Came in yesterday with an idea for my nails and the folks at Mississippi nails were super accommodating and professional. I love the way my nails turned out. I can’t wait to come back!

The only nail salon that truly does amazing work. Plus I dont feel like Im being rushed. And the nail techs talk to you and get to know you and thats so sweet. Ill keep going back to them and I highly recommend them to anyone.

I had a great experience here. The staff was very kinda and accommodating, I love that they offer drinks, and have a wide variety of levels of service for all price ranges and needs. Both my manicure and pedicure turned out beautifully and lasted for about 2 weeks before I needed a touchup

I love this salon! They do wonderful pedicures, and the standard pedicure ($31) includes a sea salt scrub and hot stone massage. They also give you a complimentary drink- mimosa, champagne, wine, tea or soda! They are lovely. I’ve never had to wait long as a walk in, but I do usually call ahead.

I have been going to them for years and staff is great! My only thing is every time I get shellac it peels in a few days and it’s just disappointing to have it chip/peel so fast. Other than that they are clean and great and I think the shellac has to do with the brand of shellac.

Was told it would be a 20 minute wait, ended up being an hour. No communication given despite obvious stares from me and a friend as we were wondering what the hell was going on. Upon mentioning how long we were waiting (there were only 3 other guests) it was barely acknowledged. When we were done we were presented with a 20% off NEXT TIME card 🙄

Had the best mani/pedi I think I’ve ever had at Mississippi nails yesterday! Ive always been happy with this nail spa but so much attention to detail and care is taken I had to share. I’ve been going here since they opened, and they recently updated with new comfy chairs and decor. They are taking covid measures seriously and I felt well taken care of and safe.

This place is amazing! Complimentary wine, hot stone and paraffin wax for a basic pedicures and to top it off they added a flower design with a little righnstone! This is my favorite place from now on!

I usually go to FingerBang Portland but thought Id try a more affordable place for a plain shellac manicure. I am shocked that this place has received so many 5 star reviews...1. I made an appointment beforehand, however if the front desk is not attended to when you arrive you will be called out to from whatever nail tech is currently working closest to the entrance. No one likes to be yelled at when they walk in the door and I also dont know why they prefer you make appointments if you just have to restate what youd like upon arrival.2. They advertise a Shellac manicure, however it is actually OPI Gel. My nail tech proceeded to file down my previous Shellac color with her file board so hard that it tore at my cuticles (see attached images). If you are going to do the soak off method for Shellac there is no need to try to grind down the polish beforehand. She also knicked me several times with the cuticle cutter, my nail beds are still red and sore two days later.3. My nail technicians fingers were coverd in bandaids, GROSS. Not only was she holding my fingers with these bandaids, they were coming unraveled and getting in the way of her file board. She also kept rubbing her eyes, sniffling, and then touching my hands.4. Upon applying the polish, she globbed it onto each nail resulting in really thick and uneven coverage. She also proceeded to hit the highest time button each round on the UV dryer instead of using the appropriate time for each step in the process.Needless to say I will not be going back.

I visited this place 2 weeks ago it was a very nice experience. My wife wanted to get her feet and nails done and she demanded that i had my feet wirked on so i did and man did it feel good she really made my feet feel baby soft

Loved this place, amazing ambiance. The matching uniforms are a great touch. Best pedicure I’ve ever had. (I’ve had a lot.) she was gentle with my feet and the massage was just the right amount of pressure. They have a great collection of colors to choose from. It’s quiet and smells great and I left feeling so relaxed. Will be making them my go to from now on!

Such a great manicure. Went here out of convenience and it was honestly the best French manicure I’ve found in Portland. Mary asked if I liked them through out the entire process. When I noticed a bubble she corrected it right away.

All the ladies do a great job with my gel nails. That are so friendly and the environment is relaxing and so clean. The location is the best and you get a complimentary beverage. I had to move to a different part of town but still drive out of way to get my nails done here because they do the best job in the city.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! I had a salon that was my place but its really far from my house now so I was abresensive... I like this place even better and I was so happy with my old place. I did some traveling and had my nails done in California, DC, Arizona, Thailand, England and a couple places in Portland... I am telling you this place on Mississippi is the best!!! This is by far one of the best nail salons in the area! I had Natalie do both a manicure and pedicure, and she was amazing. She was so easy to chat with, and did an incredible job. Great customer service and they assist you as soon as you walk in the door and go above and beyond!!I have had nothing but great experiences here, and I’ll be sure to come back next time.

