I went here two weeks ago, and to start off they made both my thumb cuticles bleed (the photo was after a couple days of healing). And two of acrylics popped off on their own after only two weeks of having them.. never had an acrylic just come off completely without force. On the plus side the owner and employees were friendly for what I understood and even shared a cool hack with me. But I dont think I will ever be returning. Just a heads up their website prices are not updated so instead of the $35 I thought it was going to be for each me and my 2 sisters, it was $45 each?? The full hand photo is the day the acrylics were applied.

Went in for a polish change and manicure. The polish change was what it was but was 12 dollars which I found kinda ridiculous. The manicure was worse; the tech was on his phone the whole time that I asked for him just to finish so I could pay and leave…no polish. Not only was this the worst manicure I’ve ever received but I was charged 18 dollars for a file and cut cuticle. I minus well have dropped 20 dollars on the floor. I would have felt better accepting that over spending 31 dollars on a poor job and bad attitude.

I have been going to them for years and they are great! They are always able to recreate any design I show them a picture of. Always make me feel welcomed and have great customer service! 100% would recommend!

Everyone is very welcoming and nice. The prices are very reasonable, especially for how high quality the service is. Out of all the nail salons Ive been to, M&S is by far the best one!!

This salon is awesome!!! They are so professional and do a wonderful job, and it’s just an overall nice environment. I read the last review and it made me want to tell you the truth about this place. I’ve been to a few overpriced rude salons and that is far from this place. Even though I’ve been going to this salon regularly for awhile, to see someone bash this wonderful place and people made me realize all voices matter and I should voice that I love this place and you should make your own judgement and go in and give them a try. You’ll become a regular like me!

Love this nail salon! Been coming here for months there gentle amazing good prices! I always ask for Mrs.Vivian does amazing work these are my own nails! Gel and powder I get done. Would highly recommend them! Vivian and husband Mike are very lovely fun people. Salon is nice and relaxing clean and professional.

Both visits have been perfect. The staff is so sweet and genuine. I dont normally get manicures but I did my first visit and this is the only place that hasnt completely destroyed my cuticles. Both my hands and toes look great! Thank you!

I had come in for a full set but before they got started, the gentleman in there prepping my nails made me uncomfortable.. asked me if I was a girl... ( I have short hair, wearing makeup and a bit on the heavier side ) and when I awnsered yes he snickered at me. Thats not really professional and I was kind of offended..I dont know if you treat other customers like that but.. that wasnt okay for me. People come in to express themselves by getting their nails done and stuff like that.. makes them not want to come in if you treat them like that.But other than that they did great on my nails.

I had a really good experience here except she tried to match the polish I picked out ( which was out I guess) and it was much darker than my toes. I had wanted a lighter matching red. Other then that they were great. I would return.

Been going to M&S on a regular basis for shellac mani & spa pedi for years. The salon is very clean & COVID safe. The staff are very friendly and have great attention to detail. If something is not right they will definitely make it right. Also great place for waxing - safe and professional job. Easy to get in on short notice.

Ive given this place a couple of tries but no more. My first experience i had to return the next day and get my nails shortened..the 2nd time i came in i showed the man a pic of what i wanted and was told they could do it..the man started my nails Halfway threw he had a lady take over who didnt know what i wanted..she answered a phone call while doing my nails. Which i feel is unprofessional. I dont go to mcdonalds order food and while theyre fixing my order dont stop and pick up theyre cell phones...my nails are not slender and short like i asked nor is it anywhere near the pic i showed the man i wanted. I left with nail polish on my fingers and the underneath part of my nails u can still see the super glue and my own nails..horrible. the treat u like cattle herding you in an out as fast as possible and do what they want..if i ask you for a certain look and you say u can do it then why as the nail tech you have me pick out the color? go some where else..oh and then they charged me 40 bucks when a fill is only 20...funny how that worked out..

I went to five or six different salons before I found this one. They are clean, fast, and do an excellent job. They offer soda, water, mimosas, or wine which makes it an even better experience. They use high quality product and charge rates as if they used cheaper product.Several times Ive gone in for a pedicure and a fill and they will do both at the same time so I get out of there quicker. I will always go to this salon as long as I live here.Also, my mom lives in Nevada and M&S Nails is the only place she will ever get a pedicure.

