Gerber is who I trust, but this was my first experience with this location. John kept me in the loop the entire time, from the initial walk around, to the ordering of parts, prep, and completion; I knew what was happening every step of the way. I was so excited that they got the Toaster finished early, and was more excited to see her looking better than she ever has, fully detailed and sparkling! They even replaced one of her discontinued wheel covers!

Amazing. They have serviced my car and my teenagers car. Picked my car up today, the work is beautiful, and they cleaned the entire interior of my car. They work with Geico, so really great if new customers have that insurance.

John Sinclair and his team are second to none. They restored my car quickly and I was always well informed. And when a minor detail wasnt quite to my liking, Gerber responded immediately, correcting the problem under their repair warranty and returning a perfect vehicle at no cost. Its clear that Gerber takes pride in what they do. Should I need to, Ill be calling on them in the future without hesitation.

I went in their this morning and asked for a quote for a repair and they were not able to give me a quote until tomorrow so I went to another shop and they were able to give me quote today. So if you want to wait go to Gerber. Gerber lost my business I was a return customer as well.

The work staff here and at Broadway are great. Ive had to follow up and couple times which is why missing 1 star but they have taken care of my car right and I anticipate no further issues. Plus they warranty their work which is awesome. There was some communication errors when on 3-way with the receptionist and insurance evaluator but it all got taken care of.

My truck is my baby, so I was a bit nervous at first considering other reviews but a co- worker recommended it and it’s “in network” with my insurance. Jordan and the team made my experience the best it could be under the circumstances which I appreciate. They worked with me throughout the entire process, which means a lot cuz I know I can picky haha. My truck is in that awkward phase of being old, but not quite old enough to be considered an antique yet so this is not their usual repair job. They showed me the work they were doing, talked about it with me and brought me back to see their progress. They worked with me to try and retain as much of the original parts as possible and even went through their refuse pile to save a part that admittedly most folks couldn’t care less about. Which means a lot.

I cant say enough good stuff here. I was rear ended and had to get my bumper replaced. I didnt know what to expect because I have never had to do this kind of thing before and I tend to hate having to do anything maintenance with my car, but Gerber made it so easy and painless! Everyone was nice and knowledgeable, patient with any questions I had, and they took care of getting my rental set up for me. They estimated it would take 4 days to get the work done and then got it done in two. If I ever find myself in the unfortunate position of needing collision repairs again, I am going straight to Gerber.

The only reason I gave this business 1 star is because there wasnt a Minus score.We had called this shop to ask when we could bring my car in for an estimate and was told to bring it in on Saturday. When we arrived Saturday morning we were the only customers in the building. As we stood in the lobby for quite awhile I watched Jim sit behind his desk and even though he saw us, he slowly and eventually got up and made his way where I was standing. He acted as if we were putting him out and had interrupted his video games he had playing on his computer. I explained the purpose of our visit and the first thing out of his mouth was how much money is the insurance paying us to repair it? After I told him I was just looking for an estimate and I would be paying for the repairs he had the nerve to tell us how he thought it was a waste of money and we should just get rid of the car. I was appalled and insulted but continued to be sociable and finally convinced him to go out and look at the car to give us an estimate. Reluctantly he proceeded to start the estimate but only after I picked up his clipboard and took it out to him.When he finally compiled the details it involved a wheel alignment and additional costs that had nothing to do with the repairs necessary.Jim’s attitude was atrocious and honestly even if the estimate had been reasonable I would not have used them to repair my car. I will tell everyone possible not to use this business. Jim’s arrogance and condescending attitude lost my business and no doubt others as well.

Left the inside dirty. Had no antenna when I got it back. Leaked brake fluiduntil it wouldnt move. Door on drivers side creaks. Handle on passenger sideloose. Never experienced such service

After 2 months of sitting in this shop and NOTHING getting done to it even though I was told every week it will be done next week it was moved to a different shop where we find out nothing had even been done.There was very little to no communication from anyone here and when I did speak to some one he was rude short and hung up on me before I could ask questions or get a word out.Stay away if u value good service good work and your vehicle.

I cant begin to tell you the incredibly terrible experience I had with this company. Im 60-year-old. They disregarded the warning lights and signal the telling him not to drive the car. They damaged a very expensive automobile that they were told not to drive. They lied to me from the very beginning. Im warning you if you use this company and Mike Hernandez the manager is the worst of them all.. Your car will suffer and you will be sorry. I am currently filing suit. You can feel free to contact with me and I can give you verifiable proof of everything I have said. The reviews referring to J& M are reviews for J&M they were the company before Gerber Collision purchased them ,so they are reviews for the prior company.

