Just because there is water in pool and tables in the area to go swimming doesnt mean that its open... especially for paying renters. Its only for show! They left the pool water in pool for 2 years without cleaning it blaming it on COVID-19.

Management Carolyn Johnson was very dismissive I felt I worked there for her my entire application process. I spent two months trying to finalize my application and their response time is slow and they just seem not to care to assist ultimately I had to go with a different apartment complex good luck with service at this place.

The staff is always there to help if you come in to the office, its harder to reach them by phone because they are always busy and the best way to communicate with them is through email or the online portal. Homes are nice there is cameras and security on site and there is a pool park and community gym/clubhouse.

I would like to amend my review with the Aspen Grove Apartments. Lately things changed expeditiously! The halls are very clean and the noise has dropped down to a minimum. For that I would like to give thanks to Eli and Amy in the leasing department. They are very nice and professional when you contact them directly and they get things done! They are the go-to people here. I greatly appreciate them for all their hard work. :)

I would like to give Amy, Diamond, and Eli a review they have been helpful with me and helping me when I needed things. I don’t think anything is wrong with management what so ever. I do feel like it’s hard to handle every single resident and their wrong doings at the complex. When I had issues they fixed it immediately.

Staff is amazing when you get ahold of them. I recommend emailing them instead of calling. They rarely answering the phone and the voicemail is always full. Really nice apartments but poorly built. The walls are super thin. During the pandemic I’m working from home. You can literally here the kids yelling from outside on my phone calls. There’s individuals who knock on your door and run. You can’t have things delivered because they will get stolen. There’s graffiti on the walls. Also huge roaches that you would see on the Discovery channel in the hallways. The doors slams every time someone come and go. All of the doors in the unit squeak when you open and shut them. The hot water runs out fast when taking a shower. You have people constantly pulling the fire alarms day in and day out. There’s people who constantly takes the fire extinguishers and spray them all over the halls. There’s people breaking into vehicles at night. I’ve heard from another resident that there’s a person who throws out racial slurs and the management disregards her complaints. Could be a really great place if all of this didn’t occur. If I could give it half a star I would. If you’re paying full rent I wouldn’t recommend renting an apartment community such as this. I’m relieved to be moving out. These were much better than my last apartment but came with too many other problems.

Their new management team never answers the phone, the voice mail is full, no after hours emergency, no system 88, no dog park, kids area, no grills, I moved here April 20, 2018, u can say what you want, although they dont clear the snow, I had a flood outside our door. The person who lives above me smokes and throws butts down, alcohol bottles down, furniture down, etc. The management doesnt care. I have mold, the paint is chipping, the cold air is coming thru our windows. The carpet is coming up, Ive had at least 8 mice, with pics of them, roaches, bigger than my Great Dane, suppose to have moved to a 3 bedroom, due to my daughter having a baby never rec.ed an inspection letter, or from housing until the day after the inspection, I have a Brain Injury and they dont do anything about the noise from the tenant above me, I mention Im making a complaint through the City of Omaha Complaints, and less than one month later they dont want to renew my month to month lease?? Month to month, and to be out in April 20, 2021, if I was on a month to month they would give u 30 days. Because I have a brain injury I must be that off, or ill educated that its because the repairs not completed but completed on my resident portal. My daughter had her baby a week before getting inspection for a 3 bed , and we have given them notice in Feb. 2020. They dont care. Save your time and headache, pass this apt. Complex.

We have lived here for the past 2 years and just recently renewed our lease for another year. We have loved living here and love the leasing staff. The staff is very helpful anytime we call with questions and they have always made us feel welcome. The maintenance staff is great and responds quickly to any maintenance issues that have come up. We have loved our stay here and look forward to our continued lease!

I love living here! A great quiet place to call home. The property is well manicured and the pool area is nice. I have lived here for almost a year and have not had any issues. If you are looking for a quiet, quaint, welcoming place, you have found it!

I love living here it is very peaceful, it feels like I am living in my own home. I feel very safe living here. I come home late at night or leave early for work. The maintenance workers are on top of there game. When I put a work order in it gets done the next day. Everyone who works here are all very friendly and they stay on top of their job. I would highly recommend Aspen Grove it is a great, awesome beautiful place to call you home.

