Dont mistake this review for a critique of State Farm as an insurance company in general. (Which incidentally is also positive.) Shay Conder and staff as an insurance agent are friendly, knowledgeable, and are most willing to help find what your needs are.

Does what he can to get you the best rate

This office was good at the beginning for being a listening ear while I was talking about the difficulties Ive had with my last insurance. Got me a good rate and had an easy on-boarding. For that, I give them a star.Ive sent many emails, made many phone calls and have never been able to get a hold of anyone since Ive been a client (a couple months over a year). I got one coupon once after leaving a message about a chip in my windshield, but it came to me 2 months after my call, at which point I had already had it repaired.I will say that they did give me a call back last month. Wait, oh yeah, it was because I called corporate and complained about this office.Ive switched over to another agent in Provo and already have had 100% response rate—and, most importantly, immediate response. Like, someone actually answered the phone!Funny how other reviews are the complete opposite of mine. It does sound like a really nice agency. That just wasnt my experience.

Shay is great! I have been with his office for years now and have never had a bad experience. He truly cares about his customers and couldnt care less about making the sell as long as he is doing whats best for you. His team is the same way. I have sent my whole family to him. If you want a great agent and to feel like more than a number, Shay is your man.

Shay was extremely helpful. He kept in good communication with me, was able to answer all my questions, was very transparent about the details of my insurance quote, and gave me information about different coverage amounts and let me decide what I felt was best. He made sure I understood different discounts that were applied, and some of the insurance language. I would definitely recommend working with him--although I know all insurance agents are interested in making sales, I never felt like he was trying to rip me off or take advantage of me.

By far the WORST experience Ive ever had! I signed up with these guys back in September, 2 weeks before my 3 year mark of being in two wrecks. They told me theyd take the wrecks off of my record and my bill would be 160/month. October came and I got a bill for over $230. I called and they said theyd get it taken care of and took me off of autopay until it was fixed. November came and I got a bill for more than 400!! I called again, they didnt know what was the problem and said their supervisor would call me the following day. He never did. So two days or so later I called again and got the same response. Again, he never called. So I called a third time and he was finally available and quite frankly rude. He told me I didnt have to worry about it because he would get it taken care of. Fast forward to this month, I am selling my car and need some insurance info. I call for it and am told that I havent been insured for over 1.5 months. !? What if I had been in a wreck?! What if I had even been pulled over!? I could have been arrested because these guys are literally the worst. Not to mention, I then sent an email to one of their representatives on Wednesday, and two days later they are such cowards that I STILL havent heard anything. Oh, and on top of that when I called for my insurance info, they said theyd send him a message to contact me. Two days later, he still hasnt. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere, these guys are literally the worst insurance on this planet.

Shay is the best in the business. He’s my guy for insurance. There’s a lot to be said for good service, and Shay provides the best in class service. He makes the process so simple and seamless. We’ve worked with Farmers agents and Independent agents in the past. But we will stick with Shay and State Farm because the service is top notch.

Recently I received an insurance policy through Shay Conders State Farm office. From the onset they were professional and obviously willing to help in all my needs. In my experience of shopping for insurance I had become... well to say it plainly cynical, I felt like the agents were self-serving and only looking for a commission check. It was refreshing to speak with the team of agents and their staff, and in my short time working with them I have come to the conclusion: This is how an agency should run... it should be run with honesty, care, professionalism and understanding. When my other policies come up for renewal I am going to give them a shot.It is worth your time to reach out to them.

Nice people, though there was always a change in premium, or a mysterious error in the State Farm system... Got a better quote from a friend and leapt at the chance to switch. Oddly enough, the easiest part of being with State Farm was canceling the policies.

Ive had many terrible experiences with auto insurance but I found State Farm to be the most trustworthy. Zach reached out to me for a much better quote than I originally had. He answered all my questions and explained the terms with me. Despite having so many changes to my cars and stuff, he was right on top of it. He is very upfront about what is best for my situation and doesnt push me to take anything that isnt best for me. I didnt feel I was taken advantaged of at all and to me, thats the most important thing.

Shay has been deleting my reviews of him on Facebook and deletes my comments to his posts as well. He does not want people to know what he did to me. So listen up before he pays Google to remove this review. Shay quoted me full coverage at $160 per month. I told him I had an accident a year ago and he told me not to worry. I noticed the automatic withdrawals were $272. When I called him to ask him why my rates went up, he said that $272 was the quote he gave me. HE LIED! I went to the office to confront him and he said that because of the accident on my driving record, $272 was the best he could do. I asked him why he originally quoted me $160 and he admitted that he did not run my MVR before giving me the quote. That is illegal! When I told him I wanted my money back, he told me I had better get out of his office or he would call the police. Seriously?! HE is the thief and the liar and hes gonna call the cops on me? I am so going to the attorney general about this.
