I first found out about this company by advisement flyer. I was Nervous at first because of the lower prices did not know this company (Benz had always used dealer mechanic). Then a year later I had issue with my Benz and car dealer was too expensive. So I took a chance with Rodrigo and I have not been disappointed they are honest, excellent customer service, and great work. I have been using Rodrigo since 2008.

Great service and the price you cant beat it

I have been going to Star Specialists for over 6 years and the owner (Rodrigo) has always been extremely helpful, professional and, very important, honest with me. I now take my mercedes to the dealer only for warranty work. I dare say that he knows more than the dealer service technicians. In a recent visit to the dealer they told me I needed brake pads for the rear. I did not do the work since I know they charge much more than what is reasonable. I went to Star Specialist and told him what the dealer said and asked how much he would charge. He went out to the car with a small flashlight and showed me the pads which looked like new. Then he told me you dont need pads nor will you need them for quite a while. Cars that he has done service for me include Mercedes 300D, Mercedes C250, Mercedes E350 and my latest Mercedes E250

Be live it or not ! honest mechanics exist in Miami, Fl...Rodrigo is one. I had a 2003 c280 and tried 5 different mechanics and they all took advantage of my lack of knowledge until I met Rodrigo in 2011. Since then until today I continue to take my mothers old Mercedes Benz. If you go somewhere else , you are not being an intelligent shopper.

I never write reviews. This is the first exception. Ever.A friend originally recommended this shop to me. I grew tired of the extra gouging and length of service time from the dealerships.Its not so much the ease of appointment availability, and believe me, this shop is always busy, or the prices. No, it is the quality service I have received over the years from the shop owner, Rodrigo.I have a 07 SL, and lets face it, older Mercedes start having issues. One issue was my trunk would not pull down completely shut. Rodrigo opened my trunk, disconnected the battery a moment then reconnected it. No charge. Problem solved.Someone valet my car and creased my front valence panel as well as scraping the underside paint. After a schedule B service, I asked Rodrigo if he could take a look. He told me to go checked it out. Taking a quick look, I noticed he straightened my valence panel. I thanked him and asked if he could spray the scrapped area. He said, and I quote, Jay, go-look-again. Dude! THANK YOU! No charge.Most recently I had a battery alert on my dash. He reset my computer, checked my alternator and sent me on my way. No Charge.In a business, it is the little things that add up. You never recommended anything that I did not truly need.Thanks, Rodrigo. Thanks for your honesty and service.Tanga buen dia.

It is horrible, they charged me $ 1250.00 to fix the sun rus and they did not know how to mount the interior curtain, I returned it 3 times and it was wrong, finally a few days later I opened it and said curtain got tangled, when I returned the owner told me he was sorry but that I had to pay $ 300 for the curtain and that it turned out well because he was not going to charge me labor, after making him understand that it had been their problem that they did not know how to mount the curtain, the very rude owner told me that he was not going to pay that andso the conversation ended so easily and after spending so much money I was left with a broken roof.

Don Rodrigo is very good mechanic - their prices are fair and diagnostics always on point. They are very accomplished too, they never leave you hanging by your car indefinitely. It is a serious workshop. Jas hard to get someone who you good maintenance to your car and more these types of cars. I highly recommend it.