Apartments look very neat and very well maintained by the management. Maintenance request are lightning fast and usually fixed the same day. Having a storm shelter on property gives me extra security. I highly recommended!!

Update: My dishwasher has been broken for weeks now, ever since i moved in. Keep getting told someones going to come out but they never do 🤷🏽‍♀️they never answer the phone nor do they take African Americans seriously

Nice facility, but needs better zoning enforcement for parking for First Responders access. Security provider after hours also barely seen on site. Needs improved.

Excellent staff in leasing office. Jenny and Eli are extraordinarily professional and friendly. They welcomed me from the first day i stepped in their office and kept me informed every step of the way through my application/approval process. The units are excellent and spacious enough too.

Nice place to live.  The grounds are always kept clean and well managed. The complex is comparatively quiet and the residents are respectful.

I just recently stumbled across Aspen Grove and I am so glad I did!! I was very happy with the information I received before I went in and Tina answered all of my questions once I arrived. The apartments are beautiful, updated and very well priced. Its an extra bonus that the ladies in the leasing office are so awesome and friendly! I highly recommend Aspen Grove Apartments!!

I loved living at Aspen Grove! The staff was so nice and willing to help whenever needed. The apartments were clean and quiet. It was a wonderful environment and I will recommend them to everyone.

This is my updated review for the complex after living here 9 months. Were paying for amenities that we dont even recieve yet, mailboxes, pool, playground, club house. The first week of living here our washing machine didnt work and our dishwasher leaked. Maintenance was and still is really good at their job. He is always helpful when we need something. Tina and Erika were amazing. They had a relationship with my daughter that made us feel welcomed when we came into the office. Now that they are gone I feel like things have gone down hill. Were never greeted coming into the office, they have attitudes when we pick up our packages. My car has also been broken into three times here. Luckily nothing stays in it. Our apartment complex smells like cigars from the people below us always smoking, even though its a no smoking housing. Its going downhill fast.

The lady in the office is wonderful. She showed me the two bedroom model, and she showed me how the one bedroom model would look. These apartments are brand new and they are just in a very scenic and beautiful place. Once everything is settled, there will be no eye-sores, itll be a beautiful view from the pool and wonderful landscapes throughout. Definitely deserves,a 5-star rating!

The management is courteous and helpful, and the apartments are amazing! I honestly have no complaints and would recommend to anyone!

***UPDATED REVIEW****Since Tina and Erika left almost a year ago, I would like to say how amazing Elias has been with us. They are really nice and accommodating. It is still a really nice place to live. The maintenance workers are always fast and friendly when I ever need something done. I definitely would recommend to anyone!These apartments look so nice! They definitely add a good vibe to our community. Not to mention how nice the office ladies are! I came in with my daughter who was naping in the car, the moment I sent her down she started getting fussy. She reassured me it was okay, she has her own kids so she understood what I was dealing with!

The office staff made me feel at home and they were always helpful and willing to help in any way.

Hi I wanted to say that Tina is excellent she is always available and ready to assist me in any way she can. I couldnt ask for a better person to represent your company. She makes sure things get done in a timely matter.

Walls are very thin to were you can hear other tenants complete conversions, you can hear children playing in the halls and stair wells, no carpet in the living and dinning area so there for I hear the children upstairs running from room to room, at all hours to were you can not sleep. The sheriffs are called here everyday if not every other day. Theres so much more.

Emailed them twice about trying to setup a tour and get pricing and they never responded.

I just moved here a few months ago so far it cool I like the how green it is over here.

My boyfriend & I both requested information via the website/messages left at the office over a month ago, nobody ever got back to us. We even went to the complex, hoping to catch someone to speak to, but there was no one available. It really is a shame because everything looks beautiful, staff is just impossible to contact.

I am pleased that I selected Aspen Grove as my new place of residence. Tina is extremely knowledgeable and made the process seamless. I would recommend this property to all of those looking!

If i could give this place a negative star i would in a heartbeat. THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. My friend filled out an application back in November gave them the information they asked for as well as a 200$ check for the deposit. She never heard anything back from them and then in December her check was cashed and to this day 2 months later she hasnt heard anything from them. We have now contacted Channel 7 news about this as well as contacted the BBB.She doesnt want a stupid apartment there just answers as to whats going on and where her refund is.

