Clean, Professional, and friendly staff. Very helpful. My Massage Therapist Heather was amazing. I suffer from many body injuries and medical problems. She is able to help bring me back to functional (as functional as I get) and always has good helpful tips on how to take care of myself. If you get a chance go down and see her!

I had my legs waxed for the first time ever by Raven at 5th Avenue. She was amazing! Shes extremely quick, precise and professional and I will be going back to her for all of my waxing services now!

Called for an appointment. Completely booked for the date requested. Seems a popular location. Neighborhood is kinda sketchy. The homeless tents and crime and beggars and boarded windows and storefronts in Portland are unfortunate and, for these reasons, this Dosha location is at a disadvantage. Hard to believe the staff go to this location each day much less customers. Try the Hawthorne Street location. There youll find great staff and a great neighborhood. Portland!! Get yourself together or we wont visit your city again!!!

For an incredible massage, I can’t recommend Heather Keever highly enough. Her approach and the combination of soothing deep tissue and sports massage techniques have made a huge difference for me. I live and work overseas, but for the last several years I’ve made a point to try to schedule a massage with her each time I’m in Portland.She’s helped me to ease hip and lower back issues, tension in my neck and knots in my shoulders from chronic laptop hunching. Each time I see her, I’m impressed with her ability to determine where her attention will have the greatest benefit (and I trust her to help identify things beyond what I’m aware of with my own anatomy!). She’s helped me recognize when it’d be beneficial to see a chiropractor for an issue with my neck, and to appreciate linkages across my body (for example how tight hips impact the musculature around the rib cage, etc).I wish I could send all of my friends and family to her healing hands!

Natalie has been cutting my hair for over a year.Having lived in NY and LA before, I’ve gotten haircuts at some of the “best” salons with celebrity clientele. And I can confidently say that Natalie is incredible at what she does and has a great personality.PS: would gladly pay more and continue to be her client as she moves up the ranks!

$90 for curls (then a tip!). I declined the wash because I thought it would help keep the curls better. Fell out within 1 hour. The stylist was so nice and I enjoyed my time there and my hair did look beautiful when I walked out but really disappointed that it didn’t stay especially because I had a photo shoot in a couple of hours. I didn’t go and let them know but it’s not like I could go and fix it in time. Just frustrated by the whole thing.

I come here once a month to get my hair colored by Kari and she always does a fantastic job! She knows how to do the most perfect icy blond hair and has never compromised the integrity of my hair which is hard to do when your hair is getting bleached constantly. She truly is a master stylist. I’ve also seen Tori and Natalie for haircuts and both of them did an amazing job each time. They always leave my hair looking and feeling amazing. I love this place!

Friendly staff, I go in just to buy product, but have always been treated very warmly.

When getting a quote, they didnt mention the additional %8 sanitization charge. Stuff like that just bugs me. The cut was good, but I still went home an razored off a cat worth of hair because the stylist wouldnt thin it out as much as I needed.

I just had my second massage by Heather Keever and was just as impressed as I was the first time! She is friendly, professional, and great at what she does. I am so pleased to be able to return to my favorite stylist for the second time since reopening. Natalie is awesome at what she does and the rest of the staff are super friendly. I leave there feeling so refreshed! The staff are maintaining excellent hygiene and distancing inside and are requiring that of their customers. There is plenty of parking and it was nice to see people safely frequenting downtown supporting local business!

Natalie always does a great job! I get a fabulous and unique cut and color everytime! Love the fifth ave location as well. Didnt have any issues as far as safety considering I was downtown. As a plus, they also are doing temperature checks at the door, everyone is wearing masks, making sure to sanitize everything and respecting social distancing. Cant wait till next time!

Natalie is so fabulous! I had 4 months of growth due to pandemic and She totally worked with and came up with a style that works perfectly. This second cut is even more right for my hair.Also Dosha is practicing a very careful Covid criteria to keep their customers safe and distanced. Did not listen to what I wanted with my haircut at all, just trimmed the cut that was already there. Would book a redo but there’s nothing left to cut without it being entirely too short.

I came into the salon last week to get a massage and a haircut and came out a new human. I booked my haircut with Natalie, she was very sweet and ready to see me when I got there. I go to Dosha 5th Ave every two weeks for my lash extensions from Julia. She is so meticulous and always checks in with me each visit to ensure the result is what I’m looking for. I don’t experience any irritation or discomfort during or after the service and my lashes look amazing- full and fluffy. She also does a fantastic job with my brows. The whole experience at 5th Ave is warm, friendly, clean and I feel very safe and taken care of when getting my services done here.

After many years of searching for a great hair stylist in Portland, I finally found Kayla! She is super talented. She also listens and asks great questions to understand your vision completely. I am so happy with my cut and color! I highly recommend Kayla, she is the best.

I travelled 248 miles round trip to have my hair done at this salon. It was well worth the trip and my hair still looks fantastic months later. The staff are friendly. The facility is clean and bright. If you have naturally curly hair I recommend the Aveda volumizing tonic and “be curly” curl enhancer!

