Norm was amazing above and beyond! I am so grateful. My car broke down on the highway and Norm answered the phone after hours on a Friday, said he could work on BMW and I could tow it to him that night. I wasnt able to get it to him til after 11PM and he still took a look and figured out it was the fuel pump. He then worked on his day off to get it fixed to get me back on the road. I was just passing through. My trip got delayed a day and it could have easily been 5. I will never forget the kindness and generosity of spirit that was shown to me. I was traveling to the West Coast and broke down in Nampa Idaho. I was stranded but Norman was a lifesaver. My transmission had gone out. Norman figured out the problem, stopped what he was working on, spent an hour tracking down a transmission and was able to get it shipped early in the midst of Covid. He then worked through a holiday weekend to get me back on the road. Ive never had better service from a finer gentleman ever. in addition the price was very fair. I purchased a vehicle at auction in Namla, ID and flew out from Michigan to pick it up. When I picked it up I scanned it to see why the check engine light was on a d found that it was a misfire. I needed to leave town the next day to drive the vehicle 1900 miles to my home in Michigan. I called multiple shops and none of them could fit me in for days/weeks. I called All Auto and Norman graciously offered to fit me in first thing the following day. I took it in and he was able to diagnose and repair the vehicle in just a couple of hours, and less expensive than I think most shops would charge. I was on the road quickly and the vehicle made it all the way to MI with no problems. I would recommend All Auto to anyone in the area. Quality workmanship and friendly.

My wifes Ford edge over heated as we came Inyo town from Jerome..I was forced to stay the night at a hotel...woke up and started searching mechanics to get this fixed..my normal mechanic blew me off..so I call all auto and he was pretty helpful..I drove straight over and he took a look and said my entire fan went out..so he gave me the quote and got the stuff ordered...took all of maybe 2 hrs..but while I waited we had to leave the hotel room...so he went and got my wife and 2 kids and brought the. Back to the shop where we waited all of 20 minutes and the car was fixed and we were headed home...super nice guys and quick...cant say thank you enough...found my new mechanic..

I called them about 11.30 am after finding them on google search n read a few reviews. All were good with 5stars. My truck was broke down in Fred Meyers parking lot. Near gas pumps which i had just filled truck to the brim. Norm answered n calmed all my worries by assuring me a tow truck would come rescue me. Within 1 hour a truck did arrive and haul my truck to thier shop. It was my guess the fuel pump had went out. I assumed it would take days to fix it as thier shop was busy n full of other customers so i knew Id be last. They did diagnostic n quickly emailed and called me to confirm it was fuel pump and also offered to fix it that day. I agreed n by 5pm Norm called to tell me it was done. Fast friendly and very professional workers they are. I will take all my auto needs to them from now on!!

Needed an emission test done and its the first place listed on the official emission testing card and 2 minutes from my work. I’m a mechanic myself and called a few times earlier in the day and had to leave early from work. Place never answered but showed open and emission testing until 5 so I show up and place is deserted and cars covered in dirt like they had been sitting awhile and no one around and then I see him pop out of nowhere. Ear buds in his ear turns around and had just kinda a blank stare. I asked if he had time to do an emission and he says nah the machine is giving me issues. I ask if he knows anyone near by and he nods his head no and thats all he says. Not one bit of customer service in any way. If your grumpy dude dont act grumpy to customers. Went to tims auto repair just down the street instead. Great service and customer service. In and out in 5 minutes and acted happy to see me.

Bought a Ford fusion hybrid still new to these types of cars. We thought we had a problem with our transmission. Called ford and they wouldnt even guess without us paying 150 to look at it and they didnt have any Apts till end of July. Took our car here and they went fpr a test drive with us. Found out that it was just running different cause the a.c. was pulling more power. I cant say enough how great these guus are. Professional service and they are willing to help you as well. We will always bring our vehicles to these guys when something needs done. I will recommend these guys to anyone and everyone I know.

All Auto Repair fixed my myriad of car problems! I needed my radiator fixed, spark plugs replaced, and an emissions test.They fixed those and then called me when they ran into another problem, he told me what it would be to fix it and let me choose what I wanted to do. I decided to do it and they fixed it for a fraction of what the dealer was going to charge me. They called frequently with updates and gave me an accurate quote at the start of the service! Would definitely go with them again!

