Ive been coming here for years and the staff are really nice, however, Ive been getting dip for over a year now and the last few times I got my nails done, they have cracked or broken off. I had to go back 3 times in 1 week to get my nails fixed just days after paying $55 to get them done. I will sadly be finding a new salon.

Im always skeptical walking into a place Ive never been but they were extremely friendly. I dont get my nails done often and had a few unpleasant experiences but this was far from that. Unfortunately, I didnt get the womans name that did my nails but she was great, friendly and did an amazing job. Never were my hands uncomfortable. I highly recommend this place. I also went right when they opened with no appt and was seen immediately. Make sure you tip your nail tech! Thank you nails for you for the great experience and nails.

Short wait, even when being a walk in. Sweet nail techs (love the new wrist rest trick, genius!) Detailed, beautiful work and they really listened to what I wanted and did it! Perfectly priced too!

I walked in 30 minutes before I actually came in for a simple set of nails (just black tip French w/white flowers a set of nails that can be done in 25 minutes) to see if they could get me in before the end of day, they said yes come back. I told them I had to start my laundry at my favorite laundromat (Metromat) which is next door, they nodded ok so I started my laundry. I walk back in 25 minutes later at 625 and they tell me I cant get my nails done, even though they had a customer who barely stepped in not even a minute before me and was started. I guess the one person who was doing her nails was more competent than the 6 others who were talking and giggling in the back. Too bad for them I am at the laundromat weekly and I will never walk into their establishment ever again, the customer service was poor at best and the cleanliness was below average, I guess I should thank them for turning me away this way I dont get some type of infection 😫. I would strongly recommend that you stay clear of this place

Ive been here a total of 4 times. Every time Ive wanted to come here Ive called ahead to see if they could take an appointment for me (which they never do) and they tell me to just walk in at a certain time. The first time was okay. Friendly and I was accepted as a walk in. Which was nice. This first set of powder nails were done okay. They were a bit chunky but overall decent. I dont like not being able to pay with my debit card. When I went to pay with card she asked if I could withdraw cash at the atm of the establishment next door and she gave me $2 for the atm fee. It was odd to say the least. Okay so I dismissed any and all negative feelings about this place. Because its literally across the street from where I live. The second time I call beforehand to make sure Im not interrupting their scheduled appointments..again Im told to just walk in. When I do show up all the techs are busy and everyone is surprised Im there. I wait patiently for the next available tech. Never knowing any of their names because they dont bother setting appointments for new clients. When a tech finally frees up she asks me what I want, I want to touch up my powder nails. New color and shape. And she starts asking if Im sure this is what I want. Because in her opinion it wasnt a good idea. I reassured her its what I want. And she began filing down my pre existing powder nails. Now Im not sure if this is how the process goes but it HURT. It felt like she was burning my nails off. She kept stopping and asking if Im okay and kept warning me that the heat is to be expected. We finally get down to a thin layer and she begins the process of adding the new powder coats on my nails. She asked me to take a look to make sure I like them. Upon inspection i noticed that was corners on the nails where the powder did fill in properly. When I mention this she does absolutely little to nothing to try to get full coverage, leading to uneven edges on my nails. Next we move on the more filling, grinding and shaping. Here she ends up cutting my left ring finger and it is the open and bleeding throughout the rest of the process. Not to mention the really bad sting when she got the final powder coat nail polish in the cut. I wanted matte black stiletto nails. They were pretty uneven and crooked and chunky. And I had a cut finger. $60 is what I paid for that. Now here we are today, I called ahead of time as always, because I just want these nails off. They said come in at 1 despite me trying to make an appointment. I ran 4 mins late because I stopped at my bank to withdraw cash knowing they wont take my card. And when i arrive she said Im too late. And then basically turned her back on me. When i asked if i can make an appointment or come back later, she just tells me to come back at 245. I left. Dont plan on ever coming back. So many chances and every time got let down. Its not worth the time, money, or energy to come here. I do not recommend.

This is my second time going in I went with my mom and sister to get our nails done I asked for ombré nails and some butterfly stickers the girl did just plain black mails and one finger with the butterfly’s she did not do my nails how I wanted and on top of that she charged me thirty dollars more so I will not be going here anymore she messed my nails up and she pocketed 30$ more

Staff was super nice & attentive. Nice & clean place. For the workers sake, they need to wear better protective masks -- like N99. They really, really need better ventilation, as theres a very strong chemical smell. I would have given 5 stars were it not for the chemical fumes.

Been my Nail place for almost 4 years now since we moved to this side of town. The nail ladies get to know everyone and thats what makes this place unique. Ive NEVER had a bad experience or had to return after an appointment. I cant say enough good things. Pricing is fair and good to me but as I said I havent gone anywhere else for years now.

