I’m not one to leave bad reviews especially after going to contempo for many years. Today I asked for black French tips with dip powder. Really unhappy with the result. At the end of the service they offered a $5 discount and said they don’t do French tips in dip powder anymore and that acrylic would have been a better option. If they knew when I asked for dip that they would not turn out looking good, they should have suggested another option, shellac or acrylic rather than continuing with the service knowing it wouldn’t look good. Not only that, but the top coat is streaky and missing in many spots. I won’t return to contempo again, sadly.

I thought it was a one time thing of maybe someone having an off day, but I have come to conclusion that this nail salon is extremely unprofessional. I visited Thursday and got my nails done by Max. Max did an amazing job and wish he worked somewhere else because I would go to him if he didn’t work contempo. During my visit I felt suffocated by the two men surrounding the nail station. I think most would agre but “spa” is supposed to feel relaxing but yet with people surrounding and staring me made me feel uptight and unwelcome. Then the next day my nail broke off I called them and they said they would fix it. So I went and got it fixed in the middle of this I do not know what changed in the ladies attitude but she started to get rough, burned my skin and told me I had no manners to her coworker, even though I thank them up and down and even gave them a tip and she ripped it out of my hand and walked away. I don’t complain much but I would not recommend this place if you are expecting professional, relaxing, and a kind environment.

My daughter and I got pedicures and absolutely love this place! We were walk ins and they took us right back. Everything was very clean, everyone was very nice. At other places it can sometimes hurt, but they didn’t hurt our feet once. They did a fantastic job and were very nice and gentle. We will definitely be back!

This is our 1st time here & will definitely be back! So relaxing & our nails look great. Also very clean.

I broke a nail and was going to get acrylics on all fingers. They put an extension on the one finger sanded it down to match my other nails and did a wonderful job making it look like I had all my natural nails. Highly recommend

I came in on a Sunday afternoon for dip and was sat right away. I showed her a picture of the nail inspiration and she did a phenomenal job, it was better than the picture! 10/10 would recommend, I plan on coming back!

I have been to Contempo a couple of times now, and each time the service is great. They are really attentive to all of their customers, greet everyone as they walk through the door, and have a great vibe in the building. I have enjoyed the Codi pedicure the last several visits, and it is definitely one of the best I have had.

Kelli did a wonderful job! She fixed something I didnt like with a smile and did everything perfectly and efficiently! I was very impressed!

The pedicures are always good. I usually go in for my toes but I decided to do a dip manicure last time. It looked good, but one of them popped off two days later without me even doing anything to it. I can also see the other nails lifting and I don’t even work with my hands. The technician also forgot about me and was doing a million other things while doing my nails. I was getting the manicure for about an hour and a half because she left me to sit so many times for extended periods of time.

I went to Contempo nails as a first time customer and the nail tech Nina treated me very well asked me how I would like my nails and did exactly what I asked for. I had little to no wait time and they took great care of me. I am excited to say this will probably be my go to nail place from now on!

Ive been here twice now for a manicure both times. Mixed feelings about them but willing to try again since theyre in my daily travel pattern. Arrived a Saturday morning the first visit and was sat immediately, received a good manicure with shellac. A month or so later I called for an appointment with my mom and I. Made the appointment for 11am, arrived 5 minutes before. After 15 minutes they sat us where we waited another 10 minutes and still no one came over. We walked out. Although it was a peak time and weekend day, we had an appointment. They were very overbooked and took many walk-in customers. I went back the next day by myself and still waited about 15 minutes before being sat. I wouldnt recommend coming here if youre in a hurry.

They were all so very kind at the salon and Kelly was so very sweet to me and extremely talented too. I love they are open later hours so was able to get in at a time I had open in my schedule.

Horrible! Super rushed job. I was rushed to pick a color, wasnt even asked what shape I wanted (I hate square shape, but thats what she gave me) and they look awful. DO not go here. Expensive bad service. Now Ill have to find somewhere to redo my dip. Waste of money. And I was so looking forward to having my nails done after a year of not because of covid. Sad.

Really good place, my wife and I will be back for pedicures. ( I would have like to have more of a foot massage, I take what I can get) Also, our heals are still a little rough after their filing (our heals are not bad). I had my first manicure (no clear coat lol) wasnt bad, I wont do it again because I can do it myself and save $15.Will try another place to nail spa shop just to see if there is a better place. As I said in the beginning, we will be going back.

