I have only good things to say about the Dolan Dodge service center. They got my truck back up & running in a reasonable amount of time given these unique COVID times. Everything was fixed that needed fixing much to my relief. Louis was exceptional in following up with me and explaining the work that was needed and then all that was repaired & replaced. I’ve had excellent previous experiences with Reno/Dolan Dodge, as well. I also figure who would know Dodge trucks better than the Dodge service center?

Sales Department Review. I purchased a 2021 Ram 3500 Dually on 12July2021. My sales person was Matthew Thompson and he was a pleasure to work with. The whole process from trade in offer function on their site for my 2018 Ram 2500, to putting a hold on the 3500 was great. The four stars comes from dealing with the process of registering the truck in Texas. I had to go back and forth regarding taxes for the truck with their finance department. Apparently Nevada calculates tax on a vehicle different then Texas. In the end i was over charged about 1k in tax but I will get it back from Texas eventually. I would recommend Mr. Thompson if you are looking for a vehicle from this dealership and need a great sales person.

Troy (Service) was helpful, honest, and knowledgeable. Most things that I had needed and wanted done to my van were installed/completed well, and I am grateful for the good quality service. However, there were a few things that were not done in the time frame promised. Van was promised to be totally ready by Monday noon. I had to find a place to spend the night as I am from out of town. Furthermore, I was late to work because the van wasn’t ready until Tuesday mid-morning. Also, I was told that I would get notified when I would need to go back to Reno for the last portion of things ordered. Still have not received any communication. Overall, friendly service, just could work on communication and timeliness.

Our trucks limp mods warning came on after we unloaded in Reno and we panicked. We had just gotten our vehicle back from another dealership back home and finally started working again. We called up Dolan Dodge an hour before closing for a holiday weekend. The waited for us and checked our codes. Yep, same codes and more. They were closed Monday for the holiday but told us to try to enjoy the weekend in Reno and bring her in first thing Tuesday and theyd take care of us. We arrived first thing and they worked her over. They gave us the bad news along with the good news. They found the real problem the previous dealership overlooked. They had the parts to fix it and they could get us back on the road by Wednesday. We were thrilled!! Adrian, Tyler and Joshua did a great job taking care of us and turning what could have been a horrible situation into a good one. I absolutely recommend this service center for your heavy duty trucks.

They had my Van for 9 weeks, 3 of those weeks it sat and wasn’t looked at. Then once looked at they had parts to order that was back ordered. Then my van sat for another 5 weeks collecting dust and shop grime. I was never offered a loaner, although I had asked several times. I had called several time throughout this time and would go unanswered and no call backs for several days. I had to hound the service rep to just get updates, which was always “we’re working on it” and “nothing new”. Then the part came and they installed it. I got my van back dirty, they couldn’t even give it a once over that entire 9 weeks!?! I have dirt and grime all on the INSIDE of the van and it smells terrible!! I have to get the car detailed. The time to even get my car diagnosed was ridiculous then to have to wait for so long without a car and never get help with a loaner. Do NOT use this place unless you have too for warranty, otherwise don’t waste your money here.

Very clean facility- we always bring our Promaster van in for the regular oil changes.Not sure why it takes a full hour and a half to change the oil, unless they really go through the vehicle check list, and of course top off all the fluids. They seem to be experiencing the same labor shortage as everyone else, which is why we had to travel to the parking lot across the street to pick up the vehicle when it was ready (I am guessing). We usually get it right outside the service department afterwards, but at any rate, the entire staff is always friendly and helpful.Hopefully when Covid is done they will go back to having a decent waiting room again.Overall, a positive experience at Dolan Dodge Ram Fiat.

I appreciate their efforts but they fell short on the time estimate being over 2 hours more than was stated for a fuel filter change. Also, the Uber service offered was less than desirable as the drivers couldnt find the repair shop or my location upon return. When youre being charged premium prices at $330 for an hour service, I expect better.

This review is long overdue. Back in March 2021 my 07 Dodge 5.9 had the infamous cracked #4 injector line. I was stranded on 395 just before BorderTown. I called several shops and didnt have any luck (like a week out). I was sitting in my Truck truck and one call came back to me and it Renos Dolan Dodge (a call to them at 1st and it would be a week) but Victor in service called back and said he would squeeze it in. Bless you Victor. They were able to put on a new line and as luck had it i really needed a new clutch but i wanted an after market south bend certain model. Victor said this would be no problem and worked up an estimate. The estimate was fair (within a few hundred dollars) as i had one from a well known diesel shop in Redding. Victor had great communication and the truck was completed when he said it would be. I want to mention this as also a plus to Dolan and that was my interior is spotless and there were a few spots on the seats when i picked it up, now i cant be sure if it was Dolan OR AAA who towed it. It didnt matter in the end as Victor had their detail clean those spots while i waited in their waiting area with some cool water. Its been over 6 months and Ive had zero issues with the work they did. THANK YOU VICTOR & DOLAN DODGE Ram in Reno.

