Service is getting worse. The in-hotel restaurant is now serving boxed sandwiches and they have a self serve Crispy Crème service booth. They told me to go to the Hilton next door for food - way to support the competition! Bus is never on time or leaves 5 minutes before expected departure to the airport. The rooms are nice. Service is taking a nose dive, unlike their room and parking costs. Probably my last stay with so many options close by.

Clean, quiet, spacious! The staff was so helpful and friendly even as I checked in in the middle of the night with 2 exhausted kids. I hope I dont get stranded at LAX in the middle of the night and have to find a place to stay at 3am, but if I do, Id 100% stay here! Front desk, shuttle driver and housekeeping get special shout outs!!

Superbly comfortable beds! Easy place to get a good night’s sleep after battling travel these days. Free 24/7 airport shuttle (Joe’s Transportation) with a very helpful driver comes every 20-30 minutes to take you from airport to hotel. Can order food through Grubhub, Uber Eats, and DoorDash for late night tummy grumblings. But a sandwich/ old school coffee shop and a Coffee Bean is also a 2 minute walk away during the day.

Decent enough Courtyard Marriott. Nothing complex, no frills, just a solid, clean and relaxing Courtyard Marriott. Bistro food can be ordered, local restaurants do have delivery options and the gym is quality with dumbbells and cardio machines.

As a Bonvoy member I was very disappointed here and felt quite unsafe. There was a big party going on in the halls after 1:AM. The place smelled of pot in the halls too. In the AM the party goers also played very loud offensive inappropriate videos in the breakfast room where there were families with young kids.

Every website showed $99 for a room here last night. I walked in and asked for a room. The desk clerk never said a word, never asked what I wanted, or how many guests. She just ran my card and handed me a room key. It was a basic room with a king bed. I was offered no receipt or anything. After getting to our room, I checked my account and discovered I was charged $215. Real nice of them. Dont stay here without booking through a 3rd party site or they will price gouge you like they did me.

The convenience of being seven minutes from the airport is great especially if you have to catch an early morning flight and not want to fight the morning LA traffic. The rooms are decent and staff were friendly. No valet and you have to park your car out in the parking lot which doesnt have good lighting.

The only advantage is close to the airport. The hotel is not modern enough compare to other Courtyard. Air conditioner blows towards the bed. Carpet is dated, bath tub is ok. expensive parking - $21 overnightDont park on the street because no parking from 2-6am.

Staff was friendly, room was clean and ready to go. Mattress reminded me of my backpacking trips and sleeping on a thin strip of foam padding - pretty darn hard. I did like the web enabled TV - I was able to log in to my Netflix account and pick up on the show I was watching earlier in the day.

Positive: close to the airport, didnt hear much airplane traffic. Room card needed to access separate lobby area to board elevators. Comfy beds. Negative: Parking fees are extremely high (almost half the cost of the room), and spaces are super narrow!! Food choices are limited in area.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly disappointed. The website is misleading. Restaurant/pub is not open for breakfast/lunch. Microwave is only in convenience store. You cannot see Staple Center from hotel. The hotel views are blocked by other buildings. There are no separate tub and showers, nor is there a whirlpool tub. Nothing is wet on the wet bar aside from a bottled water that costs $5 if u touch it. There is no scheduled shuttle to/from airport so you will risk missing your flight if it’s early. The thermostat goes to 80° but doesn’t go past 72° so they gave me a space heater. The water was being worked on when arrived so I missed an appointment. The t-v was out a night and the streaming from phone was out the entire weekend. The windows open fully but the screen was broke. There’s gnats to greet you along the entrance; along with a homeless person with their belongings stretched out on the only bench! Avoid at all costs. I am done with the Marriott!

Reserved one night layover to Mexico. Hotel shuttle passed us TWO times when we arrived at a/p. Another shuttle driver took pity on us when we were there and took us to this hotel. She told us this hotel and drivers were notorious for not stopping. Hotel desk clerk said needed to do something. He sure does, like answer the phone and coordinate with his shuttle drivers. Otherwise you just phone and get a recorded message. Place was pretty deserted so wouldnt have taken much effort to do that. Room missing bathroom cups for water. They dont care about service. Stay at another place.

