Their system for reporting the results of an inspection is very user friendly and the results are sent to me immediately with pictures, detailed notes, and a green, yellow or red rating indicating severity. Outstanding service. These folks helped solve an unsolvable long-distance problem, and I cant be grateful enough. I had an old Lincoln I had bought that I had been trying to get transported from Scottsdale to Indiana for the better part of two and a half years. The car was inoperable, the sellers home was up in the mountains of Scottsdale, with a winding driveway that a carrier couldnt get back into far enough to collect the car, NOBODY wanted to go up there after it, AND nobody in Scottsdale wanted to work on a car as old as this Lincoln.I finally went looking for mechanics in Phoenix who worked on older cars, and using great reviews as a guide, I landed on Martins. They not only agreed to look at the car, but recommended a good tow vendor who DID go up to Scottsdale and haul the car down for me, which was the critical first step. Babes All City Towing was the company they recommended, and they were outstanding.Trying to manage a repair / transport in that area, from over 2,000 miles away had been a total nightmare up to then, but in under a DAY, their mechanics had the car running and ready, and the pricing was more than reasonable. It wound up waiting a few weeks for carrier transport scheduling, but they were good enough to harbor the car for the time I needed, until dispatch could be arranged. SUCH good people. Bo was fantastic to work with, and Martins was the next-to-last step in finally getting that car home after all that time and trouble. If youre in this area, dont hesitate to look them up.

Did an incredibly thorough inspection of a truck I was looking to purchase from out of state. Told me everything I needed to know about the inspection with a full inspection report that was emailed to me. Mechanic took the time to go over the report in depth with me and answer all my questions. He even did a valuation for me. Peace of mind! Highly recommended! Professional and courteous!

Ive been bringing my vehicles to Martins Auto Repair for over 20 years, and Im always satisfied with the dedicated time put into analyzing the issues that I may be having. My most recent visit was for a basic check-up, and to check my front struts that were leaking on my 1996 Ford Windstar Van. I received an estimate and they made all the necessary repairs. Their friendly customer service is also worth mentioning, and that is why I never hesitate to call Martins Auto Repair whenever I have an issue with my vehicle. This was my first visit but wont be my last. Had to have my car towed and they had a company that I was able to just add to my bill. So convenient. Not only did they do a great job on the car they emailed me a report letting me know other things complete with pictures. No other company has ever shown me pictures. I was able to add a few extra things and still pick up my car at our agreed time. Very friendly and I did not feel like they were trying to take advantage of me. I sorta knew what was wrong with my car and other mechanics tried to tell me otherwise to charge more. So I thank you very much and you earned you a returning customer.

I’m so excited to have found an auto repair shop I can trust! They have worked on my vehicle several times now, and I am very pleased. They always inspect it and send me a very detailed, easy to read report that outlines their recommendations, but never exert any pressure to do any repairs. I needed to get an older vehicle diagnosed and repaired in a very short period of time during the COVID pandemic. The folks at Martin’s found the primary issue plus some other items. They gave me the information I needed to make a decision on what to have repaired. The pictures and explanations they provided were so helpful. I asked them to just fix the primary issue and they did. On time and on budget. They had great customer service and communicated with me during the process. I can’t recommend them enough. Martin’s is so great! Great service and very communicative. They updated me throughout the day so I knew exactly when my truck would be done. Sarah at the front desk explained stuff clearly and thoroughly (I know nothing about auto mechanics). They’re honest and good at helping me prioritize what work needs to be done at what time. They have an inspection list that ranks the repairs and maintenance you may need. Never pushy sales people and never making me feel bad for not knowing what I’m talking about. I thought I was hearing a noise while driving and someone came out to take a quick test drive with me to see if he could hear it. They really go the extra mile! They were so busy the day I dropped off my truck and they were still done within the working day! Amazing!

First let me say Im sure this shop is very capable of diagnosing and repairing vehicles. In fact I was impressed with there diagnostic methods and documentation. They actually trouble shoot and test components instead of relying solely on scanning codes. My grip with them is they charged my mother $518.41 to replace one drivers side ABS wheel speed sensor on her 2012 F150. I know the price includes a steep diagnostic fee. But the truck was throwing a C1155 code for that specific wheel and sensor and really it does not take long to check continuity and resistance in a circuit. Also, it only takes about 30 minutes to access and replace the sensor. I know Ive done it on my own F150 of the same model. The OEM part itself ranges from $80 to $115 depending on where you order from and is readily available. I could understand a bill for $200 or $250 but $518 is straight gouging. There are no two ways about it! My mother is an older lady and I feel somewhat vulnerable in these situations. After I heard what she had spent on the repair I confronted the shop and the lady at the counter really couldnt justify the cost other than saying the part was expensive which as stated earlier only made up about a fifth of what they charged . I know its not my truck, but I thought others should at least be aware.

I have taken my car to Martins since I moved to the area in 1995. I started working at a law firm in Phoenix and one of the partners at that firm recommended them to me. They are so great especially for women. They never leave you stranded. I trust them and I never take my car to a dealer. Martins has the same staff they had in 1995. That tells you something! I was very pleased with the work and professionalism displayed by Martins Auto repair. They kept me up to date throughout the process and provided me a loaner vehicle whilemy vehicle was beingworked on. They even discovered another issue from some previous work I had done. Came here a few days ago to fix an issue with the cooling system in my car. I was surprised that the job was done in just a few hours even though they seemed to be quite busy. I appreciated the thorough report they did on the issue along with pictures. They even show other issues you might not be aware of with pictures too. Martins is an upstanding business that presents the facts, and only charges you for what you ask.

