Don’t recommend coming here, nasty gym filled with gnats in the shower/ pool. Mold in the showers. Facility broken and damaged in multiple areas around the gym. Manager Esther and operations manger Aaron seem to give no interest to any member who complains. Rather make excuses for every complaint and every member who complains. Please don’t go here, go somewhere better with better amenities and better staff who care about cleanliness and safety!!!! And put their members FIRST most importantly.

Pretty mad. The guy who signed me up lied and said I could use my membership at any la fitness. Im in the military and travel a lot so I need to have access to the gym when traveling. Went to an LA fitness and they said it was inactive there.

This place is nice. Very big with plenty of space and machines. The workers where super nice and helpful. Plus the pool is 3 lanes heated and indoors. 10/10

This place does not follow the state’s guidelines of cleanliness. The shower curtains at the bottom is full of black mold and jacuzzi has not been maintained. Dirt is at the bottom of the jacuzzi and feels gross. I would be careful using the showers and jacuzzi due to possible exposure to infections and illnesses.

The gym in Murrieta is filthy. Dirty floors, showers loaded with hair and slime, torn and missing shower curtains. When I complained they simply did not care. One manager just said”be well”…he obviously can’t manage!! Oh well I’ll go to another gym. I’ve gone here almost every day for 7 years!!!

This is the worst company/ gym/ membership to be a part of. I was a member at this location since 2008 and would recommend it to no one. I have never posted a review before today, but have years of examples of poor service.This location was originally branded LA Fitness, then rebranded to Esporta Fitness.They charged me multiple times throughout the pandemic with no communication and refuse to reimburse the charges.Outside of that, the customer service is poor. They will try to upsell you every time you go to workout on the personal training and they have limited the smaller equipment for personal training use only.Support a small business- they will actually care about your fitness.

This club is very dirty. The bathrooms urinals and sinks are very filthy and they have nobody cleaning the equipment. We are having a pandemic they should have extra people cleaning this place!

This should be one of the best Esporta gyms around... large space, equipment in decent shape, but the management of this place has deteriorated quickly. Gym bags everywhere (including huge duffle bags) and a dumbbell rack they actually took the labels off of. Its chaos, and no one on staff seems to care. Easily the worst of the three LA Fitness/Esporta gyms I go to regularly.

Been training with Jake here and I have been very pleased. Hes very supportive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him if your looking for a trainer. Also the gym is kept nice and clean. also not to crowded. The classes are great as well

No communication throughout covid. Now they are trying to charge me for personal training that I cant attend. My fiance went there in person to talk to someone and NO ONE IS WEARING MASKS. Avoid this place at all costs. Im not sure how this place is even open.

Its an alright gym quiet not to many members the few times Ive been in (thats a plus in my book) staff is friendly but its an older run down location. All equipment seemed to be fully functional locker rooms were kinda gross and super run down. Also a guy i was speaking with advised me real quick to always keep an eye on my belongings as he has been stolen from multiple times, so thats a bummer

I enjoy my visits to my gym every time. Theres an excellent staff right now. Come on, stay healthy. Do what your doctor says.

Esporta/LA Fitness is a great gym thats clean and has enough equipment choices. Not many meatheads or people taking selfies and selfie-videos. I would have given them a five, but their mask requirement ..MEH.

Here for training and need to keep my routine. Awesome people and all the equipment you will need and more. Great place great help. Will always go here when in town. Highly recommend checking them out. Thank you David

They don’t know how to run the basketball games . 2 courts and the new people coming into play can’t even play because the winners or losers from the other court just switch. first time coming to this gym and its already than the gyms with one court. need someone in here regulating who already played and keep the teams fresh. some kind of sheet dictating whos next and such.

Very disappointed with the remodel, they took up half the space on main floor for their trainers section and will not let any members work out in the area. All the medicine balls, jump benches, ropes, etc are in there. Trainers are entry level at best and half the time they are taking up 2 pieces of equipment in the main workout areas but still have their own section, whats the point???? Bathrooms are absolutely disgusting dirty all the time and need to be attended too. Wish they wouldve invested in some kind of ongoing cleaning and maintenance instead. Only reason to go here is because its close to home.

Horrible Gym. I m afraid of my life and belongings every time I work out. Rude unhelpful staff. Got robbed of all belongings while my locker was unattanded for only 5 minutes. Someone followed me to lockers and stole all my stuff, car keys, wallet, clothes, cash... had to run outside wet and naked chasing the robber to ensure he doesnt steal my car with my professional medical licenses inside. Staff showed zero empathy. Zero willingness to help or a knowledge I was in distress. The staff said This happens all the time and turned away as I was freezing naked in towel in 40 degree weather. I contacted the manager and she also responded in very negative way. She informed me LA Fitness doesnt have any cameras in the facility. LA fitness failed to protect my safety and security. Staff even charge me $5 for a new plastic key.I cancel membership!!!

