Maria C received the car quickly, and was nice.However, The initial rental process was misleading with the prices. There was a lot of hidden fees not initial listed. You have to purchase the insurance through their office because the “pocket size insurance card” with your policy number and information wouldn’t suffice.Also, the office is not at the airport. You have to take a shuttle to the rental office.Otherwise, The car itself was fine.

Ronny was excellent. Great customer service and friendly when we returned the car.-I wouldnt rent here again. We were only supposed to pay a certain amount of money and we ended up paying a lot more. I think they took advantage of us with the tolls and charge us money for using our own insurance. It was just okay.

I rented a car here about two weeks ago. Return car on time and the same way I got it. With a tank full of gas. When I return car and they check it. An before I left after they check out the car. I asked if I owe anything and when will my $300 security deposit go back into my account. The lady said I was good to go and that I didnt owe nothing. And that my security deposit would go back into my account within 48 hours to 3 days. After the car has been returned. It has been two weeks and I havent received or seen it in my account. Try talking to a live person. Their phone will hang up on you. Emailing doesnt really help. This company needs to get their stuff together.

Plan for about an hour to get off plane, grab bags, wait on shuttle and get to/from car rental place. Service was great. The pickup location is a little strange... Off airport property, in an industrial area, but overall great experience. No issues.

NO NO NEVER RENT HERE. Never ever rent here. You will absolutely without a doubt pay more. They invent fees like: you need to pay a fee for your insurance - how does this make any sense. Be sure to bring your physical car. Also they will charge you a daily fee to use their Highway toll pass and guess what they will tell you it’s state law. They are crooks. DO NOT RENT HERE!! If you do just be prepared to be taken for all you have. What a joke. Again DO NOT RENT HERE!!!

Employees were nice and the car was fine. But it is a long way from the airport. Thought it was in the rental building, no thats just where you get your shuttle. Then it took 15 minutes to get to the lot and another 15-20 before the car was ready . Return was simple, but again, a 15 minute wait for the shuttle, 15 shuttle ride, then you are still only at the rental center. Plan lots of extra time.

Car was great but the place to pick an drop is awful --looks shady.Car had the windshield dirty so it was hard to drive night time.They dont advertise the lack of American Express as a payment method.Also they charge an extra insurance fee (around 60$ I believe), also a fee for tolls.The gas tank was not full, we had to stop in the middle of nowhere to refill the tank in order to be able to continue.Please note: The car pickup location IS NOT on the airport as advertised on Booking.com, there is a shuttle that will pick you up but we found out about that only when asking on the stands of the other rental car stations. Also when coming back, there was no shuttle to the airport yet, we had to take aseparate transportation to make it on time.Also note that the people helping to give and receive the cars are actually nice and they are fast (in our opinion) however everything else really isnt that good.

Very Misleading!!! I rented from them Sep 2, here it is Oct 2 , I still haven’t received my $300 deposit. I was told that it would be back on my card 14-21 days. I am a single mother . I need my money back as I was told. I will never rent from them again. Now I have to take extra measures to get my money back and the only way to contact them about this is through email. It’s just a BIG Mess!

Im not one to do reviews on google, but by experience with this car rental was awful. I don’t recommend at all. Service really bad, the lady did not treat us with any respect, the cars were all in bad condition. And because we were Florida residents we would have to pay a fee for every 50 miles we drove and said that it was all because us Florida Residents steal cars or break them. The website where we booked the car did not have any of this information. We had trip today and now we have to look for other options. I REPEAT, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAR RENTAL.

Check BBB before you use these people! You get what you pay for. Youve been warned.That said, everything about the $500+ credit card holding fees are true, you dont find that out anywhere online until youre at the counter. ​If you dont show up on the day that you scheduled, youre a no show and they give your car to someone else and will not give a refund. Regardless of whether its your fault or not.I had a bad flat tire and was held liable for repairs when I needed to return the car the next morning. It was a nightmare trying to get it fixed. They had no spare tire, no car jack, no roadside assistance. They told me they wouldnt send another car so we could actually get repairs done and that I should just call a mechanic to get it towed and fixed. Id give them 0 stars if I could but I guess the 1 star goes to the shuttle drivers who were nice.

