My washer wouldn’t fill. The guy came out and without looking into the washer told me what the problem was and said that he needed to get a part. He told me it was in stock. I asked him if they delivered the part to my house. He said no that he would have to pick it up. He left around 11:45 am and he never came back! I had to call the office three times and each time the lady said that she would contact him and get back to me. I never got a call back on any calls. I had to call them. They told me that my part wouldn’t be in until Friday. I started to think I’d been SCAMMED!!! Because I had to pay him upfront. He asked if I had a check when I pulled out my debit card. He didn’t want to get charged the fee. I wrote him a check and he left. Since he never came back ( I called him several times and no answer) I called my bank to see if he’d cashed the check. They said he didn’t. So I had to pay $30 to put a stop payment on the check. How these guys got a 4.4 star rating I’ll never know. Don’t use this company, unless you want to go through what I did. If I could’ve rated them a BIG FAT ZERO!!! I definitely would have.

This company has been out to my home a few times now. I’ve always been super happy with them and said I would hire them for repairs even after our appliances aren’t under warrantee anymore, until now. One frustration is they only come to my area on Monday’s. It can take a few weeks to even get them out here. Then you have to wait for the parts they order to come in and the next opening they have on a Monday to roll around. They have always done a fine job so the wait was manageable. This time I was left with a dishwasher that still doesn’t work properly and was reinstalled so poorly the top drawer doesn’t stay extended, you have to hold it in place while you load the rack.I called the company hoping to get help reinstalling the dishwasher properly and was told they no longer cover GE repairs and to call the 1-800 GE number. They were just here two days ago! WTH?!So in the end, thanks for nothing.

Just had two service guys at my house for my Thermador double oven with a signal that the PROBE is being detected. They had no idea how to fix it, told me to order parts and they would come back and look at it. They are extremely incompetent and charged $95.00 for nothing. I wanted to take a brief moment to commend the young man, Roland, who came out to our place today to replace a dented freezer door we received from another company. Not only was he prompt, professional, and refreshingly cordial, but the extra precautions he took really impressed us. He wore a mask, shoe covers, and while inspecting the new door was so cautious about setting it down on our hardwood floor. Then while removing the full freezer bins he showed extra care in placing them gently on the kitchen counters without having to scoot anything across them. It is a rare gem of a technician that can pull off friendly customer service, quality execution of the task, and display respect for the home they are in. Youre usually grateful to get 2 out of the 3! I would highly recommend this company because of how he represented it. Thank you!

Excellent company! KitchenAid sent A-1 for a dishwasher warranty repair. A-1 called to set the appointment and then again the day before to confirm. The technician and a trainee arrived on time and were professional and courteous. They had the dishwasher repaired in just a few minutes and explained what was wrong and how they corrected it. I would highly recommend A-1 for appliance service and will definitely use them again.

We were NOT impressed at all with our service for a refrigerator repair. First, the initial service fee is $95! If they dont happen to have the part with them at that moment, then they charge you an additional $25 to come back and install the part after it arrives. Our repairman spent half of the appointment on the phone with the maker of our fridge because he wasnt able to identify the problem on his own. The repairman told us the electronic control board was broken and that replacing this part would fix the fridge. The part would have cost $300 and arrive in a week (as if we have a week to live without a fridge) if we ordered it through A-1. We found a new part from a reputable seller on Amazon for $150. I had read that if anything else in the fridge is broken, it must be fixed BEFORE the control board is replaced or the new board will simply short out. So before the repairman left, I specifically and explicitly asked him, Are all other parts of the refrigerator in working order and he replied I checked, and as far as I can tell, yes. I replaced the part myself (not difficult at all, a 12-yr old could do it, and I didnt want to pay an extra $25).Less than 24 hours after replacing the control board, our fridge was again broken with the exact same symptoms as before.This review would be 1-star except that the repairman seemed cognizant of the fact that the parts sold by his company are stupidly expensive, and thus gave me the part number to buy on my own.The bottom line: Unless you want to spend an insanely high amount of money for substandard service, go somewhere else.

