Our basement flooded a few weeks ago and after leaving our area rug outside to dry for a few days we realized that it was going to need professional help to get the smell/dirt out. The folks showed up, completely masked and got right to work after confirming exactly which carpets needed to be done. They also took a large area carpet to be cleaned and returned it on schedule beautifully done. Also gave us great advice on how to better vacuum our front hallway runner rug. From start to finish Alameda Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners were easy and professional to work with. I had two rugs cleaned, which I dropped off at their facility and schedules a couch cleaning. They returned my rugs to me free of charge the day they showed up to clean the couch. They walked me through each step, asked me qualifying questions about how they could best clean my couch (where is the dogs favorite spot to sit?) so they can make sure its as clean as possible. We needed a new rug treated with “microseal” and it was done so fast by such nice people! I haven’t spilled anything on it yet, so I cannot speak to that effectiveness. But microseal was recommended to us by the staff at “the whole 9 yards,” that wonderful upholstery fabric shop that closed recently when the owner retired. And I trust them to the moon. They recommended Alameda cleaners and I’m glad.

Heres a great one! Luke arrived and looked at my sofa only to be very honest and tell me that he would not be able to get it clean enough to make me happy spending so much to have it cleaned. Now, he could have easily done the job and say that was the best he could do and be on his way, but instead he had the integrity to be honest and recommend I put the money towards reupholstering or getting a new piece. Alameda gets 6 stars from me due to their values and caring about their customer and taking pride in their work. When anything needs to be cleaned we will use them and I will certainly recommend them.

I brought in a rug to be cleaned at Alameda Cleaners recently. It hadnt been cleaned in quite some time and had dirt and pet odors embedded pretty deeply within it.Amazingly, they were able to remove not only the odor, but bring out the original vibrant red color - which was so beautiful. (A nice surprise, as Id thought the rugs color was maroon for years!)It looks absolutely LOVELY. I also appreciated the gentle care they took when cleaning it. It belonged to my grandmother and so its quite old.I highly recommend Alameda Cleaners...they are an honest business and provide quality service. Very friendly people too!

Very great experience with this service provider. Our house hasn’t had a good carpet cleaning since we moved in about 8 years ago. Kids have spilled, thrown up, dirtied the carpet to make it from light beige to gray over the years. Well, it was time to get it cleaned! The scheduling was super easy, they asked for which rooms and what size you want cleaned. I had to re-schedule because painting was not finished inside. It was super easy and the person scheduling was so nice.They give you an email info of what to do and expect before carpet cleaning so you can be prepared. They call with a reminder and when the cleaners are on their way. Not only are they fast, efficient but the cost came out almost exactly to the estimate. The carpet looked so clean, almost like new! This company is great to deal with and I definitely will be calling them in the future.

Quick, economical since you can drop off an area rug and pick up when cleaned, straight forward about pricing and service. Only challenge is finding the place...it is a bit difficult to see the address, once you figure it out it makes sense when you return to pick up your area rug.

I purchased a used loveseat & couch, which didnt seem that used at first, though the longer I had them the more I could tell they would need a professional cleaning. Alameda Carpet was responsive with answering my calls and helping me to determine the best treatment for the furniture. It was definitely worth the money to hire a professional vs try to clean them using a store carpet cleaner, due to how soiled they seemed. I will definitely hire them again to clean my carpets in the future.

I have found Alameda Carpet to take care of a couch (i have a cat, fortunately no longer a kitten, which says it all) and Tibetan and more exotic rugs. These rugs bring memories to the surface and I appreciate the care they are giving AND the service of pick up and delivery. In the past Alamedahas cleaned two Tibetan rugs. Would I use them again if service is not satisfactory - nope - but their service and product met my too-critical expectations.

Ive used Alameda Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners twice in the past 5 years for my upstairs/stairwell carpeting and handmade wool and silk area rugs with fringe. Each time they have far surpassed my expectations. The upstairs required carpet stretching at year 5 and 10 and the results are great. I had the upgraded coating put on, which I definitely suggest. My carpeting looks almost brand new at 10 years.I opted to have them pick up and drop off the area rugs. The fringe came out very bright except on a lesser quality rug where some of the dye from the carpet bled (this did not happen with the higher quality rugs). The area rugs also look new again.Prices are competitive and they gave me a discount for bundling services. The workers whove arrived each time have been very courteous and professional. I will use Alameda in the future and highly recommend them.

Alameda Carpet Cleaners had been booked to clean the carpets of a rental home before new tenants arrived. About a week before they were scheduled, the state stay-at-home orders were initiated by the Governor. Despite this, they were gracious enough to fulfill the original commitment and get the carpets cleaned in the nick of time! These guys really ARE the BEST!! We had a huge project to do all the carpets, 13 area rugs (most of them very large), hardwood floors and upholstery in the 3000+ square foot house. (We had to disinfect everything from the ringworm fungus.) They were super busy at the time, but somehow, through heroic efforts, not only managed to get the whole job done inside of a week from the day I called them, but did a first-rate job! Men arrived exactly on time, explained cleaning, laid down protective tarp, lifted/set the couch on it and went right to work! Took exactly the hour they said it would, and when finished, they gathered their protective items, set the couch back where I have it and explained about drying. Great service and great work! I was very pleased with the results after receiving my cleaned sofa cushions. I had a new velvet sofa from RH and my cat threw up on it. Many places I called didn’t want to touch the job, but Alameda was able to return the cushions to an almost perfect condition. I can see a faint outline but that’s because I know where to look. No one else will ever notice. They were easy to communicate with and got my cushions done in just 2 days. Highly recommend!

Alameda carpet cleaning cleaned one of my mothers old and gray Persian rugs – 8 x 10 so it was very big – now it is gorgeous again. It had a huge wax spill and semi burn on it which they cleaned off perfectly. I was simply astonished by what a great job they did.

Very happy with the speed and quality of service. I had a red wine stain on an oriental carpet that I made worse using stain-remover-in-a-can (caused color bleed). Alameda was able to thoroughly clean the whole carpet including the stained area, which is totally undetectable now.

I took 2 oriental rugs in (1 a handmade Bukhara that needed some repair) for cleaning and had an excellent experience. I had some questions and the owner called back in short order. He answered my questions about the rugs and walked me through the several cleaning options. I recommend these folks.
