I have been here for a little over a year and never had any serious issues. Any issues that did happen, were quickly resolved. The office staff is friendly, and Karen always answers the phone if you have a question. Maintenance responds quickly and is respectful of your space when working. Some comments say they are infested with roaches but I never had an issue with bugs at all. The outside is always clean and no weirdos wondering around the parking lot is a plus! If you’re looking to rent I recommend you look elsewhere. These apartments are infested with roaches they had to come bomb my apartment 3 times in our lease. The only reason why I didn’t call for more was because we had to take everything out of the cabinets such as all our food and clothes and we would destroy our apartment every time. Not to mention drug activity. Our neighbors would always be hanging their clothes outside as said not permitted. Which was embarrassing when we had people come over and they would have 10 ppl in a one bedroom apartment. Very disappointed.

If you’re planning on renting, I suggest you don’t rent here. To begin with, part of the contract was never said; therefore, I was charged even more just to move out. They didn’t want to give me the security deposit back because apparently everyone is behind on there water bill, when water and rent are paid together. Not only did the apartments themselves rob me, but my car was broken into a multitude of times. Roach infested apartments, not enough parking space and the laundry has charged my card more than once before. If I could give a fraction of a star review I would. DON’T RENT HERE!!

NEVER RENT HERE NASTY APARTMENTS!!!!!!!!! I currently live here this is the worst apartments I’ve ever lived in they lied about not having ROACHES They OVER CHARGE you they send late fees when there isn’t any late fees and the people in the office never know what they’re doing when you go and ask they will just hang up the phone. WORST SERVICE EVER so glad my lease is ending in a couple weeks !!!! DO NOT RENT HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!

Moved here in march of 2019, very easy application process. I enjoy our staff in the office and our maintenance men are so sweet and caring. Gabriel is one of the hardest working men i have met. He deserves the best for him and his family. I have enjoyed meeting new friends here. Thank you palm Crest, keep up the good work and continue to really listen to your residents. Makes for a great living environment!

Horrible place to live at. They coin you in with how cheap it is but then throw all types of taxes and fees to your rent and make all types of excuses when getting deposit back. Don’t waste your time

I love the 3 bedroom floor plan but its not available. Love the idea of washer and dryer. The office very professional people and the residents very friendly.

The staff are amazing! All of them helping me with my questions as Im renting for the first time with my family. We are from another State and they actually help me a lot to understand the whole process of renting.

We recently had to move out due to a growing family, and I am honestly BUMMED we had to! We lived here for 2 years and really enjoyed it. The ladies in the front office were always hospitable, helpful and kind, as well as the maintenance crew! Any issued that ever came up were always addressed quickly and professionally. The apartments themselves were nice and a decent size for the price you pay! They have security that walks the complex, and you are able to call them any time you may need too. I do see comments about people not liking the area, or it being ghetto, but honestly thats just phoenix for you! For the area we were in, the complex was on the nice side of anything else I was able to find for the same price, and well maintained. I felt safe the entire time I lived there, and for the most part everyone kept to themselves and we never had problems with neighbors. We enjoyed the grassy fields, and it was nice to see there were always children and families out. I would honestly highly recommend living here any day!

Betty is the best so helpful very noticeable and honest she has become family my whole family literally lives there and never had any issues and George is very attentive and kind

This place is very beautiful and well put together. I went to check out these apartments and they were very nice. Also met their maintenance supervisor Gabriel when I was there to get a little more insight. He was absolutley lovely and an absolute sweetheart. Definitely #1 on my list right now. Thank you again.

Ive been living here for 4 years, and I love it and the staff is amazing. They definitely to help you out as much as they can. Sometimes we have to be patient, but they truly come through. They always do event for the kids which is a big plus for me to get them involved.

I love how welcoming the people were and they would always ask and take care of my needs and the apartment is a really good size for the price. Most apartments would be the same size but be incredibly expensive. But these ones are just right!

I expend Thanksgiving at my niece in the apartments and it looks really nice. The kitchen very nice size and the livingroom too.

Im babysitting my niece and nephews until next week during school break. I was surprise that during the Summer Break, the complex provided free lunches for all the kids. My niece and nephews love the trip to the office and picked up their lunches every day. This is not the first time they are having free lunches. I thought it was very cool.

