Had discussed and agreed on a place and price for them to pick it up.Then they could not find a driver for 2 days. I gave my friends the car to hold until the company was ready to pick it up. They were busy and werent able to pick it up so went elsewhere.

I called at 6:15. Asked if they had the parts i needed and was told no. Then he said he had them but didnt have anyone to pull the parts. Not a big deal but when your add online says your open till 8:30 and the guy on the phone says he cant help me because he didnt have the part but then chnages his answer and then hangs up the phone before asking if there was anything else he could help me with. Very rude and horrible customer service if you want my business then dont hamg up before im done talkimg and dont advertise hours your not actually open thats a big waste of my time your time. Horrible.

After reading many reviews, seems like many people are in the same boat. I put in a call to A-1 and was scheduled an appointment no later than noon. Once 12:00 rolled around no one showed up, put in multiple calls and they said the person would call me right back. Nothing back. Overall just an unprofessional experience, would recommend looking elsewhere.

I had an old running and driving Buick that I wanted to get rid of. Instead of calling the national chain junk car buyers I called A-1. They were very courteous, paid me a very fair price (which was a lot more than what the other junk vehicle websites that showed what they paid for cars were paying). Previously to contacting A-1 I had left my contact and vehicle information on two competitors websites but no one ever got back to me. You really should give A-1 a call to discuss your unwanted vehicle with you. These guys are a local company.

Do you have a lot of time to waste? Then by all means, call these jokers. I made two appointments for them to pick up my vehicle and they missed both. They didnt bother to call either. After calling a third time, a nice dispatcher (the only decent part of my experience) apologized and assured me that he would assign a different driver who would certainly show up. Unlike my other appointments, this was one after business hours but I stayed late in hopes that a later time would be the key to someone showing up. Nope! No call, no show. 3 times.Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times,..shame on you, me, and you again. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS BUSINESS!

Horrible customer service. I called to get a junk car picked up, they offered me $200 and said the driver would be calling me. Hours go by and the driver never calls. I call back and they give me the drivers number and tell me I have to call and arrange the pick up. Fine..whatever. I call and the driver tells me he wont pay the price quoted by his employees (which was a fair price and the same amount another place quoted.) I feel completely jerked around and the service was terrible.

Lady was extremely rude on the phone, ended up just saying bye and hanging up on me while i was in mid sentence.called right back to simply explain to her that this is probably a big reason why their rating is so low and she just ignored my calls.

Dont let the under new management sign fool you. The service is awful. I called about a $50 part on Monday at noon, they told me to call back on Tuesday and theyd get it ready. I called back Tuesday and was told Id receive a call right back after they checked on the status. I called back at 4pm because I hadnt heard a thing and left a message. Its Thursday and Im seriously confused why its so hard to give these guys my money for a part I can pull myself in 30 seconds. Dont waste your time on these people, go down the street to B&R. No runarounds there.

Although everyone I spoke to seemed very nice, I did not have a good experience with this company. I called and got a quote for my car, and then scheduled a pickup during my lunch break at work the next day. I was told I would get a call half an hour before they were due to show up. I didnt, so I called to confirm. Rob said he would call the truck driver to ask what was going on and call me back in 20 minutes, but didnt. I called the office a few times, texted the number that Rob had given to me and still received nothing. Finally, a few hours later, I received a text stating they were down a person and they were extremely sorry, and asked if I would reschedule for later that night. However frustrating, especially since, at this time, I didnt get a lunch break, I appreciated the communication, so I agreed and changed my plans around (again) to be able to be there. The time-frame they said they would be there came and I called to confirm because, again, I hadnt gotten a call. Rob said he would call the truck driver and call me back in 10 minutes, but again, I never got a call back. I called and texted, but nothing. I wasnt trying to be a pain and I get things happen, but communication would have been great. It was just an extremely unprofessional experience.

Twice they said they were coming to pick up my truck. Twice they did not show up . No call . No nothing. Dont waste your time with these clowns.

We set up a time for them to pick up our car, the guy rescheduled for later that night and then called again and told us he would be here at 9am. He never showed up or ever called again and now there is no answer and his voice mail is full and it is 2 days later. Good luck with this place!

Very nice on the phone but horrible follow through. We waited several times for missed appointments and when someone finally showed up they tried to offer $100 when we had agreed to $300.

The owner and employees where not knowledgeable, sold me a over priced engine that was worn out smoked leaked coolant and oil they claimed it was tested and they warranty it. they did not and i wanted more than any thing just to get my money back and return the engine but they would not honor that . they are dishonest crooks do not do business with them i want them to go outa business of screwing people!! also once i handed the cash over the employee gave money directly to owner he left got in his car and speed of like for a drug run i believe they were doing bad stuff spreed the word

These guys were really friendly, and even let me go into the yard and watch them remove the part I was buying so I would know how to put it on my vehicle.
