Chelseas hidden gem! I went here to see about having my best friend / roommates watch repaired. Even though the watch was cheap, and probably not worth having repaired, the watch technician understood the sentimental value and ensured me he would take care of it.Their service was both fantastic and competitively priced. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Excellent service. Jamie is very friendly and knowledgeable. I went in for a new battery and left with a complimentary pressure test and better instructions on how to operate my watch. I got a battery replaced here. Price was on par with what I expected ($20). It was done quickly and the person behind the counter was very polite, but I just noticed 2 scratches in the band. Granted, the band on my watch is not brand new, but wasnt expecting it to come back with more damage. You can tell it was from whatever they used to hold the watch in place while replacing the battery because the marks are symmetrical and perfectly straight.

I dropped off my watch for battery replacement at 11:45 a.m. When I asked the very nice woman behind the counter when I should pick up, she said 2:10 or 2/10 or two to ten (minutes?) -- I dunno what she said. I had her repeat it several times. They get five stars because she was the friendliest person Ive met in a NYC shop in 20 years. I havent picked up the watch yet; I guess Ill go back tomorrow and see if its ready.

Great service! It cost me around $18 to replace the battery in my watch (was told the new battery would last 4-5 years). Shop owner is friendly and efficient. Took less than 10 minutes.

Friendly, fast, well priced. $10 to replace a broken spring bar for a watch band buckle. The owner Jamie (whose first shop is in BK), said it would take 4 minutes. She did it in 3. Also, hands down the nicest watch repair shop I’ve ever been to ever. Two comfortable chairs, side table and a few beautiful display cases in a small, beautifully appointed room. You just want to hang out there, have a nice glass of Scotch or a cocktail and talk about the finer things in life, like watches — and how NYC must have the coolest little watch repair shop in the world. Next time I’ll ask her to take her time with my broken spring bar just so I can soak up the vibe before getting back to reality.

Always high quality work and friendly service. They replaced a scratched watch face perfectly. They have also patched up ripped inseams along my boyfriends pants and sewn on patches for my EMT uniforms. Worth the prices if you need to ensure a quality job.

This place is awesome and has reportedly been in its same location since the mid-80s. I brought in two off-brand watches for battery replacement and they were fixed in about 10 minutes. I stepped outside to get a coffee and when I came back, they were ready.You will be given your old battery back but you can also stick them right in a jar on the counter and CWR will recycle them for you.Each watch cost $14 - a steal for NYC - and are both working perfectly. This is definitely my new go-to place.
