Im a full time graduate student, work full time, and have a dog so the little bit of free time I have I dont want to spend in the shower shaving. After considering my options, this center provided what I thought would be the most bang for my buck. Its a 10 minute walk from my home and the unlimited packages justified the big spend for me. I couldnt have been more wrong. At the beginning of the summer I foresaw that availability was going to be a problem, so I decided to book out multiple appointments at one time. Now, after spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on wax passes I have had multiple appointments canceled and unbelievable scheduling errors, and Ive only been able to get three appointments in the last four months or so. If you are considering what I did seriously, DONT DO IT, its a trap. I feel cheated and stolen from, especially as I see another deduction hit my account today for a service Im never going to be able to use. Such a waste of money.

There has only been one water that I’ve been satisfied with here... and I believe she no longer works there. She used to get really close after waxing and tweeze any missed hairs! Now, every time I leave, I find entire strips of hairs on the areas where I was supposed to be waxed. At this price, I feel like there should be ZERO hairs left. I think I’ll find a new waxing company.

The worst Brazilian wax experience. Had to tweeze lots of hair by myself after the service.Initially I booked with a waxer who has good reviews here, but I had to change my appointment. They could move me to one of earlier windows, but did not mention that I was going to have a different waxer. I realized I was booked with another waxer when she greeted me at the door of the wax room. She seems to be disconnected and bored the whole time. After 15min, she told me I’m all set. I felt too fast because this was the first wax after 2month. My hair was not fully grown back yet, but I knew it’d take more than 15min for thorough job. I hesitated to take a look there because the waxer was in the same small room the entire time, even when I was changing. When I took a look at home, I saw hairs left everywhere from the front to the back including longer, easily noticeable ones.I don’t recommend this place to anyone who wants a complete Brazilian wax service. I’ve done Brazilian wax at different places and this salon is by far the worst.I was hoping to find a good Brazilian wax salon near my house because my waxer moved the other side of the river and she’s always booked in the evenings. It turned out I paid for uncomfortable 15min with a sloppy wax job…

Ive been coming to European wax center for a few years now and want to shoutout Kat for her amazing professionalism during a stressful situation. She couldve handled the situation one way but chose to be incredibly kind and positive when customers were clearly frustrated due to a system error that was not her fault. We ran into an issue with my appointment time but it was handled and dealt with perfectly. I also want to shoutout Amanda for her amazing waxing skills and her friendly attitude. I recently started seeing Amanda and fell in love with the way she did my eyebrows. Thank you both so much for turning what couldve been a negative experience, into a positive one :)

Tara was my waxer, shes super chill and didnt shame me for being a sweaty betty like other waxers in the past lol good convo and highly skilled! I received my first Brazilian from Caitlin T. at the Uptown location and she was amazing. She made me feel really comfortable and the experience went a lot smoother(haha) than I’d expected. She was unable to make our last appointment and I decided to keep my time and wax with someone else, such a difference in experience. I will only wax with Caitlin from now on.

Very friendly receptionist! It was quick and not as bad as I imagined. The only issue was the fact that the floors had leftover wax, some hair and looked dirty. Ive been to enough establishments where the rooms need to be as if you were the 1st one in there maybe it was too busy to upkeep not sure but it made me second guess their sanitary protocols.

I live in Vancouver and gave that location a couple of tries but was never truly happy with my experience. I decided to try this Portland location and I am so happy I did! My girl Kelsey fixed my eyebrows so easily and made them look flawless. I can’t explain to you how amazed I was with the results. Plus, she’s experienced so when she pulls the wax it does not hurt at all. Definitely always returning to this location and scheduling with Kelsey; it is definitely worth the 35 minute drive!

I love this place! There are tons of places in my neighborhood that offer brow waxing for a considerably lower price but I go out of my way and spend almost double to have my brows done here because they are just that good. They take their time to make sure they know exactly what youre looking for and to apply the wax just right. They also make their own wax so its better on your skin and less painful. I wont go anywhere else since finding them. Bonus: you get a free lip or brow wax on your first visit!

