If you choose to go to this nail salon, you are making a big mistake. They are rude and impatient. Their work is sloppy, bumpy, and left nail polish on my fingers and hand. The polish didn’t even reach all the way to my cuticle. The nails ultimately looked cheap and fake. I had to come back and ask for another layer because the polish was so thin that it looked like a dollar store stick-on nail set. The man was rough and even put my hand in such a position that it hurt. They did not communicate with me or even greet me. They are severely understaffed and the wait time is unbelievable. I will never even consider going back.

The lady that works there is very disrespectful and unprofessional this is the 2nd time I’ve made an appointment they know who I am they know my name and every time she comes I’m an sees it’s me she says my nails are to long for her to do 2 ladies walked in and had no appointment she took them an told me she wasn’t doing mine and refused to tell me when the owner was comin in so that I can my nails done I will be reporting to the bbb to make a complaint of discrimination she needs to learn to stop. Doing this to paying customers who have lives to and stop wasting our time I will never come back again and I do not recommend and if I could’ve given a zero for all of the above I would’ve

I dont want to be harsh since Ive never had my nails done before but whether it was my audio processing issues and the mild communication barrier or just the stress of being near closing and summer ending, I had a passable experience. I ended up getting dip nails slightly longer than my natural ones in a nice dark color(there was a lovely range of colors)and overall I do like how they turned out, but I left with really low social energy and aching cuticles, the electric filing was a bit rough and the top coat ended up with almost inperceptable flecks of nail debris underneath along with tiny divots at the end of my nails that are guaranteed to bug me. I will reiterate this is my first time having my nails professionally done so I dont have the best read on what to expect, but if I do again Ill probably try a few other places before returning to New York nails

They are absolutely phenomenal here! Every time I go in Im taking care of great my eyelashes look amazing my eyebrows look amazing and my nails are even better! The sister and brother Duo are amazing theyre absolutely amazing!

I decided to take my very pregnant daughter to New York NailsI wanted her to have a special experience, and she did! She was so relaxed when we left and of course her feet were beautiful I.was going to ask them to give her an extra special treatment, but I didnt have to! The technician took extra time to make sure she felt like the princess she is. She loved it.I honestly cant think of a time when I have not felt they do the best job. I would refer anyone there, anyrime.

They are too expensive 45 for hands and 45 for pedicure ninety dollars I dont got that type of money and Im not working right now

I took my friend here for her birthday and both of us had a bad experience. I booked an appointment for the both of us at the same time and they did not sit us next to each other even though there was only one other customer in the store. My friend got acrylics and not only was nail polish was left on her hand, but her thumbs had about a half an inch difference. And she had the better experience out of the two of us.All I wanted was regular polish and for my cuticles to be groomed. I was essentially bullied into getting a dip-nail which was double the price I was initially expecting to pay and nobody clarified that beforehand. The person who did my nails, I am quite certain that was his first time ever doing a dip nail. The woman next to him kept correcting things he was doing, I was apparently instructed to wash my nails too soon until I got called back by the more knowledgeable woman. He filed my finger underneath the nail leaving me with a papercut under my nail (ouch). He layered the dip-nail on super thick. They were out of the color I wanted so I opted for a very light blue. Somehow he got black specks in it, the polish is not smooth or even (there is a larger glob on nail polish on top of my middlefinger) and for some reason parts of my light blue nail are a nasty yellow when I am outside.I was texted for feedback and I specifically said I was not going to leave a bad review online, just that I was not planning on coming back and they should know why. Then I got a text back saying to call them so they could make it right. I did and a man on the phone scheduled me for a 5:30 appointment to I guess re-do my nails? So I come in there, there are 2 customers aside from me who are waiting to get attended to. One of them walked up and said she had a 5:30 appointment. He said she would have to wait 30 more minutes. Then I piped up and said I was also scheduled for a 5:30 appointment. He got visibly upset and then said nothing more to me. I wasnt told how long it would take me to be seen or anything so I gave them 10 minutes then left. I wasnt going to leave a bad review at first but when I wasted my time coming back at their request I changed my mind.For the record, I have showed my nails to my friend whose immediate reaction was Ewww, what is that color and why is it so thick?Go to a different salon.

I came in for a 7:00pm appointment yesterday and I had to wait about 20 minutes which thats fine because I was just happy to get in somewhere last minute. Anyhow the man that did my nails was rushing me to pick a color and was rude to me about wanting changes done to my nails. I asked for a specific style and he told me okay but when it came down to doing it he said he couldnt do it. Then I said well maybe I should just change my color and his response was its to late. How is it to late when you can remove the paint and just change the color? I am paying money to have a service done and your telling me its to late? Just unprofessional all around and being the nice person that I am I still tipped this guy but he did not deserve it and had he did a great job he could of earned a $40 tip. I Will not be going back.

