Theyre good people.If youre comparing this property with others on your research list then I assume you already know what youre looking for with location and amenities and such for an apartment. All I can say to persuade you on choosing this place is that the staff here are phenomenal from leasing to maintenance.I was here a bit before the pandemic ramped up, I lived here through the pandemic, and I lived here recently while watching the numbers going down. Throughout the entire time they handled things very professionally and in a down to earth understanding manner, especially when some people were losing jobs left and right or youd never know who was getting sick.They do their best to work with you and your situations. They are very easy to reach out to and quick to communicate for any issues with your apartment. The bottom line is I would gladly rent here again in the future because we all know what its like to rent at the perfect apartment while dealing with the worst staff.These people are nothing like that. Theyre good people, and that makes a big difference with the place you choose to call your home.Good luck on your apartment search and if you choose to live here I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did.

The staff is wonderful here. I really appreciate Patty and Kristi. Patty really goes over and beyond to help. Their professionalism is superb. Theyve made it really easy to help assist. Especially, since I became handicap. I feel safe here as entering and exiting isnt the same for a person to just drive in the gate and out because if they drive in and dont have a key to get out they have to wait until someone else/security clicks them out that was not supposed to drive in the first place by following other cars which could make it harder for crime to happen. There is security that drives around. Landscaping is kept up and neighborhood is quiet.

Beyond a doubt the best apartments I have ever lived. The community is quiet and friendly. The staff is very present and extremely helpful. Security is very attentive. A couple times I went to get stuff from my car late at night. He stopped by to say hello or to make sure he recognized me. Maintainance is incredible and fast. They had to replace a light unit in our kitchen and did so very quickly. The front office always has smiles on and makes you feel welcomed. Patty and Kristi are always knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. The pool by the office is actually heated to a comfortable temperature all year round.

Ive had an incredible experience at Sierra Grande. I have found it to be both affordable and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and professional. On top of that, maintenance is very responsive, and they do a wonderful job keeping the complex in great condition. I highly recommend Sierra Grande if youre searching for an apartment.

Lived here for my final year of college and cannot stress how much of a godsend these apartments were. The staff was always responsive and friendly, maintenance was fast and effective, the price was reasonable, and the complex is beautiful and has a very good location. Icouldnt have asked for a better experience.

Due to circumstances with money and a recent divorce I had to move into an apartment with my 13 year old daughter. for the first time since I was 18 i had to live in an a apartment and I was very skeptical I signed short term for only 9 months. It felt strange and I was worried of its safety for my daughter but the day I found this accomplex I was greated by the office kristi , patty and the Manger lauree they gave me hope and introduced me to my new home. While living here I noticed the care and attention the office gave my daughter they made sure she was safe and even remembered little details like her birthday. Even the maintance people know her. Alejandro and John where very kind and helpful They would recognize my daughter and I and say hello. For instance john was in the middle of a project and I had to pick up my daughter early in the morning with my delivery truck from work. John noticed the truck and it wasnt familiar to him and he noticed my daughter walking to it so he dropped everything and followed my daughter to make sure she was safe and when me and him made eye contact from the car he smiled and waved and went back to work. That and many other examples made me feel more comfortable with living here and I knew my daughter would be safe so I signed another year contract.

Ive been in my apartment here for about 9 months and I absolutely love it here. I always feel safe and during the couple of times Ive forgotten my key, once I call the line for assistance someone is able to help me within maybe 20 minutes even after hours.My apartment is great for one person and was clean and ready to go when I moved in.Patty, Kristi, Lauree and Jerzy in the office are all super helpful whenever I need anything and great to chat with. Theres also maintenance on site who do a great job keeping all of the landscaping and pools clean and neat.Overall, Ive been very happy here and Im sure you will be too!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the office staff is at Sierra Grande. Patty and Kristi are 2 of the most professional, caring, accommodating leasing agents you will ever find. They have made relocating my father from Missouri to Arizona as seamless and worry free as possible. The apartments are clean, affordable and perfect for what we needed. Initially, I had some apprehensions about living here prior to signing my lease due to some of the negative reviews I had read online, however the value was too good to pass up. After living here for a few months, I am happy to report that the management has listened to the feedback and has taken concrete action to address these issues. Thus far, I have not had any significant problems with my utilities and small matters, such as a leaky bathtub faucet, have been promptly fixed.The office staff are all incredibly kind, honest, and hardworking people; though they knew how to sell the complex, they never once pressured me into signing a lease. Their transparency regarding rent and detailed explanations of the leasing process definitely helped swayed my decision towards choosing Sierra Grande. When they say electricity is included in rent, they really mean electricity is included in rent! They take pride in their work and it shows in the cleanliness and upkeep of the facilities; though the complex is older, it is well-maintained. Additionally the community here is comprised of friendly and considerate members. Yes, the walls are a little thin; while I dont typically hear my next door neighbors, I can occasionally hear conversations or music from those enjoying the pool. However, this noise is generally limited to the day time and is at a tolerable level.Fair warning that the apartments are best suited for individuals or couples simply based on the size. However, if you fit that criteria, Sierra Grande is truly a hidden gem of a complex and I am still amazed at the quality of the amenities and customer service for the reasonable price of rent. Simply ask for a tour, and you will see what I mean.P.S. Dont be scared by the slightly outdated Southewest decor in the sample apartment! The furniture is super comfy and the appearance can be easily fixed by some couch/chair covers from amazon :)

