I have been residing here for 1 year and it is an feel home like experience in this 1 year. the apartment is secure and spacious to live. The management people here is friendly to address all your questions/concerns (I mostly worked with Nathan and Lindsay). Also all our maintenance requests are addressed properly and timely manner. I would love to extend my stay here until my project gets over.

I have lived here for about 10 years. Its quiet, its clean and the tenants are really nice. The staff are very nice people and they treat you like family. Everyone smiles and interacts with the tenants and our comfort is their main concern. Its an honor and a privlidge to live and work with people who are not just all about the money.

My boyfriend and I have lived at Princeton Pines for 3 1/2 years! We love it here. Having access to a gym and pool makes everything better. The office staff and maintenance staff are so wonderful and helpful. If you have any issues with anything- they are here to help! They get everything taken care of in such a timely fashion! We wouldn’t want to live anywhere else and we highly recommended Princeton Pines! (living at the Princeton Pine location we are allowed to have two cars- such a wonderful parking arrangement!)

Stayed here for almost 2 yrs and the experience was not good. While most of the apartment staff were nice but Timothy(Tim) was particularly rude, non customer centric and never acknowledges problems that we approached with. As per him every darn issue is acceptable. We had 2 lease terms and switched units twice. The units are very old, not well maintained. Our unit had damp walls during the winters which led to fungus and mould. Luckily we were leaving Maine and hence didnt had to tolerate much. The other problem is lease term have Blackout period clause, which is not good for people with transferable job. This is the only place in US where i found there is no lease buy out clause, usually its 2 months rent. They force you to pay for the entire lease duration. Crazy.

Dang Princeton Properties you got me speechless. My boyfriend and I moved into these apartments in October of 2015. We were in a basement floor unit. Not only did they give me an apartment filled with water, but, failed to mention that the previous tenant had to leave because of the same problem. So most of my possessions are ruined from all the water, moisture, and mold. How did they fix the problem? By giving us a dehumidifier and painting over the mold and calling it good. If health and safety ever found out about that, theyd be out of a job. They wanted us to sit tight and wait until a new unit was open 2 months from now, to only charge us an additional $75 for a 2 bedroom apartment that we dont need. Which, by the way, is in another bottom floor unit. We were only there THREE MONTHS before we broke our lease, You almost had me fooled, Princeton Properties. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Okay back in 2014 me and my fiance were looking at this place, had a showing and everything. LOVED ITTTTTT. I ended up moving to Cali, with our daughter for a little. Now that were back, and have been for months I called. Before we had no problem with the affordable housing, Now I called and the lady seemed NOT AT ALL up to date about anything there.. must have been new. I am still interested, seeing how we are still searching and we are now expecting our second child this Christmas. Trying again.. hopefully will have some luck......

Worst leasing company, they do not take care of their tenants. Buildings are constantly without hot water and they only compensate some of the tenants...not everyone who suffers will be compensated, and you will suffer. They are unprofessional and never respond to service requests or emails or phone calls. Walls are paper thin so hopefully you enjoy what the neighbors are watching. Also get ready for the bugs! These places are infested with ants, beetles and especially spiders. Princeton Pines is the last place I would ever want to live.

The 2-3 years that my roommate and I were there was decent at best. We lived in the back (K building) so it was dark when we had to get into our cars. We complained to Princeton Pines many times to have it fixed and they said they would look into it. Guess what? Months went on with no reply. We eventually called the public utilities of Portland but they told us that since the light pole was on Princetons property, Princeton would need to contact them and they would not send a service tech out based on a tenants complaint.Someone eventually had to pay and had their possessions stolen out of their car when we stayed there. Other tenants left notes near the mailbox to warn people that because of the dim lit parking lot, thieves were targeting the back lots.Relayed that message to Princeton Pines and same reply: well look into it. After we moved out, the light pole still had not been fixed and this was 2 years later.A few weeks after we moved out, they said theyre keeping our security deposit. Their reason: we had some kind of animal or pet that tore up a section of the carpet. Yes, there was a small tear in the carpet, but it had been there when we moved in. Lesson learned: take as many pictures pre-move in of your apartment and everything inside. Any flaws or paint chips, ripped carpet, peeling counters, etc.My roommate and I never had pets, and we practically lived on campus with the amount of studying we had to do.Short summary: Princeton is slow to respond or worse doesnt respond at all to any requests you make. They will call you liars and take your security deposit so they can put in new carpet.Would not recommend Princeton at all, and that includes Princeton at Back Cove.Another thing, when you do request repairs, they will just come into your apartment even if youre not home. I had requested on many occasions for them to call before coming to be sure we had someone at home and they ignored that request. Had huge muddy shoe marks on our floors and carpet.