Love them gym. Wish they had a sissy squat machine or more heavy weights kettlebells.

If you looking for a no crouded gym this is an option always there are machines available and you will definitely feel better after your workout at this place. Also good just to relax.They have daycare.

Reasonable price, equipment kept in good condition, enough area that you arent waiting on machines. Could use more free weights, definitely waiting on those. Staff is friendly.

Floors in bathrooms, lockers and showers areas dont seem to be maintained adequately.They dont seem to do any sort of daily or weekly mopping, compared to other L.A Fitness locations.Apart from that all else seems well equipped and maintained.

Is tbis location open? Hours online say open but when you call it says closed?

The gym floor is clean and plenty of machines for most hours of the day. The mens locker room is another story. Unfortunately I find this at a couple of other LA Fitness locations. The weekends are challenged in cleanliness.

Decent gym. I go because its close to home. Everything seems clean and well taken care of. Machines seem to be working properly most of the time. Dumbells are never organized. Constantly wasting time looking for the right weights.

I love the yoga classes. It has many classes that are offered and has great equipment to workout on and I also love playing racquetball.

This place is not family ORIENTED! Blackout dates for daycare! California Fitness in NorCal is way better.

Since the remodeling, its now a really great gym,now I can work out close to home.

I go because it is close and 2 good yoga instructors. Pamela and Claire are great. But after 5 years I can say one thing. Equipment is always broken. Some machines are consistently broken and never replaced. Others break and and have signs for weeks.

Look, I’m gonna be frank, this gym is horribly constructed, and I didn’t even get a hello from the front desk when I walked into the establishment. A myriad of machines were to be repaired and their architects didn’t have enough sense to build a training room. It basically looks like a golds gym and high school football field got confused and put the equipment everywhere. I won’t say that I didn’t get a nice pump though.

The best place to go workout with complete set of gym equipments, 2 wide basketball courts, pool, sauna and more, for a reasonable monthly payments, no hassle no waiting, the only thing i didnt like about the place is that its not 24 hours, it would be perfect if they did that,

I had a problem caused by LA fitness in Murrieta. I complained it and they solved it finally. Thank you for your good attitude for customers and kindness.

Equipment is falling apart and it takes the staff forever to fix it. When it comes to the machines they eventually get to it, however a lot of the treadmills and ellipticals are never fully fixed, they squeak like crazy and the HR monitor never works. A lot of the cable pulls are frayed and the attachments are torn, the staff never replaces them. Gym is old and falling apart. Bottom line there are much better gyms out there. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $ HERE.

I usually go to LA Fitness in Menifee. The reason I like this one in Marietta is because it opens up at 6 a.m. on Sunday morning. And I can get there at 7 a.m. before church if I so choose. The one in Menifee opens up at 8 a.m. on Sunday morning which does not allow me to work out for an hour before church. However this gym in Murrieta is smaller than the one in Menifee. The bikes the spinner bikes are in the Zumba and yoga class room. The Menifee location has a spin class dedicated to only bikes which is nice. I guess each LA Fitness is unique and has each its own blessings. Ive been to many different LA Fitness has including the one in Corona.. You have to go to each one to see what you like and what you dont like.

Nice facility. Linnette a trainer, is a sadist. I started working out, and hired her as a trainer. She set me up with some lat pulls, and other back/arm exercises. She put me on settings I shouldnt have been on. I couldnt straighten my arms for a week. She has a Napoleon complex, and tries to cover it with enthusiasm, bragging about her successes. I goto the gym for me, not to hear her brag and hurt me. DO NOT hire Linnette if you are just starting out.

I am a mom of three ages 1-8 and decided its time to do something for myself again finally, with my husbands work schedule i have to find somewhere that has daycare. Joining a gym is a little out of my comfort zone because of the baby weight but i decided to bite the bullet. We live in murrieta so i found two gyms with daycare. I liked LA FITNESS better because they have a pool and sauna. I called the first gym, super friendly welcoming they told me to come down for a guest pass for 3 days and that included daycare (awesome)... Then i called LA FITNESS. Ashley answered. She was rude and distracted. If she didnt want to answer my questions she could have transfered me to someone more knowledgeable. I was asking about a trial period and if it included daycare this seemed to annoy her. The call ended with her telling me its 5 dollars per child per day of the trail (week trial, 3 kids=$105) my response was wow ok thats something to think about her responds ya-click she hung up! I had more questions!!! Well im thankfull Ashley made my decision so easy NO LA FITNESS!!!