It never is, which is probably a problem with how they schedule their service techs, but it appears they have a night crew now that picks up the slack when day shift cant

Im not sure a Google review will adequately express my sincere gratitude for my experience with Troy at Dolan Dodge. Background: My Dodge Durango is ten years old and has 230K miles on her... Ive driven them all except the first 1K miles... shes a faithful beast and repairs have been minor - many of which Ive been able to teach myself how to do. As a Mom of four kiddos - now all teens and pre-teens - shes served us (beyond) incredibly well over the last decade.Recently I had a tricky situation with a starter that needed to be replaced and I was feeling really stressed about the financial impact it was going to have on my paper-thin budget. Troy assured me he was going to do everything he could do to be helpful... and he absolutely went above and beyond to do so. It was so great to work with a man of his word. Before I left Texas, I brought my 2014 RAM 3500 diesel truck in the shop for oil change, fuel filter change and a diagnosis for engine brake screeching and drive shaft clunking. They wanted to tear down the rear end for inspection and replace the turbo. I didn’t have time for that kind of service before I left to come to Reno, so I showed up at Dolan Dodge with service needs and symptoms.I dropped it off on a Sunday night using the drop box, and early Monday morning Troy called to verify receipt of the vehicle and the requested service.Tuesday he called to give me the diagnosis for the turbo. It was actually two exhaust manifold gaskets that blew. Having the exhaust manifold removed provided an opportunity to service the EGR valve at half of the service time normally required.Trying to make a long story short, Troy described in detail the extra steps they took to ensure that my vehicle wouldn’t be back so soon. They didn’t tear down the read end, but instead performed a software update and relearn that affected the solenoid-induced tension on the drive shaft while shifting.In the end, I felt like Troy treated my vehicle as his own, with a genuine concern for me and the cost of the repairs.My truck was ready on Thursday, just four days after dropping it off. I couldn’t be more pleased with their service and commitment to excellence. I highly recommend Dolan Dodge for servicing your vehicles.

These guys will throw fake things on your invoice to pad the sale. For example- if your vehicle is already equipped from the manufacturer with tinted windows, door guards, nitrogen filled tires and the factory gps theyll find a way to upsell those already equipped items to unsuspecting buyers. I had a wonderful salesman but he had no idea what I was watching for on the fine lines and its bit Dolan Dodge Ram in the reputation.

Dropped off my car in the early morning for a routine inspection & oil change. 2 days later, I finally got my car back. I called several times in that time frame and was told by my service Tech that he had to go get on the person working on my car. Seems to me because they were slacking around. They took a way longer time to finish the repairs needed than it should have taken. Very inconvenient with no car for 3 days. And when I was standing in line at Dodge garage to finally pick up my car the guy waiting in front of me to get his car was having trouble because they couldnt find his car. He looked overwhelmed & told me that this wasnt the first time they lost his vehicle. Very scary. But honestly, not the first time repairs took much longer than they should have taken either. Not happy with Dodge garage. Will be choosing a smaller shop who works more efficiently & doesnt lose cars.

Communication after initial call had to be initiated by me. Tony was not exemplary or inept just about an average experiance hence the three stars. This is not for the advisor but for the dealership in general: a week turn around for the items I needed looked at is particularly heinous when I made an appointment. It is no wonder why all my neighbors with Rams recommended independent service facilities.

I will be looking for a better maintenance service facility. I went in 5/2021 with16576 miles on my purchased April 2020 ram 1500. I ask for them to do the 20,000 mile service. They did change oil but used 5-20 not the recommended 5-40. I do not know if it is synthetic as is per specifications. Per the printout they did NOT do the inspections on pg 344 of the owners manual. Too many missed to list. No door mechanism lubricant. I had the tires rotated they did not inspect the brakes. I will now need to do a complete inspection and verify the truck is OK and lubed. I had a 2 pm appointment I was there right at 2pm took me right in. I got back in my truck at 420 pm. Wow. So I must find a true service facility. Sincerely Steve

Im a travel nurse and happen to need my vehicle both to live in and to transport me to new assignments. I tend to go to dealerships since I travel to new places frequently. On two recent separate occasions I had given my vehicle to this dealership for work to be completed during a specific time frame in which I would need the vehicle back at the end of.The first visit I called and scheduled the work with plenty of advance notice and dropped the van off for two whole weeks that they could work on it. The vehicle was not even diagnosed until Thursday of the second week. Two repairs were not completed since the parts would not come in time due to them not diagnosing my vehicle in a timely manner. I was left with a non-working headlight and turn signal assembly and a jerry-rigged hood release cable. I was told that they would order the parts and the next time I was in Reno they would install them.Fast forward to this past week, I took a trip from Washington to Reno in large part to have these parts installed. Again, I called with plenty of notice and stated the dates I was able to provide them my vehicle and when I would need it back. Troy from service department called me the morning after I had dropped the van off. When I received the voicemail I called in to speak to him. He never once answered his direct line when I called it. Every time I had to call the general service department line and they had to find him or tell me they would relay the message.The last piece of correspondence, on Friday, I called because I was getting worried the job wasnt going to get done. I was told that the parts had come in at 1pm and not to worry, that they were working on it now, that he would call me again in about an hour and a half. I was never called and happened to notice the time was 6pm. I had to contact the sales department since it was just after 6pm at this point.Had I not called in, they would have just kept my van and not even notified me that the job wasnt completed. Not only that, but when I talked to Troy after hours he stated that my vehicles service was not even started on and that he had no idea I needed my van back. I had implicitly told him of this fact, in addition to the secretary that scheduled the appointment over the phone- knowing I was driving from Washington for this job. I paid him for the parts and he said I could go elsewhere to get the repairs completed.Both visits I was hardly ever called and updated on anything, and when I called in, the service manager in charge of my vehicle was hardly ever available and I had to leave a message. I cannot believe the level of unprofessional communication by this establishment. I will never take my vehicle to this location again, and when I take Reno job assignments in the future, I will be driving to Carson City for better service.Im not a person to write negative reviews, but these two visits were so inadequate and unprofessional that I felt compelled to say something and hopefully save someone else the headache that I was caused.

