We used Matt for a repair on our HVAC system, and he did a phenomenal job. He was professional, efficient and saved us from having to spend a ton of money on a new unit. When our water heater died, we called Hobaica had absolutely fantastic service throughout the entire process of replacement. Our initial contact was with Melissa, who took all the information and was incredibly thorough and detail oriented. She was incredibly helpful and is clearly a people-person! Scott D. was our service rep; he called 20 minutes before he arrived and arrived well within the service window. He did fantastic work and was cheerful to boot, even though he was replacing a water heater in a 108- degree outdoor structure. He made sure I knew how to set the pilot and he cleaned everything up before he left. Fantastic, prompt, and courteous service. Five stars and wont call anyone else in the future!

My five star experience started when Andy Hobaica quickly diagnosed a cooling issue we had for years that no other AC company cared to fully investigate and figure out. We actually had a design issue with our cooling ducts. The quote was competitive, so we selected Hobaica. We have used Hobaica for A/C check-up service and repair for years, but we’ve only recently needed to use their plumbing services. I called 5 times on a Sunday due to a water leak. They say they do emergency service and available 24/7. It would be better if they would at least call you back and say not available so you could just move on.

Mat was great! We lucked out and he was able to come a few hours after we called to ask about an A/C check-up and a few minor concerns. Scott Dale was johnny-on-the-spot (weekend service!) and diligent in attempting to find a freak leak from the A/C return duct inside the house. It occurred during the strong monsoonal activity in Phoenix during the month of July and he diagnosed that it was probably condensation on the return duct in the attic from humidity that then ran down the duct to the return register in the house. No problems found. Great work and very professional service from Scott!

We have used Hobaica Services for many years at three different houses for the maintenance of our A/C system. They provide quality service at competitive prices and all of their techs are top-notch. Danny Unglaub has serviced the unit at our new house since we moved in and has been particularly impressive. He has taken the extra time correct a couple of little things that werent done perfectly when the system was installed (by others / new build) to make sure our unit will continue to work at its best. He also takes pictures and documents his visits so that when he returns for the next service he can see if there have been any significant changes. That is a professional move!

Technician Amer was very kind and frendly did a great service at my house.

I had a complex install of an air handler in the attic. Space was extremely tight. With one option being to cut a hole in the ceiling, Gio and Troy were able to come up with something far less invasive. They expandes the attic hatch by removing the trim. Then, still with too narrow of a space, Gio disassembled the air handler components and was able to get it up into the attic location. The attention to detail snd workmanship was stellar. Especially on a 100+ degree day and probably 115 in the attic…Gio removed the old unit and installed the new air handler unit perfectly while Troy installed the condenser outside. I had cold air back in the house by the end of the workday. I’m impressed with the level of workmanship and quality associated with the install. Andy Hobiaca even sent someone over to reinstall the trim around the attic hatch to get it back to its original state. While not the cheapest, the work gets done right and with meticulous quality. Not to mention the confidence knowing the Hobiaca team will stand behind the work. Greatly appreciate the effort!

Ethan and Jason came to install a new AC unit at our home. They also added new registers in some of the bedrooms. They also added a new return, duct work and a new thermostat. They were so courteous and worked so hard. You could tell they put a lot of thought into where to put new registers in the bedrooms. They didnt rush to just get things done or rush me when I had questions. They took the time to make sure everything was done well. They did good quality work and they were awesome!!! Our home feels so much better. They even took the time to explain things, gave suggestions on better air filters and helped me with the app on my phone. We are thrilled with our new unit and the service we were provided.

Hobaica Services has been around a long time and their reputation for high quality service will not disappoint you. After my A/C going out twice within a week and tripping the breaker, I thought that I was going to need a new unit. But the technician, Emir, found the issue and resolved it within 30 minutes. It was a melted wire in the attic and he replaced it. I had previously paid Charles Roberts come out to check on the A/C just 6 weeks previous to this and they said all was fine. No more Charles Roberts for me. I will always call and trust Hobaica from now on and ask for Emir. He was great!