Palm Crest is affordable, the office staff was very kind, and the maint staff always will explain to you what is going on and what is happening. There always doing different events for the month for everyone and on Halloween they go all out and hire face painters and do a mini carnival. They make you feel at home!

I stop by the property and they were very helpful and informative. Love the floor plan.

My friend and I stop by today looking for a 3 bedrooms apartment. The staff was really nice and answered all the questions my friend had. We visited the model very nice. Hope a 3 bedroom open up soon.

I’m actually scared to go outside. People in a certain area are horrible! They are loud and rude. And their drug dealer is always outside in his one of many cars....currently a black Chrysler. I’m concerned for what may be done to my car and concerned for my personal safety.

I like the area and is near by my work. The property looks really nice and the staff was very friendly and professional.

The people in the office are wonderful! Ive lived here for almost 3 years. They are always willing to work with you. you new maintenance supervisor is really on top of things.

I’m a new resident, I’ve been really enjoying my new home so far. I have a 2X2 casita. It is upgraded, very homey and comfortable.I’ve had pleasant experiences with the office staff so far. I put in a pretty hefty maintenance order when I first moved in that was taken care of right away. I will be making another soon as I’ve been here 2 weeks and uncovered more issues, minor things that are expected when you move into a place that has been vacant, or maybe the previous tenants did not take good care of the home.I only not dislike a few things. There is a major issue with stray cats, there is 1 specific black cat that follows you and hisses at you, it may be rabid.I was given a threat of eviction and final warning for playing loud music when I haven’t played loud music. I can admit my speaker is close to the wall which was likely the issue. Whatever the case I would have much more appreciated a knock on the door or a phone call from staff to discuss the concern. So at this point I don’t feel comfortable to play music in my own home for fear of getting in trouble when I don’t really know what I did wrong in the first placeParking is scarce. If I get home late I may have to park in the back and hike to my unit. I was told a parking space near me will become available next month so I am excited for that, is isn’t a big deal since it will soon be resolved but it is a nuisance at the momentOverall I am enjoying my stay. Looking forward to this new adventure with my fiancée and our son. I hope it continues to go well

The apartment looks really nice, a lot of space. The 3 bedrooms has washer and dryer. They should provide more of those. Pool looks clean and landscaping looks clean.

I have lived here over a year and I have had no issues. I am surprised at some of the bad reviews because I have never experienced anything like this. The office and maintenance staff are always so nice and helpful. When I put in work orders they get done within a couple days. I would give 5 stars if I could pay my rent online every month but the website is always down and the pools are gross. But we hardly go swimming so it is not a huge deal for us. But I really do like it and plan on upgrading to a two bedroom when my lease is up.

I visited my friend on the property and the property itself looked very clean and well maintained. I walked by the pool and wanted to jump in! The grass was well kept as well.

If you are cool with being in the ghetto... welcome! If you enjoy quiet, stay away from the north side of building 8. Very loud people that the complex does nothing about.

There was nothing to be liked. First week here there was a man tackled by police outside my window who was arrested for shooting someone...in the complex. There have been two shootings since living here. Cats are everywhere and residents keep feeding them like pets. Online system is terrible, Ive put in multiple maintenance request and the office says they dont get them. I told the office my apartment smelled when I moved in...6 months later nothing has been done. But all they offered were to buy air fresheners and they cant even do that. Ive been stopped by people looking at the complex and I tell them they can find a better place elsewhere.

Stop by the property to visit my girlfriend and she had a leaking faucet. She called the office to submit a work order. Issue was taken care of the same day and maintenance staff was very friendly and knowledgeable

Parking lot is horrible here!. Most of the cover parking is all taken which leave few unassign.. To make it worse the office wont allow you to park on future residence.

The apartments are nice and are at a reasonable price, however; the rules/policies that they have are not inforced. For example one of the rules is no marijuana smoking allowed not even with medical card but as soon as the sun goes down there is marijuana smell everywhere. Also the parking policy is not informed; people take others parking all the time and or park backwards and I have not seen 1 tow truck enforcing the rules. As well as poor security; not once have I seen security pratrolling or checking out suspicious activities.

