We bought a 2007 Volvo S80 from Chris and drove it back to the California Bay Area. The car was in immaculate shape, cleaned, and detailed. Chris even did an oil change before we got there to prepare the car for our trip. Couldnt have asked for a better, more effortless long distance car purchase. Thank you Chris!

I have never left an auto shop feeling happier about the price paid for the services provided than when I left Eastside Swedish Motors today. Chris was extremely helpful, explaining prices and services and recommending priorities until I felt I completely understood what work would be done. Todays experience makes me feel excited to be a Volvo owner on the east side. Thank you so much!

Excellent service, no bull. I have a decent understanding of cars, but these guys know their stuff. No pushy sales, Chris was looking out for my wallet. Ill continue to bring my Volvo here for any service I cant do myself. Thanks for the professionalism and respect, it was a pleasure.

This is hands down one of the best shops I have had any of my cars serviced at. Chris is kind, knowledgeable and fair always. I leave with a smile and the confidence that the work performed on my car (97 Volvo 850R) is done right and done to the highest possible quality. I will be giving Eastside Swedish Motors my business for as long as I own my Volvo and proud to!! Thank you Chris and your crew that always make it happen:)

Really glad I found a honest and knowledgeable Volvo shop in the area. Chris was super helpful and gave me no BS recommendations on services that were needed and those that were nice to have, but not necessary at the moment. He even gave me an interior cargo piece that was missing on my 2006 Volvo wagon for free. Really appreciate Chris and this shop! This is now my Volvo shop.

Since the purchase of my current Volvo a few years ago I have been taking my car to Eastside Swedish Motors and I have never been disappointed. Chris always gets to the root of the problem in a timely manner and works to get things resolved without burning up your wallet. I love that I can call him and he knows me and my car by name. I wont take my Volvo anywhere else!

Have been very pleased with Chris the owner on his customer skills, he takes the time no matter how busy he is to explain the problem and options to approach it. Don the mechanic impressed me with his knowledge and experience, a good mechanic will save you money in the long run. I have a PVC system replacement coming up and I cant think of anybody Id rather have do it then these guys.

Update 3/11/2019: its been a year and a half since I had my entire PCV system replaced. When I was working on my car back in January, I noticed a lot of oil coming out of various parts in the engine. Oil pan seals, oil cap, lots of oil built-up dripping down into the spark plugs causing it to stall, pretty much oil was leaking from everywhere. When I checked the pressure coming from the engine, it had excessive pressure building up. When I took it to a different shop to see what it was, they told me my PCV system needed to be replaced. I told them I had that done within the last year, so they took it apart to check and showed me that it was done very poorly. The hoses where held together by zip ties and oil was leaking from all the connections. The ports to the engine where the oil travels was also clogged with gunk contributing to the problem. I saw this myself. I had ARD fix it, and my car no longer leaks oil, and doesnt have and pressure building up in the engine. Also, I had the lower engine mount installed. When I was replacing my struts back in November, I noticed the same engine mount had become extremely loose and was rattling aroind. I tightened it down and its OK now. Not cool at all Eastside Swedish Motors. Your work is lazy at best causing me issues.Old review from July 2017:So far the best Volvo shop around. Ive been looking for a reliable, honest mechanic for years. Finally found them. Chris and everyone else who work in the shop do a fantastic work and go out of there way to help you out! All for a good price too! Thanks guys!