I am surprised to see so many positive reviews here... I had a terrible experience at this shop. Not only was the room dirty and bleak, both the receptionist and the woman who waxed me seemed rushed and disconnected. I am surprised that the employees stay in the room while you get dressed and undressed. She barely talked to me about anything as it was happening, no one really talked about the products. She was curt when I said I was nervous or when I seemed to be in pain. I was so nervous and uncomfortable, I walked away feeling shamed and unwelcome. I have been to a few shops that were SO much better than this, that helped me feel calm and welcome. I will NEVER return to this place. People, you deserve better.

The waxing was fine, although I was having to tweeze the next day. The way the business is run is TERRIBLE! I had an appointment scheduled for over three weeks, was notified 45 minutes before my appointment that EWC was cancelling it. I called in and rescheduled for next day between two appointments that I had on my calendar. When I arrived for my appointment, they had booked it at the wrong time. I spoke to the manager, Bailey and said I did not want to continue my yearly membership with an inept business. She apologized and said she would cancel my membership, but do you think she did? Nope, she messed that up and I was charged. I called again, she apologized and said she could refund but that my payments would remain as a store credit. I said I did not want a store credit and wanted a refund. She said she would speak with her manager and get back to me. When she got back to me, I was told I would have to pay a $25 fee. For what I dont know, as the only reason I cancelled was because of their terrible service. She said she would credit my account and ended up charging me AGAIN - NOT A CREDIT! I have been calling and leaving messages for a week, Ive notified the corporate office and have been completely ignored. Stay away from this company, they dont actually care about their customers.

Ive been seeing Nicolette for over a year now and its about time I leave her a review! Ive always had good experiences here, the front desk folks are super sweet and attentive, the facilities are always clean, and Nicolette is a gem. Shes detailed, fast, and reasonably painless, plus shes a great human! I oddly look forward to getting all of my hairs ripped out each month just so I can catch up with Nicolette. Since day one shes made me feel super comfortable (even in uncomfortable positions) and shes a great conversationalist which keeps my mind occupied while she works! Honestly everything you could want in an esthetician!

I have been going to European Wax Center for the last 6 years and have been to a handful of offices in 2 different states. Nothing can compare to their wax and products. For the past year I have been going to the NW Portland location and what makes the experience even better is my waxer, Lakota. She is the best I have had yet and I have developed such a good relationship with her I wont see anyone else! She is always prompt to bring me back, quick and thorough with my appointments (which is so important in the bikini area!!!) and she remembers everything we talked about the last session and really makes me feel valued. I cant express how grateful I am for her and how much I love EWC! I would definitely recommend going here or at least stopping in to check out their products.

The best waxing experience ever. Clean, expert service, quick and painless! I have gone to Benmia twice now and she was incredible. She did a thorough job while at the same time it felt like my appointment flew by. Friendly and professional, she made me feel so relaxed that I felt like I was truly at a spa and I even forgot I was getting waxed--No pain, all gain. I’ve been coming here almost 4 years and only see one waxer (whom I won’t mention because I’m not trying to be mean.) anyways I recently had a baby and made an appointment to get waxed when I got the all clear to do so, I drank my wine as suggested and arranged a ride. I live 30minutes away so I left an additional 20 minutes in advance. I realized I was going to be a little late and they told me to come in. My appointment was at 1:30 I checked in at 1:40 and my waxer had already taken someone back. I waited for my waxer with no problem, she came out and said she wouldn’t see me. Some loyalty right? She said they have a 10minutes grace period. I checked in exactly 10minutes late and gave a heads up call and she still refused to see me. I took my new born out in the rain, drove 50 minutes and was told by my waxer of 4 years to see someone else. Smh. I tip her every time too, at least $10. They have no loyalty, it’s all about dollars and time for them. I miss my waxer in Miami because she was loyal and accommodating. They offered a reschedule but why would i? Now I’m in traffic heading to a different location. I work in customer service also and I go above and behind for my clients/customers. I refuse to be treated as poorly as I was treated today. No compassion or understanding whatsoever. I did call corporate to complain but they probably won’t do anything about it since she’s a popular waxer and all they care about is money, not making you feel valued. Smh all do to 10 minutes late for traffic I couldn’t control.

I went in for eyebrow wax / reshaping. I went to pay and it was free. They also got me in right away even though I did not have a reservation. They were pristinely clean and calm/professional demeanor. I will go back fo sure! Their pricing chart was #1 also.