Norman was great, quick, and VERY reasonable with my Jag XJ8. Needed transmission fluid and inspection for leaks. He made sure the leak was gone and filled it up, with a cheap price! Thanks so much!

We recommended this place to our son after using them several years ago. They saved us from a new wiring harness that the dealer said we needed when in fact ours was just loose. This time we dropped off the same vehicle after numerous attempts on getting the check engine light off. When dropped off we stated the new parts wed already put on including all 8 ignition coils. They ran some tests and insisted that it was 2 of the coils. We still didnt feel that was right since they had all been changed out. They changed out the coils and then called with the good and bad news. Bad being it wasnt the coils, good being we found out is the computer. We decided to pick up the car after receiving the quote on replacing the computer. We were were charged for the new coils they installed even after we told them we didnt think that was the problem. I understand paying for labor, but not 2 new parts that had just replaced two new parts. I guess its just part of the diagnosis process. The folks we delt with were friendly.

I just moved here from Nebraska and needed some work done on my car. I had a reliable mechanic back there, so I was apprehensive in trying to find someone just as reliable here. I took a chance with All Auto Repair. Not only was Captain Kirk easy to work with, but he did a great job on my car. They went the extra mile by even washing my car for me. Wow! Now that is impressive. 5 stars and a high recommend.

Norm ran a quick emissions test and engaged in some great conversation while he was at it.

They did a master timing kit install on my 2007 Ford F150. My engine was close to catastrophic engine failure. The followers were worn and one had completely failed. The camshafts were scarred up and needed replaced. So they also installed new camshafts, roller followers and hydraulic lifters. They notced I had a lite duty radiator even though I have a factory tow kit installed on the truck. I had the replace the radiator too. I also had a Meling high pressure high volume oil pump put on. With all that said, the price was very reasonable way less than if I had suffered catastrophic engine failure. I definitely recommend All Auto Repair. Kirk and his Ford guy are amazing.

Called kirk yesterday cause my truck was leaking coolant. He had us bring in our truck on sat 10/4. He was able to get the problem diagnosed and fixed same day. I am so happy with how they did. They were professional and communicated with us the whole way. I will definitely be returning to this auto shop with future problems. My husband and I are so greatful for kirk and his guys. Highly Recommended! John is your go-to guy on the phone and Norm is a magician! Ive had mine and my daughters car treated at this mechanical hospital, never dissatisfied with quality work or cost. Very reasonable and give prices up front. So hard to find a good auto shop that wont rip you off. Ive been in Idaho 20 years and finally feel like I found the shade tree mechanic my husband was.

When my truck broke down I was terrified to find a shop and have to deal with the repairs and being out of a vehicle for the 1 to 2 weeks at the least I new it might take. When I arrived the staff was friendly and took steps that made me feel more comfortable with leaving my truck there. They took videos of the trucks condition and provided details on prices of the inspection to insure there were no surprises. I dropped my truck off the day before the scheduled appointment and they looked at it early and had it diagnosed that night!! They were able to get the part and the truck fixed the next day!! I needed my dually fixed quickly to repair the rear main crankshaft seal. John and his team got me in quickly, and suggested that my issue may be something less time consuming and less expensive that what others had told me. It turns out that they were correct, which saved me $400 in additional cost. Absolutely great service, a fair price for the work, and John kept me updated the entire time that my truck was at their shop. These guys and this place is amazing!! They got me right in and Norm did a great job and communicated to me what he was going to do beforehand and gave a quote that they adhered to. Then, when I went to pick up the vehicle, John had washed it and was cleaning the inside of the glass! Who does that? I would literally hand lead people in there if I could! They towed My car when it left me stranded on the side of the road in a matter of 20 minutes, they took it to their shop, let me know what was wrong with it and pricing then got it fixed for me in no time. Beyond what we expected. During a terrible experience (which a majority of the work was not completed after a month) having the vehicle at the dealer for repair. John and Norman stepped in to take over the rest of the job. The entire engine and parts were removed and stuck in a heap in the back if the car when it was delivered to them. They understood our budget, communicated with us regarding the progress. Super nice and knowledgeable, almost like talking to a buddy on a personal and upftont level. We had our car back within 1 week. It was even very nicely washed and cleaned inside and out. Thank you guys so much! We really really appreciate everything you did for us.