Im having my car repainted after 15 years, because they honor the life time warranty. They gave me no problem when I brought it in due to the clear coat peeling. I have always been treated wonderfully with this business!

I currently have a car being fixed and I have had nothing but terrible service. I dropped my car off on the 21st of June and they told me 2 weeks tops. It has been over a month and every time I have called they told me a day. When I called about the day they said that they were still working.DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I visited the shop, spoke with the owner, showed him what I wanted done, and scheduled the appointment. I dropped my vehicle off at 8:15am and they gave me a short ride to work (5 min). I was told theyd need my truck for the day and expected to pick it up that night which I arranged transportation for, since I was without my vehicle.I called that evening around 5pm as I had not heard from them. The lady who answered the phone could not give me a status update as to whether my truck was ready to pick up which made me suspicious. I showed up at 6pm and saw my vehicle sitting in their lot, untouched, no work completed. Nobody knew what happened and/or why the job didnt get done. Mike explained it was a busy day although he realized that was no excuse and attempted to offer a solution, but he didnt have any. Mike offered to have me come back the next day, and I said Id consider it if theyd make it right, but I wasnt interested if this is the norm for the shop. He said hed speak with the owner and call me.Mike called me the next day and said my file was placed on the wrong desk and theyd do nothing to make it right. I opted to do business with another shop that has their stuff together. But, if youre a fan of lousy service, businesses that dont care about your business, and wasting your time, call J&M!

Lots of issues with there service or lack there of. It required us calling them over 15 times to get out car repaired. We never felt like our car was important our they cared. They do good work but the customer service is seriously lacking.

This company is out to scam you, very dishonest and horrible customer service. Try and charge for things months after you picked up your car with final bill. Saying they found unexpected expensives. Only when they find out that the insurance company paid you more than the cost to fix issues. When in reality you can do whatever you want with money when accident isn’t your fault. Very troubling experience. I would’ve recommended this company to anyone.

THEY DAMAGED MY CARThey did more damage. My rear hatch keyless entry was no longer functioning upon getting the car back and they had not put the rear hatch covering back on correctly so that part of the metal is exposed and the plastic connectors meant to hold it in place were bent or broken off. The back up camera was also misaligned. I told them about the issues but they claimed all this coincidentally happened while the car was there and not their fault so they wouldn’t fix it.

This was my 2nd experience with Gerber ! Both times on the same car ,as well as both times ,damages by others!Nationwide Insurance recommended them highly, and as a newby to Oregon transplanted from upstate New York I have no way of knowing who is good and dependant or lousy and unreliable!Needless to say ...Gerber is great !I cant remember ever being kept so updated on a project!As an owner operater of a lighting / electrical buisness for almost 30 years Gerber is a business model others should emulate.Every interaction with anyone there, was with a smile on their faces, eye contact and always wanting to know if theres anything I need ..question... or want related to my repair.I admit to a real anger accompanying this repair as it was keyed with $ 3500 of.damage!My crime was for having a picture of TRUMP in my window with the phrase Stop Bigotry on it.My entire car was keyed and MAGA scrawled into the paint !!John kept his smile.jntact.and was ever the professional as I rattled on, in my anger ,being the customer ,I too had many times come in contact with at my buisness!He kept me. updated all the time and. I just picked up the clean, well painted and repaired Hyundi car!I highly .recommend this #10 of a buisness to any one!

Very disappointed in the work/service done at Gerber. I will never recommend anybody to go their. First off when I dropped my truck off they had told me it would be 10-14 days until I set my truck back. It took them 2 and a half months. When I finally got my truck back, the bed had sanding supplies in it. They had broke the tabs off of my window switch. My bottom of my door was shaved down because they didnt was to align it properly. Alignment was not done like they told me it would be. My exterior mirror was hit in the accident and that was not replaced. And last they ended up stripping a bunch of clear coat from the hood and roof and denied doing it all.

My wheel was destroyed in the accident that I took my car to Geber for. The technician took my spare out of the trunk, put it on the car, threw the ruined wheel in the trunk and let me drive away without saying anything to me. A month later when I discovered the ruined wheel, Gerber drug their feet another couple of weeks and finally found the cheapest wheel that matched by bolt pattern only. Four months later, I’m still driving around without my wheel despite making numerous trips and phone calls to check on the wheel. Gerber just ignores. I will get my wheel!