Dosha has been my hair styling place for 6 years! They have great service and very attentive. The downtown location is very quiet and there is no issues with the ongoing downtown situation. Great value!

I just dropped by to get my Aveda beauty products, and went to purchase my stuff, discovered the salon do not except Aveda memberships or rewards. There is No refunds to return and buy online instead so now I cant collect points on my Aveda membership.

I went in recently for a much-needed haircut. The salon was spotlessly clean, the staff were proficient with their COVID screenings and safety protocols, and it was wonderful to catch up with my stylist. My appt was around 5pm, and downtown felt completely safe. Remember this crew was laid off for several months, so slap on that mask, get in there, and tip generously if you are in a position to do so!

I’ve been seeing my massage therapist, Tracie, on a monthly basis for 6+ years so when COVID shut us all down, it was literally painful (albeit necessary). Once they re-opened, I was Tracie’s first appointment. Its quiet downtown, even on the weekend, so parking was available right out front. The whole staff was welcoming but careful to ensure everyone was safe. Ive increased my frequency and been back to see her 3 times plus a haircut with my stylist Natalie (such a lovely person!). Things are different but I felt safe and appreciated the much needed services! 100 stars for Dosha on 5th!

I come to Dosha on 5th ave for 3 different services and all of them are amazing! The people who work in this salon are so much fun, accommodating, and make sure you have the best experience. Natalie does my hair color, and if you like fun & vibrant colors, she is a great person to see! The blue has lasted me over 3 months and still minimal fading. Julia has been doing my eyelash extensions consistently for 3 months and now I couldn’t imagine my life without them. They make getting ready in the morning a breeze! Because I like to keep my routine minimal, I also have Raven wax and tint my eyebrows so I don’t have to fill them in! It’s wonderful to get up & be ready to go in the morning. You can tell those who work in this salon really support and help one another and they truly want clients to feel their best while uplifting those around them!

Kari Rivera been cutting and coloring my hair forever! She always knows exactly what Im looking for and helps me maintain the health of my hair as its growing out! Her shampoos are incredible! I have gotten two haircuts from Kayla and they have both been really cute and perfect! She really knows how to make a cut compliment your face, match what you want, and also takes whether your hair is fine/thick/coarse/etc. into account when discussing the cut. I appreciate the amount of time she takes discussing to get what you want and also voiced that everyone sees things differently when describing the cut that she sees and clarifies with you what she sees and what you see so she can give the results you want. Ive had other stylists SAY this at other places and then proceed to ignore exactly what I said I didnt want and did not actually see my vision for styles. (I dont ask for difficult things: angled bob/dont pull me platinum, just medium blonde/etc.) Its really nice to have someone who LISTENS to what I want and goes out of her way to give me that result. Its also really nice that she is fun to talk to!

Im so glad that Dosha is open again, with stringent Covid policies, so I can safely and comfortably return to having my hair done with Kalli. The salon is very thorough and attentive, and I love having Kalli as my stylist.

I have never had a therapist spend so much time on the area that was bothering me and she helped another area that needed work that I didn’t know about. The massage was the perfect balance of working trouble areas and relaxation. Within a few minutes, I knew I was in good hands and could fully relax. I wish I lived in the area so I could come regularly. If I come to Portland again, I will definitely be back.

I have been seeing Kari R. for years and I love her so much. She always gives me the best haircut. I moved out of state for a few years and found no one who cuts hair as well as her. She also gives amazing head and hand massages that are super relaxing youll nearly fall asleep! I love seeing her because she is always smiling and laughing and you can tell she genuinely loves her job. I am so glad I am back in PDX and get to see her regularly!

I come here all the way from Seattle for a facial with Julia. I could fall asleep!! I even made my friend come back with me a month later for another facial. I wanted her to have this experience! Julia is also the reason why my skin is better than ever. I bought the products she kindly recommended for MY skin (I asked for a recommendation). My skin is the best its ever been.

Had a one hour massage with Heather, she is amazing! Convenient location downtown. Its a little noisy in the massage area , you can sometimes hear voices from the salon area. I did not have that experience at other Dosha locations. Working on that issue would be a definite Improvement, however, I had a great experience there, and would definitely recommend.

The wait staff is so amazing! Very patient, helpful and charming!!! The bartenders are seasoned and they know how to make a wonderful classic oldie but a goodie drink! Came in here for an after dinner drink and ordered a grasshopper.. yummy!!! One of the best Ive had!!!

I had a wonderful deep tissue massage with Jason, and plan to go back. The staff were all super friendly, and the spa is immaculate, and nicely appointed. My only issue would be that we had 9am appointments, arrived 20 minutes early (as instructed when I made the appointment), and the door was locked. Although there were staff inside who saw us, they didnt open the door, and we had to come back. It would be nice to let customers come in and wait in the lounge.