Mold in vents above shower!!! Not only was there mold in one room, but they showed me 2 more rooms and they had the same problem. These vents look like they have not been touched or cleaned since the building was built. Very dirty and moldy. Would never stay at this hotel again. I was also told I was going to get a call from the manager, but here we are 2 days later and I still have not received a call. This was not ideal to deal with as I was trying to go to bed. I had to go to a different hotel to try to find a room late at night. Very disappointed!

Beds are comfortable and our room was pretty spacious but my experience here was enough to never book with Marriott again. As soon as we arrived the lady up front was rude and made our check-in really complicated and she ended up charging us $200 more than the price we had booked through a 3rd party app. When I mentioned this to her she said “that’s what we charge” and she clearly didn’t want to put up with anyone. The app also said this hotel offered a complimentary breakfast. When I asked about it they said “no we don’t do that” and said if we were hungry we should look up restaurants nearby online condescendingly. Poor wifi that kept kicking us out mid-stream multiple times, you have to call them each time and wait about 15mins to try streaming again. We only needed to use the tv when going to bed anyway, but for what we paid it really feels like we’re being jipped of a decent experience. Way too pricey for a room the quality of a motel.

The rooms spacious, but not very clean. The fridge was not very cold at all, it felt like a cooler.The staff are truly awful, rude, condescending and just unpleasant. I stay at Marriotts all over, but the staff at this location are SO RUDE. It wasnt just one person. I was here for three days and every day, morning and evening, all the front desk workers are the most unpleasant people Ive ever encountered in my life. They act as though helping someone is purgatory every single time. God forbid you have a question, because they treat you like youre utter trash.

If anyone out there is searching for deals for hotels and resorts browse through ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ booked a hotel room on there and they had the lowest rates anywhere!This hotel is awesome! The food was all delicious and the service is great. The room was clean and no problems with any bugs or anything. All the outlets worked and anything else in the room. Assisted everywhere and provided all the necessary quality care. I would love to return there for another stay. Overall it was an excellent stay! Thank you!

Overall, a great hotel. Transportation to and from the airport is easy. The downside, if you are a Marriott Bonvoy member, avoid this hotel. I have had to call the platinum desk more than 3 times to report missing stays at this hotel. One night, two night, and three night stays never showing up on my account. I am aware they have 10 business days to process the stay. Even after 10 business days, nothing on my account. If you stay here, watch your bonvoy account. I have called the hotel to remedy the situation and they do not resolve it. I have stayed at countless Marriott properties near LAX. This is the only property who fails to credit your nights stayed and Marriott bonvoy points.

It’s a nice hotel. Just be aware that the only options for dining during the pandemic are the little convenience store in the lobby or takeout from another hotel. They have menus for that hotel in the rooms but there is no delivery - you have to walk over to pick up. The staff members that I encountered were all super friendly and helpful. Overall, good experience.

Overall the room was ok but the service definitely did not meet the Marriott standards. Weve been to many of their properties during the pandemic but this has to be the worst case. No telephones in the room, the shuttle service never showed up while checking in the hotel. We waited more than 45 minutes at the airport before another shuttle person was kind enough to help us out. Once at the hotel the staff did nothing to explain or welcome us. No water offered. We understand this is a pandemic situation but we have seen and experienced better. I would just skip this hotel next time.

Well quite a lousy experience for our first visit to this Courtyard by Marriott LAX hotel on 3-4-2021 at 9pm. Before we could even get into the hotel, the parking gate would not open. My wife had to leave the car and go into the front desk to ask for help. There she met Eric the manager who told her to wait while he finished with a customer, regardless of our predicament of backing up the front parking lot driveway with other cars behind us. Once he was finally ready, he told my wife to go back to the gate and push the gate speaker button and he would answer it and presumably let us in. Geez, he could have taken a second to tell my wife that when she first came in. Well, while Eric was telling my wife this, I was outside at the gate pushing the speaker button and Eric did not answer. I pushed it approximately 15 times (it would ring about 5 times then stop) and no one answered. 3- 5 cars were now backed up behind my car at the gate. My wife went back into the hotel and told Eric who flippantly admitted the call speaker must not be working (and no sorry or apology was given). This employee was very rude, and he made us feel like WE did something wrong (we finally got into the lot by a customer who experienced the same problem and told us to go around to a second entrance that was functioning properly). Of all the Marriots we have stayed at, Eric was the rudest and most unhelpful Marriott employee we have ever met. If you want to avoid problems like this at the end of a long day, avoid manager Eric and this hotel at all costs!