The worst and scammers. Very over priced. Got there car I reserved wasn’t available. Over charged my card. Gave me a horrible van door messed up on us while having the van.Very rude to customers. Place is horrible. I would not recommend unless you want to spend unnecessary money and get a horrible car. Beer bottles was left under seats. Van wasn’t clean at all. Place is nowhere near airport which was told car will be there waiting on you upon arrival.

There are replies on the negative reviews about reviewing the situation to act better. Yet, we paid an SUV and they wanted to give us an economy car for the same price although they did have an SUV. They charge an insane amount per day with the additional charges that turns out to be more expensive than the other car rentals. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. waited over an hour to get taken care of, outside in the heat… THEY TOLD US THEY CHARGE 200 DOLLARS IF YOU HAVE SAND IN THE CAR. The only nice person in there was Maria Contreras but if you don’t get her, you’ll most likely get rude people that are not willing to help you. You’ll end up worse renting from here than anywhere else. HORRIBLE

Horrible service. Customer service tried to over charge us for collision insurance even though we showed proof of purchase of that insurance. Seems like this company feeds off of tourism. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Had res. In Aug. Great price. But thats it. Went to pick up. Was told because because I live in Florida it would be an additional $1500 deposit. This was not stated when I made the res. Also I got to the rental had to wait a out an hour as I saw the clerk take 2 other ppl ahead if me . I walked out called Budget and even though I paid more. It was worth it. Cheap is not always worth it.I do not recommend this company. Dont rent unless you have lots of money and patience. NOT RECOMMENDED

If you’re trying to save money, don’t even bother. There are so many hidden fees it’s incredible. Not to mention how long the wait is for your car. Hopefully the guy that has the keys to your assigned rental doesn’t accidentally take them home like our guy did.

I rented from Routes Car Rental this past weekend and had a great experience. They had great customer service, prices are affordable and received my $200 deposit in less than 24 hours. Reading the previous reviews made me skeptical but luckily I had no issues with the service.

Maria Cristina made sure our rental was in perfect conditions before handing it to us and Jordan was quick to help us and get our information. This was by far the best experience with a rental company.

These are teaser rates. Youll pay for two insurances and they pitch the Toll pass as if its absolutely necessary. You dont have to drive in the toll or express lanes. Its a choice. At the end, my $30.00 two day rental was $150.00 for two days. I could have gone with a reputable company and paid $70.00 for per day or 150.00 for 2days after declining insurance like I usually do. I flew into to FLL Airport. I drove to Miami airport for the car because I thought I was getting an outstanding rate for two days. Boy was I tricked.

Awful experience. Very slow, extremely rude to customers, filthy place, they add 14.99 if you are using debit card and add additional day if You are dropping a vehicle off after 12pm. They also make you purchase their own insurance despite the fact that you may have a very good insurance. This place is a nightmare please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.Oh may I add, it’s 14.99 per DAY when you use your debit card. I mean don’t just walk away, run away from this place.

You can have your own policy, which you must present at the counter as long as you have full coverage insurance alongside the declaration page document; and if you dont have it, you could purchase one from us. About the tolls, The E-Toll is not mandatory, however, all of the rental cars are equipped with a Sunpass transponder that is glued to the windshield of the car and is not removable. Personal Sunpass device from the customer are not allowed. So, we offer three options for E-Tolls (Unlimited tolls, just the activation and decline the Sunpass - if you are not going thru any toll). Thank you for your comment.My response to ownerYou may wanna train your staff that could hardly speak English because this is not what I was told.Your responses are excuses and you are lying to your customers. I reserved the car through Priceline estimated total was $23.56 then I come in and told about your “unofficial mandatory fees”I had my own insurance. Very dissapointed with the pricing. Added a entire set of taxes not disclosed thru priceline. Also charged for miles when original stated contract noted was unlimited. Also price per day changed once charged. Will not do business with them ever again. Ended up paying $100 over quoted priced.

