I went here for TMS services only. After years of attempting to get better with medicine and counseling, TMS showed amazing results for me. I am very happy I went and could not recommend it more.

Very unprofessional staff. My insurance was dropped in the middle of treatment. I had a balance due, but when I offered to make a payment, they declined and in a very harassing tone said they needed more than I could afford a month or they would send me to collections. I was there in part for financial insecurities!

Terrible am going through withdrawal from Xanax due to side effects called yesterday and never got a call back from Bob. Spoke to Travis the director this morning and was told by not taking my medicine it goes against Drs advice. What a joke. And today I received a certified letter for refusing supposed treatment for a drug which gave me a severe side effects Xanax, when I called for help they ignored me and called all my prescriptions. What a joke this place is they really dont care about the patients health Bob Lundholm.

I knew that I was going to be in good hands, solely based off their professionalism. They quickly resolved any issues related to my insurance and worked effectively with my pharmacy. They really went out of their way to accommodate any complications that arose. When going through a tough time, you already have enough on your mind. The last thing you need is additional confusion and difficulty. The staff all the way from the front desk to the doctor I saw, made the experience positive.

I cannot say enough good things about Meridian Mental Health. Dr. Hannigan has been the biggest blessing, helping me handle anxiety, especially with working during a pandemic. She is so knowledgable and I really appreciate her expertise. She even takes the time to give a listening ear and solid, practical advice.Travis is a huge help when I need to get a message to Dr. Hannigan. A huge thank you to Dr. Hannigan, Travis and all of your staff!

If I could give zero stars I would. Unknowledgeable staff (“psychiatrists”).I was extremely overmedication and had an allergic reaction/was not able to metabolize the drug from the GeneSite testing Sara recommended. Spent 6 days in the hospital after Sara put me on this medication because the allergic reaction was so bad. Travis (owner/manager??) was extremely rude and unprofessional when trying to resolve issues. Don’t y’all think a place that is treating ppl with mental health conditions should be able to treat their clients with respect. This goes for the front desk also. As for Jennifer, she is great and extremely helpful.

I love this place! I see Bob, a man of few words but dont let that fool young he good at his job. My life has improved so much over the last 2 years of going here. I started seeing them for the TMS treatments. I cant tell you how much these treatments changed my depression... truly night and day. The office staff is amazing and they really are a great team. I cant say enough kind words about them.

I have been going to Meridian for a couple years now, and I am feeling better than I have ever felt. After dealing with depression and anxiety off and on, it finally is under control. Every staff member Ive talked to has been very helpful. The providers take a personal approach which has made the whole experience comfortable and genuine. Would highly recommend!!

What a joke. First, Dr. Bob writes me a prescription to obtain an emotional support animal, 2 1/2 years ago. When I asked for a copy of it recently, there just flat out isnt any record of it. When they are legally required to keep patients medical records, active or not, for 7 years. To top it off he sent me home after monthly appointments with different samples of ANTI PSYCHOTIC and anti anxiety medication like they were candy or something. My emotional well-being was disturbed for months and months being treated like a psychological guinea pig. THE WORST experience.

I recommend Mark Aksamit and his office on a regular basis. He is phenomenal. If he says hes going to do something, he does. He always returns my phone calls. He understands my condition, and treats me like a human being. Ive had a lot of psychs, and hes by far the best one! Proud to say hes my provider. Great bedside manner! Very intelligent and knowledgeable. The office staff is excellent, too.

Dr Baker was booked a month out for my $350 appointment. I accidentally overslept and tried to reschedule. After voicing my frustration and missing one appointment, they told me I was not welcome to do business with them. This firm is more concerned about profits them actually seeing patients for mental health.