I am writing this review in regard to the conversation with customer service representative, Jasmine at Hobaica services. I called her for ac tune up but i ended up getting more services just because of the good amount of information and service provided by her. She is knowledgeable, patient and quick in getting all the answers.I am still waiting for the actual service tp be done at my place but i am hoping it will be better than expected .

I was told they would be out same night for an “emergency” call after waiting 5 hours and having two small kids in the house I took them somewhere with AC. When I called to see if I was going to be serviced, I was told “we will do our best, but if we can’t we will call you tomorrow” … still haven’t been called. Luckily someone else was able to respond to the emergency call in a timely manner. Just be honest if you can’t make it…

I spoke to on the phone, Jasmine. Jasmine was very helpful and went out of her way to get me an appointment the day of. Travis was also great, on time, friendly and communicative. He helped my husband and me in finding a cheaper option of the filters we needed replaced on Amazon and was very informative. He helped us a lot. So far I’ve had AC services by Scott and Travis and both have been great!

Amir did a great job quickly assessing my electrical problem with my outdoor lighting. Fix went quick! Went over and above…. Will use them again on any items they service.

1. When the techs first came out to check out our a/c problem, they did not have the right tools to check our Freon levels, 2. When the second tech came out he had all the right tools, stated we possibly had a leak in the system…. Charged us a large dollar amount to do a system leak, did not check the entire system , just went right to the attic… found what was possibly the leak, told it was going to be 3500.00 to replace our coil, then said maybe we should look at replacing the entire system! Our system is only two years old….. the second tech was more interested in us giving him a great google review…. Instead ofLooking at ways to get our system fixed ! Think twice before using this company way over priced !!! The techs had good attitudes , You folks should take a look at your pricing!! Way over priced !!!!!

Travis Vanau was our technician and he was awesome!! We have had an AC company come out now twice through our home warranty and both times have been told everything was fine. Travis was here for maybe 15-20 minutes and informed us that it looks like we have an AC leak, and walked us through the necessary steps for proper repair. He did a recharge for us and is coming back later this week to better identify the potential leak in our system! We can’t thank you enough, Travis!

I had a leaky faucet and, because our regular plumber was out of town, called Hobaica because they have serviced our AC/heating units for years and I knew I could trust them to do plumbing work, too. Hobaica saved us! We were having an issue with another company and a costly repair but Hobaica came out same day for a second opinion, had a greatly reduced price, and informed us of why there was a problem along with pictures. My AC unit went out over Memorial Day weekend. I have two small children, and it was hotter inside our house than it was outside. I called Hobaica on Memorial Day at 10:55 AM and Justin arrived around 11:35 AM. A mouse ate through part of our unit, and Justin repaired it by 1:00 PM that day. Excellent and professional service. Simon was excellant. Completed the repair of our 20 year old A/C and also went into attic and did an inspection of the duct work. Simon then provided in depth information regarding how we can improve our existing A/C system as our current duct work creates hot spots in upstairs rooms. We intend to follow up with Simon on how we can replace existing system. I have never had an HVAC tech provide such informative information as well as be as polite and courteous. Ryan Waters arrived at our home on time and talked us through the process of putting a new sewer pipe within our current old pipe from the house to the street.He showed us the results of the camera he used to scope our existing sewer. Sun City homes are old and this one was ready for new pipes and we were ready for peace of mind.Ryan explained everything in complete detail. The work turned out to be what he said it would be and he took great care with rocks and cactus that had to be temporary moved while they dug to put in clean outs and the new pipe. The crew that worked with him was super. They are all courteous and take pride in their work. 50 year warranty. Fantastic.We recommended Hobaica for two friends around the corner for the same need. They were able to fix them with new sewers as well.Ryan will be our new plumber from here on out. I cant say enough about how great he is and what a relief it was to use Hobaica.