I found the service at Dolan Dodge to be excellent. I was able to get an appointment the very next morning. Rodney Helsel is an outstanding service coordinator. He took care in a professional manner and arranged for the work to be done. Although my vehicle was very Rusty and difficult, Josh was able to finish it ahead of schedule which was perfect for me because my son was going to take it the next day on a vacation.In short I found the entire Dolan Dodge organization that I had contact with to be very helpful, very efficient and professional.

And on each occasion I was told to leave my phone number because the service department was busy and could not answer my questions at this time. I left my phone number and on each occasion they never called me back. Dolan Ram has been wonderful! I was on a waitlist for a recall part and then my check engine light came on and I threw the code for the recalled part. They were able to bump me up in the list and get me in right away. I was very thankful since I was leaving for a road trip the next day and the risk of overheating with temps in the low 100s was a concern without the repair. My advisor Troy was wonderful and even though they didn’t have any rental cars they set me up with an Uber to and from home so I could continue packing and prepping for my trip. I cannot say enough about how awesome their service was! I will definitely be coming back!

Had a warranty issue with my new 1500. My service specialist James Fisher did a really excellent job in getting the issue figured out and keeping me informed during the whole process. I can not believe the difference Dolan Dodge people are compared to other dealers in the area.I am back with the Dolan family and am glad I am.Thank you James for your help and taking care of the issue for me. 5 out of 5 stars.

I recently bought a 2021 dodge ram 1500 big horn from Dolan Dodge Ram FIAT in Reno, NV.Throughout the whole process of picking which truck I was interested in and test driving, there was no feeling of pressure or shady business going on. The salesman who assisted me , Mateo, was really knowledgeable of the products he was selling and answered every question I had with accuracy and honesty. All in all, I am very happy with the products Ram is offering and would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a molar vehicle.

I ordered a new RAM truck that was highly optioned. They said it would take 8 weeks and it took 12. That was OK but what happens next is not. I got a VIN assigned and a delivery date. Two days before the delivery date I checked in and they said it had arrived early but a mistake had been made and it was sold to someone else. I believe someone offered them more for this highly optioned truck and they sold it out from under me. The GM would only say “we can order you another one”. That is the worst customer service I can imagine. I had planned on this truck for the summer and now I have nothing I would not buy any vehicle from a Dolan Dodge dealership. If this is how they treat a customer I would run the other way.

All the staff were extremely friendly and super helpful. They never made me feel pressured. I have purchased from Dolan family before and have always been extremely satisfied with the service they provide. This was no different. So glad that Ram/Dodge is now part of their family. Helpful and informative. Troy answered the dumb questions I asked in a way that didnt remind me how little I know about cars. Including some details about my cars warranty. Ill be going back for sure, not just because I have an appointment to follow up on the service I received there, but I also know now that this is the kind of garage I feel just fine returning to should something go wrong in the future.I mean it was just my first visit, but yeah ,so far the car runs good I hope it stays that way.

Had a water in fuel issue with my diesel truck called Dolan and they had me come in immediately. Dolan worked on my truck and also did the maintenance at that time so I wouldnt have to come back later in the week for my maintenance appointment.

No pressure and at my price point. We showed up late on a Friday, dealt with sales rep. Matthew. We kept him and his fiance guy (a Marine. Sorry i cant remember your name and again thank you for your service) late to take care of the details and paperwork. They were both a pleasure to deal with and will do it again if needed. Luckily the truck i purchased will probably last longer than me.

Troy bid a good job getting me in and out .. service tech said truck needed a new wiring harness in dash. At a cost of 400 then 2200 to install it ,,, said right side not communicating with left side. When I got truck home I looked at wiring on right side toe kick. Noticed to plugs ( gray ) color of wires on one side not the same on other side , unplug them , compare them on opposite side.. switched those two ,,that matched color for color. Truck started right up Also when he reprogrammed my key he didn’t program the extra one in console ,, now I one key that doesn’t work

Drive to the dealership and talked to the advisor. They brought the truck into the shop. Did the oil change and tire rotation. Everything was fine. Drive the truck home and parked it. Found oil puddles under the truck. Through further inspection, found the oil drippings was not cleaned up off the frame. Glad I don’t live in an HOA.
