I just started doing classes a couple weeks ago. I will not lie I really enjoy the class because I feel good after the class.I will face up that on tuesday I signed up for the 6:30 evening class. I was a couple minutes late ( literally ran in at 632) and I will own up to that. But when I walked in to sign in, the front desk said that they accidentally over booked due to a computer issue. I dont know if that was true or not ( or she gave my spot to another person that was waiting) , but either way I was okay because the girl said that she would refund me for the class. That evening I checked and I didnt see my refund. Instead I see an additional charge for $10 and titled late cancel, and still no refund for that class. I emailed no answer, Called left a voicemail no answer. I do have a class at 6 I will be going to today and will be speaking to someone about this issue.*****UPDATEI wanted to update, when I went to my class on Thursday. I got a refund with no questions asked. I am happy about it because I really enjoy the workouts.

Second post: Reducing my rating by a star down to 2 because twice in a week Ive gone during posted business hours and the front door has been locked. First time, I think they left for food, and the second time, I think they were participating in a fitness class. Both times I stood in the cold for 20 minutes before the door was reopened. Unprofessional.First post: The new open gym area has insufficient heating and is freezing in this weather. I hope this changes soon. Wish they had better hours on the weekends too.

If you are looking to elevate your fitness Elevate Fitness is the place to get your sweat on. The music is spot on and the versa Climbers are unforgiving . The coaches are all encouraging and they make 30 minutes go by quickly.

I have so far only taken one class here but I had a very positive experience.I signed up for a first class free. There is on street parking but no meters to pay so thats nice. There is a coat rack and lockers for your belongings. There is a bathroom, but I was not made aware of a room to change if there is one. This place is probably not for everyone. Im in pretty good shape and it kicked my butt. From appearances, I believe I was the oldest student there. Im 48 and everyone else was definitely under 30. So if youre allergic to millennials, stay away (just kidding). Its like a spinning class except on a versa climber. Much like spinning, you have to resist the urge to stop and run out of the studio. You want to stop so bad, but you just cant because youre not a quitter. The instructor did a great job of explaining everything as many of us were new. There was a live DJ for my class which I really enjoyed. On the second to last song, the instructor walked around while we just did what I would call the basic climb technique. He gave a Rocky level inspiring speech that helped push us to the end. Much like spinning, there are some variations that you can do on the climber. And you can alter the resistance, but even on the lowest setting it was difficult. I could see the displays on the machines of the kids around me, and Im proud to say that I burned more calories than any of those whipper snappers. My only negative is that I found the room too warm even before we started. Probably from classes happening all morning and built up body heat. Im a sweater-- so I sweated a lot! They did provide towels. There is a bottle filling water fountain available.I did feel like this is a place for hip young Lawrenceville residents, and Im none of those things. Plus, its a bit out of my price range for a membership. I would like to buy a class pass however and work it into my fitness regime a few times a month. You should definitely at least give it a try. You might just get hooked. Even though I wanted to quit the whole time I was on the machine, I felt amazing when it was done.
