I would love to see if I can afford to live in theses beautiful apartments . But I tried for 2 days and can not get anyone to answer the phone or to call me back . They look nice and safe and I wish I could talk to someone. .

While some of my experience at the Larimore was positive, I wanted to write about all sides of my experience for anyone considering living here, and what Id recommend if you are considering the Larimore.Six months into our lease, we started hearing our upstairs neighbors constantly - not just footsteps and running, but crying, yelling, and more. Plus, our entire unit would vibrate and shake, so it wasnt just their noise, but the noise from our unit shaking. One weekend, they were running around, banging their floor and shaking our unit so much, that my mirror fell off our wall and broke! And it was constant noise at all hours of the day , even up to 4AM. The office tried offering help by calling the upstairs tenants and addressing noise concerns, and we talked to our neighbors too, but even after all of this, the situation just barely improved. Most of the noise we heard after reaching out was from the unit itself creaking and shaking, but it was by far the worst upstairs noise I have ever had in a rental, and Ive lived in everything from student housing to a 100+ year old house. This, paired with the traffic from 132nd street made for near constant noise. I talked to another tenant who said they never had this issue and had lived in the Larimore for a couple years, so I have no clue what makes a unit particularly good or bad for noise.On the positive side, I do think the office staff is kind and tries to be as helpful as they can for the most part. Dax was especially helpful and kind when we were touring. We lived in a semi-renovated unit and this was a good balance for cost + unit quality for us. I also appreciated the gym and underground parking.I think my only other cons were things you may run into in apartment life anywhere, but just things to maybe be aware of. The units are pet friendly which I loved, the main complaint I have was just neighbors not picking up after their pets, so the main courtyard (and even some balconies) often had dog poop laying around for days. Our unit also needed a lot of maintenance fixes, but they hired new maintenance staff during our lease and he greatly improved response time and the quality of fixes.My only advice if you are moving here is to try and get a 3rd floor unit, if you are okay spending the money for it. I think it has gotten pricey with rent raises compared to other apartments, but overall I wouldve considered renewing our lease had I not had the experience with the horrible upstairs noise.

Been here for a little under a year! Greatamenities. Staff is great. Maintenance ordersare done in a timely matter. Close to the interstate and tons of stores! Traffic does get extremely heavyduring Christmas, but the decoration around us is beautiful. Snow removal could have been better, but we did have a heavy season.

Like that they have heated parking garage under the building. Apartments are nice and clean but a little small. Large closets in the 2 bedroom and big laundry room and kitchen is spacious.

Lived here back in 2014 for an year, Marissa use to manage the property! Not sure if she is still.., She is the best, she was so nice to us, well managed. We really miss this place!!

My husband and I moved into a one bedroom here and have loved it so much that when we found out we were expecting a baby we decided to stay and transfer over to a two bedroom. The management team is fantastic and I have enjoyed working with Michelle and Dax in the leasing office. My favorite thing about this property is the convenience of the elevators, trash chutes and the under ground heated parking garage. The garage is attached to the elevator lobby and the management company provides carts to help you easily take groceries up to your apartment. The garages also rent below the price of detached garages that aren’t heated at other properties in the area. Fresh Thyme, Target, Walmart, Hy-Vee and Costco are all within a 5-10 minute drive of our house. Plus we are close to a ton of restaurants off of Maple. The location is great and the apartments are located just outside of the Hillsborough neighborhood in a really safe area of Omaha. I love the layouts of the apartments and love the finishes. The balconies are also HUGE. The only thing I wish the property had was a pool and dumbbells/medicine balls in the fitness enter. We have a gym membership so it’s not that big of a deal, but it would be a nice bonus!would definitely recommend living here. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

My 3rd year here, Ive noticed many changes. The phone is now being answered, new parking lot, new roof, snow removal, salting and sanding is now taking place as needed. Painting the buildings and power washing our balconies also changed the appearance which speaks for itself. The cleaning crew is also doing an incredible job, i thanked them. Instead of them coming on the weekends theyre cleaning the 1st part of the week. Then the building is nice and clean all week. My repairs are done correct the 1st time and in a timely manner. Lund, thank you for the additional security youve added here at The Larimore Apts as well.

The place is absolutely beautiful! I think we will rent an apt there if we dont find anything else close to the center.

Have a relative here. Quiet surroundings and no real obnoxious tenanets (lookin at you subwoofer in the parking lot guy)

Its pretty nice place I was visiting and had my dog out an older lady approached me and said your kind of people don’t live here.

Poor maintenance. Work orders not done. Furnace filters not changed in 6 months