I did the mani/pedi combo package. I loved how they had the plexi glass up to divide everyone from each other. The pedicure was amazing, the girl who did mine took her time and did a great job. The only reason i gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because they had me stay in the pedicure chair to do the manicure and I had to twist my back weird in order for her to reach my right hand. I wish they could just move to the proper side. But otherwise it was an enjoyable experience.

Won’t be back! $140 later and I actually have to get them redone.I came in with beautiful long coffin nails and that’s all I wanted, instead they cut them way shorter. Couldn’t do the design I asked for and my nails are square instead of coffin!Also the lady was rushing and she cut me! I’ve never had anyone get so close to my skin that I got cut.I gave them a two star because my niece nails turned out pretty but I don’t like places that are a hit or miss.

Enough is enough. Ive been going to Contempo for over a year. However, this is the THIRD time my dip powder nails have turned out horribly. I pointed out how rough and dull they looked, and the nail artist said, Oh, its supposed to have texture. WHAT!? When I pointed out the fact that the swatch had no texture, she just stared at me. No offer to fix them. Nothing. Dont waste your time and money. They sure as H*ll dont value it.

Made an appt, still had to wait. Got dip nails, they left the clear coat dip all over my skin, nails were think and uneven. I have had dip powder nails many time before,, never had them look like this.. Rush job, didnt care.

I have gone to several different nail salons around the city of Omaha and I have found this one to be my favorite. I do not get my nails done often because it is fairly expensive (especially as a broke college student!), but I preach of this nail spa. The employees are genuine, careful, and clean.

Quinn is great. First time here she did a neat, fast and beautiful paint job all while paying attention to me and talking if I wanted to. She even fixed my nail I broke the next day for free even though I broke it being a dummy in a doorway. I told her it wasn’t their fault and she didn’t charge me anyways! Large open space and tons of pedi chairs for when it gets busy. Love the openness and had a good convo with another lady in the waiting area while waiting after walking in randomly

The nail tech are so sweet and are phenomenal at their job, the service was quick and the craftsmanship of the nails were just simply perfect. They’re able to do the designs of your dreams and give you the trendy nails you want that other salons can’t do. Went with my mother for a pedicure and the staff were great. Friendly, fast but not in a get out quick fashion, and very good at their work. The interior of the salon was clean, the tools were sterile, and the decor was nice. Had no problems whatsoever and got a wonderful pedicure.

I’m a RN and I’m very picky about where I have my nail care. Hands down this is thee best place in Omaha! Very clean and the pedicures are hands down the best in Omaha! I highly recommend LEO there. His massage is incredible! If it’s dip nails you want Tammie is PHENOMENAL! They are professionals and back their work completely! If you are unhappy (and you won’t be!) they are! I would never go anywhere else!

I’ve been coming here for a good year or so, and while most of the nail techs are great, do not get the woman in the first desk. When she is not stopping mid-manicure to wax someone’s eyebrows, she’s constantly distracted by monitoring the other people in the store or greeting customers. Not that these things are bad when they don’t effect the nails themselves, but everytime I get her, something about my acrylics are messed up because she isn’t focusing on one task.

Very clean space with many options for manicures and pedicures. Highly recommend. Definitely one of the best in West Omaha.

Frustrated that the individual doing my manicure spent the entire time on the phone. He frequently stopped what he was doing to play a game on his phone. Very unprofessional. Due to him being distracted he cut my fingers several times. I ended up with an expensive messy manicure. Will not be returning.

I was in Omaha visiting family in the middle of July this year. On a whim, I decided to take my daughter and my mom to get our nails done. The experience there was amazing! All of the nail techs were very kind and seemed to really care about their work and customers. I highly suggest the shellac for your finger nails. I have had it done at other places before and they say it lasts longer, but it never turned out to be much longer. It has been month since getting my nails done at Contempo and I still dont have a single chip in the paint and they still shine like the day I got them done! My nails have obviously grown out, but even with the ends exposed, it still hasnt even begun to peel away from the nail! I am throughly impressed! I know that I will be visiting this place again, every time I am back in the area! Thank you so much!

Lee! Lee! Lee! He takes his time and does a fantastic job on my nails every single time. They are never too thick, I never feel like I have sand underneath them, and each nail is shaped like the others and is the same length as the others. I wont go to anyone else for dip! Bonus: hes really nice!

Ive been with Tami the manager for 4 or 5 years. I have never been disappointed. If you clearly state what you want Tami will oblige. Very clean, friendly service every time. When you find someone yo like, best to make an appointment so you dont have to wait. Love this place.

