I went to Barrett Automotive to get a once over on my old Nissan truck. They were friendly and incredibly helpful. Not only did they finish earlier than expected but it cost me less than what they quoted. All around great shop. Would recommend and will definitely be going back for any automotive needs.

I tuned up my van, this did not solve my problem , so I decided to take my van to Barrets. They told me my van needed a tuneup. I told them I had just tuned it. They told me they could not guarantee the repair if they didnt tune it again. I need my vehicle so I said go ahead. Then less than 3000miles later. Its doing the EXACT same thing I took it there for, in the first place. I was called and told it would cost another $315.00. I need my vehicle so I said go ahead. After the repair and 3 sets of spark plugs( any backyard mechanic can replace everything until it works correctly. I thought I went to professionals) I went to pick up my van and was handed a bill for ANOTHER $444+. When i asked about the GUARANTEE. They told me to pay up or you wont get your vehicle back. BUYER BEWARE, THEY WILL LIE TO YOU, AND THE GUARANTEE MEANS NOTHING

Far exceeded my expectations in regards to quality of service, estimated cost and time.The parking brake cable had gone out on my 65 Chevy Corvair. I had ordered the part but was unable to install myself. After calling around to multiple repair shops, all I heard was either; they couldnt schedule me for a few months or they werent able to work on vintage cars (which puzzled me). Being that is was summer time, it was putting a real damper on cruising in a convertible.On a whim, we were walking by Barrett Automotive and decided to stop in to see if there was any chance they had time and were willing to work on an antique car. Within just a few minutes we had a time scheduled to have it worked on in the next few days.Upon pick up, they told me to keep an eye on the tension of the parking brake as sometimes it can be too tight or adjust a tad after installation and told me to bring it back on by and theyd be happy to make any needed adjustments.Overall, I was very pleased with the quality of service provided. They made it easy to schedule without having to wait months for a simple repair. They had the work done in less time than they had estimated and at a reasonable price.

Hello,I live in Cully and just bought an older Toyota Camry as our daughters first car, they helped me figure out what was needed and to assess any other issues to make sure everything was in working order .Rocky was helpful and I know I can come back and talk to him if I need anything. He’s personable and also a dad, so he understands the importance of the first car. I will have her bring it back here for routine work. They even finished the job quicker then expected. I like that this place is local, near my home, and I can reach out to them when I have a car question. It’s fairly priced and they don’t try to up sell you, they do the basics and a good job.

ATTITUDE! When they can’t fix your vehicle and they’ve already made you pay for two repairs that didn’t fix the problem, they get defensive and have major attitudes. Very unhappy with this place. I just gave up on them and am going to another mechanic now.They say they’ve been there for 77 years! Wouldn’t you think that they’d have a big clientele after so long??? Nope, because not many customers come back.

Ive brought my cars (Mazda, Hyundai, Honda) to Barrett for years and have always had friendly service. In that time Ive had major repairs, emergency repairs, and regular maintenance done. Always done right and on time, always priced fairly, and no upselling. I highly recommend this neighborhood shop.

Stopped here to have them look at my work van. The sliding door would not latch, and a big inconvenience for me. The guys took a look at it and messed with it for a bit. They fixed it on the spot for me. Saved me a lot of hassle. Any time in the future I need anything Ill be back.

Had a water leak. Went by Barretts to make an appointment. They diagnosed the problem (clogged windshield drains) and I was able to go home and make the repairs myself. Great guys. Thanks.
