I have been with both Michelle and Amanda - both gave fabulous hair cuts! Highly recommend this salon & anyone here. They spend their time, it’s clean, professional, and such trendy haircuts!!! I took my mom here on her birthday to get her hair highlighted and even scheduled and appointment with the owner since she was the most expensive and I assumed the most experienced, but when I picked her up it barely looked like she got her hair highlighted. Yet, we were charged $150 plus tip for a full head of highlights. Not to mention, my mom has thin hair and it shouldn’t have taken much effort to make it look more blonde by adding more foils. I felt very ripped off with how much money I paid because I pay the same for my hair and it is much thicker and requires way more foils AND it actually looks highlighted when I get it done.

Awesome Salon. I moved to Omaha from Kansas City and since I have my hair color touched up and cut every 4 weeks, finding a colorist that I would comfortable with I was nervous about. After reading the reviews and searching their website, I began to realize these girls have a ton of knowledge and experience so I decided to give them a shot. Sarah called me back and through our conversation I found that they do much more than hair so I scheduled a hair and wax appointment. Both of the procedures were great, I have another appointment for 4 weeks out. I recommend this salon.

Went to Omahas Hair Choice because my regular person was down with Covid. I may have found a new place. Very friendly people. Hair was done very well at the same price I was paying my other person and OHC is so easy to get to, even from I-80.

They got my mother, sister and I into get out hair cut and my mom a perm in a day. We had an emergency funeral for my brother. Both beauticians were efficient and friendly. They cared about us. My sister and I had Amanda and my mom had Kristin. I would recommend this salon great customer service.

I’ve been seeing Kirsten at OHC for cut and colors for over 10 years, and I have yet to leave her chair disappointed. She listens to my opinions while bringing her creative and technical expertise along to work her magic time and time again. And don’t get me started on her color work! I like a more natural highlight that requires low maintenance. She delivers on this consistently while still bringing a fresh, innovative approach each time. She’s truly a wizard with color and knows just what to do to give my hair the depth and shine it needs. Not to mention, Kirsten styled my hair and did airbrush makeup for one of the biggest days in my life — my wedding. She nailed my vision, integrated my hairpiece flawlessly and made me feel beautiful. Kirsten is true artist who’s mastered her craft. Im beyond excited to watch her continue to grow at OHC.

Jessica was phenomenal. Scheduled an appointment for a haircut, bleach, and tone. Words simply cannot express the job she did. I am used to getting cheap military haircuts, but the service, professionalism, and knowledge she provided were more than I could have possibly imagined! I will be back every 4 weeks!

Friendly stylists, affordable cuts.

We are new to Omaha and finding a stylish for my husband and myself has not been easy, plus affordable. We saw Michelle and she was fantastic. She made us feel welcomed, was very attentive to our preferences and made us feel comfortable. The salon is clean and well set up. We would recommend this salon to others. We liked Michelle so well we went ahead and scheduled our next appointment at that time.

I found this gem of a salon a couple years ago. I live about 90 minutes away, but I make the trip because Sarah is the only one who has ever cut my hair EXACTLY the way I want it! I refuse to go anywhere else. I love coming to Omahas Hair Choice. Sarah is amazing!

Jessica is great and really listens to what you want! I like a sort of punky hair style that, if styled incorrectly, can end up being a let me see your manager hairstyle. Jessica listened to me, gave me a great cut, and didnt style it the way 95% of stylists try to do it. Its fun, light, messy, and adorable. Im super happy with this haircut!

Really a marvelous place to have hair and make up done. My stylist, Michelle, is completely amazing! My hair now looks better than it has in years. In fact, I now have an appointment to have her do my hair for my wedding in a couple of months. I havent decided yet whether or not to have her do my makeup--Ive always done my own. But I highly recommend her for hair!