I was one bad experience away from never getting my nails done while I lived in Nebraska again. But then I found Contempo! They dont nickel and dime you for every service, and they ALL do great work. Lee is amazing! I get my nails dipped and they are always on point and last until its time to get them redone. Kimmy is awesome! Shes quick and very friendly. My daughter was amazed at the experience she had compared to her old nail salon. You WILL NOT be disappointed!

I came here on a whim to get my nails fixed from a previous salon. I called 15 minutes ahead and they said they were busy but could fit me in! It’s right by my work so the location is great! When I arrived Tammy greeted me at the door. I waited for 5 minutes and then decided to check out their shellac colors. After 10 more minutes she was ready! She talked me in to getting dip because it is stronger and lasts longer. I trusted her word and went for it! She did AMAZING and my nails now look strong & FABULOUS! I will definitely be coming back! It only took her 40 minutes for a acrylic fill! 🤩

I started going to this nail salon 4 weeks ago. Tonight was my third trip. The staff is so nice and friendly. They took the time to explain to me the different nail choices. Before going here I researched many salons and read several reviews. In the end I chose this salon and I’m glad I did. I have been very happy with the results. I get my nails done every 14 days and the color lasts with no chips. I could probably go three weeks apart but my nails grow too fast!! This is a FIVE STAR salon!!

I hate giving only 2 stars because I usually love going here, but yesterday wasn’t too ideal for myself or my daughter. We had appointments but we still felt super rushed. My toes look great (thank you) but my nails are just o-k. I have shellac nails and they have little bumps around the edges, my cuticles bled and the ends of my nails weren’t properly polished so I feel like they’re going to start chipping at any time. My daughter feels the same way about hers. My toenails themselves look beautiful but my nail lady had a phone call in the middle and she took the call, and instead of stopping and excusing herself, she stayed on the phone and tried buffing my feet as she talked. My entire pedicure was not good. Massage was super short and not great and I just did not get the treatment we have received in the past. Again, felt super rushed and I didn’t feel pampered like a mom of 4 about to go on vacation should feel. Afraid I’m going to have to have my nails redid while on vacation and we paid $165 total for the two of us already. :( super bummed.

I’ve never been disappointed with this place. Friendly staff who do a wonderful job with my nails! Great customer service. Any time I’ve gone somewhere else because it was closer I regret not making the trip out! I couldn’t recommend it more than I do. :)

Based on my experience today, I do not recommend this establishment for teens. The work they do seems to be decent quality, no different than the other places my daughter has gone, but they are bullies to teens!I took my daughter and her friend to this location for my daughters birthday. The girls wanted to get their nails done and have lunch next door at Hu-Hot. My girlfriend and I didnt want to hang around for 90 minutes waiting for them so we chose to pay for lunch and the nails so we could run a few errands.We met with a gentleman and discussed what the girls wanted. My daughter wanted acrylics and her friend wanted powder of some sort. Im a dad so Im not sure I have the terminology right. Regardless, they wanted different things. So, we discussed the specifics and paid for the services up front with a 25% tip. Acrylics and powder dipped nails, pre-paid to be completed after lunch. I repeated this to the host for clarity a couple of times before we left.After lunch the girls went back to Contempo for the service. My daughter 18 years old is non-confrontational. She explained that she wanted acrylics like we had agreed to but the staff member said no, she was getting powder. After trying to state her case my daughter gave up and let them do what they said. Again, shes very non-confrontational.When I picked her up she was upset so we discussed this with the host. He said the he misunderstood but wasnt willing to provide a refund. After pressing him he did offer to re-do the nails for $10-$15. Obviously my daughter does not want to go back but I scheduled a follow up appointment for tomorrow. She may change her mind.Obviously Im VERY disappointed that the girl who provided service would bully my daughter into something she didnt want. It would have been much easier to suggest or discuss options. I have no idea why they wouldnt adjust. If it was a cost issue, just say so! My daughter had cash to cover the difference.Very disappointed. If we go back to get her nails fixed Ill post a follow up on that experience.Follow up: My daughter decided that she did not want to go back to this establishment so well look elsewhere in the future.

They take really good care of you at Contempo. Im always happy with my nails when I leave and the pedicures are so relaxing! I highly recommend them.

Paid 40 dollars for the most second-rate pedicure Ive ever gotten, the jets fell off the tub in the chair while I was sitting in it, the lady spent no time at all on anything she was doing, and they routinely burned me with the hot rocks and wax. This place is all about shellac and nothing else. Dont bother if youre going for a pedicure without shellac. Also, they completely botched my mothers toes and feet (which she paid a separate 40 bucks for); some were too short and some were too long, they were squared when it was not asked for, there was nail polish on one of her toes, and dead skin still hanging off another. Go anywhere else.

