I am very pleased with the repair being done for my 8mm wheat chain necklace. The clasp was broken and I was unable to locate a local jeweler who can repair it. Although the whole process took five weeks, I was able to check for status on the website from time to time. I lost one of my David Yurman diamond cable earrings and was determined to replace, although style no longer current. On suggestion by a rep at Chicago store, I contacted NYC and arranged to send the other to be matched. The price was reasonable, actually less than retail cost 6 years ago. After prepayment and 2 months, I just received them and am really happy with results! My only issue would be that my email requesting status when they were 2 weeks beyond expected delivery went unanswered and I wasn’t able to reach them by phone.

DRS immediately acknowledgd receipt of the bracelet and kept us informed every step of the way.Upon receiving the bracelet, the bracelet repair was exceptional. Price for repair was shocking. $564.00 to replace one tiny gold star and rethread the chain. No diamonds or other repair involved. And I sent in the bracelet in early October and it arrived today, January 27. David Yurmsn must find a different repair vendor. They did shine it up — $564 worth of shine. My local jeweler would have done that out of grace.

I was pleased with the professional cleaning of my choker. However, I was disappointed that it was returned with a jewelry bag much too small for the choker 🤨.

I was directed by David Yurman to use this facility to have my charm repaired.I was happy with the professionalism of those who answered my phone calls and the constant communication about the status of my repair.I just received my repaired charm. It looks much better than when I sent it in—brand new appearance with the repair done well.

We bought the three row black diamond rings as our wedding bands about 5 years ago. I’ve had stones falling out of the ring within months and sent it back to Yurman for repairs. This issue continued to happen and I started using a very reputable jeweler in the area because it was just easier and I wasn’t without my ring for weeks with shipping and such. I reached out to Yurman to see if there was anything that could be done to correct this and they wanted more then half of the cost of the ring to replace it. I should note, my husbands ring is still in perfect, brand new, condition. I obviously just got a defective ring that I will now have to live with and continue to get repaired in an average of 2-3 times a year as the stones continue to fall out. I like my dog tags and brackets but will probably not be buying any new Yurman anytime soon. Especially anything that costs 3k and needs replacement stones every few months. I worked with Rose and she went above and beyond to help me because I shipped the bracelet by postal service and had an issue with the post office delivering the item but DRS came to my rescue ! David Yurman declined my request to repair/replace a faulty necklace having spent numerous thousands of dollars with them over the years. Having completed the review I received a phone call from Haidee Jacome at DRS NY and she could not have been more lovely, professional, helpful and eager to please. She asked me to send the chain back to them again as they wanted to make things right for me and they certainly did. At no cost to me they did a wonderful job at repairing my David Yurman chain. Im very impressed with DRS NY and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anybody. Initially, I had given this place 5 stars, but when I went to return- I was treated very poorly.I was thrilled with the results of my initial repair last time, but I was also told that if anything happened within 6 months of my repair I could bring the piece back in to be re-touched.This was great as I spent a lot on the initial repair. However, when I just called I was told that I would have to mail in my ring ( absolutely not it is a diamond ring that is very important to me, would never consider mailing it)- and that the warranty I was given would not hold up.When I initially got this repaired I dropped it off, and was never told that I could not come back.

I have a few pieces of jewelry that I got cleaned and it all came out looking brand new! I got my jewelry back fast so I barely had to wait. They did an amazing job. I will definitely be going back for other cleanings and repairs.

After our pup eating my wife’s nice jewels, then, finding the two ear rings and one finger ring with a borrowed metal detector in my yard. The pearls were eroded and the silver was black and bent. I am extremely pleased with a recent repair of a special David Yurman necklace that I sent to DRS NY. They stayed in close communication with me about the cost and time needed to make the repair. I am awaiting the return of the necklace -- any day now -- but I know I will be pleased.P.S. The necklace arrived. Simply gorgeous. However, the clasp is very stiff and hard to open. I called the repair office and was told to keep using it for a few weeks -- as it should loosen up. BUT if it does not, let them know, and they will send me a label to return the necklace for an adjustment. Very good PR.

This is the official service center for all David Yurman boutiques. I have had several DY items repaired by DRS NY and couldn’t be more pleased. Fast and fabulous service and repairs. From a broken post on an earring, to broken clasp on a men’s bracelet to resizing a ring (up). Rather than simply enlarging the ring with a bar of metal, the jeweler was able to match the same rope pattern as the rest of the band. I did learn that if you have a repair for one of a pair of earrings to send in both so the one not broken can also be refurbished (a/k/a polished to look like new). Otherwise the repaired one will look fabulous and put the other to shame. Highly recommend!

Remarkable experience. DRS had to hunt and search for a virtually impossible to find pair of replacement clips for vintage earrings and did not give up till they found them even though it was a minor job. Then, because the earrings were in too poor condition for them to clean and polish to their standard, they refused to charge. These folks are craftsmen who feel an obligation to satisfy a customers need and to deliver work that they are proud of. Rare and wonderful.Update. Brought two other items to DRS. Just got them back.Perfect.Again needed some imagination and time to solve a problem which was no problem for them. Charges were unreasonably low and stuff was returned all clean and beautiful.
