Thieves. Hacks. Physical threats. Damage to property. My experience with this place was a nightmare. 5 months later I walked away with %80 of the planned work incomplete. Parts stolen from me. All the money I gave them up front was not returned. Crook without a conscience. Did me real dirty to my face with even blinking

Worst ever. The owner messed up my car so bad that I had to trade it in. The EPC light was on and he told me not to worry about it

1 Star Automotive. Shadiest mechanic Ive ever met- Grimey is an understatement. Do not deal with this guy- no matter what. He went downhill fast- and now Karma going to take over. Take this as a warning. Not minor issues- guy will put u and ur family endanger. if you ignore this warning then see for yourself.

I would highly recommend Star Automotive, especially for American muscle cars. They upgraded the exhaust on my 1972 Roadrunner and did a terrific job at a very reasonable price. Best place in Pittsburgh.

I am as happy as the first time I met my wife! Before a few hours ago, I was about to take on the debt and bad investment of buying a new car. This is because another mechanic had quoted me $1,700 to fix my car (approximately the value of my car if I were to sell it on Craiglists). Star fixed my car for $350 - they are able to do this at a lower price because they have special tools for bending pipes and this meant they didnt have to get a part from Honda that costs $700.00. Also, I was impressed by how warmly and with humor they interacted with their customers - these are good guys!

This company is a hack!!! After having extensive rebuild 2-years ago on a 1950 Dodge Truck This company has no idea of what he is doing. I am still taking truck to other qualified mechanics to have the truck repaired and made road worthy. If I could give no stars I would.

Get all types of automotive work done here. All the stuff others dont want to do. High performance work, cam and head packages, restoration work,frame repair, custom exhaust, engine and transmission swap, and even the basic state and emissions!!!

Totally transformed my 2002 Camaro SS. Amazing work and easy to communicate with during the process. The prices were affordable and the turnaround time was excellent. I would definitely recommend them for all your automotive needs. Please check them out. You wont be disappointed.

2 of the reviews posted our totally wrong the one who says about we dont know what were doing on the 80 dollars was charged to put his supplied part on his car wich was wrong and charged him 80 for labor and put his own part back on. then he stopped payment. And the other review was a dodge truck that he brought to us and he didnt have the money to finish it and couldnt finish due to lack of money from customer so he pulled it out along with the wheels and tires he never paid me for with a cost of over 1000 dollars and sum.

Great mechanics. Took my car there to get a stage 2 kit installed. Havent had a single problem with it and my car is MUCH faster. Highly recommended

Jeff and his team at Star Automotive and Performance is the place to go if you want your vehicle fixed correctly the first time. My 1994 Corvette developed all of the common oil leaks associated with a C4 Corvette and some that were not common at all. After having several dealerships fail to correct the problem areas I brought my car to Jeff at Star Automotive. Jeff assured me that he would treat my car as if it were his own baby and that is exactly what he did.In no time at all he had all the leak areas repaired, and I was back on the road for a very reasonable price.Star Automotive is a five bay shop that can handle the most difficult repairs and still tend to your daily automotive needs..I will definitely be a repeat customer and highly recommend his services to all.

Jeff and his crew did an outstanding job with the build of my 1951 Willys wagon. It was a complete restoration with new chassis fabrication, engine, transmission, and rear-end installation. Thanks to him, the Willys has taken first place in every show that it has been on display. I would highly recommend Star Automotive & Performance to anyone wanting a perfectly completed build and will definitely use them again!!!

Took my Kia in with no appointment and just a small wait time. Installed 2 stainless steel flex pipes to existing exhaust system in about an hour! My exhaust system was already stainless steel except the flex pipes and just replacing those saved me hundreds over other shops that just wanted to replace the front exhaust system. Thanks!!!

This guy is complete rip off took my 2010 camaro ss to get new heads and cam took him 2 months to finish and when I go to pick it up there a guy outside waving a gun talking about drugs my wife was with me she was very scared.The guy that had the gun said that Jeff ripped him off on some drugs so please take my advise stay away drug activity