The paint chipped off all my nails within one day! I was very disappointed because I dont usually get manicures, and got this one for a special occasion.

I really love this place, its probably the best salon I have ever been to. The atmosphere is awesome, everyone is so friendly and professional. I came with my daughter for some quality time and they had my daughter taken care of as well. The technician took care of me was so kind, I was offered the best pedicure with complimentary beverage. For this good of the quality, they have a surprisingly affordable price. Will definitely come back and you really should give this place a try !!!

If I could give less I would. Myself and 3 others went in. I got a pedicure with matte finish. The next day after wearing socks, sitting in a car, they were no longer matte. I also got tips(which they only do dip polish on... and cant do matte) and the tech made me bleed on two different fingers with the dremel tool and had to stop the bleeding a few times after even wiping it into the polish. I got my nails done on 5/22, on 5/28 I opened a drawer and a nail broke in half. Today, 5/29, another came off so I just pulled off enough that I can type and Ill remove the others. 1 week of nails. Another who went with me had two of their nails break on 5/27. If you want lasting nails, DO NOT GO HERE.

This salon is so great I drive from Ridgefield WA to Portland to get my nails done here. Lindsey did my shellac manicure and it lasted FOUR weeks and still looked amazing! The salon is clean and staff are very friendly... I highly recommend!

Really great first visit, had to post immediately. I arrived only a couple minutes early and was seated immediately and offered refreshment while choosing a color for my Shellac manicure. The space is well utilized with many services available, and everyone seemed to be thoroughly enjoying their time being massaged, scrubbed, clipped, and painted. My nail artist was very professional and careful but not unwarm, we chatted and she received a generous tip because I was just so pleased with the whole trip. They have an ATM in store with no surcharge, so I paid in cash. Very fair prices for the quality, I will be excited to come back here for my next touch up.

I have been getting my pedicures done here for 3 years and I am always pleased. My number one concern is sanitary practices which is what attracted me to Mississippi Nails. They sterilize all of their tools in a machine and take them out of a sealed sterile pack right in front of you. They also clean the bowl after each client AND use bowl liners. And finally, for a very small fee ($1 or so), you purchase your own files and toe separators that you can bring back with you each time. I drive all the way from Camas, WA to get my nails done here and I even trust them with my 12 year old daughter’s nails.The bonus is that all of the nail techs do an excellent job too! My gel pedicures are always perfectly smooth and even and last for at least a month. They are always kind to me and the free drink is a nice perk. I always make an appointment so I never have to wait long for my service. Bottom line: Go to Mississippi Nails; they will take care of you!

Really love this place, they give complementary drinks, always have room for walk-ins, and they have such a huge variety of services for pedicures. My cousin and I got the deluxe with hot stone pedicure and it was an hour long and involved multiple exfoliating scrubs that felt great, creams, wax, hot stone massage and this cooling mask at the end. Ive been a couple times now and will continue to go.

Not your average chop shop. It is a little more expensive than most, but you absolutely get what you pay for. $60 for a deluxe spa pedicure with gel polish seemed like a reasonable price to me, especially after the super long scrub (my favorite part), paraffin dip, hydrating mask, and wonderful and long massage! I wish I knew the name of the girl who did my pedicure so I could recommend her! She did an amazing job.Either way, this place is very nice and it includes a complimentary beverage (alcoholic or non alcoholic). Im lucky enough to work down the street, so I will definitely be back! Thank you!

My mom, sister and I came for their spa pedicures, which are a great deal! Their most economical option includes a hot stone massage and parrafin wax. The staff was friendly, kind and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. The massage chairs are excellent, lots of nail colors and a complimentary mimosa too!

Kathy is the best. Always go for the 1 hour pedicure. Worth your time and money.

