These gentlemen are extremely good mechanics. In my opinion could be hands down some of the best in middle TN and quite fair on there labor and will not miss lead you on what your automobile needs or dont need I guess straight forward and all around good and true folks

Great work at a reasonable price, but my vehicle was left in a lot and I had some things stolen. Not the smartest move but everyone makes mistakes, and they were very fast to get their insurance to handle damages and costs of stolen property.

Fast and friendly service at a fair price. Called around this was the lowest cost shop in town and half of what the dealer wanted. He charged a fair price for labor & parts. Will take my vehicles here in the future.

So I saw all the great reviews and thought nothing can be perfect, but these guys do a great job with keeping you informed with whats going on with your vehicle. Pricing is very responsible; didnt bleed my pockets. I had major oil leaks on my Altima. They assessed the problem the day I dropped it off, and it was fixed within 3 business days I would recommend this place to anyone. Edit... so its been a couple months and my car is still running fine. They do a solid job.

Jim Roberts Auto Repair. A nicer, more honest group of folks, doing very good work, at a very fair price, you will not find. They will analyze your issues to the best of their ability and give you honest opinions of options available.

Chevy told me I needed to replace my engine ($8200!!!). Went here to talk about a Jasper install. Mike suggested checking some things first after I explained the problems I had. Less than $200 in parts fixed my problem! Plus the excellent service and knowledge. They treat you right! Customer for life!

My fiancé and I were trying to pass emissions the week before Christmas so we could travel safely. We went to another mechanic who wanted to over charge us then had his shop closed that Monday. We ended up going here and had a wonderful experience. The mechanics took our car in that Monday evening and said they could have us on the road by noon the next day. We got a call the next morning at 8 saying they had it fixed and even discovered that the other mechanic hadnt put back multiple parts the last time they worked on it. They instructed us to drive the car in which we did. The light ended up coming on and they continued to work on it til we passed and had us on the road when we needed to be. Not to mention the services were very affordable and the mechanics are extremely reliable and friendly.

If you are looking for an extremely skilled, honest mechanic, look no further. I have been dealing with mechanics for 10 years now and rarely do business reviews but he has earned my loyalty as a customer so I figured the least I could do was write a review about his shop.Jim has done work on my Toyota pickup, my girlfriends Tahoe, my mothers Trailblazer, as well as friends vehicles. He uses quality replacement parts like AC Delco and Motorcraft (basically you wont find an auto zone part in sight) the mechanics are honest and explain all the repairs in details ( as well as tell you anything else that might need to be done in the near future) the labor rates are in line, if not lower than other certified shops in town, and the work is done quickly and on time..I just found out that Roberts Auto Repair has been in business for over 35 years, and I see why..Cheap mechanics using cheap parts to make a dollar come and go, but if you step inside this shop and talk to anyone that has done business with this man you will see why he has been in business for so long.. Good honest mechanics are hard to find, and I would give this place 6 stars if I could.
