Aloha Arizona Residents. I have now filed 2 Cases of Elder Abuse with Adult Protective Services. The first case is closed as the Investigator could not find the perpetrator. The second case is still being investigated. Regardless of the outcome I am very grateful for this Service. If nothing else my abuse is being investigated. Thank you Arizona! I work EMS and have had run ins with them in the past some are caring folks and some are not. Keep working on getting better.

While caring for my mother when she was dying they showed interest. After about 2 weeks thier agent simply asked me. Your a loving son caring for a dying parent. Is there anything I can do for you ?

I am highly disappointed in how APS handled the complaint i filed toward a nursing facility where my sister was receiving care. I made setback calls to follow up on the complaint and never received any call back. My biggest complaint is the information APS collected and reported was not the information i submitted to the complaint. I was fortunate to find this out because of the follow call that was made to another agency.Are adult protective service workers getting away with unsubstantiated reports because they are half way doing their job? I would hate for families not to have closure of elderly individuals not get the help they need because a worker decides they do not want to do their job.If the individual does not have someone who can advocate for them, They will and do not know what is happening with their case. In my situation, not only was the wrong information investigated, it was also reported that the worker was on medical leave. While she was on leave her cases sat on her desk. The supervisor was not aware of what was happening to her cases, therefore, he had no idea of what was happening to the individuals who are alleged abused.

Im shocked and stunned by the failure of AZ Adult Protective Services to investigate a situation I outlined for Camille Espinosa. Not sure what you all are up to but I know this isnt right. Puts the individual in question and our neighborhood at serious risk due to criteria unknown.

This is the worse place ever, they dont advocate for the senior they advocate for themselves. The supervisior lied to me about police calls and about how the adult was taken care of, I think she should lose her job, if she had done her job months ago a death and a hospital placement would not have happen

They threatened me with HAZ MAT to clean my house. I cleaned it and now they wont stay out of my life! Theyre threatening my finances, control of my home, and detainment. Dont allow them in your home if you really dont need their services.

TOTAL GOVERNMENT FAILURE. Over 30 min on phone to report a serious case of adult abuse and the morons working can not get it straight. This needs to be privatized.

What a waste of time. Its a shame that the government doesnt care about our aging senior citizens.