Mississippi Nails is my favorite place to get my nails done. Everyone is very nice, and do a wonderful job! They also have good prices, and keep their workplace clean. I definitely hope that you choose to come here to get your nails done! Because I strongly recommend it.

Do not go here. I went here for the dip powder which is definitely overpriced; and my nails began to chip and brake within 2 days. They were able to get me in to fix it but for some strange reason they only able to fix some nails which resulted in some nails being long and some short.(A hot mess!) the following day the top coat began to peel and nails start chipping.My pedicure was rushed through and the quality of work isn’t the best. Not worth the money.

Great Nail Salon. Was able to take my little cousins there for manicures and I got a Shellac Manicure. They did a really good job and we also got cute designs. They have a complimentary beverage list which is nice even a margarita in a martini glass :). The only suggestion I would say is they didnt have any music on at the time I was there.Overall I would suggest getting your nails done here.

Made an appointment for my three year old and I to get manicures and pedicures. I chose this established because of the Yelp and they seem to cater to young kiddos. When we got to the spa it was very busy, I checked in for our reservation and assumed I would be sitting next to my daughter...I work a ton and wanted this to be some Mommy & daughter time...plus my daughter is three, she has a very short attention, and I wanted to chat with her to keep her busy. She was sat three chairs away from me. I was bummed. I asked how next time I could make an appointment in which I could sit next to my daughter. No answer. I explained why. No answer. I gave up. I got the pedicure and cancelled the manicure (as it would have taken too long). My pedicure and my daughters Mani/pedi both turned out great; however, we will not be back as Im still not clear about how to make a reservation that will allow me to be next to my kid.

I have been here at least a dozen times and have had a great experience each and every time. Manicures and Pedicures are great. They offer refreshments and a great atmosphere. Great mini salon area for kids to have their nails done also. Highly recommend.

I have to change my review. Yesterday, I went in. I asked for assistance trying to match shellac with my toe color. No assistance given other than colors dont exactly match. Then after little help to be demanded a tip not only from the girl who finished my mani..but also for the girl who did my pedi! How rude. Tips are for services that are above and beyond and should not be expected. Truly disappointed.

I took my sister here to get a pedicure - it was OK, not great. I made an appointment the day before and we each got the spa pedicure. The woman seemed annoyed that we did not want to upgrade to the next one, but it involves a sea salt scrub which I don’t particularly like. The pedicure was pretty quick and after they were done, our nail techs both left to other customers and never said anything to us. After about 25-30 minutes of sitting there we just got up to pay and leave and were never offered the disposable flip flops (my nails were needless to say smudged by the time I got home since I had socks and shoes on). Like I said it was OK, but I have been to nail places with much better service for the same price. This place was convenient with our plans for the day but I would not go back.

Great nail polish selection and good prices. They are popular so you most likely will want to call ahead so you can get a spot.

As someone who get regular pedicures, this was a lovely service! Very busy location but even so, all tools came out of sterile packaging and footbaths were lined for each customer. Complimentary drink was offered upon arrival and WiFi is available! Highly recommend, just make a reservation on weekends as its right off of bustling Mississippi.

One week in and my nails still look good! I have a hard time growing them and they have a crappy shape but they did a great job with the shellac here

Went for a pedi, got nails cut in different shapes, cuticles were not pushed, polish chipped after 3 days, technician looked like she wanted to die, got stiffed on the prices. Would absolutely not recommend.

Professional and kind staff, but less than prompt service. I made an appointment for two for 4pm and we did not get served until after 4:30. It was a busy day with lots of foot traffic, so I get why. Still a bit disappointed as this location came highly recommended.

I have always been very happy with my experience at Mississippi Nails. My last visit i had a request to have a Hellon Kitty design. Staff was amazing and did exactly what i asked for!

The nail tech was great & it was probably the best pedicure I have ever had. Halfway through my pedicure another person checked out and I noticed they told him cash only & to use their ATM. Then the lady who was doing my nails said to me you use ATM? Its free. Well, its not free because my bank charges a fee. She claimed their credit card machine was broken but when I told her I wouldnt use their ATM and would need to go to my bank and come back it magically worked again. I am so tired of nail salons trying to scam the system with cash. I dont think it was fair to tell me mid way through that its cash only. They need to tell their customers at the beginning if thats how they decide run their business.