First I know NOTHING about car maintenance so I’m very skeptical about car service shops. After reading many reviews I decided to give Martin’s a shot. I came in with a 2015 Honda Fit with a hundred thousand miles on it and have since had Martin’s shop service it every 5,000 miles so I’m six services in due for number seven at 135 thousand. My intuition is that this shop is honest and straight up again being inept about car maintenance this is a hard review forme to write. What I can say is that my car feels aligned and tight all the way through between services and I haven’t had a problem between services. This shop has three loaner cars and have used them when needed. Martin’s also has the decency of giving their employees the full weekend off they are closed Saturday and Sunday’s and that says ‘rest assured’ in my book. There’s a real father and son feel to thisplace. Young and middle age men that seem to have a mechanical bond and do what they do because it’s an important passion. In in for the long hall here. We are happy to bring our senior 13 y/o Chrysler and our newer 4 y/oTundra to Martins for servicing.They keep a computerized log of all repairs, and they are up front with what maintenance or repairs are needed to do first for your safety and what can be delayed.Last summer, they were kind enough to take my Chrysler 300C in for emissions testing after they replaced the fuel injection. And off course, it passed emissions.Martins has a nice waiting room and everyone there is very friendly. When they can, they will bring you home. Or you can visit many good restaurants within walking distance.We are looking forward to many safe miles on the road.

Martins is a top tier shop! I was referred to them by ADEQ for emissions failure on my 26 yr Blazer. Amazingly professional from front to back. They not only fixed her up, they took her to emissions for me and she blew numbers like brand new. They are now my permanent and only shop.

Martins Auto Repair does great service!!! I have yet to be dissatisfied with their work or service. They have now worked on 2 cars for me; my previously car a 1999 Chrysler LHS and kept it running great. So needless to say that I had no problem taking my 2012 Lincoln MKZ to them for repairs.They take very good care of their clients. My vehicle went in for one issue and came out with several malfunction, including my engine now smoking.Also, when I received the diagnosis list of all “problems” they found on my vehicle, some of them mention repairs I did already with a very trustworthy mechanic friend from my hometown (miss him). As an example, they (Martin’s employee’s) diagnose my radiator and my alternator as, “Original OAM (manufacturer’s), needs replacement soon”. Well, guess what! I had change my alternator 3 times (including recently, not long ago) and my radiator I change it twice! (I had this card for over 15 years. Was aiming to be scammed if I did not know mechanics and be so proactive about my car! PERHAPS! Now, the part that they did “repair” was made with an after market part (which seems this place run with) but also was not place were the original part belongs! Of course, it is an after market part! causing the change of the original lay out of my engine! ( The part was fixes to the outer part where the original part was, now it’s exposed and vulnerable to break again, plus new holes had to be done to attached the part. 3rd: They tried to charge me for a service I did not authorize nor condone...What’s wrong with you people!!!!Sloppy, Bad, AND POOR QUALITY OF WORK AND MANAGEMENT! (Forgot to mention the poor costumer service at the phone)My advise: STAY AWAY FROM THIS MECHANIC SHOP!!!! Phoenix has three things in excess: Barbershops, Starbucks aaaand MECHANIC SHOPS! Tons of them!!! Don’t settle for poor service and possible scams!That’s my personal advice and review.Have a great day everyone, stay safe.

I have a 1993 Toyota T-100 which has a rough idle, rich fuel issue preventing me from passing emissions. Over the past year Ive brought my truck to many shops and spent hundreds of dollars in an effort to identify the source of the problem. Although I have a very high mechanical aptitude and have even worked on my truck myself, I do not have the diagnostic equipment and knowledge to extrapolate the data aquired by that equipment. Been going here about a year. The guys are super fair and knowledgeable. Prices are never a shock. They seem to actually care about your vehicle. They are honest too. Which is why I will never go anywhere else. ( Been jerked around and ripped off by others) they straight up told us the cost to fix my husbands suspension on his car was more than the car was worth. They could have easily tried to push him. They changed all of my belts and hoses....A month later I had a squeak, no idea what it was, took it in. They called me and told me they just had to adjust one of the belts. I didnt even think about. They didnt try to charge me and say it was something else. I love Martins.

The customer service was excellent. They were friendly and professional. Im not originally from Arizona and sense I been here Im from the south and they gave me good old southern hospitality.

Problem-free drives to the hospital, thanks to Martins Auto RepairMy son was scheduled to stay with me this summer while he waited for a heart transplant. I took my car in and told Martins staff that we would be driving back and forth daily from central Phoenix to the Mayo Hospital in NE Phoenix, including the day my son would be notified that he needed to come in within a couple of hours because Mayo had what appeared to be a good match for his transplant. I asked the staff to check for anything that could possibly go wrong with the car, so that mechanical problems would not delay us. Not surprisingly, they did an excellent job -- the car worked perfectly and my son received a heart (that part thanks to a generous donor family).

Love these guys! Sure you can pay a little less but these guys have saved me money by their honesty. Ive been going here for many years. These are good honest Christian man for excellent at their jobs. Ive never had to redo any of their work as Ive experienced at lesser shops.

The quality of service in the attention to detail of my needs and what my vehicle needed without having to go overboard was exemplary.