They did not accept our car insurance which covers the rental. +$1002. They took photo of us like spies and then said we have seen another person have been driving the car, so guess what? +$603. For dropping the car the garage was full and we asked where should we drop? They said that is fine to park out of the gate.... Right, then they charged extra $80 for dropping the cat at a location other than the pick up!!!Other issues:1. They say they have shuttl to the airport every few minutes. Dont trust them! After 30 minutes waiting, we took Uber to the airport.2. The car was stinky.3. Our pick up was 10am, but they asked us for a waiting list... no one was there! This place is a nightmare. They will charge you 14.99 PER DAY for using your debit card, Priceline quotes do not match their chargers at all. We paid 3 times more than what Priceline quoted us. They add unnecessary chargers please look very closely at your agreement. This place is filthy, unprofessional and extremely rude. They do not follow any Covid protocols or respect their customers. Please, do yourself a huge favor and rent elsewhere. We rented a car from them a month ago. I tried to rent a car with this company through Expedia. And was charged $450.60 from my Chime Credit Card account. When I get there to receive my car rental. I was told that they do not take Chime for me to be able to get the rental that I already paid for. So of course I asked for a refund! Who has $450.60 to just give away? Ive been denied my refund. And when Expedia calls to get a response from them about my refund. They just keep them on hold. So now Ill have a Lawyer handle this matter. Good for me! Bad for there business

The total Experience was horrible. Upon arriving to the airport the shuttle drove rite by us as the driver🤷🏽‍♂️ and kept going. I called the company to no avail & countless hang ups. After 1 hour & 30 minutes of waiting I called an Uber to the rental place only to wait another hour for them to tell me my reservation was canceled & I had to pay an additional 150 for my rental car. Upon returning my car I noticed they put the wrong drop of time & once I returned it they tried to say the windshield was damaged but I took pictures of the vehicle before we left showing it was like that prior. DONT NO RENT VEHICLES FROM THEM

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! HORRIBLE!!! They basically make you get their insurance and toll service. BE AWARE! The amount stated when you reserve is NOT the final price, you end up paying more. Plus, the customer service is bad. Employees talk to each other while attending the customer. People are waiting outside for their car for an hour. Even though you pay the reservation online for each day rental of the car, they charge you again for the same thing once you are there. I had to go back because they make you pay for the toll service and they place your initials on the caption where it says that you decline the service, but they still charge it. If I can give it zero star I would. Totally not a good place to rent cars. 🙄🙄

Such a bad experience here. I went through Priceline to rent the car. When I showed up to pick up the care I had to pay over $200 on top of what Priceline had quoted. Apparently, they dont honor third parties like Priceline, Expedia, Kayak, etc..... I paid for insurance also thru Priceline and they didnt honor that either, the website said unlimited mileage and when I got there, they told me it is limited to 50 miles a day, anything over that I had to pay, so they didnt honor the unlimited mileage either. Total rip off, DO NOT GO HERE TO RENT A CAR, THE WORST....

Wouldnt rent from here again. Definitely not following COVID-19 protocols as the car was very dirty when we picked it up (fingerprints, spilled liquid, chunks of food on the carpets, etc). I am positive it was not even wiped down. We received a smaller rental car than requested/paid for, they require you to put down a $1,000 deposit on top of your rate, and provide proof of your own insurance if you decline all of the many things they try to upsell you on. Maybe thats a FL thing, but Ive never been asked for that proof for a rental. Because of all of the upsells it took a long time to get our car without a line. Odd communication, and no receipt emailed to me as stated. A couple positives: rental drop-off was quick and the shuttle was nice and timely.

WARNING: DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY. These people are the biggest scammer. If you think you are renting a cheap car, that will not be the case when you actually reach to this place. They will charge other extra charges which you have never heard. If you think you are renting out a car for 70 dollars online and your bill will be 150 plus dollars just because uncle Sam who sits inside knows how to scam people with money. They are very smart and know how to play it out with tourists. I would save myself time and rent out other name brand name companies. It will be whole alot of better option. Please take my honest advice and rent out a car from brand companies.

Worst service ever we have reserved two cars even after the reservation and the payment they have told us that no car is available. Manager is more worse worse behavior that you can evee imagine. Manager donot care about their customer. We have also seen in the counter that people got unnecessary charge in their credit card even if they find single dust in the car they charge you cleaning fee. One of my worst experience that i have ever encountered in my life. I will highly suggest not to get car from this company ROUTES.WORSE ! WORSE! WORSE!