Welp I love the gym of course it is the SALES people who I have a problem with his name is DAVID C. in particular. He signed me up when the membership was 75 percent off and told me i only had to pay 60 bucks to sign up in September and pay the remaining balance for 24.95 in November which he SAID he was going to give me a month FREE. He lied and manipulated the sale to where i has to pay the 29.99 every 15th of the month and did NOT mention that to me so they ended up charging me the 60 when i started in September , the 29.99 in October 15th [ DID NOT MENTION and told me October would be FREE] and Still have to pay the 24.95 on the 3rd of November and still the 29.99 on the 15th of November. He clearly manipulated the sale out of me. When I brought this to his attention he basicaly called me a lier and that I was crazy and refused to do anything. Seriously bro?!?!What comes around goes around. I love LA fitness but this was not cool what he dis was not cool.

Love this place yoga is normally awesome but I wish the clubs would stagger Yoga class times it kind of sucks when theyre all at 8 at night or 11:00 on a weekend if it doesnt work in my schedule I cant go so a 9 yoga class would be wonderful at 6 yoga class at 1 club would be great

The kids club is absolutely horrible and is run by a bunch of very lazy mean girls. I took my two and three year old for a couple of weeks. They are both very sweet, social children who love to play. Every time I picked them up they were upset. I felt uncomfortable leaving them and should have trusted my gut. I even told my husband something wasnt right! The last time we came my three year didnt want to get out of the car. I was pulled from my workout by a very rude girl with an appalling attitude to go to the kids club. I was told that my three year old had behaved badly and that he was suspended for three months. They wouldnt give me any information on the incident and my child had no idea what was going on. He is not old enough to explain or defend himself. Bad behavior is very out of character for him so I was very keen to find out what exactly happened. When I went to get him he was hiding from staff and looked terrified! They then had the audacity to tell me they would charge me a discounted rate for kids club during the suspension! Like I would actually consider ever leaving my children with them again!I have ran on the treadmill overlooking the kids club and watched as the children are completely ignored. Babies sit in car seats lined up along a table top completely alone in the play area. One heavy set lady who appeared to be in charge sat in one chair the entire time. She pointed, yelled and played on her phone. I watched my children playing happily together with a ball the whole time.Whilst this incident took place I was attending a so called Pilates class for the first time. The instructor didnt bother showing up! So after 15 minutes of waiting one of the paying class members said she could take us through some Pilates. This was very sweet of her. Its certainly not her responsibility to pick up this terrible gyms slack. Unfortunately she was quite unfit and really didnt have a clue what she was doing.I read the many bad reviews on ancient equipment thats constantly broken, dirty facilities and terrible attitudes from the staff. Despite this I still gave them a chance. Now Im one of the bad reviews. Please dont waste your money! So many new gyms around with brand new top of line equipment and staff that actually give a damn. They charge less than half of what this place does. I feel guilty for not pulling my kids out sooner.

The pool is the only nice thing at this gym, and it is dirty. The equipment is always broken. I have Pointed out to management several times that the attachments on some of the cable machines were ready to break and a potential liability and I would turned it into the front desk (tricep ropes, triceps bar, etc) only to see it back out on the floor the next day. Someone is going to get seriously hurt when one of them finally breaks. They have no new type of equipment that is fundamental in todays workout routines. They need to update to get some kettle bells, trx bands, battle ropes, etc. to truly be competitive with every other gym in the Murrieta area. The only reason I keep my membership is to swim laps. My biggest complaint during swimming is when the cleaning personnel splashes soapy water into the pool as they mop the walkways. You feel like youre swimming in a toxic cocktail of chemicals. If you have any gear laying outside of the pool they will basically mop right over with the disgusting water and splash all over your bags, towels, and sandals. Truly disappointing.

Hard to get help here. I walked around for 2012min trying to find an associate that wasnt jabbering away on their cell phone.

The floors in the mens locker room and even out at the workout areas are filthy in this place. About one-third of the dumbbells that they used to have before their remodel have disappeared.

I have been going here for a while now, and since first joining have noticed the equipment has not changed. The place is falling apart (broken and outdated equipment). The benefit of going here now is that the gym itself is getting less crowded due to the fact that everyone is leaving for gyms that actually take care of their members. Overall Fail

Equipment is outdated and half the time broken. Not sure what gives, since the Escondido LA Fitness has newer equipment, a manned juice bar etc. its a bit smaller but 10 times nicer.

I have been coming here for nearly 8 years. Even though I have moved further away, I still drive the extra 20 minutes to work out here. Friendly staff, clean machines, and hardly ever to packed for an interrupted work out whether it be cardio or weight room.

The facility is worn and dirty. Members do not wipe down the equipment after use and sit on equipment tying them up while they talk on their cell phones.Typical box gym without innovative equipment ( i.e. kettle bells, plyo boxes, TRX, Sandbags). Stability balls and medicine balls limited, 2 or 3. When I notified the front desk that one of their stairmasters was broken, she blurted outAwesome! Really? How about thank you, we will get right on that! Wont be back;((

Jill Stead is a horrible instructor and oversees the other instructors rendering all of the classes confusing and annoying. She seems totally disorganized and lazy.