I have been seeing Kalli Peterson for four years after a friends recommendation for someone who was knowledgeable about thick, curly, frizzy hair. For 20+ years I always wore in a ponytail with no style because my hair was unmanageable. Kalli has cut my hair in a way that is actually what my hair needs to be manageable and in the last few years I have actually been able to wear it in new, various styles because of the way she cuts it. Kalli is absolutely committed to her job and wants to make sure each client feels their best and is educated and has always taught me how to do the best for my hair outside of the salon. I do both color and perm, and Kalli always makes sure that the health of my hair isn’t compromised. She also gives very special service to me with hand and shoulder massages. She’s highly professional with extremely high standards of service. In addition, she is upbeat and a good conversationalist. Although I’m older, I’m very physically active. Tracies massages and advice help to keep my body up to all the activities in my very busy life. She’s also highly professional and has a very positive attitude. Her knowledge of the body and it’s workings is outstanding.

I saw Kalli for a cut and color and she was nothing short of wonderful. Easygoing, fun to talk to, and she took the time to make sure we were both on the same page. I had been looking for a new salon and was a little hesitant when I first made the appointment. However, my hesitation was quickly put to rest when I first entered the salon. Jason at Washington Street location was excellent. Worked out the kinks in my muscles and suggested stretches I can do that might minimize the problems from my gym workouts. Facilities and people at this location were great. Booking person was a bit of a question...said couldnt recommend Jason because she didnt know him as she did others that she recommended. I felt she discouraged me from trying the new guy though he was the only guy and I had asked for a guy, wanting stronger hands. Perhaps Dosha needs better internal communication concerning recommendations, or not provide recommendations at all during booking. Id rather call the location than call the bookings number, but thats the only number Dosha published.

You walk in and she always is in the same wonderful mellow get down to business mood and once you are in the chair she truly listens, does what you ask and keeps meticulously going over your hair until you say you love it. I just think she is the best. Oh and she always looks radiant. It feels so right to get your hair done by someone whos hair always looks fab herself.

I first came to Dosha for my wedding hair and got an appointment with Kalli. She created exactly what I wanted and was so wonderful for the big day (and shout out to Ashly for made the reservation process completely painless and stress-free)! I didnt expect to go to her as my regular hair person—just because I lived on the other side of the city. But after several bad experiences at other salons to maintain my post-wedding chop (angled bob), I came back to Kalli, hoping she could make as much magic happen with my everyday hair as she did with my wedding hair—and she did! Not only did she help smooth out a cut from another salon that had left me in tears, but she helped me transition my style to something I could more easily maintain, and now theres no one else I will go to!

My experience with Kayla at Dosha Salon was absolutely incredible!!!! I have never trusted someone with my hair so much! I live 5 hours away and I will not let anyone else touch my hair but the drive is completely worth it because the time, skill and focus Kayla puts into her work all while being friendly, warm and genuine is one of a kind. She is the epitome of what a professional should be and she is a true artist; her work reflects that. Kayla is my forever stylist!

I recently got my haircut by Kalli Peterson and she did an amazing job. I have been looking for someone to cut my hair since I moved to Portland several years ago but could never find a good fit. Kalli was so kind and personable from the first time we met. I cant imagine going to anyone else now.

Kalli Peterson is a ROCK STAR!! She is so good, in fact, that I have been traveling from Seattle to Portland to get my hair done for years now. I simply will not let anyone else touch it! Not only is Kalli a fantastic stylist, but she also goes out of her way to make sure she works with me to schedule a time that works best for me and my travel plans. She always goes the extra mile and never disappoints!

Kalli at the 5th ave location is amazing!! She got my hair from a deep copper to a super vibrant orange and it looks amazing. Not only that, but she genuinely goes out of her way to get to know you. You can tell that she takes her profession very seriously.Its hard to find someone that you can trust your hair with. I can not recommend her enough!

I love this salon it is a great location and very clean. Kalli Peterson is awesome! She always does a phenomenal job on my hair. The color is always fantastic. I recently had her do a major cut and style change and was extremely happy with the results.

Ive been seeing Kalli for years -- love her and wouldnt go anywhere else. My cut is always perfect, she helps me customize my vision so it works with my hair type and shes super fun to hang out with. Ive recommended her to tons of friends and family. The rest of the staff at the salon is always welcoming and helpful; the high energy is just what I need after a long day at the office. You cant beat the location for a convenient appointment. Highly recommend.

Kalli is STELLAR with a capital 5-STARS in being super FRIENDLY, ATTENTIVE to your desired look, and ACCOMMODATING in making sure you are always comfortable & having a relaxing salon experience ! She gave me highlights and even re-adjusted them with adding some lowlights to give me a soft look that I desired. She really did a spot-on job of putting in lowlights that match my own color. I had to go in the salon twice to accomplish my desired look, but it was only because I forgot to communicate I wanted ,overall, a soft look :)

I had the pleasure of having Kelli Peterson fix my hair after my wife tried to cut my hair for me. I had the idea that we could just buy some clippers and my wife would be able to just give me a quick buzz instead of going to get a professional to do it.After traumatizing my wife by making her try to use the clippers on my hair, I went with my wife to her appointments with Kalli. After my wifes appointment was done, Kalli was kind enough to find space in her schedule to correct my haircut.I recommend Kalli Peterson for anyone to get a great hair experience. She is an expert and will not steer you wrong.