HORRIBLE waited almost an hour, the lady that did my full set made my nails shorter then I asked and then tried to charge me 37$ after I told her she was wrong. The first experience was amazing but the second one not so much. Imagine going to a nail salon and walking out with lumpy/uneven dip nails. I didnt even have a chance to tell her what shape I wanted my nails and had to tell her to even out a nail that was obviously lopsided. Yes, I could have asked for them to be fixed but I didnt want to spend another minute there and would rather go somewhere else to have them completely redone. The sad part is that one of the other ladies noticed the mistake (the lumpy portions of my nails) and informed the woman who was working on my nails but didnt say anything to me about fixing it. News flash: some of us can understand and speak Vietnamese too. Ive had dipped nails for 4 months and this is the worst experience Ive had getting them.

Being stuck having to find a New nail tech can be discouraging and frustrating...So I did my research and this place was rated way above others in the 3.0-3.4 range this place exceeded that! So not only does that speak volumes it shouts it!I called and requested Tina or Sam based off review recommendations! And Tina answered so nice and took the time to listen to me and get me scheduled in on a busy Friday in a timely manner...Impressed her customer service was ExcellentThat’s not it! I had a full set and not only did she accept my suggestion on my style I personally like but through out the process she persisted on making sure I liked her work! Made me feel valued as a customer and that I was spending my money wisely!She’s my new nail lady! with the sweetest kindest personality u can tell she doesn’t play about her establishment or her work I already scheduled my next fill and pedi! 💅🏽💜🎯 she surpassed my previous nail tech after 10+ years off and on!Nails for you! I have been a customer since 2009. Sam was my previous nail tech, but due to scheduling conflicts, I have changed to Tina. Both ladies do a fantastic job and stand by their work. Sam also does the best eyebrows in Portland!!! I will never go to another place for eyebrow wax or nails!

Wasnt asked what I was looking for, she just started then got annoyed when I didnt want square nails. She was silent the entire time, and made me feel like an inconvenience instead of a customer. Never going back.

Would not reccomend. I made an appointment. Arriveed and the end result was terrible. When asked to fix it, nail tech attempted but still wasnt what I wanted, just looked a smidge better. Would not reccomend. Not even worth a tip.

I love this nail salon! I started getting my nails and eyebrows done there when I was in high school, which was a loooooong time ago! Lol! I havent been in for a bit now since I had my son because all of my extra money I used to have to spend on getting my nails and brows done, is spent on him. That being said, once I am able to afford them, I will be back there! Ive been to many other salons but have yet to find one as good as Nails For You. They do amazing work and are very reasonably priced.

Horrible customer service!!!! Been following Sam for 10 years. I always tip good and compliment nail tech. Today, I brought four people, Minimum of 160. Dollars. Made an appointment for 2 people. Waited over 50 mins past my appointment. Then was passed off to a guy who didn’t want to be nice, explain, or talk to me as the teens guardian.. Tina the owner let him refuse me service cause I had questions, and she took one of sams clients.. so Sam didn’t stand up for me after 10 years and Tina allowed all of this. So I took my business and left in tears that loyal clients can be so disrespected and it be ok... Tina doesn’t care about clientele, She will just tell you go away and find different customers!!!! They never honor Apts. Keep you waiting forever.. but you always pay top price for poor customer service.

I LOVE IT HERE!!! I have been coming here for a little over 6 years. As a regular customer, my experience is always awesome. I have NEVER had a better job done on my eyebrows, toes, or nails than when I get them done at Nails For You. I actually was very disappointed the few times I HAD to go to another salon for services. I now live about 30 minutes away but will travel just to come here. THANK YOU TINA< YOU DO A WONDERFUL JOB. YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF YOURSELF!!! A salon doesnt stay open and busy every single day, all day for 6+ years(who knows how long theyve been open. 6 years is just as long as I have been going there) if its a bad, dirty salon (as previous poster basically described it).

This was my first time and I definitely wont come back here again. The tech Tina that did my fill got an attitude and rolled her eyes when I said ow because she was drilling for so long on one nail that it started burning. My previous nail color is STILL present since it wasnt removed properly. I asked for an ombré design so another tech attempted. The color didnt cover my full nail, and its not enough layers so it doesnt even look like it was freshly done, they look a week old. When I mentioned it and asked could she add more layers so that you dont see my nails underneath, she said well thats how ombré is which is a LIE, and didnt do anything to fix it. ombré changes from one color to another. It has NOTHING to do with my nails not being fully covered with polish. They wont get my money again.