Reading over the others comments makes you understand that a good majority of reviews are complaints and bad experiences that come with life in general. In my experience, my stay at Palm Crest has been nothing short of amazing. The staff review your requests and promptly reply to your concerns through email. All of my work orders have been taken care of within 24 hours and the service staff will even leave a note saying what maintenance was performed. The location is of great convenience, with access to grocery and auto repair within walking distance! Included with your stay is access to an updated laundry room, say goodbye having to carry coins on you. The exercise room has just enough to get in shape- no intimidating free weights that usually end up scattered in regular gyms. The pool is just shallow enough that you can trust your kiddos in, and has a small jacuzzi off to the side. To provide personal experience, I will say the paid parking is worth the price any day of the week. Dust storms will knock over branches and can ruin your morning when you walk over to a shattered windshield. To fight off any pest problems I regularly take out my trash and ensure no food is left on counters. I try to change my HVAC filter monthly because I am a neat freak, but you can get away with not changing it ever; you can even get maintenance to change it out for you LOL. Maintenance always keeps up with landscaping with automated sprinkler systems, neatly trimmed bushes, and pavement is regularly cleared of pebbles.There is no point in up-selling the place, since it is not a palace it is an apartment complex. The bottom floor is usually taken up quickly because nobody likes climbing stairs. There is an abundance of cats, which makes complete sense since some residents feed the strays, and makes you reconsider buying that Siamese kitten for $200 off Craigslist...The location is just close enough to the fun, with West Gate and the Cardinals Stadium a few miles away, but it is far enough from big traffic jams in central phoenix.

I hate this apartment there the worst u ever can live in one they have so many bugs roaches in and outside the apartments. the office people are so rude we been living here for about close to two years u look outside its always somebody moving, theres never a parking spot and you have to pay for one which is weird I be never lived in a apartment where you had to pay for parking spot u get one free but not here then people steal your mail when u get stuff sent to you, everytime it rains our roof is leaking we ask them to fix it and they say it nothing they can do so we have to put a bowl on the floor where the leak is. they have change staffing so many times where they have lost our rent and said we missed rent so we payed them double the rent like 3 time already we are leaving these apartment in January if I ever had some on ask me i should move in these apartments I would tell them to keep looking cause u can find something way the HELL BETTER THEN THESE ONES IT WILL BE THE WORST MISTAKE YOULL EVER MAKE MOVING INTO PALM CREST AT STATION 40

Love the apartment,very spacious and comfortable,with lots of storage and private balconies/patios...but im having issues with the roaches!! Maintenance and office staff are very prompt with addressing the issue,but its not working. Maybe the whole building needs to be super treated to get rid of them.hopefully there will be an improvement soon. Carpet is old and badly stained,when i first moved in it looked nice,but after only a few weeks,stains and dirty spots appeared where anyone walked. Would like to have it replaced,soon.even if i need to help cover the cost!!Mostly everyone ive been in contact with are cool,although there are some people who enjoy drama and fight where everyone can hear it,with no regard for everyoness peace n quiet.Havent had any issues with parking,even though you have to pay for a covered parking spot.Grounds are nice,lots of green. Beautiful mature trees throughout property. Although ive never used either pool,everytime i pass by them they are clean and well maintained,if a little crowded at times.Laundry rooms are usually tidy,with a much appreciated recent upgrade to new washers and dryers that look nice and work even better.Maintenance team is awesome, and so are the office staff. They do an amazing job of managing and maintaining such a large complex,special thanks to Vanessa in the office,and to Gabriel and Carlos in maintenance,keep up the great work! I look forward to living here for a long time :)

******ROACHES ******!!!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE !!!Along with the many many issues this plave has.......They double assigned my parking space. (Which you have to pay extra btw) caused me to get towed, loose a day of work and when brought up to the staff..... Ohhhh they were rude !! Acted indifferent and didnt even have the courtesy to apologize !!!! Ive never been so angry in my life.

I just moved in the 1st of March and I absolutely love my apartment, different buildings have different problems, I have not seen 1 roach, my carpet looks new, my neighbors are clean ppl,

I still live here and I really dont like it. I mean most of the staff is really nice and undertanding but there is one lady that is constantly rude. Not just that its also always very noisy, trash, and cats everywhere and people dumpster diving on a daily basis. People even have parties outside of our apartment. On the plus side they do have a nice kitchen and bathrooms but bugs everywhere after a few months of living there. We are ready to move somewhere else. If you have a baby, this is definetly not the place to go

Place is trash would give it zero stars if I can!!! The office socks they dont work with u at all and also its the most difficult thing ever to pay and I suspect they do that because if ur late on rent they tac on additional $200

I tried getting an apartment here and got denied. No big deal, it happens. They told me I would be getting my $80 admin fee back. Its been 38 days and I havent received anything! They keep giving me the runaround. Im so glad I got denied because Id hate to live there!!!

