Went to repair a zipper on a pair of boots. I was told the zipper needed to be fully replaced, as the ziptape was fraying too much. Paid 50% upfront ($35), and rest to be paid upon pickup. When picking up, I can see that first of all the zipper has not been replaced (but he claimed it has been), and the repair looks terrible. The zipper is all wavy and wobbly and the leather is pulled and stretched out along the whole front. After a lot of back and forth, I am forced to still pay $20 if I want to pick up the shoes at all. Terrible experience customer service. He was not willing to admit that he did not manage to get the job done properly.

All of my boots have visited Steve’s at least once, fast service and good quality work. My shoes always come back looking like new!

The encounter at this place of business was disappointing...after reading the reviews, I took my black/white shoes in for repairs... I was told “what do you want me to do with these?”...the in step/sole is dried out....

I had a watch battery replaced here and it died again 10 minutes later. I think he used an old or used battery.
