The associate that helped me in store took care of an issue I tried to do through my app and over the phone multiple times throughout the month within seconds! Thank you so much for your attention to detail, courteous manners and assistance. If anyone ever thinks its a hassle to go in store take my word when I say its no hassle at all. In and out with great customer service!

I was going to post a negative review from my computer then realized I can’t because as usual our internet is out. We have had issues with our internet since having Cox cable and every time they just say we need to switch our modem. We have now been through 6 modems this year and numerous technicians that never seem to know what they’re doing. I’d advise just not having internet than doing business with Cox, because it might as well be the same thing and yet you have to pay Cox.

The female that assisted me was knowledgeable, patient, and very kind to follow up with registering my equipment personally. A great asset to Cox team and she greeted every guest that entered the business although her co-workers never chined in. Great work Cox, shes definitely manager material.

After calling/chatting with support failed me multiple times, I went to the store. I was being charged for the wrong plan and automatic payment wasnt set up. Diamond and Jimmy, her SUPERvisor (emphasis on the SUPER according to others), cleared everything right up.Great attitude from the staff. They ensured I was on the proper plan, cleared up the billing issue, and verified my information was correct. (The tech on the phone misspelled my email when I signed up and signed me up for the wrong plan.

I been with cox for 3 years now and my internet and cable is always down. I pay almost 300 dollars a month for internet and cable and its always down am switching to another cable company I am tired wasting money with Cox!!

Cox called me several times leaving messages stating a field representative wanted to pick up equipment that I never even had. I called the number back and they stated I had a bill and to contact another number as I did. Come to find out they had my phone number linked to a whole nother address. Ive dealt with Cox in the past and its always been a hassle. I tried a few months ago to give them another opportunity by ordering straight up internet. Equipment was taking too long to send out. I cancelled the order. Such a waste of time and energy to even deal with. 😤

The representative at the store was super nice and informative.But when you call on the phone its the worst customer service ever! Rude, not informative and quick to transfer you to different departments or hang up on you... they charge all these different fees and wont explain why...

Came in on a Saturday for an equipment replacement. The store in open for 4 hours on Saturdays so it was busy. Nevertheless, the staff was fast and friendly. I was in and out within 30 minutes, tops.

Paid $160 per month for cable and internet for 2 years, then our contract ended and they wanted to charge us $190 per month for the same package. Why should the price go up $30 per month for the same package?! We ended up canceling the cable and switching to internet only. I found an offer online for $96 per month (its sad that this is considered a good price), but the representative in the store told me that was an error and that the lowest he could do was $110. I signed up online in front of him and got the discounted price of $96 per month, and of course he couldnt give me a good reason as to why I was able to sign up for a cheaper price on my own. Two days after canceling our cable we got a phone call offering us our old package (cable + internet) for $120 per month. My husband answered the call and didnt want to make a decision without me, so he told them he would think about it and call them back. I called back today to accept the offer for them to tell us that $120 per month is not possible, and the cheapest price they could ever offer us is $190 per month. After asking to be transferred to a different representative, I wasnt able to get a good deal on the cable + internet package, but she did offer me a discount on the internet ($78 per month). So the representative in the store told me the best price he could give me is $110 per month, yet somehow Im now paying $78 per month for the same internet. This business is greedy and doesnt care about anything but money and ripping off their customers. If they didnt have the monopoly in our area, I would cancel all services and switch to another business. I cant wait to move out of Macon so I never have to use their service again.

Have been calling for the past 2 days with no answer. My wifi got “cancelled” after only having it for 2 weeks. Apparently the appointment the store associate told me not to worry about actually meant something. You’d think they would cancel the appointment when I came to pick up my equipment.

Their social distancing practices were appreciated. There was a brief line to get into the store and fortunately there was a tent to help deter some of the direct sunlight. Once I got in the store I was helped promptly and on my way. I miss having the location in Presidential Parkway, but otherwise, it was a good experience. Thank you Cox.

Completely disappointed with cox. The store and the folks there are great! But if you have any issues, cox refuses to do anything. Their line that connects to my house snapped off and when I called for them to fix it cause its laying across my driveway and partly hanging off a tree they pushed an appointment a week out. I have kids and dogs and this line is just laying there. Told them what if it catches fire since its live. Oh just call emergency services. What kind of bull is that? No concern at all for customers and on top of that, they cancel my appointment 1 day prior and I had to call 6 times before anyone would actually understand what Im saying. Im disgusted but I cant get cable service elsewhere so I have to deal with the price and lack of customer service and lack of concern in a situation like this.