Upon arrival, we were told there would be a $250 hold on our card for “incidental fees” on top of the room price. They don’t offer free breakfast and apparently the hotel maids don’t clean due to Covid. They provide extra towels but it’s contactless and they place them on the dirty floor outside the room door. $15 for parking per night. The hotel wasn’t even all that. It was extended basic. I would recommend finding a better hotel company that doesn’t enable laziness and subpar service. Also, make sure your charges go through if you book online. I got a confirmation but apparently they didn’t charge until I got at the hotel.

The hotel has really poor shuttle services. Don’t be fooled by its 24h/7day advertisement. I wish I had booked sonesta it has much better price and I have seen three shuttles of sonesta (also their hotel brand shuttles), in contrast I only saw one courtyard shuttle and that one was operated by joe’s parking and that one didn’t stop. Really frustrated for an hour wait. Yea their shuttle comes every 30 mins. Hyatt regency had 6 shuttles passed already.Alright change my rating from 1star to 4 star I was really mad last night because of the shuttle. However I have to admit people work on the front desk are pretty professional. They appear to listen to the guest and are willing to assist the guest. They were very responsive; one reason I didn’t book sonesta was because when I called the local number no one answered the phone. The room of courtyard was pretty comfortable and quiet. I felt very relaxed in the room and fell into sleep easily. I guess the mattress the pillows and comforter and the overall ambience helped

Not a good experience! Parking charges of $40 dollars per night! Terrible wifi, works 5 minutes then it gets interrupted. Rooms are poorly designed, with the handwash sink almost in the middle of the room, between the two beds! If you are accompanied, you have to watch and listen all of your room mate moves!

I stayed here overnight as I had a long layover traveling from South America back to Alaska. I wanted something close to the airport, but you wouldn’t know it was by the airport! the rooms were so very quiet! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The decor was up to date and stylish. They don’t have the typical continental breakfasts, they have much more; you have to pay, but well worth it! Food fresh and delicious.The rooms were well laid out and beds comfy! I would say the cost was very comparable to other hotels around. I will definitely stay here again Thank You

We had a one night layover at LAX and booked this Courtyard as its really close to the airport. Everyone, from our airport shuttle driver to the receptionist at checkout was exceptional. They took great care of us!The rooms are large! Everything was clean and the bed was super comfy. All the rooms are completely soundproof as well. From our window, we could see the airplanes landing and taking off the runway in complete silence! Would love to stay here on future layovers!! Modern Marriott property in close proximity to the airport. The rooms are a good size for a Courtyard property, and they have plenty of outlets and USB ports. My room did only have daylight bulbs in all the fixtures, which was frustrating. Classic Marriott. Also the parking costs are steep, but there is street parking as well as a garage right next door for marginally less.

From the moment you arrive the staff service is excellent with friendly and knowledgeable staff in all departments. You will be given a briefing during check in of all the hotel facilities and amenities and what options you have. The room is spacious clean and very comfortable although the shower heads in the bathroom need to be upgraded to provide more water.During breakfast and dinner the service staff at the Bistro were always smiling and could share jokes with them and they generally just brighten up your day. Shuttle service is fast and efficient to the relevant airlines.

