The location is great. They have plenty of units available. Dany and Sierra were extremely kind and helpful.

My experience at public storage was outstanding. The service was professional and efficient. I was informed about multiple products that would protect my belongings as well as the security of my unit, which I did purchase. The representatives were humorous, engaging and upbeat. I had a personal issue in August and was unable to pay my fee on time so I called Public Storage and spoke with Ashley and Ryder the property manager’s who was more the will to help me out and make payment arrangements so that I could get the money together and pay by the end of the month. I really appreciate them for doing that and I just wanted to give them a shot out and say thank you for your willingness and assistance last month.

My experience renting a unit at this location was quick and easy. Within the timeframe of a normal business day, I saw the unit in person, paid for it, and had keys/locks/site access finalized. We won two storage lockers. Called up to Public Storage to see when we can clear them out. We were told to be here by 6. We get here at 4:50. It took 30 minutes to cash out, and then the girls tell us its not Be Here BY 6 its actually Be OUT BY 6 we rented a uhaul, lost 30 extra minutes, have to clean out in 40 minutes, 2 lockers, they started blowing up our phone to make sure we knew what time it was. 5:50; 5:55... NEITHER GIRL behind that counter would stay 15 minutes after their shift to allow us to get everything out in a normal fashion. I have been a manager of restaurants, and I know the establishments are different, but policy is typically the same. Customer service or courtesy lacks here. Im not a key holder was the reason the one girl wouldnt stay a few minutes linger. Even went as far as telling us we would hate to lock you in. I will tell you this, i hoped they would because calling 911 and then having a manager or DM come let us out, really would have made my day! My husband is much nicer apparantly! You need employees that arent just tobots, and actual ppl who represent your company.

I am an elderly woman who is 73 years old. I have had to ask Ashley 1000 questions on how to get to my unit and she is extremely kind and understanding of my elderly mistakes and misunderstanding on how the process works. I have asked her 1000 questions and during that she has been courteous, and really understanding. She is so.kind and willing to help with whatever I need without a from on her face and helps whenever I need it. I reccomend her for the highest reward the company offers.

What an amazing experience I had coming into this office. The manager was so nice and super helpful and not to mention very knowledgeable about the area as well as the storage facilities. I came in fairly upset due to the reasons for our need for a storage unit to begin with. June was sympathetic to our situation and went over and beyond to answer all of our questions. For this to just be a storage facility you would have thought that she was renting a home the way she described the property and showed me around. When I came into this place with my sister we felt welcomed and genuinely surrounded by good people. I was very pleased with Joyce outstanding customer service. Shes such a good person. She gave me a nice tour around the entire place and rode around in the buggy. She definitely helped me narrowed down my options so that I will choose the right storage unit that was right for me. The place saved me time, money and was very convenient. My overall experience at this location was great, the staff is great and my expectations were met! Once again Ashley came to my rescue the beginning of January 2021. I have two storage units with Public Storage in Madison Heights and pay over the phone. I made a mistake and payed the wrong amounts on both units. On January 4th 2021, Ashley gave me a curticy call to say even though my account showed I payed, it was not the correct amount. Ashley saved me from incurring two late fees. Who does that? Ashley does that. I am very grateful for her swift action to help. This is my second time renting a unit from this location. Joyce is very knowledgeable and super friendly. She always makes us laugh. Jaclyn is a pleasure to talk to and is great at her job. Both ladies had us set up with our unit very fast and efficiently. They are extremely helpful. Its always very clean there and we have never had any issues. I recommend this public storage to anyone. I was having a hard time deciding which size I would need so Shawna asked me to list some of the things that I needed to box up and once I did she was able to tell me exactly what I needed. After my visit, I’ve decided to use the Madison Heights Public Storage to keep my belongings safe until I move into my new home. 10/10 recommendation.

I’ve had a storage unit for my small business at this location for going on 15 years on & off, and have always loved the location as well as the staff whenever I drop by the office to either pay my monthly bill or inquire about upsizing my storage unit. Very friendly and helpful employees offering suggestions and or options of making my storage changes or upgrades very fast and simplistic. Ashley and Joy who both work in the office are very knowledgeable of the different opportunities going on now with the new year here already. The building is very clean. I have had to use the restrooms on several occasions and they are always clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The storage units need attention, other than that, I would recommend this public storage to anyone. Andy doesnt normally work there but he was great one day when I came in to pay my bill and I had a lot of questions. Very professional and they do things with excellence......