What’s great about this place is a staff. I referred people Who themselves have witnessed what I see. A great person to contact here is Diamond Brown she is thorough and will let you know all your options. Super big smile on her face and a pleasant personality. They even open the door for you when you come in empty-handed and when you leave with your new equipment. You don’t have to pay much to have high quality connection. Let them know what you need and I’m sure they will figure it out.

Today, after not only being disconnected from my service after two tech reps claimed they could not resolve my problem and one outright lied to me, I attempted to go to the Cox store. This was also necessary as for some reason Im not quite understanding, the Cox Wifi app, the one I could use to reset my service myself, would not allow me to log in at all. It would not allow me to click the sign in page.I understand there is mask controversy. What I also understand is that I have a legitimate breathing problem and not only according to my doctor, but also in line with the CDC recommendations, I am unable to wear a mask. I usually carry a face shield with me, but today I did not have it. I pulled up to the store, saw the business had no signage indicated masks were required and opened the door to go inside. Alex greeted me telling me that I could not enter without a mask, which was quite odd since there is no signage indicating such. I told him I have a breathing condition that precludes me from wearing a mask. I told him that although denying me entry is a direct violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA( I would be willing to simply stand outside while he switched out my modem, something I happen to know required no sign in no waiting because I was there two weeks ago for this same issue. Alex told me that I would not be allowed to do this because I had to sign in and that unless I put on a mask, (unless I risked my life to stand outside on the sidewalk) Cox would do nothing for me. He then enlisted Deprise--Im assuming thats his name because when I asked his name he had to think for a while before giving me one. I took my inhaler that clearly has my name and prescription on the front and they together told me that they would do nothing--even if I waited outside the store. I reminded them that denying me entry is not only a violation of my civil rights, it is also a violation of Federal Law. Would you like to know what Alex thinks of our nations Federal government? Ill tell you, and Im quoting, Well then why dont you just go and get them then because they dont apply here. Yes. Thats correct. Federal Law is not applicable in the Cox Cable store. Apparently, Alex, not Donald Trump is our president and I also assume our president-elect. Alex has the ability to overturn the 14th amendment to our constitution--you know the constitution we celebrated our Veterans service to keeping inviolable? I will be in touch with my lawyer. Oh, Alex knows that as well. He says he doesnt care about lawyers either. I expect to return to Cox today or tomorrow and find that Cox has decided it does recognized all our laws and statues and constitution. Please also tuned in for the article Ill be posting on my Hubpages site regarding the disregard Cox has for customers and our government, choosing to embrace lawlessness as their foundation.

I ran into Cox Business Executive, Mr. Steve Clark who was caring enough to listen to my issues and connect me with Mr. Trevor Williams at the local store. Trevor was awesome! This company sent my account over to a bill collector when I never used their service a day in my life never had a chance to use the system because it wasnt compatible so I gave it back to them the very next day and they closed out my account and told me that I am good because I never got started with them so I am good but I get a letter from a bill collector I AM WRITING A DISPUTE AGAISNT THEM!

This Cox store on Riverside Dr. is really nice inside with professional workers. The workers are very informative when asked a question and will try to get you the best deal possible. My last visit I spoke with Trevor Williams and he was so very nice patient and informative. He gave the best deal possible. I just couldnt get over how nice and professional he was. I appreciated all my questions he answered. He gives his full attention to his customers. Thanks Trevor Williams😉.

Rude, rude, rude. They need to think before they speak. When disabled and the medical issues keep you from standing in a line out side when it is 96 degrees outside they tell you wait in your car and we will have someone come to you, when it is your turn. So waiting and seeing that 2 people that came after me being let into the store finally someone came to my car. I was just dropping off faulty equipment of theres. He stated he would take it from me and he would have a receipt emailed to me. I was ok with that but when asking for a recipt for returning the equipment he stated that he could not give me one because they have so many customers in line and I cant just skip over them. Keep in mind that I was there before the long line formed. When explaining that I was there before all of the line of people, he was arguing with me over a recipt...Was not untilI asked for his manager he decided to get a Receipt for me. I have returned equipment before and was charged stating I never returned it. Customer service needs major improvement.

