I came to this nail shop on monday 8-9-2021 it is now thursday 8-12-2021 and my nails are brown (I got them done white) . I called the place to tell them about this and they said that they’ll only redo it once because if it does it again then i’m doing something like cleaning or getting stuff on them. Mind you I got my nails done all white with the simplest design and at first they tried saying they wouldn’t do the design but I was paying extra for it so I specifically told him how we were going to get this done. Also while I was getting my nails done the guy kept leaving, going to do someone else, was snatching my hand, and doing everything to hard to where it was hurting. When I got home my nail beds were in pain like they were bruised. I won’t be coming back to this place after I get my nails fixed.

Booked an appointment and arrived 5 minutes early. Nowhere to sit while waiting, advised it would be 30 minutes before they could get to me. Got me in 15 minutes late. Nails were rushed and got messed up right away. Looks like a teenager painted my nails. Unfortunate experience. Not recommendedEdit: added another photo for 2 hours later and somehow they’re still not dry.

I’ve been going to the same nail salon for the last few years. I called today to get my nails filled and was rudely told no, we’re busy and then hung up on me! I googled other nail salons and came upon this gem! They gladly got me in and seriously got the best service ever!!! I’m so happy with how my nails turned (I’m very picky). I’m breaking up with my old nail salon and moving on to way better! Thank you so much for amazing service 💕

Amazing, excellent, masters of their craft! This is how I would explain the quality of of my gel manicure and pedicure. By no means am I a girly girl, I landscape and get my hands DIRTY with projects. I spent a week moving my friends, and through all of this my nails still lasted 4 weeks plus! Oh, did I mention that I do dishes by hand and work in a lab setting where stainless steel is hard on my polish. Again, Jason, Ben and Kim are truly masters. Ask for one of them for yourself and find out, just make sure they dont get too busy to see me!

Dont dismiss a place just because it doesnt look like the West Side Salons. This spa may need a little more upkeep, although they did get new pedicure chairs, but my point is the professionals here who do nails, are hard-working, take their work seriously, and theyre nice. I have seen the same girl each time I have gone to visit, her name is Kim. She is a delight and I like making her friend Lisa laugh. Ive never dealt with the male employees, but they are always courteous when I call. Overall, a treat to yourself, so go for it.

Kim did my nails, she was so nice! I asked for some sort of snowflake and she went above and beyond and added a diamond and glitter. It looks soooo pretty! My sister also got a manicure with dipping powder and it turned out so good. Highly recommend this place!

Ben and everyone at LA VIE Nails are very nice and friendly. They do a great job disinfecting everything after each client, and their service is great! It was my first time here and I felt very welcomed.

Helped remove a bad Dip Powder Manicure I received at another salon. Professional, friendly, and took the time to fix my nails correctly. Would definitely recommend this establishment!

I LOVE this place!! The staff takes every precaution to ensure your safety and theirs. The prices are reasonable and I love the staff. So friendly. They love to joke around with you. Ill recommend La Vie to anyone that is looking for a great place for a mani/pedi!!

Everyone at LA VIE was very nice and professional! Very happy with the services.

First the color i picked didn’t match, once i asked for a new color the tech was extremely mad, and told me they make people come back for this usually. Once i picked just black because i was frustrated the quality of my manicure declined extremely. One nail is rippled from plush and the other isn’t painted all the way. I was still charged for the extra cost of chrome polish even though it was not the correct color. The tech did good on shape but i will never be back.

I had a pedicure and Marcus was very gentle. My toes look great and my feet are silky smooth.

Ben was super nice, made me feel very comfortable. Great people skills, and I love my Pedicure. Found my new go to spot, was looking for one. Would definitely recommend this nail spa. Very reasonably priced, and quality seems great! 🥰

$66.00 schalac pedicure and polish came off same day on my big toe. They offered to re-polish only at no charge but Im an hour away so .... dont get pedicures out of town.

Always friendly and provides great service. I usually get the hard gel when I come. I currently live in another state, so I only visit when I’m in town for the holiday. I would recommend calling or setting an apt over walk-ins they are typically very busy.

Just dropped in after a long travel day. I met a wonderful lady named Vivian that did an awesome job. This place stays busy so an appoinment is best, but they were still able to fit me in and did a great job! Great service!

I love La Vie nails, Ive been a customer here 6 or 7 years, and Ive been to at least a dozen other nail salons in Madison and Milwaukee and LA Vie is absolutely the best. The people are awesome at what they do, you can tell the owner takes care and pride in the establishment, they have multiple best in Madison awards from numerous publications... They can also do whatever trend youre looking for which is sometimes hard to find. Highly recommend!