Ill keep this simple and short. My stay in the LAX Century Blvd location was impeccable! The staff was warm, friendly, and accommodating! The previous night (New Years Eve/Day) I stayed at a Hilton...and I was so disappointed I demanded my money back.Ive stayed all over the world for both work and pleasure, and Marriott Properties always, always, always have taken great care of me, my family, or employees. Ive had the opportunity to stay in other places, and when I do, I usually walk away feeling let down. Given the choice Ill always stay at a Marriott!! This hotel has the makings of an upgraded Courtyard Marriott. They offer “valet” and have a vast web enabled multi-use space. For some reason, my Bonvoy prefs were not readily honored but they made it right However, once you get passed the lobby and into your room, the experience begins to decline. My sink basin and mirror were situated in the actual room which was so terribly awkward whilst traveling with a tween aged child. The “valet” that I mentioned is a fancy way or allowing the hotel associates to manage their parking spaces. There aren’t that many. At a cost of $45/day - it’s certainly not the most expensive- but there was no one opening my door. Greeting me with a smile... I was even asked if I wanted to park my own car on a few occasions despite this crazy parking expense. Do yourself a favor and select one of the other parking garages. On a high note, the bistro had great breakfast menu selections like banana bread fresh toast that was surprisingly decadent. The dinner and lunch options were great too. I wouldn’t stay here again because of the strange room layout with no privacy and the non-valet valet.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. They were able to check us in early - around noon - and we were most satisfied with our room! We had no issues with sounds from the airport. The location was very central, as tourists we walked to the In-N-Out and stores near by. The bathroom sink outside the room was a real pro in the mornings so people could shower and use the toilet while others were brushing teeth and applying make-up. The beds were very comfortable - we slept for almost 13 hours straight! Perfect cleanliness, all the expected amenities (hair blow dryer, shampoo & conditioner, coffee). We had extra towels too. We had a pleasant stay and I will definitely not hesitate to book here again and I can recommend this hotel to others.

We stayed at the courtyard LA due to the proximity of the airport and Shuttle.As all Marriott affiliates… Stylish, roomy, excellent stop and check in process. Breakfast was excellent except we had four adults (as per our reservation )and breakfast was included however when we went to get our food our only allowance Was for two adults and two kids so two of the adults had to eat kid meals for breakfast. This may have been in the FinePrint that I may have missed but it does not seem logical and the reservations for me for four adults. That is a very small item to the amazing overnight we had at the courtyard. Also a skyline tour which picked us up from the hotel and dropped us back off… We had an amazing time!

Our Courtyard experience is usually very good, so we were glad to hit Courtyard at 2:00AM after a red eye flight. Check in was pleasant and quick, and we looked forward to getting to our room. We were not resting easily when we saw the lack of maintenance in the room. Housekeeping gets big kudos for trying to make this tired beast look good. The bathroom was spotless. The carpet was warn and pulled away from the floor at the door threshold, Leisure Suit Larry would have loved the beat up old couch, we were afraid to sit on it. The sheets were fresh and crisp and you could tell housekeeping was doing the utmost to make something pleasant from a rough base. We were extremely disappointed at the state of the accommodations. I almost always leave nice reviews, recognizing people in the hotel industry for their hard work. This is quite out of character for me. But, I would have wanted to know this information so that I could have booked elsewhere. While we will rebook Courtyard elsewhere, this Courtyard at 6161 Century Blvd. near LAX will not be one of them. Ever.

We were very pleased to have the bathroom sink outside the bathroom, so people could brush their teeth and apply makeup while others were using the shower or toilet - really helped with the morning routine in sharing a bathroom. The beds were very comfortable, including mattresses, sheets, pillows. The room was extremely clean, spacious and we were able to achieve comfortable temperatures with the thermostat. The hotel is very centrally located, close to the airport, complimentary airport shuttle, and walking distance to shopping. We are already planning to return and I would recommend this hotel to others!

If anybody is trying to find good deals for hotels visit RoomBully. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!We had a one night layover at LAX and booked this Courtyard as its really close to the airport. Everyone, from our airport shuttle driver to the receptionist at checkout was exceptional. They took great care of us!

Fine hotel. Nice lobby. Dated rooms. Right next to LAX and that is why you would stay here so dont really need much more then that. Basically it is the same as any other courtyard you have ever stayed at but maybe a bit more dated. Again. It is fine. It right by LAX.

I stayed here for a couple of hours waiting for my flight. I ordered food, which was great, theres also a little snack shop. The check-in and check-out was painless and quick.Good price and they have an airport shuttle.

Pros - great front desk cons - can’t work with the WiFi . Had to tether my phone . The air con is a little weird to work with and seems always high and blow on your face in bed .