Cox originally mailed the wrong modem to me, so I drove out to the Cox store to get the correct modem. Staff was very professional and friendly. Honestly the first place Ive been too where they hold the door open for you and walk in with you while listening to your needs. The visit only took about 5 minutes to get everything straightened out. The staff were knowledgeable and very friendly.

Our visit at the store was great ! But we should have never had to go there. Our services was discontinued because a person unknown to us had there service forwarded from our address to hers and shut off here with just a phone call..We have been here for over 10 yrs and coxs service for several...after a day without service , because we were told it was technical trouble we finally got in touch with someone and after an hr or so decided that WE would have to drive across town in traffic for another hr..WHY?....GET THIS to PROVE we lived here and get service restored. But this lady just made a phone call had our service cut off and moved to her location with no identification at all. Go figure..Results ....I did finally get service restored the people in the store was great...We had just paid a bill 5 days earlier and they could see this but still chose to put us through all this trouble on Friday the day before the wk end. Like we can run up to there store just whenever / no problem. Customer service you tell me?

I guess Saturday afternoons are high traffic for this store. I got in the store and the sign-in kiosk was out of order. I signed the paper roster, as instructed. The associated quickly navigated the roster. Some peoples issues are more intense than others. My issue was pretty simple so the associated quickly helped me. The music in the store can be loud but it wasnt the worse experience.

I must say the store in itself is OK. But over all Cox communications as a whole has completely disappointed me. Its like they feel they have a monopoly so they do not have to offer good customer service. And while ill agree that they do have one of the best Internet services around they still need to learn how to be more customer friendly

After being charged for the highest speed of Internet for 3 years, we call about our service being slow and buffering every time we watch a show, and find out that we actually have the slowest Internet and slowest box, so we finally get a new box and it ends up being slower than the original one. We decided to add cable, so we could watch the shows in real time on TV, and we were given a used box, no cable wires, with the wrong remote (charged over $100 for the devices) and had to set it all up ourselves. Once it programs, only 10 of the channels were working, so we go to trade it our box for a new one. Now, we are still stuck without cable because the new cord doesnt work, and none of our dvr services (rewind, pause and record) doesnt work! We have been Cox customers for years are are so disappointed with how the Cox experience has gone down hill. None of the services work correctly! The employees are Not helpful! And the prices are very ridiculous! I am very disappointed. How can the owners sleep at night knowing they are scamming their customers, when they have a multi-million dollar company. Quality is more important than Quantity!

The store itself is probably a 4 star but Cox overcharges for so many things. They will also offer special deals to one side of town and not to people in other areas which seems pretty unfair. My cable took almost a year to get buried even though i was told a couple of weeks max. I had cox turned off due to increasing rates and then when mowing the yard discovered part of the coaxial cable had not been buried like i was told and yes....my mower found it

I dont understand why they moved their office out where it is so far out of town. They should have found a place downtown which would be closer to their clients. I understand they would rather have people use the internet to do their business but there are times when that wont work. Of course, being cox cable Im not surprised they dont want to help anybody.

I rated my experience based on in store and telephone customer service combo. It blows my mind how expensive the service is. My monthly bill was $285 average for phone, internet, 4 mini boxes and a dvr.(No premium channels at all!!!!) Been a customer over 30 years. Didnt give me a discount for my loyalty. When you call, the customer service workers are usually nasty but when I went to completely discount my cable, I was asked why didnt I come speak with them...really? They should be on 1 accord. Well, Ive bought 5 Fire sticks and if i find better service Im dropping them completely with my home phone and internet. Theres to many options out here and have to pay crazy prices. So i guess they dont really give discounts unless youre getting public assistance or youre a new customer . Cox Cable doesnt really care about customers. Ive experienced only about 3 good ones over the phone and 2 in the store.

Oh yea turned in my Cox cable boxes feed up with that 126.00 $ a month was 78 $ for basic cable well I installed a digital antenna. Paid only 23.00$ and Dont pay any one a get over 35 channels and darn good ones

Store staff was friendly, but the overall cox experience has been awful. Had I known that it would be at least 48 hours before I could get my internet I would have just gone through another provider. Customer support is kind, but not very helpful. Certainly dont feel valued as someone who is attempting to hand them $60/month

Gave old used equipment with a very old manufactured date that kept cutting off. Had to take it back and stand in line for one hour twenty minutes to get another older style cable box. Will definitely drive to WR store for better service