I came here recently with my mother-in-law to get our nails done. She got polish and I got gelish polish. Her nails lasted 3 days. Mine lasted about a week and then the gel started separting from the nail. It looks very bad coming off in weird spots. Some of the gel came off in the center of the nail. I will not be choosing the gel next time.

I have never been to a nails spa that is so thorough and pleasant. They take their time and do such a good job. I cannot believe they are not more costly than others.

The individuals here at this nail salon and spa are very sweet and nice. They speak wonderful English and are easily understood. They did my nails the way that I wanted them done and took their time doing them. I have had both manicure, pedicure, and a full set from them and have been very pleased each time! Their prices are very reasonable for the work they do and the staff is friendly. The building is clean and the bathroom is lovely! Go here if you want a great experience!

Overall, one of the better pedicures Ive had in the area! May not be the most up-to-date salon, but was very accommodating to my walk-in appointment. The technician took his time on my pedicure and was very detailed & thorough. Extremely reasonable prices, too.

I really like this place, and Ive gone all over the area looking for pedicures. They have a few nail techs that are not the greatest, but they are few and far between. This is the only place I will go. They completely renovated the place about a year ago, and it is quite nice inside.

Love this place. I get pedicures here and all of the employees are great. Very friendly and clean. They always remember your name. I recommend it highly.

Younger worker with brown hair is only good at pedicures, he did my acrylic nails and they looked horrible and they didn’t dry until 3 days after and the nails didn’t look clean there was nail polish In the creases of my nails! The acrylic at the bottom inside of the nail was uneven. In another instance I was getting the horrible nails removed my appt was at 9am they didn’t start till 9:30 sorry to say many white women went before me even though I got there before them. They started taking off my nails then stopped to start another persons nails!!! I was there for almost two hours just waiting for them to finish other nails, they would start then stop then start them stop. I’ll never go here again

I just came out from having my mani-pedi done for my wedding. Ben took amazing care of me. The extra long massage of my calves, Shins, and Feet relaxed me so much that when my mother called she said it was the best I had sounded in months!

Jason is the best! I had an acrylic fill today and he made them so natural looking, just the way that I asked for. I will definately be going back to him again!

I use to go there often but I wont go there anymore. I am so disappointed and angry at this place. I had Normal gel done on my own nails. And I had gold glitter strips done on 4 fingers . It was just one strip on each of the 4 fingers . In total I paid $51-00 for just normal gel and glitter strips. Worst part is, all the glitters peeled off after 3 hours of my nails been done . My point is I over paid for this . If I had tips done than I would have paid $45-00 but I just had normal gel on my own nails . Plus everything is falling apart. 😡😡😡😡 I am very disappointed! The owner is also very rude .

I just got done with an appointment and I received a fill on my acrylics with gel polish . I ended up having to take the stickiness off of the Joe and when you read was still coming off of my nails were fully what he ignored me and went and helped another customer. Two separate people did my nails and they both did a mediocre job.

I always get excellent service and the Staff are very friendly.

Love coming here to get Shellac nails every two weeks. Ben does an excellent job and never disappoints!!

I get my nails done at a lot of different places and when I went to this one when I left my nails were all different lengths and they arnt the shape I asked for. The people here are nice though but for me the quality of my nails werent that good. The size was a lot shorter than what I wanted and the shape wasnt what I asked for and I even asked them to fix it and they just did the same thing over agian.

I first began getting my nails done by Lisa after she fixed a very poor job done at a different salon. That was years ago when she worked on the west side of Madison. When she left to join the staff at La Vie on Madisons east side, I was devastated, but decided the distance was worth getting quality work. I now travel over an hour from home just to see Lisa on a regular basis. Her work is top-notch! No bubbles in my gel or polish. And even better...as a regular customer...I have my own drawer stocked with personal nail files and buffers used only on me, so no cross contamination! I know Ill get a great mani-pedi at La Vie, which is why I keep coming back.

Not impressed. Went there today, the place was unorganized and outdated. We had an appt. but still waited about 10 min because they were oddly busy. The actual manicure was only okay. Some of the techniques seemed rushed compared to previous manicures Ive had.

I paid $30 for a full set acrylic an extra five dollars for shape and an extra five dollars for length but my nails are actually pretty short so and they all aren’t even the same size and they are different shapes some are wider and pretty much I paid more than what it was supposed to this is the worst place I’ve ever been to the guy who did my nails was very rude I will never go to this place again

Not going back after my GEL acrylic nail polish completely chipped on all my nails in less than a week..