The facility is very nice, clean, secure and convenient but the STAFF is the true highlight!!! I had the pleasure of meeting and going through the leasing process with the property Manager Joyce and her associate Amy and these ladies are just wonderful!! The rest of the staff that I have been able to meet has been very nice and helpful as well. Ive left with a big smile on my face every time I visit the office. Great facility.

I got an uncovered car parking spot and a 5x10 storage unit with Public Storage. The units were clean and in great condition. The employees Joyce and Alana were extremely helpful and nice, and even did the calculation to see what combination of promotions would save me the most money. They were so pleasant to work with that I didnt get too upset at all the hidden fees. I was required to get insurance on the unit, and pay an administration fee for both units.Joyce & Alana, I hope you see this. I promised I would post a review!

I went in to rent a climate controlled storage unit, which was advertised on the website. The door to the indoor units was frozen shut (good luck getting to your stuff) and the employee had to call management. At that time, it was revealed that the climate controlled units are not climate controlled at all. There is no heating/cooling in that building. Im glad we were not able to get into the building, otherwise they would have gladly charged me the full climate control rate for a non heated/cooled unit.

Used this storage facility for 3 months. Had a wonderful experience. Very friendly staff and super clean faculty.

Heather and Jamie were wonderful! Service was always friendly and quick. I was always able to come talk to them on my lunch breaks and have time to spare. Very friendly. I would definitely rent from this location again in the future.

Joyce and everyone we talked to were extremely helpful. We had items to store at the last minute and they had a unit available. We were heading out of town and would need the items eventually, they answered our questions and worked with us as we coordinated times for a truck to be dropped off and picked up a few days later. A truck was delivered, left on site, to be packed over an upcoming weekend. We set up a time to be back to pack up our storage unit over that weekend. Joyce and team were extremely accommodating in helping us have the truck placed and left on their property so that it was accessible to us and not an inconvenience for other customers. They were available, accommodating and always professional in helping us with our needs. We highly recommend this location and would use them again in the future.-Mike

Safety, easy access, Knowledgeable staff. It is true that my rate was raised several times.from $392 originally to $489. This was over a two year period. I thought since I was paying automatically it would assure me a better rate. I still, however, give them 5 stars! ANDY and KIAUNA are awesome!

I have had my storage unit for over 5 years. I moved away from my home state of MI to Chicago. As much as I didnt plan on having a storage unit this long, each time I have had to connect with the staff here, it was a great experience. I have had frozen locks, lost keys, and lots of trips to and from in order to finally get it cleaned out. Joyce and the team here have always been great to work with. On my final close out date - Joyce and Robin were there and were helpful right to the end! thanks ladies..I think I will miss you!!! Good luck in all you do, and thank you.

Once I decided that I was going to move I realized I had way too much crap for my own good. After this realization I thought it would be best if I started moving all my stuff ahead of time so I wouldnt have to deal with it all on move day. I found this Public Storage online and with the great prices I couldnt pass. When I arrived Joyce was more then helpful when showing me my unit. I didnt think to bring my own lock but they had me covered. All around good experience!

My need for storage was due to a quick and erratic move. Joyce was awesome, she showed me the unit and was basically on stand by as to how soon I would need the space. She wasnt available on the date I needed to store my items, but Andy stepped in and also gave superior service and made sure I was comfortable with my unit. Tessa was very helpful and sold me a packing box that I really needed, she also suggested packing tape that, in my hurried state, I almost didnt get! I was so pleased with this location and I will definitely share my experience with my friends and family. They are all an asset to Public Storage!!

Keep an eye on your bill if you use autopay. They continually increase your rate without notice.The last price hike yesterday out of the blue was a 27.7% increase in rent (from $101 to $129). When I asked customer service why my bill increased almost 30% they replied :“ we understand an increase in rent is never a welcome event, we believe our rates are still competitively priced”Well that’s a big F!#* you if I’ve ever heard one. I’m emptying my unit ASAP. They’re not the only show in town.

Highly recommend this storage location. If you need help, ask the awesome chivette Tessa! If she isnt there, ask Ashley! She might not hear if you ask about a Google Play card and think youre saying a Go Play card, but shes awesome too!In all seriousness, great, accommodating staff. Very easy to work with.