Pedicure itself was great. However, the moment the paint was on we were kicked out of our seats to the childrens chairs. When I said that I would just leave the technician complained that my nails were not dry. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

Avoid. This place is the least relaxing mani-pedi my partner and I have ever experienced. It is not a calm environment, and everything felt pretty rushed. We had to hold our arms up for a while during the manicure which was happening at the same time as the pedicure - tiring, and awkward because it was off to the side while someone is working feet.The nail polish for my partner came out wrinkled, instead of fixing it they kept adding coats. At one point there were 6 coats on there... we just told them to remove it all.Not sure what’s going on here because the reviews are overall good, but just skip it.

I’ve been coming here on and off for 2 years and it’s hit or miss. Tonight I came in towards the end of the night when it was slow, had a reservation, and left before close, but service felt very rushed and they did not do a good job. Had to ask to repaint and file a few nails and nail polish from previous pedi was showing through. Didn’t really clean up the polish on skin around my nails. Just sloppy. Plenty of new competition in the neighborhood now, I’m not planning to come back and would not recommend.

The worst experience ever. The water was cold, and they didnt tell me until I stuck my feet in. THe lady next door had hot water heated up. I guess it was because I only had the 26.00 pedi. Then they forgot about me when I was done, so I started to leave to pay and then they asked for a tip!

Great pedicure!! Worst manicure!!! Ive ever had! Never do them at the same time here... they do your mani while u get your pedi... standing with your hands in mid air. They were very un-accommodating... they kept messing up, made me bleed from the file- filed my skin. And was easy to tell they were talking badly about my friend and I in Vietnamese... terrible experience. But the salon is beautiful! And they have complimentary drinks which is nice. But I will never go back there...

Loved getting a mani/pedi here. Took my 3 daughters with me and they had a blast getting their kids mani/pedi. My only complaint is that the ladies all talked to each other in a their native language and its hard not to think theyre talking about their customers with the way they act. Im not sure I would return.

I just waited for 50 minutes after making an appointment. I expect some wait with any salon but this was pretty rough.

My husband and I love this place! Friendly staff, lots of nice new chairs, and my man can get a margarita while he gets a pedi with me.

She made me bleed (which really hurt!) and now my cuticle is looking pretty gross and maybe infected. She kept trimming my cuticles after she cut me and even trimmed the same one that she cut two more times. She took off wayyy more cuticle than any other manicurist has ever taken off for me and she wasnt really looking while she did it. She kept looking over her shoulder at the other people working there. When shaping my nails she pretty much shaved off the whole side of one of them. Im bummed because it takes me a long time to grow my nails out. The polish is thicker in some places and translucent in others. The top coat doesnt cover the whole nail and the polish is already peeling off in layers (I only got it 2 days ago!) Redeemable qualities: My other nails are shaped really nicely- just not the one. :( The environment is cozy (except for the TV that was playing news about the terrorist attacks which seemed really inappropriate and out of place to me). There are complimentary drinks including sodas and champagne. The people working there are friendly enough. They should also probably restock their nail polish more often because nail polish does expire.

One of the worst Mani pedis Ive ever had in my life!I usually dont write bad reviews but this was absolutely the worst nail salon experience Ive ever had. I came in with a bridal party, we had an appt for weeks in advance and I was counting down the days. I was the first one to sit down and the rest of my party had to leave me at the salon because my manicure and pedicure took over 2 hours! The man who did my nails was argumentative about the color and kept smudging the polish and then layering on more so it was just a thick pile of a smudged color that was not the color that I picked. The next day I noticed that my toe was cut and bloody from my pedicure. I will never go back to this salon ever again.

Even though I correct the nail tech a few times, she fixed it right away for me ! The over all place is excellent. An very welcoming place to come, they welcome you and offer you drinks! The over all staff is professional and excellent! My medi / pedi was relaxing just a few corrections, but I dont mind she fixed it for me! Higly recommend to book an appointment