Ive lived here for a month now and I really like it. Ive not seen a single bug or evidence of them in my apartment. There were some issues with my apartment when I moved in and they were addressed within 48 hours of my reporting them. I havent had any issues with noise above and beyond what you would expect from an apartment complex. My apartment is right behind the Frys on Indian School and 83rd Ave and the delivery trucks arrive at all hours of the night and are sometimes noisy. This is beyond the control of the management obviously. There are a few stray cats that seem to call the property home and they are occasionally annoying.I live in a two bedroom apartment. I like the layout. The kitchen, dining room, halls, and bathrooms have wood laminate flooring which is nice to look at but a pain to keep clean. The kitchen is the most spacious kitchen I have ever had or seen in an apartment in this price range. The appliances (stove, dishwasher, refrigerator) are newish and work well. The bedrooms are nicely sized too. The living room is very small and as a result it took me a couple of tries to get the layout of my furniture right. The bathtubs and sinks in the bathroom are the one area where the apartment shows its age. Theres also no medicine cabinets in either bathroom but there is ample storage underneath the sinks. Speaking of storage there is a pantry off the dining room, a shallow linen closet in the hall, and a storage room in the patio area.One thing to note is that each apartment has its own hot water heater. I have no issue with that in and of itself although since theyre electric your electricity bill is going to be higher than you would be used to paying than you would in a place with a central hot water setup.Eight month update.......Since Ive moved in Ive had to make three service requests. The first, for an A/C unit that wasnt cooling well was handled promptly. The next two took over three weeks each to get handled. Both requests were initiated via the complexs online request tool and both took two additional visits each to the office to get handled.Be prepared to spend some time waiting if you have to go to the office for anything. This is one of the busiest offices Ive ever seen. If theres people ahead of you, particularly if theyre renting an apartment, youre going to spend a serious amount of time waiting to be seen. Their online request system is completely broken and one time the office staff insisted I never made a request even though I had printed out the receipt from the online system accepting my request.My deal-breaker with this property is their DirecTV policy. If youre going to rent here and want to have a satellite TV service make sure you get an apartment that faces the south. If you dont youre going to be stuck with cable. I didnt think this would be an issue since the apartment next door to me has a dish on its roof and when you walk the property you see several other apartments that dont face the proper direction that have a dish on their roof. I presumed that they would allow a dish on the roof because of this. This was a poor presumption on my part. It seems like an arbitrary policy to me. Either allow them or dont.Combined with the maintenance issues this is a deal-breaker for me and I wont be renewing my lease. Its too bad because ita a good apartment for the price range, but arbitrary policies and poor maintenance response times are just too much to over look.

All in all would not recommend this apartment to anyone unless you dont mind weekly visits to the office for problems in regards to your monthly rent and a staff who act like they care when really they are just tired of seeing you with problems they cause by giving you the incorrect amount in the end making you pay more and have multiple notices and late fees even though you got the specific amount from the person you spoke to in person that you needed to pay.The apartment was originally infested with bugs (after months of weekly sprays they are finally all dead however now you find dead ones everywhere you look.)Stray cats everywhere and they spray everywhere near the front doos to mark their territories the smell is god awful you gag apon coming home.Multiple break-ins to Apartments and vehicles including my own and no notice to the other residents that this is happening.There was a sexual assaults in the laundry room.Multiple murdersThe consistent smell of marijuanaThe spa and pool dirty not to mention kids under the age of 8 swimming without adult supervision every day during the summerKids running around making a mess of the community with their food wrappers and candy wrappers using their foul language and destructive manners. My 8 year old son cant wven take out the trash without another kid trying to fight him.Theres never any parking spots other than the one parking that you have to pay extra for. And if you park in an open parking spot that you know no one lives there the apartment management will tow your vehicle.The sprinklers spray you vehicle if you have parking near the gress. I have put in over 10 request to get it fixed or move my parking spot and all the staff has done was laughed to may face and made a comment about well you get a free car wash 3 times a day from the sprinklers no what i do get is hard water stains on my car (that dont come off with a regular car wash) and cracked paint. Thank you for laughing though it made me feel alot better.And the maintenance men that ever come to fix anything that has gone wrong take FOREVER and when they get done they just leave... they dont bother to tell you everything is done or fixed or if they are going to return to finish up and trust me you wont know if they are done cuz of the mess they made for you to clean up.I can continue with more but this is just a few of the issues that i felt the need to list.