I love going to get my nails done the wait time is not long at all. They are very friendly and keep it nice in clean I have no complaints at all. I will be going back in two weeks!

The owner did my nails when I went to the salon. I made an appointment for 5:40. When I got there, she was working with someone else so she gave me the colors to look at and I had to wait until 6:15 for her to start my nails. You could tell the staff were very frustrated and overworked. They were complaining to each other and to the owner that she doesnt look at appointment times and needs to pay attention better so she isnt overbooking them (they were definitely overbooked and multiple people left before they even got service due to being frustrated). Many of them were saying they were hungry and needed a break.I got dip powder nails and she didnt seem very confident in what she was doing. She was very rough with my nails and almost burned my fingers with the electric filer multiple times. I had tips added to my short nails and, overall, the shape and quality of my nails turned out fair. I selected pink for the color and they turned out almost clear. You can see the tips through the nail. She said to me hm. looks very natural and when I asked if she could fix it and make it more pink she said no. She said next time pick a darker color. She had another client waiting for her to finish my nails so she was rushing too. Full price is $45 for this service and she only gave me $5 off when they did not turn out to be what I wanted. I will not be going back to the salon.

I suffer from a autoimmune disease that affects my fingernails causing them to break, chip, split, or completely fall off. When it comes to my cuticles they get thick, hard, peeling, and extra dry. She took my nails from embarrassing to beautiful. My cuticles went from dry cracked peeling to healthy looking and hydrated. First time here for myself will be returning. One of the cleanest and most pleasant nail shop I ever been in.

Excellent, fast service. Salon has been remodeled inside and has all new pedicure bowls and furniture . It is very neat and clean. Prices stayed the same from when it used to be owned by someone else. Highly recommend it. Easy to communicate with their staff.

I only get my eyebrows waxed, Jimmy the owner does brows the best. But the young woman and the older woman are pretty good too.I enjoy the atmosphere, and I have gotten my nails done here plenty of times. I just moved to Madison not long ago. So you know it’s hard to trust anyone with your nails.. but glad I came to New York nail salon, 10/10 I recommend. Staff was very welcoming. I felt so relaxed and comfortable throughout my whole appointment. I got my old acrylic nails removed and I decided to get a natural gel manicure. Best manicure I have received so far. Sidney finished with a great hand massage as well.

New York Nails does an excellent job. The dip lasts for 3 weeks and some times more. Jimmy and Cindy both do a top notch job. I highly recommend this nail salon.

My technician was very knowledgeable and proficient. It was also nice visiting with her. The final leg massage, and the lovely smelling product, was pretty dreamy.

Salon open until 8 PM. I walked in before 7 PM and only 1 person working. Was told no time for service.

I brought my girlfriend and two daughters here last weekend for a pedicure for my girlfriend and a manicure for myself and two daughters. Everyone loved their service! I would hugely recommend bringing your wife or girlfriend here for the pedicure. They did hot stone massage, on her legs, hot wax on her feet. She sat in a massage chair the whole time. Just awesome!

They were great and fit me in before closing even though I walked in pretty late. The woman who did my acrylics spent nearly an hour on them making sure they were perfect and Im very pleased. The shape is a little off because my nails were bitten all the way down, and she handled my chewed nails better than any other salon Ive been to. The sticker is also a little messed up but thats also my fault lol.

I’ve been to a lot of nail salons in Madison and I came in because I’m not picking but knew the last place didn’t do a great job. Well here they did such an awesome job, fixed 2 broken nails, colors on point and it was way cheaper than going anywhere else. Now I use them continuously. They are all very friendly! The gentleman there takes major pride in what he does! He’s kind and funny! I like that!

Nice paint job but nail tech was very rough. My cuticles were very sore. Now theyre all peeling from how she used her nippers.

The people who work there are judgmental and did a poor job on my nails. I tried them several times, yet I was never satisfied. However, the nice lady who does eyebrows was very good at her job.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only did the technician completely wreck my nails but I decided to end the service when I began to get yelled at by both him and the female owner when I realized that I was being given an up charged service that I hadnt asked for. They insisted that I did, repeatedly, in raised voices. This is of course after the technician had completely filed my nails all the way down and not evenly. I had to fix them as best as I could once I returned home. I have never in my life been treated so disrespectfully by a salon.

