This place is good. The employees are nice and welcoming. I called on Friday for some used tires. They were able to squeeze me in the same day. I paid $65 per tire for a Camry that includes mounting and balancing. They were busy but were able to take care of all the customers who came in. I would recommend this place. Good prices and good employees.

The lady who picks up the phone is always rude! Not sure if it’s the same lady who works in the front but she is rude to! I just feel like their customer service is horrible like really horrible!!! I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way for sure!

Needed tires right away before the snow storm was finished today & they got me in right away. Notified me of a repair I might need in the future & was the best deal for the price / service. Even let me know about some local restaurant / bakery that I could stop by while waiting. Good people I would recommend to others.

Had a flat, they were super flexible with letting me drop off at any time, even after hours. When I called in the morning they gave me a number of different options (different tires and new vs used) and once decided they were finished within the hour and I had my car by the time I needed to get to work. Great experience. They were able to get me in same day to take a look at my tire and do an oil change. I thought I might have to replace my tire but they took a look at it and determined it was safe and I could continue driving on it. I truly appreciated their honesty and the fact they didnt try to sell me services I did not need. The woman who worked in the waiting room was very kind and welcoming while I waited, something I normally dont experience in an auto shop waiting room. I also appreciated the WiFi that allowed me to work during my appointment. Im new to Madison and its always hard to find a trustworthy mechanic/auto shop in a new city. Its something I personally dread. But I really lucked out with Comstock and I will definitely be back for future services.

My tire was bald and also just not holding air anymore and when I noticed I had been riding around almost completely flat, I called to make an appointment. Got me in for the very first appointment the next day and had my tire done in about a half-hour. Staff was also friendly, and tire prices are definitely reasonable! I still need three new tires before winter comes so I know where Ill be going for those!

I came in with a leaking tire caused by a screw. The tire was not repairable due to the screw being too close to the sidewall. However, they sold me a tire at a great price so I could get back on the road. They were extremely quick, friendly, and very fairly priced. Would definitely recommend.

These guys are organized. Waiting area is clean, organized with pop machine and coffee. Very polite and friendly and get the job done in record time. They even checked my tires for me to make sure the air pressure was good after I asked if perhaps one of the tires was a low on air. A great place to go for oil changes, tires, etc. We got 2 coupons each for $3.00 a piece on line and used them on oil changes for both our vechicles.😛

Had to get a new tire as my old one popped. They were extremely helpful, and honest. Instead of trying to get me to buy 4 new tires, they let me know mine were low, but that I could survive another couple months on mine. On top of this, they lowered the price for the tire I bought because it was a slightly busier morning (I only waited 5 or 10 minutes extra). Im going back later this week for a full checkup. Would definitely recommend.

Make unnessary repairs before telling you about it! Drag out the time so they can charge you 125/hr for labor.Then act like they giving you a deal. If your car can make it to Walmart Tire or Weber tire go there instead. If my response was really what you say I said, then I wouldnt even have had the issues!!

One of the workers here forgot to reconnect a hose, so it was leaking exhaust on the inside of the car! We couldnt even breathe when we drove the car around afterwards. They wanted to charge us for a diagnostic test even though it was obviously their fault. We got it fixed with another company who agreed it was Comstocks fault. I asked for a refund and they absolutely refused to acknowledge their mistake, let alone apologize or try to make up for it. Awful customer service. Will not be returning.

Have been going since a friend referred me. I mainly get oil changes which are a fair price and the service is wonderful. They are always upfront and I can trust that they will do the work correct the first time.

I have a fleet of 10 trucks and cars and been purchasing from Comstock for over 30 years; service and support are great. Comstock pricing is inexpensive considering all the salesmanship (a kinder word than others) they dont put you through.I rate them by how they deal with a crises, they always pull you though no matter the situation.

Holmes tire wanted 240 dollars to dismount 3 tires and mount and balance 4 wheels due to me wanting to use aftermarket rims on my audi. Brought it to these guys and they took care of the situation perfectly. They knew the brand and fitment of the wheels and knew they would fit because they are professionals and dont slap a 60 dollar test fitment fee like Holmes. And they only charged 68 bucks. Highly recommend to anyone who is a car guy and wants to be treated right.

Tried to leave a message over the weekend, no answering machine. Went and got a new tire on Monday. Really great deal on the tire and i was able to get my oil changed. The woman at the front counter was very friendly. However, they just threw my tire into my trunk all willy nilly, didnt put it back in the proper place and they broke the special necklace i had on my mirror.

My brakes started dragging severely when I was nearby. I was a little cautious about going in b/c I thought this was a somewhat rough neighborhood.The people in this shop, though, are very friendly and professional. My problem was minor, so they fixed it FOR FREE. It will likely happen again if I dont replace some part. They wrote down the name of the part and gave me the number for their mechanic who could replace the part when Im ready.My car was fixed FOR FREE. Amazing.

Originally went to Comstock for their pricing. Needed 4 new tires for some 22s on my Chrysler 300 and the lowest I was quoted outside of them was $1300. They found me a set brand new for about $900. They were able to have them two days later which was a major plus. Staff was caring and helpful, facility is older but clean. The original appointment went well and was pretty quick given as I had 3 bottles of Slime in one tire. When I left I had noticed one of the TPMS sensors went out and my tire was still leaking. Called them the next morning and they got me in the same day. Said the TPMS sensor went out which can happen. Also said there was some debris in the rim causing the leaking. They really excelled however when they decided to replace the faulty TPMS sensor and clean out the debris free of charge. A++++ will be going there in the future and would enthusiastically recommend!

I drove here from Seattle, Wa and within my first week here, my rear tire literally popped when it got wedged in one of the holes with broken concrete and steel wedged inside while I was exiting one of the highways. I asked my new neighbors for a place I could go to replace my tire that wouldnt take advantage of me. And most of them suggested Comstock without a second thought. So I looked up Comstocks number, called them, and made an appointment for Monday morning at 7 a.m.Then I got up super early Monday morning to drive there so I wouldnt have to pay for a tow truck or interrupt work commuter traffic as I slowly crept along the side of the road. And I was very happy to see their doors open and ready for business when I pulled into their parking lot at 7 a.m. Then I was even happier about how pleasant the front desk gentleman was, especially on a Monday morning, smiling.End result: Within 30 minutes my tire was replaced with a bran new one for only $60! And Patrick, the front desk gentleman, was even nice about my dog (suggested where we could go when I said Id like to take her for a walk while waiting for the tire replacement).So If you need any kind of tire service and prefer giving your money to nice people (instead of grumpy ones, smiling) who get the job done quickly and for a reasonable price, I suggest you give these folks a try. Overpriced, dishonest and wont own up to their mistakes. Took my car to another shop and they found that the technician at Comstock forgot to reconnect a hose, so it was leaking exhaust into the cabin of the car. I asked Comstock for a refund and didnt get it.

Unfriendly, snobby, refused to provide the service without giving a reason. Illegally accessed and re-parked my open car without my permission when I came for service at the appointed time, but then refused to service when I pointed out its illegal to drive ones car without consent from the owner. The pretext they claim in response below is a completely false statement. I should have called the authorities on them.