Apartments are Very Very Small and still being Built. Mud and Dirt is everywhere and not very Well Insulated. Senior Living Units are being built directly behind the Original Apts, not as much Mud and Dirt. I hope the Insulation is better than the Apartments.

This place sucks. DONT MOVE HERE. Ive lived here since August and I just got my mail key 2 weeks ago. Today is April 3. Everything here is cheap and the place is still being constructed below POORLY. Im out when my lease is up. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE

The staff in the office was a big help, came in on a saturday with lots of questions that she was able to answer. She explained that the apartments was not completely done but had alot to offer as far as parks for the kids and animals,pool exercising room etc,it also comes with a washer and dryer! Though I was over income I would recommend these, great apartments and great customer service.

Can never reach them by phone, no matter how many times Ive called. Their hours are wrong on their website and voicemail, wasting peoples time to come try to see them. Please get these fixed for the sake of your customers and community. Also, reach out to google maps so they can have an updated address on there so people dont get lost.

I’ve hesitated to leave this review because I’d hoped to have already ended my relationship with Seldin. However, I’ve left 3 or 4 messages over the past 60 days regarding the return of my deposit, have called numerous times unable to leave a message due to a full mailbox, and I’ve yet to have a call returned. Considering that I lived out boxes for the 11 months and didn’t furnish the place, and made sure to have staff do a walkthrough once I’d move out all my things — at which time staff confirmed my deposit would be processed immediately — I’m wondering why it has taken over two months and I’ve neither heard nor received anything.I get that things happen, but this is coupled with a terrible experience I had when I lived there. I lived there for 23 days before my “new” hot water heater was fixed. I believe it took 18 times that I reached out in person, by phone, through work order, via email, emergency dispatch, and eventually escalating to corporate to get this fixed.A corporate manager apologized for my trouble and I never heard from the office staff again. I wasn’t compensated, didn’t receive a discounted rent for that month, and was never told how the mysterious head of maintenance (who never seemed to be around when I was told they were scheduled to be on site) didn’t catch that I had a new unit with old parts inside. This is highly illegal, being that a “habitual” space includes hot water to properly sanitize your body, clothes, dishes, etc.I have been extremely patient and understanding since my first encounter with Seldin staff last spring, but I want nothing more than to receive my deposit back as promised so I can part ways with this corporation. Please let me know when I can expect for the company to remit payment.

I’ve emailed and still nothing I’m trying to lease a three bedroom but the communication is very well stopping me from doing that. I would like to tour it but I never get a response ..

Office staff is very friendly and the model looked great. However, nowhere on the website or on the three occasions I called, was it mentioned that these are income based. Wasted time taken off from work.

When I have had to call for any service its promptly addressed and fixed without any problems.

Overall, it’s nice living in a new build apartment but it’s obvious that corners were cut in terms of quality of supplies used. Floors and walls scratch easily, my bathroom door wasn’t mounted properly, there’s huge cracks in plaster along where the windows are installed, patio deck very sloppily stained, etc. Takes a while to get things fixed and maintenance guy talked to us like we were idiots (yes we tried to turn the ice maker on, no it still didn’t work). But the worst issue with this complex is the horrible communication and outright lying from the leasing office. We moved in to our apartment in June and were told the building would be complete in August and it’s january with the building still not done. We’re never notified when the office changes location so I never know where to get my mail, we were never notified that our mail would no longer be delivered to our building and we’d have to get it from the post office and I’ve had numerous packages lost or stolen due to the fact that no one has any clue where mail is supposed to go. The women in the office are nice, easy to talk to and friendly but there is a HUGE degree of professionalism missing when a lot of these issues could be solved with a simple email or printed notice on our building doors, or at least answering the phone when called during business hours or responding to messages. I’m not asking for above and beyond, I’m just asking for people to do their job.

I went in last friday 11/18. Leasing agents took our application fees and told us that we should know by Monday if we are approved. I have been constantly calling even left messages with Seldin company. No one has contacted me. Moved here from Coloradosprings and on section8. Everything is time sensitive. I feel like they just took my money.