Hes over charging on OEM parts and I called him out on it and he beat around the Bush. Then thay are over charging when they retest after the parts is installed and it starts thats there 2nd Diagnostic fee hes double charging call the dealer for part prices or auto zone. And there should only be one Diagnostic fee. I told them what part I wanted changed and they diagnos my truck with out my authorization and he wants $110 dollars for something he had no permission to do.

Word of mouth is a powerful thing. I had a friend who recently bought a used car (Nissan), and took it to this shop to have them access the work that needed to be done. They quoted him a price of $1500 which in turn would fix everything and take care of all the codes that were coming up during the diagnostic. 5 minutes after picking up the car, the engine light turns back on....My friend called asking why the engine light turned on, when they had assured them the issues were fixed. The owner then said to bring the car back, he looked at it and said there would be more repairs that needed to be done that were never talked about in pervious conversations. They said there would need to be another diagnostic done on the car, which would cost them another $110!My friend then went back and forth with the shop for several days, which ended in the shop manager becoming very hostile.Needless to say, in the end nothing was fixed that should have been, and my friends is now out $1500 and the car still doesnt run.

High marks for honesty! We came in for a second opinion, after being told our car needed over $2400 in repairs by another shop. The other shop specifically told us we had a leaking water pump and oil pump.All Auto Repair completed a diagnostic and found 1 small problem. They confirmed the water pump and oil pump were *not* leaking as we had been told. They completed the small repair and the car has been working great ever since!! Job well done.We will definitely bring our cars here first next time!!! Nice to know we found a mechanic we can trust.

Horrible Service and way over priced. Im perfectly capable of doing my own mechanic work but didnt have the time so I trusted these guys to run a smoke test (specifically requested) and all they did was scan my car and replace the gas cap (which I told them I had already done). Talking to the new manager (because John is no longer with the company) he accused me of harassing him because I was upset that all he could offer was a discount on more services. Why would I pay for MORE services if they didnt even do what I initially asked for? Never coming back. Read other reviews while you can because they have been deleting the negative ones to boost their ratings. I am far from the only one.

Our car was silent when we turned the key. We had it towed to s shop which could not find the problem. They said to go to a place that had a good electrical tech for a 2001 Chevy Cavalier. I went online and found AllAuto Repair in NAMPA on Barger had good reviews. I called and Kirk said they would tow our car and work on it Thursday. They called to confirm the problem and texted me when they started. They sent an estimate and I authorized the repairs. It was done by noon Friday. The invoice explained everything they found and repaired. The price was a lot less than I expected and they did the work efficiently and thoroughly. KIRK was very knowledgeable and showed me the damaged replaced part. I trust them and will use them again. I give them 5 stars.

I cant begin to say enough positive things regarding this shop. Earlier this week, my family and I were stranded with a vehicle that wouldnt start. We ended up calling All Auto Repair and John not only arranged the tow to the shop, but he also came and picked us up and shuttled us and our groceries back home to Caldwell. Cars seats and all! The estimate that was given to us to replace our fuel pump was very fair, and the work was done quickly and efficiently. We had our vehicle back within 24 hours. We appreciate the service we received immensely, and would definitely recommend to anybody who is needing their vehicle serviced or repaired.

Took in my Saturn Outlook with a bad oil leak. Was afraid it would be some major gasket repair requiring us to drop the engine at a hefty price. Turns out, it was just a leaking oil sensor. I went in convinced I had a major brake issue. Told me over the phone to expect to pay $600+ if it was what I made it sound like. When I brought it in, turned out there wasnt a problem at all. They could have easily gone with it and done the service anyway but they were honest and upfront. I wouldnt have known the difference. They fixed a leak they discovered along the way and I ended up paying far less than I thought Id have to. They set up a maintenance plan for my car with issues they noticed but that werent super urgent. What I loved is that they didnt try to push the repairs on me while it was on the lift! I trust these guys 100%. Wont take my cars anywhere else.