It’s the best place I have ever been to for nail and pedicure service. I’ve never been disappointed. People that work there are so nice and eager to please. There isn’t anything that’s to difficult, I go every two or three weeks. Highly recommend this nail spa you wont be disappointed.

I got my nails done yesterday by Vinny and they are amazing! It only took 45 minutes but.they came out great. Listened to whst.lenth I wanted and shape. I recommend going here.

I love contempo nails! Great service and friendly staff. They have a great selection of gel and dip colors. I’m always impressed with how clean the store/ instruments are and I leave happy with my nails every time.

They rush through their pedicures and manicures. I took my friend here for her birthday and she needed a fill. I watched her get her nails done and it was less than 15 minutes she took to get her fill. The lady rushed and the results for a pink and white fill were not acceptable. For the prices they charge u would think they would take more time and deliver top notch results.

First time getting a dip nail treatment for my daughter and I. They were very friendly and concerned with our satisfaction in their product. Got the best hand massage I think I’ve ever had at the end. Definitely going back.

Ive been to many nail salons in Omaha, and this is my favorite. Its always clean, staff is polite and services are top notch. This past year Ive got Nail Dip every 2-3 weeks and I havent even begun to use all the powders they have to pick from. Its the first salon that doesnt chip off for me. Also they take their time with pedicures, which are AMAZING!

I love this place! They can always fit me in right away. The past few times I’ve had Tammy and and always does an amazing job. She is quick and her work is very well done. She always gets my nails shaped perfectly and they are all the same thickness. This time I did the ombré nail and showed a photo for inspiration! She NAILED it!! 😏(no pun inteneded) I will definitely be back!!

They did a nice job with our nails but it was $40 for a fill. They charged $35 for a fill with gel and charged an extra $5 to replace two nails- one that did not need to be replaced. That price was not on their pamphlet- it said gel fills were supposed to be $20-30 and then it ended up being much more than I had anticipated. They also charged $40 for taking off acrylics and putting on shellac. We could have had this service done at another salon for just as good of a job for much cheaper. They also proceeded to diss their competitor across the street, Top A Nails, because of their lack of employees, but that salon does a good job for a fraction of the price. It was incredibly unprofessional that they dissed their competition for a solid 5-10 minutes and asked us multiple times for more referrals when we had already brought in one person that was a referral.

Very friendly owner , small shop. Just ask them and they will try to do it.It starts with a nice hows your day? and friendly welcome at the door.My wife was very happy with her bling nails and Im so relaxed in their pedicure spas. Ask them for different type of herbs to mix into the spa...give it a sense of tingling. Will tell our friends about this place.

I came in here a while back for dip powder nails and they were beautiful! I was very satisfied since Im very picky on who does my nails. However i came back in a week ago to do a new shape but still a dip powder and a pedicure. My pedicure was AMAZING! Unfortunately, a different person did my nails and he was terrible! Wont be back anytime soon. But thats just me and my fear of having to go through that again. I paid 85$ in total for manicure and pedicure.

I bite my finger nails to little stubs. So having my nails done can sometimes be incredibly painful and hard to bare. They were super gentle and were constantly making sure I was okay. Not only are the nails beautiful, I also can finally pamper myself with no pain or embarrassment.

The first couple days I was in love with my nails. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. After a few days a nail came off and many were already peeling. I came back and they rushed fixing them for free. The new nail didn’t match the shape of the others and they simply painted over the chips. It’s been over a week and another nail has come off and all of them are chipped and peeling! I’m disappointed and wish I could get them redone.

I called ahead a couple minutes to see if I could get a full dip set over my lunch break and was told to come on in. I was impressed by how quickly I was seated, the quality the provided, and how I was able to be in and out during my lunch break.

Went last week to have pedicure and shellac manicure and it by far is one of the best I have had in Omaha. (Trust me I have visited quite a few!) They took their time, extremely clean, competitively priced and excellent customer service.

My 8yr old daughter and I had our first visit today. She loved her mani pedi! I saw the tech take off her design and redo it because she bumped it just a little bit. That sold me- they are very meticulous about there work. My pedicure was the best I’ve had- loved loved loved the service and the outcome!

I am in town for work and decided to get a pedi by my hotel. There was a bit of a wait getting in but I was compensated by getting a free design. They were so friendly and did such a nice job! The spa is also wonderful on the inside!