Got a French tip manicure here and my nails came out so pretty. The technician cut all my cuticle and cleaned my nails and fingers really good. She carefully drew a perfect white tip line on each of my nails. Good service.

Love this salon. They got great services for a very good price. I got a pedicure and was completely satisfied with their service. They took care of my feet so good that I felt like I paid for one but I got double of the service.

This is the worst nail shop I have ever gone to. I went into Myles nails two weeks ago to get a fill which was done by the 3rd nail tech in the first row. I received terrible costumer service which started off by the nail tech filing my nails down to the skin on several different nails. When I jumped back and told him he was cutting me he said it’s okay. My right middle finger stung very badly so I kept holding it and he was getting flustered. When it was time to pay he tried to charge me more for the fill than what their sign was advertising and I refused (because I was not paying a price that was not advertised and the nail tech DID NOT remove ANY nails or redo any completely to be charged extra for nail fix). He snatched my card and angrily selected the “no tip” button. When he came back he yelled at me telling me I need to pay the amount he says next time and then accused me of doing my own nails! I ignored him to avoid confrontation and every now and then he would start up until I got up from his table. Last week I had to soak off my nails because they were breaking. Today I have bruises under my nails where he cut too deep. There are several layers missing from my nails and acrylic still lies in places where the nail was too thin to remove it. I called and complained, sent pictures to the manager and he does not seem to be taking this poor service seriously. I called and sent pictures last Friday and have called everyday since to check up on what will be done about this but I’ve been getting the run around.

I called for an appointment and was told the guy who normally does my nails was gone to another place and when I went in a few weeks later for a pedicure he was there. I found that odd but decided to still get a pedicure anyways. I was told when I walked in that there was no wait and was seated right away but in freezing cold water. I let the guy know and he replaced the cold water with warm water but then I had to sit and wait so long that the water cooled down again. I would not recommend this place if you want a place to go regularly. I have also gone in on a Saturday morning as soon as the opened for a manicure and pedicure only to be stuck there for more than 2 hours.

I came in today upon opening, for an 1130 a.m. appointment. I get there and every staff is taking care of other customers and I’m still required to wait 30-45 minutes for a prescheduled service...then they become upset when I asked how much longer it’ll be. I’m sorry, I have to plan my schedule around the time you give so it’s only right that you’re considerate of mine and other customers time.

Horrible is the only way to explain, I went in for a polish change and this lady filed off all the acrylic off and half my real nails then charged me $35 for a fill. Never again will they get my $$

Tired of nail techs rushing to get nails done or predistracted with little ones. All the nail salon are the same. I should not have to fix my own nails. Worst part is you can see just aboutabout fill because old polish not removed all the way. Ive tried overlooking it, pointing it out, and today even started filing my own nails in the appt. Im so angry I had to leave so I didnt start screaming. The lady was nice and she was trying. Tired of bad service.

They have a big salon, great prices the people are great, kind and very respectful. and the best thing about this place is i dont have to make an appointment i just walk on in and get my nails done:) Also they keep it nice and clean there. Altogether i will always come back to myles nails because of their effort to make creativity and fancy designs on nails.

I am a very forgiving young professional in Madison, and I have given this place many chances. But when you treat your customers this poorly it leaves me feeling anxious to even come into the nail salon, that’s when you know there’s a problem. I have first hand witnessed the seemingly racist behavior exhibited by employees here. They have also disrespected me personally (loudly) to the point of embarrassment twice now, the first time a nail tech continually harassed me about how I must have “touched something” while he was doing my nails because some dust had gotten onto them after HE stood up. He continued to be angry about it for 20+ minutes mentioning it 5+ times and drawing attention from many other customers until I very bluntly told him I had not touched anything and to stop. Today a nail tech loudly yelled at me and interrupted me while trying to explain I didn’t need a fill and that I only wanted a polish change. I ended up just walking out the door because I’m tired of the unprofessional behavior that I seem to continually experience at this place. They have lost my business I will just make the drive to All Nails in SP because it is definitely worth the trip.

I took my daughters and mother to Myles for mani-pedis. I had made an appointment for us two days prior. We were at the salon on time, but we still waited to be serviced. I was the last one to get started, and that was an entire hour after my appointment time. I explained what we each wanted and asked how much it would cost. The prices quoted to me were not what it ended up costing. My 10 year old daughter received a painful cut to her toe during her pedicure. I was not put under a lamp to dry my nails. So it didnt take long for them to smudge.I would definitely NOT recommend Myles to anyone. And I will NEVER go there for any service again. They are not punctual or polite. And the prices they quote and have listed on the wall, change after the service has been done. I was very disappointed.