So nice to find people that are honest and fast. We came here last week to get our car worked on that broke down. They were very straight forward on the phone about the price to look at the vehicle. They diagnosed the problem in about 1.5 hours and called for our approval of work before they began. The car was ready the next day. We did not have a surprise bill and were not pressured to do work we did not need. I will be coming back here. An honest mechanic is hard to fine.

I recently brought a car in for service with the objective to prioritize engine light codes as well as diagnose and or repair the issues at hand. Immediately after repairs the engine light came back on, in which they said bring the car back. They took a quick peek at it while indicating I will be spending more out of pocket for repairs. Right then I knew something wasnt right, I took my car to a certified Nissan repair center to get a proper diagnosis. Nissan looked at the car and found several issues that contradicted AAR, the most important being the state of my Catalytic converters. Kirk told me my catalytic converters were fine but Nissan painted the real picture for me. Those catalytic converters are fried, I was also mislead on the state of the valve cover, as Nissan also found indication of a leak in the valve cover. Now the impression Im getting from AAR is they are above Consumer laws, they grossly misdiagnosed the car, costing me more money so I am currently in pursuit of several avenues to get my money back. Nissan expressed concern on the real issues at hand, as well as the estimated cost for repairs. AAR dug me into a deeper hole with pointless repairs such as coil packs and a tune up. That all could of waited if we would of succeeded in our objectives, which again was prioritizing codes and diagnosing/ clearing them. I will never go to this business again!.*UPDATE* I do not know this Kim person, I speak for my self. Your constant slander on me is unwarranted. and how ever you slice it you failed to properly diagnose p0430, the mechanic is at fault not the consumer. If someone is on a budget you cut to brass tax and find out if the car is worth repairs by addressing the MOST IMPORTANT codes first. You dont shortcut and ignore repairs in fear of some budget. If you need more time 4 proper diagnoses you call me and we adjust to a higher bill for further diagnostics. You didnt even know what caused my engine light to come back, you told your mechanic its probably that back sensor. . Failure to diagnose codes is on AAR not the consumer. The fact that your just now coming to the conclusion its the catalytic converters is a little to late considering your phone call to me during diagnostics stated good news the cats are running great. If you thought my cats were bad and addressed that to me we certainly wouldnt be spending $600.00 in coil repairs. The final bill and invoice will reflect exactly what Im saying. And Nissans invoice and Bill will reflect how it should be done at every shop.FYI, I did bring the car back same day I picked it up, I have the exact time logged and proof documented, as well as our discussion proving you told me the converters were fine. And again the only one who is harassing and name calling is you. This is a 100% legitimate concern to the consumers about the totality of what transpired and I will leave the facts here to speak for themselves.Nor did I ever specify a budget, and I just lost a $23,000 dollar car so believe me I can afford a proper diagnoses if one was offered and or given to me. But of course everything your saying is completely different then our documented messages, and conversations as well as the bill. No matter how many times your story changes the proof is in the pudding as they say.

They offer people who follow them on social media, free movie tickets for high reviews. DO NOT TRUST THEIR REVIEWS! We had gone in and after days of diagnostics, they fixed our vans A/C that was causing our battery to die. They had our car for several days and we got it back for 2 days and it died again for the same reason. They came up with excuses of why this would have happened and fixed that second reason (which was really the first reason) for free. This was after we had already paid them $1400 in the first place. So why am I here reviewing again a year later? Because I moved away and the A/C just went out in the same car. Strange since I just had it fixed a year ago, right? Well, the new mechanic looked at it and said did you fix this by yourself before to save money? And I told him that we had paid a good chunk of change for it a year ago. He shook his head and said, They put in a $20 part in your car. It is known to only last about a year. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?! I paid this mechanic $700 to fix it (he showed me his receipt and he had paid $400 for our new part.) and now I finally have a car A/C unit that will last longer than a year! If I could put signs all over this establishment to tell people to run far away, I would. Save your money and go to someone who is honest and will actually fix your car, without robbing you. This place is a joke!Unfortunately it was kind of a perfect storm of our car having troubles that were difficult to figure out and being swamped with other customers. Our car took longer than we had hoped, but All Auto really did what they could to make it up to us. They do care about their customers and want to make them happy. I appreciate that they were willing to make up for the perfect storm that we experienced.

