My wife and I visited today and the jeweler fixed her wedding ring right on the spot with no charge. He could have charged plenty but it was a freebie. Thank you for your honesty.

I get all my jewelry from Alex’s jewelry. Jake is a pleasure to work with, he goes above and beyond for his customers. I’ve sent him examples of jewelry my spouse wears and he always has something perfect in stock that matches her style. I’m not the best at shopping for gifts but Jake has lifted that burden. I’ve also used Alex’s jewelry to fix all of my damaged or broken jewelry and they are very reasonable for repair work as well as getting the jewelry done in a timely manner.

This jewelry designer/repair store is AMAZING. Totally helpful. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The guy that helped me was very knowledgeable and very sweet (I think his name is Nick (tall guy), please forgive me if Im wrong, thats what old age does to ya LOL). This place is unbelievably professional, and their attitude and candor is just as great as all of their fine pieces. I came in asking for a resizing of a Fendi ring. They told me I would be better off sending the ring back for an exchange to the website( they could have just taken my money to resize it!) He pointed out the missing stone i hadnt noticed, as well as the fact that the embellished logo was bent. I ended up buying a beautiful piece there and couldnt be happier! Definitely my go-to guys from now on!

Sadly not the best place to visit. Over priced for a resizing and they didnt seem to really show any care for the client or the ring. Took a family heirloom in for a resizing and they gladly took the money but didnt advise on the other things that should have been done to protect the diamonds. Just in it for your money. So sad....

Went to Alex’s Jewelry on Lexington Ave today and had a great experience! I needed to have my engagement ring (a family heirloom) resized and appraised. While I felt nervous about the possibility of things going wrong, the manager (Jacob) was very understanding, informative, and definitely knew what he was speaking about. He was also extremely patient with my excruciating attention to detail, and assured me that they will fix any problem that could potentially arise in the future. When I left the store, my ring was looking the best it has since the 1950s, and fit me perfectly to my preference. I feel that this is a trustworthy jeweler who formally noted an accurate appraisal for my unique ring. I have also left the store with more knowledge about diamonds and jewelry, which I greatly appreciate as well. In addition to an outstanding and more than reasonable price for having a platinum engagement ring sized while I waited in the neighborhood, the shop texted me to alert that the ring was finished an hour early! It was easy to find metered parking on Lex! I am looking forward to bringing more jewelry to this trusted establishment! Thanks again!

Over $200 to replace the jump ring on a $20 silver necklace and fix one set of small pearl earrings? Goodbye. That’s highway robbery even in on the Upper East Side. Oh and let me mention that they also ruined one of my pearls by drilling a hole through it. They tried to tell me they didn’t see the hole when I dropped it off but I am 100% positive that it was not there. But they “replaced it for free.” Unless you’re a 90-year-old Upper East Side woman in fur looking to buy gaudy jewelry, avoid this place like the plague.

Alexs resized my engagement ring and polished it up to look like new. I couldnt be happier with the customers service I received and the attention to detail. I will make the trip to Alexs every time, I love that New York still has great family owned business like this, its hard to get this level of service from a chain.

I brought my solitaire diamond ring and my wedding band to have them both resized. One needed to resize down and the other resized bigger and I couldn’t have been happier at the job they did. Very impressed and happy. You couldn’t tell any resizing was done. Amazing job. Thanks guys.