Used Omahas Hair Choice for myself, mom, sisters, nieces, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law (11 people in all) for wedding hair/makeup and everyone looked exceptional! Hair and makeup looked great throughout the entire long day and all the stylists were friendly, helpful, and open to suggestions to make sure each person looked exactly how they imagined. Made you feel 100% comfortable which made the morning of the wedding such a relaxing, memorable time with my family. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone, especially for a bridal party! Of note, I traveled into Omaha for the wedding from about 4 hours away and they made all scheduling and deposits a breeze to handle from afar leading up to the wedding. Special shout-out to Sarah for making my bridal hair and makeup elegant and timeless for a memorable day!

I made an appointment for a cut and color at 5:00 pm on a Friday. When I walked in the whole place felt energetic and welcoming. Amanda was my stylist and asked for my opinion on everything so I felt very comfortable with the cut and highlighting process. Even though it was getting late, she didnt rush and I got a great cut and wonderful highlights.

I see Sarah for my cuts . She really listens to you and gives honest opinions when you ask her what she thinks of an idea. She takes her time to get it right. She talks with you, and you feel like she is part of the family. I rarely have been able to find a good hairdresser.... Sarah is a good one! Amanda is great for perms as well!

Do you know what it feels like when you get everything handled and you are not a white beach of sand and a group of people are laughing at ya? Well I do. I had a strip of hair going down the back of my thigh and having it pointed out where a lot of hair is on my legs…I had this waxed 1 day ago. Huge disappointment this was as I headed off the beach to find a razor for the strips of hair on my legs on my vacation in FL on the white sands. A VERY UNHAPPY girl!!!The thing is I was trusting so I did not check when she was rushing me out for her next appointment. If you go check yourself before leaving the table.Do you know how Sarah is the BEST!!!! I had the worst experience the night before with a Brazilian and was seeing her for a full leg waxing. I was scared and nervous walking to the back. She made me feel at ease and it was a very pleasant experience-she even fixed the mess that the person at Rave Salon left. Sarah is very knowledgeable and does share the information she holds. I’m now a happy girl and for me that is A LOT.

I actually went their because I was following my stylist but I found the building to be very nice they provide snacks and drinks if your staying fir a long time and everyone is very nice

I have been coming here for about a year! My stylist is Alyssa, she is amazing! She listens to my ideas (there are a lot of them) and helps me sort though them to find the best style and color for me! It is more than just a hair cut. She takes her time, I never feel rushed out of her chair. This girl is a perfectionist she wont let me leave unless she knows my hair is perfect! All the girls here are very nice and friendly to all the customers. Very professional and they seem to work as a team in that salon which I like!They also have fun drawings and givaways every so often! I won a facial at Christmas and saved it for my birthday present to myself! Sarah did my facial for me! It was so relaxing. She walked me through each application and explained things when I had questions.All around this salon is great and fun to come to for some relaxing pampering!

Ive never had a bad hair cut here, unlike Regis, Garbos, and Mastercuts. All the ladies here are incredibly skilled and make sure to ask questions throughout your haircut to be sure it ends up exactly how you want it. As long as they are around, I wont be going anywhere else.

Sarah is great! She helps with my kids mini facials that help with acne. Of course I part take of the ritual but mine is a full facial. Everyone should experience at least once but would suggest more.

I just went for the first time to OHC and it was a great experience. It was reasonably priced (shampoo, condition, cut, style) and the staff was very pleasant! I haven’t tried something new with my hair in a very long time, and Amanda helped me choose a hair style that was right for my personality and lifestyle. I recently moved from Michigan and had to find a new salon to receive waxing services. I did some research on google and came across Omaha Hair Service. I was able to get a waxing appt fairly quick. Sarah did an excellent job on my full leg and Brazilian. She was very professional and informative. I was surprised to learn that she had only been working there for about 5 months. I recommend this salon and the services of Sarah to anyone looking for excellent service for a great price!

A friend of mine had her hair lady cancel an hour before her engagement photos so I called OHC for her and they helped her out within the half hour! Saved the day!!!! Amanda was awesome! Taylor has been doing my hair since January 2016. I love that she offers suggestions about cut and colors, but listens to what Im thinking. She answers all of my questions about products and which ones might be useful to achieve a certain result. I had been looking for a stylist for several years and finally found someone I like. Taylor does a great jobs.