These guys were the most honest and upfront mechanics Ive ever come across. Most places wont give you a quote over the phone which is understandable, but John was still able to give me an idea of what Id be looking at. He didnt try to scare me or intimidate me into a bunch of repairs. They knew what I needed done and stuck with that. They gave me a price before the work started and it was exactly the range he said. They gave me a complimentary inspection also. Never tried to swindle me even obviously seeing the desperate situation I was in. Other shops should be worried that happy customers and honest mechanics are finally here in Nampa.

My Chevrolet Impala was making a horrible noise by the glove compartment so i took it in to the shop in September for a diagnostic. I finally took my car back to get it fixed this month.John had my car back to me in a day which was great! I defenetly recommend All Auto Repair!

Save your self some money and go to a reputable mechanic. I took my truck in for an error code. Paid for diagnostics and unnecessary repairs because Norm could not diagnose the problem. I left paying over $500.00 and still have the same error code. I will never be back.

My truck suddenly started making a noise that freaked me out. Gave these guys a call because they are close to my office. They got me right in and figured it out in like two seconds. Turns out it was just the air intake got loose and was hitting the fan. Quick fix and they didnt even charge me. Certainly respect that kind of business, I will be coming back to get help again.

Heres a summary of my 2 experience with All Auto Repair and my wifes Mercury Sable:The first issue was with a squealing sound that would come and go as it pleased. We took it to All Auto Repair after looking up reviews on Google. My wife suggested that it might be an issue with a loose belt and that her father had told us that it could be the auto-tensioner. All Auto Repair told us that it wasnt the auto-tensioner and that the sound was caused by a faulty water pump.$800 dollars later we have a new water pump in her car. The squeal came back within a day or two. We took the car to her dad and he put in a new auto-tensioner. The new auto-tensioner fixed the problem. Needless to say, my wife was pretty upset with All Auto Repair. I explained to her that car problems can be complicated and that All Auto Repair went with the most obvious issue first.Fast forward to a few weeks ago. Her car is leaking fuel vapors from the passenger side, near the fuel filter and tank. The smell is filling our garage and we had to park her car outside. I take a quick look at it, replace the fuel cap and fuel filter. The easy fixes didnt work. So I suggest to her that we take it to All Auto Repair. She is a little apprehensive, but I tell her that theyll have the equipment that we dont and theyll find the issue no problem.They charge me a bit over $100 and tell me that the fuel leak is probably coming from the weld where the two halves of the fuel tank come together. Wait... probably? We were quoted around $500 for a new fuel tank and labor. They told me they had a smoke-machine. Did they not use it? I was immediately apprehensive and put off by the fact that All Auto Repair couldnt give me a confident answer to what the issue with the tank was, and after our previous experience with the $800 repair that did nothing, I decided I was going to tackle this issue myself.Keep in mind that I dont have a whole lot of experience with cars. I can change my own oil and thats about it. So I watch some YouTube videos, buy a bottle of UV reactive fuel additive along with a UV flashlight, and follow the instructions. As soon as I dropped the fuel tank (again, I have little to no experience at this point) I immediately noticed where the fuel leak was coming from. It was coming from the area of my fuel pump.The top of the fuel pump has a little plastic elbow that a high-pressure fuel line connects to. There was an obvious crack at the top of this fuel pump elbow. I didnt need a new gas tank; the tank itself was in terrific shape. I replaced the fuel pump, reinstalled the tank, and now my wifes car has been leak free ever since.All All Auto Repair would have needed to do was drop my fuel tank to discover what the real issue was. I had paid a little over $100 for what? To park my vehicle in their garage and come back a few days later to be given the bill and a free car wash coupon? They wouldve had me purchase and install a new fuel tank, which--not unlike the $800 water pump install--wouldve fixed nothing.YouTube, AutoZone, and my two hands did more than this dedicated mechanics shop could. I cant reiterate enough that simply removing my gas tank and using a pair of eyes wouldve given them all the information they wouldve needed to diagnose the real issue. The source of the fuel leak is physically above where they claimed it was coming from.I will never take another vehicle to this shop ever again.

They even took my car on test drives to confirm their repair was correct.I would highly recommend using All Auto Repair in Nampa, Idaho!
