I had every intention of giving Roys 5 stars. They had diagnosed a vehicle of mine after the car was stolen and found not running. Unfortunately, insurance took two weeks to finally deny the claim. I profusely apologized for wasting of their time, but I ultimately decided to have the car fixed at the dealer under warranty. I had taken the car to Roys believing insurance would pay for the damage and I had wanted to give the work to a local mechanic and not a dealer. Roys left my vehicle entirely pulled apart for the towing company to pick up. They left the battery sitting on my leather seats with parts in the front seat, back seat and rear. After diagnosing the fuel pump had gone bad, they left the battery out, air filter out, transmission disconnected, nuts and bolts on rags and other parts strewn throughout the vehicle. The tow truck driver also reported the shop as being extremely rude while picking up the car. I do understand their frustration, but it is in poor taste and unacceptable to leave a vehicle in this manner. I would never use this shop again.

Been taking our car dealerships more difficult projects here going on 15 years. These guys are the best in the business. They do it all from Pre-Purchase inspections to oil changes and engine work. Thanks guys!

Ive been getting basic oil changes and other auto upkeep at Roys for just over 2 years now. I honestly dont have a single complaint about any service we have had from them. Friendly staff, fast service, and better prices then at any Honda service center.

Very professional. Very nice. Fixed my problem after someone else got it all wrong. You need a good mechanic if you havent found one yet these are your guys. They also are very reasonable.

Weve been going to Roys Auto for a few years now, and are very happy with them. Theyre honest and their prices reflect that. They tell you what work has to be done today, and what work can wait. Weve had them inspect cars were looking to buy, and they tell us not to buy cars that they know will require immediate repairs or makes/models they know require more than usual maintenance/repairs... the exact thing that would mean more money in their pockets, yet they tell me not to buy it. Shows they really care about their work and customers, I highly recommend this shop!

Took in the company vehicle. Got it in and right back out close to the time estimated. Didnt get a laundry list of are you kidding me. Did find a couple of items to watch for. Gotta love preventative maintenance.

David, the current owner and son of the previous owner, is always very polite and welcoming. I have taken my car here for the last 10 years. I live in Tucson and I will drive it down to Phoenix to Roys at all costs for repairs. David and his team ALWAYS do an excellent job, they never try to upsell anything. ROYS WAS RECOMMENDED by one of their loyal customers. I was afraid I needed brakes. Meeting Dave was a great experience. He conveys a feeling of confidence. He took my keys and got to work. A half hour later he showed me the gauge which put my brakes in the safe zone. He changed my oil and discovered that the drain plug needed to be replaced it with a new one 7 I will not take my car anywhere else.Bob F.

Honest. They use quality parts, have reasonable prices and warranty their work. I know if they tell me it needs to be fixed, it does. I have had another shop tell me my vehicle needed a brake job. I took it to Roys and was told the brakes were fine. They could have easily agreed and sold me a brake job. We have been bringing all our vehicles here for several years now. Also, each time you pay for a repair they load 5% back onto a Roys gift card. You can use it next time or keep saving it up for future repair discounts.

One of the lead mechanics there is Matt, who knows the intricacies of the components and functional workings of vehicles in every manner. He is the most knowledgeable and skilled mechanics I have ever encountered , and I will drive the extra miles to have him do my repairs because he always goes the extra mile to do a perfect job and succeeds at a very fair price.

These guys are real, straight up and honest. I have been a customer for years and I have no intention of ever taking my vehicles anywhere else. The trust you build with your mechanic is important and these guys get it right, every time.

This shop and another on down the street both quoted me thousands of dollars for a job that only cost me $800 and my truck is running fine. Be warned ladies.

Again, notice how more of the recent reviews are negative due to a recent protest that had occurred on Tuesday on Cave Creek Rd in Phoenix. These buisness owners were only protecting their buisnesses from any belligerent protestors. Please, do not believe any of the hateful comments these people leave about any of these buisnesses, as they are absolutely erroneous.

I am taking my car in today to make sure everything is okay with it. I havent had any services done there yet, but I am giving it 5 stars because the customer service is AMAZING and I love that it is so close to my house. They offer to give you a ride home which isnt common. The gentleman I spoke to was more worried about making sure my car was top priority over his paycheck. I cant wait to do business with you.

Rude. Unprofessional. Had to take it back a second time, they didn’t take it serious. Had to take it somewhere else to get it fixed. Absolutely will not use this company again or recommend them to anyone ever.

Went in, they checked out my truck and told me right away what the problem was and were going to order the new part from Ford. Part came, I got a call and took my truck in and they fixed up in less than an hour! Super fast service and great communication from David and his Team!

Love this place for car maintenance

I have been taking my cars and trucks to Roy’s for at least 10 years. David and his team have always been friendly, honest and timely. They have given me great advice and service again and again. I will never take my vehicles any where else. It is comforting to know that a local business is still committed to doing things the old fashions right way.

The people here are awesome. Their always friendly, helpful, honest, and do their best to take care of your problem. Unlike some other places Ive gone they dont try to suck all your money outta your pocket. They dont tell your things need to be replaced if they dont. Roys Auto is a first rate place to take your vehicle for repair or maintenance. Ive been taking my vehicles there for about ten years now and Ive never experienced a repair failure or misdiagnosis. Theyve even taken my car through emissions testing for me when I couldnt figure out why it wouldnt pass. In thirty years of trying to keep my older cars legal, theyre the only shop Ive ever had do that. Prompt and trustworthy. Couldnt ask for more.

Fix our car right and for cheap

My father was out here visiting me from Missouri last week. He wanted to help me out and change the serpentine belt in my car by himself so that I could save money and not worry. He ended up breaking the tensioner, so we had to have the car towed to a mechanic. On the referral of a friend, I chose Roys. We called and they quoted us a price for labor, and told us we could bring the parts (my dad had purchased them from Autozone). We arrive, check in, and go outside when the manager, Josh, comes out and tells us they cant use our bought parts. We explained he had told us otherwise on the phone, to which he said nothing, and that the owner wont do the work because he cant warranty it. My dad asked to speak with the owner. He explained the situation nicely and the owner was unbelievably rude, even walking away from my dad to take a phone call during the conversation! He ended his conversation with my dad by walking away saying, Whatever. They begrudgingly agreed to do the work. I called my friend to tell her what happened, then she spoke with them herself. They told her they couldnt believe this happened, that the owner would be there to personally apologize in the morning when I picked up my car and that he would give me a free membership card for my trouble. I arrived that next morning to no apology and no card. Thank goodness my car works. People deserve to be treated better.

Roys auto went above and beyond. My motor home had a problem and I took it into Rors. They found the problem and found that the problem was still under warranty. They called ford for conformation, and called me. Ford had it towed to their garage. Roys had me leave it there until the tow truck retrieved it. Thank yo Roys for great service.