I really wanna say I love my hair but I just cant. My hair stylist was super nice and I liked her but the final product of my hair was not nearly as close to the color I asked for. Im not gonna go back. $180 down the drain..

I love my cut... This was my first time with OHC, my stylist Amanda gave me the cut I wanted, I told her I wanted a short cut and thats what I got, not the cookie cuter one size fits all. She also washed my hair twice, once before and once after to make sure she got all the cut hair. Not the norm any where else. Ask for Amanda, shell make you look good.

Best salon I have ever been to. For the last 4 or 5 years I have been searching for a hair stylist and I finally found one!! Alyssa has been the best. I had a bad dye job and wanted to go back to my natural red color. She was able to re-create it with out damaging my hair. I have already sent 2 friends and plan to send many more!!!! I have been getting my hair colored and cut by Lindsey for years now and I could not be happier. She is very good with my thick, crazy Italian hair! It has never looked better. The front of house/ assistive staff and owner are all friendly and professional. The owner expects her stylists to stay up on all current techniques and ensures they are trained to that end, which I appreciate, as well. I cannot imagine going anywhere else.

Ive been a customer for 3 years. I had great experiences with color, cuts and styles; however; there was an issue once and my hair was permanently damaged by a treatment. When I discussed the problem the owner was awful, rude, condescending and absolutely unkind. She made really mean accusations and refused to return my call. I left a message and she ignored it. I contacted a third time and she said I was harassing them. The situation could easily have been resolved but the owner was shockingly snippy and unprofessional. I will never return no matter how great my previous experiences were.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO DO ANYTHING AT THIS SALON!!!!! ----If i could give a rating lower than 1 I would. -----So I booked an appointment a day before going on vacation with one of hairdressers. The same day I was ready to leave but then something came up where i couldnt even call to let them know I was going to be late. 15 minutes later I am able to call them, and the same hairdresser says he is unable to serve me because its already too late ??? ---So i went to talk to them and maybe try to fit me in real fast because there was barely any time to book at another salon . One lady with short blonde hair tells me the other hair dresser is full till august. I nicely asked for any other person, and she said she will book me an appointment in august just to be rude and make fun of the situation. She was even talking trash about the other hairdressers saying Lindsey wasnt good anyway and that shes the better one anyway so there was no point in getting her. I came back after vacation to ask for an appointment. *****AND THIS IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD! or horrible should I say...**** ----She immediately lies about being the manager and about having two clients when there was clearly NO ONE there, I wait for her to come back and she says she cannot accommodate nor deal with me anymore as Ive previously not accepted her offer of an appointment when Ive already said something came up. ---We then politely ask again and she says she wants me and my daughter out immediately and she forces us to leave. SHE SCREAMS IN OUR FACES, RUNS TO THE DOOR, AND HOLDS IT FOR US WHILE FORCING US TO LEAVE! ---horrible HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I DONT understand what her situation is but that is no way to treat a customer! ---there is no reason of me making this up. Lady with short blonde hair. ---no need to give them fortune when they have no attention at being a good person. ---she was probably expecting a review like this too because she deserves it. ---ALSO before this, my daughter asked for a haircut from them, and all they did was just cut one little piece shorter and died her hair jet black when she didnt ask for that color!!!-----save yourself and go somewhere else!

This was probably the worst haircut I have ever had. The stylist was annoyed when I showed her a picture of what I wanted, only put conditioner on half of my head and barely spoke to me. She asked me what I thought twice. I told her I could not see without my glasses. Instead of getting them for me she just gave a heavy sigh and kept going. She did not do what I asked and obviously did not look at the picture. I saw no one else working when I left and no one asked how the experience was. They do no appear interested as the stylist did not ask me for anything other than money to pay the fee.

They were great! I could get in easily, not over priced, and super nice!