Update.. just came to read review again...Dang I did hate palm Crest.. i am reducing to 1 star...because in my new place, I am 5 years later still in it loving it...SO we came from another state so I could goto school in phx. We decided on this place moderate rent and the pics on the website make it seem nice.. Wish I could post pics here and show you the green pool, the garbage all over, the tranny downstairs pissing in the corner, the multiple complaints to the security that is split shift on fri and sat, ONLY DAYS they are here. My wifes car was broken into within the first week, the office could care less. The roaches are like Joes Apartment movie from MTV. They greet me every day I come home. So many holes in and around the the pipes and corners the roaches have free reign over this apt. The re-modeled apartments is a joke, the move in was fun too because there was 10 roaches when we walked in for the first time, the dishwasher doesnt work, they said hmm too bad you can live without it, the front burner of the new stove which was dirty, doesnt work and the company said oh well you have 3 other burners..the front door had a 1inch crack all the way around it and the ants are like a marching line walking right in...crappy laminate wood floor laid right over the old laminate. Paint slapped on and chipped tubs and sinks, We are breaking our lease and running. OH wait, the drug dealers whistling bringing the drugs from the guy around the corner of next unit, the gunshots around us every night, the police heli rotating around the place shining the light at the complex almost every night, the maintenance guy even suggested we move.Oh wait the website also says our relaxing atmosphere, relaxing if you like reality shows like cops and swat.. Maybe the bums that dig in the garbage is interesting also, the management says oh well no solution for that!!! Identity theft is a big potential too.. The landscape is cool if you like biting ants, or a group of people driving in and 40 to 50 people in the pools and playing full soccer games in the yard, after the game they all got in their cars and left complex, so I guess its also a community park/pool.. The staff is very rude. I seen a women that work there slamed the door right in the womens face. There are alot of cocker roashes. Thought was rude taking the sexural assult papers down . when they done that it made me not feel safe. Because it would happend again and they dont care. The staff needs to stop there additudes. Sept the white boy he is very nice. But the mexican lady is not nice . But so far noone tryed to break in.

I mived into the place and had to move out 2 weeks later because of rhe cockroach infestation that they could not remedy. The parking situation is horrible and the apartment do not even look close to the model. The staff is okay and the maintenance people rock, but that is all this place has going for them. Moved-in a few months ago... The lady messed up on my lease not once, not twice, not three but four times. I was suppose to have a 3month lease and instead am in a 6month lease now the complex is owned by another management company so there is nothing i can do but to do the full lease term. This place is not the best especially with these damn cats every-where. Moving back to tempe as soon as the lease is over!!!!!!!

I would never suggest these apartments to anyone!!! When the reviews say they have roaches these apartments have them bad! It doesnt even matter if they come to spray every 2 weeks they dont go away Im so glad our lease it up in July !

Im currently staying here now and I would not recommend these apartments to anyone there is a cockroach infestation very bad..They dont care at all Ive had to flush a roach out of my sons ear we wake up with them in our beds even the outside is infested with roaches Ive tried everything to get staff to bomb or at least spray every unit in my building so we can get rid of these roaches and they told me that they cant do that its against the law for me to go ask my neighbors to spray as if thats not rude

You have to pay $15 for parking a month! They take forever to make a repair. A/c units so old. Place is turning ghetto!

I would literally never suggest these appointments to anyone management is terrible they constantly have a problem with bugs coming up there drains and once I went to pay rent and they gave me and extra 200$ charge and no one explained why

I really like these apartments, the kitchen is very spacious as well as the rooms. I would very much like them to put washers and dryers in all the depas.

Very good rental prices for those of 3 bedrooms, with washing machines and dryers. Very nice the atmosphere in the pools.
