxed circumstances and I will definitely have that cocktail!Connie

They always do such a good job. I walk in, Im seen and seated right away, they have friendly staff and tasty beverages. I only find myself I Reno 9nce a year or so now but I always make time for SOAK while Im there.

This place was great when it first opened. But now Im not sure Im willing to go back.My mother and I have been going regularly for years. The last 6months to a year have been less then Mediocre. The girls nick and pinch the skin when clipping. The paint never says in more then a week. The turn over is super high (at least I never see the same people working) and for a place that advertises nail art, half the staff cant even do it.Ive write the company a few times with my concerns and unhappiness but no one has ever contacted me.I would give the drinks a 4 but service and customer service is a 2 for sure.

Soak just opened its new location in south Reno and it is AMAZING! Everyone who works there is so friendly and fun to be around. If you havent checked out either of their locations lately you must...and enjoy one of the signature cocktails while youre there.

My first impression of Soak was a wonderful, cheery, welcoming greeting by Sterling. I received great customer service my entire visit, I saw technicians who enjoy their jobs and love to have fun, had a great pedicure, and yummy-one of a kind drinks. Soak came very highly recommended by a friend and I will definitely be a repeat guest!