This place is a joke. I moved from out of state and wanted to continue care. First, you never see a physician, only an assistant. Second, I was early and my appointment started 15 minutes late despite being right after lunch. Third, you’re not involved in your care. They chose what to prescribe no matter what your previous experience has been.I knew 10 minutes into the appointment I wasn’t coming back. I couldn’t believe they billed my insurance almost $500! I paid my copay but what the heck? I wonder why premiums are increasing. She stared at a computer for an hour asking questions she was reading & checking boxes. Finally, since the director DOES NOT LIKE DOGS, no therapist is allowed to write ESA notes. The fact that the reason is because the firs or simply isn’t a fan of dogs told me a story. If you’re a fan of dogs, you get it. Anyone that doesn’t like dogs.... eh yeah I’m out on that.I went to UNMC, they are fantastic. Not only do they truly listen but UNMC wants you to be involved in your care and feel comfortable about the plan. I highly recommend UNMC & highly do not recommend Meridian Mental Health.

In the years I was a patient here, I only got worse. The meds they gave me made life way more difficult and prolonged recovery. They took weeks to respond to my pharmacy on routine refills which caused me to run out of several important daily medications at a time and go through forced withdrawals to the point where the pharmacists strongly encouraged finding a new doctor. Yet if I missed a payment I was notified immediately and often. They have no interest in helping you recover or get better, they only stand to gain as long as youre still sick. I lost a decade of my life thanks to their malignant indifference. 0/10.

This is a nice facility with a seemingly nice staff at first glance. My wife suffers from several mental illnesses. One of which is Agoraphobia. This makes it difficult to keep an in office appointment on occasion. One suggestion would be having phone appointments or accommodating postponement of a session until she is able to leave the house. This did not happen. Instead we received a letter advising that my wife needs to seek an alternate mental health provider. If you or a family member suffers from mental illness than you are aware of the difficulties in finding a doctor who you trust and can feel open enough to receive help. I can sympathize with the office regarding scheduling conflicts but I would hope for a more understanding posture being a provider of mental health services. I would strongly suggest finding an alternate location so you can avoid the rejection/dear john letter from what is supposed to be a place of understanding and compassion. The letter received disgusts me on such a deep level that I only wish to save others from this facilities actions.

Great facility, wonderful providers. I was a client of Meridian Mental Health for a while. The only reason I stopped going was because my new insurance deductible was astronomically high, and I also got better.I feel a strong need to point out that Trekkies comment of not being able to do phone sessions isnt a valid complaint. I work as a receptionist for a psychologists office so I know for a fact that these offices CANNOT bill phone sessions through insurance. Its not that they didnt have the compassion, its just not a thing they can do. If they made exceptions for people with mental illness missing appointments because of their illness, they would never be able to keep appointments.

Ive been going to Meridian Mental Health for 3 years now and cant say enough good things about them. Ive seen many psychiatrists over the years and none have come close to the level of treatment I get at Meridian. From my first visit with Mark Aksamit, I knew he was someone who would listen to what I needed. He made it clear from the beginning that he would never give up on finding the right medications and treatment that would work for me. Theres usually a lot of trial and error involved, but Mark has always encouraged me and assured me that everyone at Meridian was behind me 100%. Ive seen Dr. Hanigan here, too, and she is also very caring and an excellent psychiatrist. Steve and Bryce work with TMS and I feel so fortunate to have had them for my treatments which helped me a lot with my social anxiety. The entire staff here is kind, sincere, and passionate about what they do. Im very lucky to have finally found a mental health facility that is truly devoted to giving their patients all the support they need. I highly recommend Meridian Mental Health.

It’s funny others have posted about issues with billing at this place. I’ve being seeing bob for over 10 years and now , for the first time I’m getting all these billing issues! The left one voicemail saying they are sending me to collections, when I have receipts showing proof of payment ... why did they just not call ? Regardless they never called. I was running late from work and they billed me 100 , regardless of calling over an hour in advance ... place sucks !

They refused to treat me because I owed them money. I told them I was filing bankruptcy against them and they charged my moms credit card anyway. So not right!