Jason was very friendly and personable as he came today as he fixed a bad control on our dryer. We would be glad to have him over again in the future for any service needs.Update: we just needed the pump replaced on our washer. Jason was great and took care of our needs again.

DO NOT USE THEM! Absolute worst customer service! Had a technician come out through my home owners warranty, and he told me that they needed to reinstall the dishwasher drain line. He could not reinstall the drain line and said he would have one of their installers come out to fix it. Never received a call the day before they were supposed to come out. I called the day they were supposed to come, and was told Stacy would call me back. Waited two days, Stacy never called. Called back and was told she was on the other line and would call me back ASAP. After another (third) call and saying she would call me back, I still havent hear from her or anyone from A1. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME.

We have a LG Fridge that needed repair, we called LG, they sent A1 Quality Appliance to repair our fridge. We live in South Jordan, Utah, they have a satellite office in SLC, our repair was scheduled by LG, A1 Quality confirmed the appointment with us. The day of the appointment we received a voice message letting us know our technicians name and arrival time. Two very prompt and knowledgeable representatives from A1 Quality came, Dustin and Billy. They were on time, very quick with the repair, answered all of our questions, and cleaned up. Very happy with their service. I will definitely recommend them and use them in the future as well.

A-1 came through for me when my parents washer and drier died. My parents are older, and werent sure what model to get for their needs and budget. I was able to coordinate with them on the phone remotely from Chicago to secure the removal of the old units, purchase the new ones, and have them installed for my parents. They even coordinated with the other store when they needed another part, without delaying the service.It was a blessing to know my parents were in good hands. I wasnt able to travel to help them, but the staff was so nice and assured me theyd take care of it. They even called me to let me know everything went smoothly! Great service.

We used A-1 Quality appliance though our home builder for warranty repair work. Everyone is wonderful to deal with. They are friendly , helpful, efficient and get the work done so your appliances up and running. Matt , our repair man, who came several times to fix issues was always a joy to deal with. He was always a pleasure to see, efficient, knew what he was doing and went out of his way to make sure we were happy with his work. This place is the worst! Dont ever use them!!! Our dishwasher control panel went out so they had to order the new part, came and installed it but the LED lights didnt work so they ordered a new part again came back and still it doesnt work. The guy just closed out our ticket without even resolving our issue so when I called back to follow-up, I was told its been solved. Worst customer service ever! Something that should have been taken care of the first time has taken almost 2 months to fix.

Came out 4 times and our brand new freezer still not fixed. Told me it frosted up because we had an hour long power outage. Say what? Obviously not since it keeps happening without even opening the door and now Ive lost hundreds of dollars of meat and ice cream not to mention priceless elk. Lost 4 days off work to wait for service tech and they dont call with a time frame til that day. Keeps replacing random parts but STILL NOT WORKING as of tonight. Im done. Dont use if you want it fixed anytime soon.

I wouldnt even give them a 1 star, they deserve a 0 star rating. I have been waiting 2 months for my washer and dryer to be fixed (parts were ordered and were suppose to come in that week but received a call a month later that it was finally in). I stated that Im only available Wednesday afternoons and every time I get my confirmation times the day before they put me 1st thing in the morning even though I booked my appointment 2 weeks in advance, this is the 4th time they have rescheduled me. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.... My washer and dryer were not even fixed.... I will go through someone else before I waste my time on these people again.

I never leave reviews so this went so terribly wrong that I feel compelled to warn others. I currently rent a home and the dishwasher suddenly stopped draining. The owner called this company to come take a look at it. The first visit was less than five minutes long. The gentleman put booties on his shoes, which he did not do again for the rest of the appointments, and barely looked at my dishwasher. I was told there was no clog anywhere and he would need to order a new drain pump and heating element, that it would take a week for parts to come in. He left with my dishwasher running with knowing that it wasn’t draining! If I hadn’t heard it, I would have a flooded kitchen.A week and a half later, he installs the parts and tells me everything should be fine. I run a cleaning cycle after he leaves and once again, the dishwasher does not drain. I wait another week just to be told he needs to order a message panel to get more power to the dishwasher. I had clean dishes in the top rack and he started the dishwasher and splattered gross water all over them. Another two weeks goes by and he comes back to install the panel. Before he leaves, he tells me the drain tube is clogged and either we can unclog it ourselves or he can order another tube which will take another week! So in the end, my fiancé came home from work and ended up fixing this himself! Now, if I was the owner who was paying for this, I would be 10x more furious which is saying something because I’m already quite upset with how this all happened. After over a month of waiting for this appliance to be fixed and a ton of hassle, we fixed a problem that was overlooked day one by ourselves! Would never recommend this company to anyone.