I’ve been here about 1.5 years and tbh I really like it for the most part. Patty and Kristi in the office are the best! Honestly they are the nicest and most helpful apt office people I’ve ever dealt with at any apt complex I’ve lived in!The property is super quiet which I love! These aren’t your run of the mill cookie cutter apts which I’m not a fan of. And what really helps it stay quiet is the fact that it’s a 2 person maximum per unit so you don’t have like 4 20 year olds next door partying all night because it’s their first apt in life and have no clue what respect for others is. You also don’t have a family with 6 kids running around and screaming and making a bunch of noise! Most of the Apts have just the one person and are mostly older adults.The apt itself is small and the walls are a bit thin but if you ask someone to turn down their tv or music (rarely have to ask that), people are receptive and oblige. The cheaper units are pretty outdated as far as cabinets, counters and the hideous green carpet, but they have upgraded units that are more modern with way better flooring. Anytime I have an issue, they are really responsive and get the issue fixed right away.The parking lot behind the gate is for tenants only which I SUPER appreciate! I know thing is fool proof but I feel better about having added layers of security.Overall I like it here. The apts are cheap (considering the current rental market anyway), clean and quiet. If you looking for a place to just have a space for yourself and is affordable then these are a good fit.

Great location! Very well-kept and clean apartments, a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Patty is absolutely amazing. She is knowledgeable and personable. Patty cares about her tenants and often goes out of her way to check how her tenants are doing. Patty is a true professional. In fact, she was the reason why I’ve moved to Sierra Grande. This place is a hidden jewel. Love this place!!

Stayed there for a month after graduating from college. The staff was very friendly, especially Patty, she was extremely helpful with my moving in and out and she even helped me with completing the things I needed done for a job I accepted. I definitely would have stayed there if I had found a job in Phoenix and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to move into.

I moved here a week ago and love everything about it. Everyone in the office is friendly and very helpful. Patty has been amazing and really cares about the tenants. I would highly recommend this place.

I want to preface this review by stating that the people in the office were wonderful, especially Patty. There were just too many issues that I could not give this place a decent review.My husband and I rented an updated, fully furnished corporate apartment for 2 months. During our time there, we experienced the following issues without resolve:1. Multiple water outages2. Daily wireless internet blackouts (provided by apt.)3. Multiple channels not working for weeks4. Washer that destroyed my $120 comforter. The property manager said she would follow up with me about replacing it. Naturally, I never heard back.In addition, the walls are paper thin. I could literally hear our neighbor snoring. Smoking on the front balcony is allowed and people do it constantly. I was always having to walk through a cloud of smoke to get to my front door. We moved out 2 weeks prior to our lease ending. We could not wait to get out of there.

This place is amazingly good. It is NOT new, no, but thats why it doesnt cost like the brand new places do, and its small - Im in a one bedroom. BUT - I dont know why that guy up there posted all that nasty untrue stuff. I have a guess that this is the kid who the school next door threw out because he came in to the office throwing the F-bomb all over the place, and whose parents apparently taught him how to behave. There is NO mold, nothing, and it is clean. And I resent the suggestion that all of us who live here are low class scum bags - I am a 68 year old woman with a PhD who teaches at ACU next door, and I choose to live close to my job during the week! Ive been here for a year, in two different apartments (needed to move downstairs) and I could not be happier. Its gated, and they recently had to change the locks on the gate because some of our students refused to shut the gate. Well, listen, Im an old single woman, and I dont want to worry about thugs roaming in my apartment complex. If you dont like gated, move out!!

Clean, covered parking, quiet, gated, friendly staff. The only thing I didnt like was that the water would change temperature in the shower all the time. Other than that I would live there again.

Phx native here, Ive lived all over the valley. Sierra Grande is the first choice for me. Been here five years. Its clean, quiet, affordable, safely gated, good location and friendly office staff & maintenance. Pools & spas are always clean. This place excells where other apts fall short.

Upon our move out of the apartment, we thoroughly cleaned the apartment and left it in better condition than it was in when we moved in. We paid our rent on time, and we paid $1,199 for a studio apartment that is old, in bad repair and over 40 years old.We took 64 photos of the apartment to prove that it was left clean, as we had heard that the Property Manager frequently holds the deposit for unjust reasons.Lauree Hensell is the property manager. She withheld $40.00 of our $150.00 deposit because she claimed that the Range/Oven and Cabinets were left dirty. I provided her with photos showing that these items were in fact, clean.While serving the poor of a remote Island in the Philippines, I had recently had a heart attack. Upon my return to the U.S. for treatment, my wife was diagnosed with a brain tumor. We were in the apartment for only 4 months, while we attended Drs appointments and surgeries. We did not use the oven at all, the range, only occasionally.Ms. Hensell stated that because there was a spot on one of the drip pans that she was justified in charging me $40.00 to clean the Range. She said that it was based upon 2.5 hours that were required to clean this spot.Lauree also claimed that the cabinets were greasy. In fact, we cleaned all the cabinets and took pictures to prove they were not greasy or dirty.The Better Business Bureau of Arizona contacted Lauree to seek to reason with her, she refused.Channel 12 News contacted Lauree to try and reason with her, she refused.This Apartment Complex uses the former tenants deposits to pay for cleaning for the next tenants. They assume no responsibility to ensure that the apartments are clean themselves, but rely upon the former tenants who have moved out.I would encourage any potential tenants to seek other apartments, rather than this one. Very disappointing. On 2 Dec 2016 Governor Ducey made proclamation to fly flag at half staff I did not see it at half mass but anytime other tgey call it to be half staff it become half staff. This was for the internment of a soldier who served this country itd disappointing to see this.

Refused to rent to me because I have 2 children. Was told that they cant rent a 1 bedroom to that many people. Literally 1 mother and her 2 young children. According to what I have read its illegal for me to be denied for this reason. I literally only needed a 6 month lease as it is a temporary move and was denied because I have 2 young children.