I had several communication issues with one of the reps. The initial estimate was 14 days and the car was finally returned almost 2 months after the accident. The body shop took over rental costs once the insurance company said they wouldnt pay for any more days.The owner took over after expressing communication issues. The repairs were good, and the car was in great shape. I appreciated how they responded to my concerns, though I am not confident I can refer to them in the future. They are a busy shop, and prioritize quick jobs, at the expense of the bigger jobs.

Absolutely wonderful! These guys took me under their wing and made the process easy! My two month old 2015 Kia was ran into when someone ran a stop sign and totaled the passenger side of my vehicle. I happened upon them the next day when I tried to drive my vehicle to the store. I went into ask their opinion if I should drive it. The car was unsafe to drive so they set me up in a rental car until the other drivers insurance came through. Sam called the insurance twice a day until it was resolved. Mike kept me in the loop while the insurance figured out the quote. A month later my car was fixed and back in my hands! I hope to never be in this situation again but I will forever be a customer of J&M!

J&M did some repair on my Jeep. They were friendly and helpful even though my insurance company sent the paperwork to the wrong location. There was some confusion on the work that was being done but they made it right & for that, they get 4 stars. the work itself looks good. Possibly missing some plastic clips for the front bumper but doesnt seem to make a difference.

I happened upon Gerber by accident, and I am so glad that I did!A woman had rear ended my vehicle and I received three estimates from other shops, but hadn’t yet scheduled work. A week later, my low beam bulb happened to be out so I was at Napa Auto Parts up the road from Gerber to purchase a new one. I was planning to try to replace the headlight myself in their parking lot as I was headed up to Seattle, when Thayer (from Gerber) offered to replace my headlight free of charge! So I followed him down the road to the shop and while my headlight was being replaced they drew up an estimate for the damage done to my car by the woman who had rear ended me. Because of Thayer’s generous offer to help me out on a whim with the headlight and the kind service of the other employees while I was waiting I decided to schedule the repair work with Gerber. And I am so glad that I did!I was scheduled to drop off my vehicle on a Monday morning, but Sunday night my front right tire blew on I-5... I put on the spare, and left my vehicle in their parking lot and dropped the key off in the night drop off slot. Thayer called me the next day and gave me an honest assessment of the tire, it was unrepairable. It was about time to replace my tires anyway, so he completely facilitated the delivery and mounting of four brand new tires. I only paid for the tires and the shipping, Gerber took care of working with the tire shop for me. I can’t believe I was able to get four beautiful new tires with such ease.Of course, since my month of bad luck with my car (rear ended, headlight out, tire blew) wasn’t over... the shop that put on the new tires for me scratched my brand new bumper that Gerber had put on. This delayed my pick up by a day since Gerber then had to repaint my bumper. Thayer called me and was so apologetic, and of course I didn’t mind because accidents happen! When I did pick up my car, they had thoroughly cleaned the interior for me, which I was thrilled by and not expecting. I had a ton of gas receipts in my car and they had saved every one of them for me! After everything they have done for me and the constant communication I had with them throughout this entire process, I couldn’t recommend working with Gerber more. If you are in an unfortunate situation where you need collision repair, definitely call Thayer at Gerber- he was simply the best.

This place is a joke. Receptionist just stares at you...they are not organized...the dont have enough estimators and I was given nothing but excuses both times i came in for an estimate ehy they could not help me. The first time i came in at 5pm on a walk in day...wad told they were closed and stopped taking walk ins. Ok so they close at 5pm when everyone works basic hours during the day. The next time I came in at 445 I was told they no longer take walk ins because they lost an estimator. I asked for the manager and was told she was on a conference call. NO service rather than customer service...no management...everyone in the office just sat there staring including all the estimators doing nothing to help. I wouldnt trust this place with a hotwheel. I will never go back to this place. Waste of time.

My car is waiting on insurance to decide its fate and I was told by an employee that I would be charged a storage fee if I could not get my car fixed by insurance and could not afford to fix my car. I think thats sad and outrageous and pitiful that everyone is out to make a buck off of someone elses bad fortune. Each day that goes by will cost me $50 to sit on their precious property. Thanks for taking advantage of me, I will bring my five kids in so you can tell them how greedy and money hungry you people are.