After 3 weeks and a phone call the technician returned with the wrong piece. Been waiting over a month since the initial service and still have not had a return visit. A-1 came to my house twice to “fix” my dryer I bought from Lowes 8 months ago. Because my dryer was under warranty still, Lowes was the one that set them up to come out. Well after two attempts of them coming out and my dryer breaking only weeks apart I called GE directly. They set up another company to come out and take a look at my dryer. All the while I’m thinking it was a mistake I bought GE and this wasn’t the company or the techs issue. Mind you A-1 never ordered parts or said anything further then “putting the belt back on” needed to be done. To my surprise I was informed by this company set up by GE that it did need a new part that holds the belt, something A-1 failed to ever inform me of or chose not to inform me. See this seems to me that A-1 needs to go back to school or simply wanted the warranty money ... disappointed to say the least.

We purchased a Samsung Washer and Dryer set from Home Depot 2 years ago. The first week in February our dryer stopped getting hot. I called Home Depots Warranty Service and they said theyd send someone out to come look at it. I received a phone call from Sloane in the office of A-1 Quality Appliance and she said they wanted to order the part before the sent the technician out because its usually the heating element. This way the technician would have the part and be able to fix it right away. I agreed. A week past and I hadnt heard anything from anyone at A-1, so I called. They informed me the part was suppose to be in 2 days ago. I asked them if they could track it and see where it was since no one had called to update us. It was suppose to be there the end of the day that day. They were suppose to call me and get us scheduled for a technician to come out. I received the automated call and it stated the technician would be out to our home between the hours of 11 am and 1 pm the next day. I rescheduled appointments and ensured my husband who works nights was awake and ready for the technician. He showed up at 1:30. No call advising us he was going to be late. He Fixed the dryer. It was the heating element. My husband and the technician both tested it, and the dryer was getting warm and drying clothes.The next day I went to use the dryer and it would not turn on. I immediately called back to A-1 and advised them of the issues. I asked for someone to come out ASAP as they had just been there the day before and the dryer still wasnt working. Nope, they couldnt accommodate that. So we waited around again between 8 am and 11 am for the technician. 8:30 am no call no technician I called the office asking for an ETA. They said I was the first appointment of the day the technician would be here by 9 am.He arrives and is unable to fix the dryer again. Now he says it is the motor. He has to order the part it will take another week to arrive. He showed me how to manually start my dryer so I could use it while I waited for the part to arrive. He just came today, with the new motor. He cannot fix it, he didnt order the right piece. He had to call Samsung and they gave him a part number so he could order the correct part this time.To say that I am beyond frustrated is an understatement. I believe we are going on week 4 without a dryer now. A-1 has no sense of accountability to their customers. They do not care that their technician has been out here numerous times and has been unsuccessful with fixing the problem. I am in no way a priority for them even though Ive been waiting for almost a month for them to fix my dryer.I do not want anything special from them, I just want a trained technician to come to my home and fix the dryer that I paid a hefty price to warranty. I want my dryer to work. I am tired of waiting for parts, I am tired of hearing the technicians excuses for why he cant fix my dryer today. So here we go off to the laundromat for the 4th week in a row to do laundry for a family of 6 while we wait for A-1 to order a part, and show up to fix our dryer.

When i put my notice in i was shafted and told not to come in for work for the rest of the week and that i was going to not get paid for work performed due to being in training status. Total amount out of pocket that wont get paid to me is $880.00, total for the weeks worked and time they wont allow me to work comes to 1200.00, this company may have great employees that help customers but they dont take care of there employees.