I am pretty picky about my nails and Vivian does a great job. I can show her pictures of what I want and she does a great job. I would love to put no stars! The first time we went in they cut my daughters finger and charged $60 for both of us. $20 more than the other places so against my better judgement my daughter went back. They rushed through it and they were pushing the shellac because it costed $30 for that last time. They charged me $30 this time too! No shellac! Rip off!! I will never go back and I will tell everyone not to go there.

Cannot recommend. Inexpensive is the plus side. Im not very high maintenance, but at least smile at your customers and give them a second to pick polish. They werent crowded when I went, and I never go right before close. Practically before I told them what service I wanted I was being asked to pick polish. Was looking at polish and being told to SIT! The tech rushed my pedicure, didnt want to give time to dry, and refused to put my sandals on before polish. So, of course, when she was putting my sandals on, she ruined two nails on each foot. Which she rushed to correct. The job looked awful and I just wanted away so I paid and left.

UPDATE: Former owners opened up a new salon called MP Nail Spa which is by the Grocery Outlet off of Hall and Scholls Ferry if you are looking for a new place...My daughters and I have been coming to the salon for nearly 10+ years. An unfortunate change in ownership has led me to seek another salon. The new owner is nice, however none of the old staff remains at this location, as they have either quit, or he has let them go. The new staff does a terrible job. Shellac peels within one week or bubbles. The owners wife who works there doesnt communicate, and forgets to give you the hot wax even though theyre going to charge you for it. Everyone is rushed and the place was a mess!! Towels all over the floor, pedi stations not cleaned up. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Im a classical guitarist and use gels on four fingers of my right hand. The results are incredible, but only if the nails are done really well and with the highest level of consistency. M&S do a superb job, with surgical precision every time. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Lady was too rough, she cut my finger and even though it was bleeding, she continued (did a full set, shellac). No apologies. Just looked at me and went back at it. When it came down to paying, she almost charged my card +$400, and laughed it off. No discount or anything offered for the injury she caused.Throughout this time, she kept checking her phone, and even made a call 5min of getting started. Not worth it at all! My nails are still sore!

Im always disappointed with the end result when I come here. The technicians are friendly enough. My nails are never even, long, short, shorter, misshapen. Need more practice.

My mother and I went there to go get our nails done last week. She had the shellac manicure and I had a full set with the shellac. Not even a whole week goes by, and my nails started popping off like press on. My mothers shellac started cracking off not even three days later which usually it lasts for three weeks. The guy doing my mothers nails was also the receptionist. He was so busy doing other things that he wasnt paying attention to what he was doing in the result was really crappy work. I will never recommend going here.

Im giving this place 3 stars because it used to be really really good but recently the past couple months they have gotten sloppy me and my mom and my sister went in, we didnt make an appointment so we asked if they had room for 3 of us the guy was like sure, he was doing mine and my moms nails I sat in the seat and waited for my mom to get done the guy was distracted and keeps looking at his scheduleing notebook and answering phone calls. By the time he got to me my sister was already done with a full set of acrylics. As a result I got a rushed job and a bad service, if you dont have room for people turn them away I wont get offended, and why if you are makeing calls and booking appointments why are you doing other peoples nails....I might give it another try purely because this place used to be good and i have good memories.

I love coming to this place because id have one specific person do my nails. Last time i went in. I got my nails done by this lady that was really rough and she had just an annoying look on her face. The whole time she kept pulling my hand and shoving it here and there. At the end when she was all done i cant blame her. She did a good job on my nails i tipped her $10 hoping maybe next person she attends, she doesnt grab on to them harsh and aggressive. We all have stressful days and hard times but were just customers getting our nails done we pay for a good job and for atleast decent, respectful service.

She told me if i wanted a spider web so if you suggest it that means you can do it right? Well wrong she couldnt and looks messy and not like a spider web..I should have just said nevermind but it looks horrible pretty bad customer service Im disappointed and wont be back

I’m beyond disappointed in their work the new ownership is horrible. I was told by the OWNER that they could do designs. I had an appointment and I get there and the owner had told me I had an appointment with Vivian and then as I arrived he said she didint have time but that his other employee could do the same it was all going well then she said she wasn’t to familiar to doing designs and for being in a rush just took the jewelry off my nails and said maybe I should think about it and come back when I was sure. Packed my things and said she was done. I use to go to them years ago when they where under different ownership and this time I was very disappointed and felt very disrespected.

Had shellac nails done...lasted 3 weeks! I was even in the water for 1 weeks vacation and they still look great! Bree is the gal to see!