I am disappointed in the outcome so far of Aspen Grove. The word luxury that was used in the description is absolutely false. I have done my research and found other properties constructed by the same company but if you compare them it would be like night and day. I know these are tax credit, low income, based on your income apartments but for it to be brand new, still under construction, I expexcted so much more. Obviously the budget was mishandled or it was cut and the whole complex speaks for itself. Why would you move tentants into a complex that is not complete with landscaping and all the amenities that were promised and then do a rushed and sloppy job to get us in faster? Im guessing so the apartment tentants can help fund the completion of the complex? Its sad because I think the complex is being completed with no care in the design, craftmanship, construction, etc. A good company would ensure that all its properties built were done with the same time, budget, and care as their more expensive properties.There is mud everywhere, on the white walls of the hallway and the carpet. There is only one set of stairs in each building and they are very narrow so you have to take turns going up and down. I dont know what paint is being used but it seems really cheap. The hallway doors were painted white but you can still see the original dark grey color through the paint. The construction team left nails and screws everywhere, all in the parking lot, hallways and patios where a child can easily pick them up. There is trash everywhere outside from the construction workers and residents, no one bothers to pick up. I have dents in my door that I didnt put there. I like how the wood paneling floor looks but its not real and very easily scratched and dented. Its the floor covering that resembles wood panels but in reality is one whole sheet covering the whole floor. I keep finding corners that the construction team carelessly didnt measure the floor covering correct and left parts of the floor uncovered or overlapping. There are big gaps in between the floor and the wall in a couple of places. The patios are all wood panels the kind you can get a splinter from easily. Not glossy, finished, sanded...with gaps in between so if something was spilled above me it would fall right unto my patio. The roof of the buildings does not extend over the patios so we can not be on our patios if it rains. The paint on the inside walls is rough and is easily scratched almost resembling chalk. If feels like there should be another coat of paint or something. When I moved in the base boards had mud on them? As I am trying to clean mud left from construction off of the base boards in my brand new apartment, whatever cheap paint used is rubbing right off. If you have read some reviews dated more than 5 months ago that gave good ratings, its probably because the first couple of buildings got carpet everywhere except for the kitchen and bathrooms. The remaining buildings only have carpet in the bedrooms which is contributing to the biggest problem I have with Aspen Grove.!! The walls are so thin that I can hear clear conversations from my neighbors. Every step, jump, run, ball bounced or toy car rolled sounds 100× louder against the hard floors. If they would have put carpet I think it would have absorbed alot of the impact against the floor. They should rethink about placing children, and heavy dogs above people. I cant take it anymore and my son has autism that makes him sensitive to loud noises. When Im home I turn on the ceiling fan, diswasher, washer and dryer to drown out the noise.

When I first moved in I LOVED my apartment...then I lived here 😂. The floors look wood but it’s just the floor sheets you get at Walmart lol they scratch easy and I have to move the furniture around often or else it leaves dents in the floor. We’ve been stepping in snow damn near calf deep and slipping on ice (burried under snow) well before the blizzard. They claim the plow company has been through “several” times in the last few weeks, but I haven’t seen the fruits of that labor. The morning after the blizzard when most plow companies had already been out all night,since it stopped snowing at like 11pm, the parking lot wasn’t plowed until like 9 am. That made me late to work because I was stuck in the entry way of the parking lot for 2 hours until one of the plow trucks had to shovel and then push my car out of the pile of snow it was stuck in. The walls are paper thin so we hear everything from people getting in and out of their cars to full conversations of the people above us (the little boy starts running laps around 10 every night). The wind sounds like it’s on attack mode and is gonna bust through our windows which have NO insulation and it gets so cold in the apartment. We’re paying for amenities that we don’t have, NOT EVEN MAIL BOXES! I was told when I moved in the walls in the hall were going to be painted and that was in September lol there’s mud smeared on the walls since October. When the doors close to get in the buildings and the separate levels they slam so hard the apartment shakes. I wish I could fast forward time for my lease to be over lol I really hate this place.

Was told I had the apartment brought in my deposit gave them my section 8 voucher waited two weeks and then I called in to see when the inspection was and that is when they told me I didn’t get the apartment and my voucher expire on 04/ 01/2019

I have been trying to get ahold of the leasing office for months now. Ive been calling and have showed up numerous times to the office, and I havent received a call back.
