They did a pretty good job on my bathroom and I will recommend for all bathroom projects.

I had a kitchen/laundry remodel and flooring replacement and the whole experience was perfect. Becky was outstanding in helping me select products and organizing every step of the whole project; which went so smoothly. All of the people associated with McKeans who worked at my house were very professional and courteous. McKeans is an excellent company and I would recommend them to anyone.

McKeans installed new flooring in my home and I cannot say enough good things about them. The entire process from finding what I wanted to having it installed was easy and I had no issues. The floor is an extremely quality product and looks great! The installers were courteous, professional and extremely respectful of me and my home. I highly recommend this business for any home renovation needs you have.

Very very happy with the work McKean’s did on our basement project. The travertine wall tile and LVP floor they installed looks amazing. The staff was great to work with starting from sales to installation. I definitely recommend McKean’s!!

Our builder had us work with the McKeans folks when our house was built in 2018. We found their sales people and their craftsmen (tile, carpet, and linoleum) to be top notch. Easy to deal with, very knowledgeable, and the craftsmen took pride in their work, even pointing out issues with the work that other subcontractors had performed, which had to be corrected so that the products Mckeans supplied could be installed correctly. Highly recommend them.

Thought they had a good reputation and I have been trying to buy locally during Covid to help all the small businesses here in Omaha. Had told Dave and Becky thats one of the big reasons we decided to go to them instead. I remember being happy for them when Becky told me they hadnt been hit by Covid as bad as it could have been and doing ok. Found out later they didnt care about helping me, one little DIY job, who drained the last of her savings just trying to fix her shower.I like to know why someone gives a bad rating, here is why: I had a leak in my shower, causing me to have to completely replace the tile in a bath/shower enclosure. As Covid has really hit me financially, to say this was bad timing to have tiles start falling off, it was the worst timing. Due to our budget I only bought materials. I thought at first they were awesome. I tried to be prepared and ask all the right questions, and they were so nice answering and when I asked if they could, they helped me determine how much I. I had never tiled before, had no clue. I only bothered them 3 different trips, about 2 hours total to pick out type, color and ask my questions. We realized 3 weekends into it we were 1 12x12 sheet short of accent tile, it was the Monday of Christmas week. When I called to order the sheet, whoever answered lied to me and said manufactur was closed for the holidays and sorry, itll be January bye. She didnt know I had called the manufacturer directly, not even 20 minutes before. Ordered from another company down the street who got us one sheet by Thursday morning. Thats when I found out the deal we got at McKeans was over $4.00 a sheet more. We trusted them to help us since they knew more, they seemed happy to help. In the end, we were one sheet of access tile short, 1 full carton of subway tile we didnt need over and the wonderful feeling of being an idiot for putting a little more importance on staying local than I should have.

We need to replace our carpet with new flooring, and I came in not knowing anything about flooring or what I even wanted. Both Tim and Theresa were extremely helpful and answered all my questions thoroughly, and I felt like they truly listened to all of my concerns. They were also both patient and kind and helped me pick out some samples to take home. I am so happy I came here instead of Home Depot or Menards as I don’t think I would have received the same attention as I did at McKean’s. I look forward to continue to work with them as we make these big changes with our home!

We had McKeans install tile and carpet in our new home. I am so glad we had them to do all the work since it all turned out spectacular. The installers truly take time to make sure all the fine details look amazing. I have used many different tile companies/ installers in the past which none of them compare to the quality we have received from McKeans. We worked with Ryan who was fantastic at helping us hunt down some very specific wants.

McKean’s installed our kitchen and bathroom countertops. We love the way they turned out. I am VERY picky and Ryan and team were quick to answer questions and keep me informed every step of the way. Will always use them for our remodel needs.

This family-owned business treats their customers right. Their prices for quality merchandise and workmanship are competitive. When they say they will be at your house, they are there. Their installers are professional and responsive to added requests finishing the jobs on schedule. I have already recommended them to a friend.

The flooring itself looks great and was installed quickly. The finish work leaves a lot to be desired. Multiple trips were needed to get them to miter/cope a base shoe corner. (At first they said nothing could be done) They dont finish the edges of the base shoe at all. There is different colored base shoe on the same wall. (Not stained the same or something) Where two pieces of shoe were needed they put the seams/short runs right next to the highest traffic areas instead of hiding them in a corner. The base shoe in the kitchen doesnt match the flooring, cabinets, or other base shoe in the house. (refused to fix 2x) There are large gaps under the door trim. (refused to fix) In preliminary discussions they said they would figure something out to make it look nice. After they got paid it turned into nothing could be done. A vent was broken and they just reinstalled it with the freshly broken slat jammed behind the vent itself. If you are looking for laborers to install flooring they will get the job done for a price but dont expect the fine details to look nice. There were also staples half hanging out on the stairs that my wife caught her finger on and had a bad time with. (We have a toddler and are thankful one of us found it with a bare foot first.) The door to outside was left open a lot letting lots of cold air in. The longest continuous length of time was ~20 minutes without a single person around, door just hanging wide. I would not recommend them as attention to detail and quality is very important. They are ready to be done with you the second the last piece of plank is laid.Despite the nice reply on this review from McKeans - They actually were made aware of this before they charged the second half of the bill to the credit card. They had no intention of actually making good on their promises.

Very hands on in helping me make my decision on vanity top and grout color for shower tile match beautifully with new hard wood floors and trim in bathroom! Explained every question I asked and I learned a couple new decorative ideas I never knew! Cant wait to go back when we are ready to do our kitchen!
