Nice gym all around ….But ….I will say though, regardless of Covid, some members can really learn to wipe down the equipment after they’ve used it and not just walk away like there is a maid service… I clean everything before and after and don’t expect anyone to come after me to clean my sweat… pure laziness on their part. I know there are always staff members around but clean after your damn selves !!

Yesterday I had a very unfortunate episode with Sumreen, who apparently is the manager at this facility. She was rude, unprofessional and even sarcastic - definitely not one ounce of delivery of good customer service. She told me that I needed to be an adult. I will own that I became very angry but Sumreen my anger stemmed from Sumreens handling of the situation. I brought my daughter in as my guest. Sumeen said that she could not be there because she owed 23.00. I said I would pay...regardless of the fact that I was certain that she had made a mistake. She then turned the computer around...no privacy..showed everyone...and told us that Megan owed over 200.00. She never once considered that the error may have been caused on the PF side. Instead of showing the world that there was a large balance (which I will maintain was a mistake), she treated us as if we were criminals, rather than show any sort of customer service. I was furious. That said, this is a woman who clearly enjoys the power of being a manager and the fact that she can curtly tell people that they are not allowed there. She made 0 attempt to review in greater detail the issue and she definitely was more interested in using her power than resolving the situation. My daughter owes nothing and I will hope that PF will contact me to resolve the billing issues. Planet Fitness is a large organization. To show that kind of inflexibility and lack of concern for resolving the issue is wrong. She was sarcastic when I told her I was most upset with the way she was handling it.

This gym is always missing some equipment in the free weights, it’s always hot in here but sadly it’s the closest gym to my home and work and not as scammy as other gyms or expensive. Hopefully they get new stuff soon and better management

Tedious cancellation policy. Amazon keeps showing the world how to do things right yet management refuses to accept convenience for the customer should be the priority While signing up is easy, this is stuck in the 80s when you want to discontinue your membership... And before I get a Google Reviews reply with the obnoxious talk to a manager... WHY DONT YOU FIX THE PROBLEM instead of responding to it like a robot...?

It’s disgustingly warm and hot in the Milford ct location, the coolest it’s been was 72 degrees in here. The gym temperature needs to be between 64-68 degrees due to bacterial and health complications, it’s hard to breathe and workout in this location, don’t come here!

The new place for Milford Planet Fitness. The Gym is opened from 1st of August for Everyone with all the guidelines for Covid19. Looks much better than the old place. Cleaner and well maintained. The changing areas are well furnished and tidy. The Gym is equipped with all the weights and machines. Enjoy the Workouts

Peaceful gym to navigate around and get your workout done and leave. Its between my home job and friends so im always in there working out. The customer service is very nice and always willing to help thumbs up guys and girls!

Fairly empty most of the time, probably because of COVID-19. Good equipment. Good rack of dumbbells, good row of HAMMER STRENGTH machines. Plenty of treads, stairs, ellipticals, a mixed circuit with timer.You cant have everything: shortage of open floorspace. Locker area is small. Sinks medium; I havent looked at the showers.Overall much better deal than most of the competition. Not a glam shop; not a lot of the young-and-made-up and nobodys juiced. Nice calm place to do your workout.

All new equipment, tons of space (two floors!!) and no crowd at all here. Plus the staff was super nice. Only the bathrooms could use a fresh start but overall this place is excellent with lots of parking as well.

The only thing that I dislike is the fact that there are no printed charts with the different stations and exercises that are located in the new facility.This is important for consolidating & speeding up potential workouts!

They need to upgrade their facility but I guess you cant beat it for the priceThis would be to your response. This facility literally has 5 gallon buckets for wastewater that is leaking from the ceiling in the basement. If you ask me this is unacceptable and is a health violation. Should be fixed immediately when I asked the staff they said it was from condensation I have never heard of plumbing producing that much from condensation theres literally paper towels stuffed in the plumbing to stop from leaking.

Im not sure how long ago the other review was posted, but I can assure you things have changed since then. The mens locker room is fine, there are plenty of towels to clean machines, and there are enough TVs to never be lonely. Hours are very nice, and most of the staff are very nice, personable, and helpful. I would recommend this gym to anyone who wants to register or feels like switching.

Really dated and inconsistent with normal planet fitness locations (high ceilings with air circulators, finishes, etc...). Tons of cardio equipment, lack of strength machines. Lockeroom and showers are a mess. Parking lot surface looks and feels like Aleppo Syria and is ironically next door to an concrete place. Hopefully the Orange location is better.

I love PF, but this one is old and needs a facelift. I came here instead of Orange for convenience, won’t be back.The 30 minute room are resistance machines and don’t match what other PF locations have. Could be a good spot if they got new equipment.

The smell of mildew hits you as soon as you walk through the doors!It’s definitely in need of a remodel like orange. Don’t understand why I have to travel all the way to orange because Milford is so old, smelly, and out dated. Why no love for Milford location

The facility is very big, two levels, and the equipment is Great! the massage chairs however, could be positioned better away from facing the front door; and the bathroom stalls (only 2) were unclean and very dusty.

This planet fitness is big yet doesnt have that many people. The lower floor has a lot of stuff, including bench presses, which is somewhat rare for planet fitness. No squat rack but thats to be expected. You have all the chances of getting the weights/machines you need, any time you want. There are stair machines, bikes, ellipticals, treadmills and more upstairs. The staff is super relax and friendly.

Omg, really we are complaining about showers and bathrooms. Its a huge facility with all kinds of things to do, its never crowded and the staff is always very pleasant. I go 4 to 5 times a week and there is always someone cleaning. Its a gym not a spa, there is going to be sweat and physical activity. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Good gym to go to good costumer service and clean place

Has new equipment as of a year or so ago. Includes a weight room, 30 minutes track room, plenty of cardio machines. Showers clean but often lacks soap and curtains are ripped. Does not have massage chairs. Parking lot is in a bad shape so drive slow.

I am a singer and was traveling thru and had to do a quick workout at 3pm on my way to NYC. I was really surprised it was so crowded and the bathrooms were beyond unclean. Not to mention it was so warm and musty....air it out! Got out my GPS to quickly find another location. Thank God the Orange location was so close and night and day difference. Milford Front desk girl was nice. But, Sorry just couldnt stay! Yuck!

Staff is friendly and there is plenty of equipment for the location. Problem is that most of it is in a mildew and poorly circulated basement. Also the downstairs TVs are all snowy and the sound system on the bike doesnt sync up to the TV.

Love it...I read all the responses and I can say is that you folks are sissies and whiny little sunken chests!....ok, some of the machines are dated, yeah- they need a few newer cybexes. But i go there for the location and people, both of which are the coolest....and to the guy who was a musician (Ive been one since the 1960s) whined about a musty vibe. Well, guaranteed hes played some nasty clubs already, even though I think hes about 23...get over it, satin - doll. This is a gym, not a boutique....grow up man, man up, and save the whiney for your shrink. The milford one is my fave, and Ive been to most of the p.fs in connecticut

They shut down for 3 days two weeks ago and installed all brand new equipment. Awesome!

What a joke, went in there to tan, tanning beds are as old as jesus and I was confronted about my clothing. You have a shirt on that may expose your nipples and that is not allowed here. GTFOH corny ass gym that I will never go back to

Needs a lot of TLC. Locker rooms are run down and the showers need a complete overhaul. Nice people that work there though.

Horrible directions, takes you to the wrong side , make sure to come in from the main highway /street. Dont take the back roads by the baseball field. Very confusing
