One thing I’ve learned about fillers is that getting it safely injected is only 50% of the job. The real skill of the person administering it comes with placing and shaping it to match the contours of your face. It really takes a keen eye and an understanding of what makes a face look “beautiful” to pull it off. I used to go medi-spas to get fillers done and it was always a hit-or-miss experience, which made going in really nerve-wracking. Dr. Fitzgerald was recommended to me one day by a medi-spa clinician of all people because the specific issue on my face that I wanted resolved was too intricate for the staff there. So I went in to see Dr Fitzgerald and the rest is history. I haven’t looked back since. I’ve been going in to see her for about 6 yeas now. Every time I go in to see her, the job she does looks better and better. She spends so much time making sure she places the filler at juuuuust the right place. It’s masterful to be honest. I’ve told her this plenty of times. If u go see her once, you’ll see what I’m talking about. It’s worth it!

I have an insisting case of melasma, I have visited many doctors and I have been advised to proceed with all the wrong methods. Lenin is the best massage therapist Ive ever had - I hope he never leaves this place! I started an account just so I can warn people about this Dr.After trying to convince me that one side of my face was larger than the other and to use an entire tube of filler only on one side, I told her I dont see it that way and that if she does filler, to do it evenly. She proceeded to use so much filler on only one side of my face that that night I thought I might have to go to the hospital because the swelling was so bad (not to mention how deformed my face looked). My vision went blurry and never returned to normal. I have to see an eye specialist now to make sure she didnt damage any ocular nerves. To top it off, I started to faint while she doing all this because she was being so rough with me. She refused to stop for even a second and just told me to hang in there, continuing to fill me while I was passing out. Since then, Ive gone to a facial plastic surgeon to try to explain whats happened to my face and long story short...she really messed you up. Please find someone else. There are so many good doctors who do this in this town. This woman is not one of them.

I went for a couple of sessions of Cool sculpting knowing to expect 25% reduction of fat tissue. I think the interior of the office is great. I love the clean lines of the sofas and bookshelves, always a vase of fresh flowers. I didnt mind to wait for hours for a service I scheduled in advance and paid $500. The look of the Cool sculpting- fat removing machine and a procedure impressed me and raised my expectations . A professionally looking nurse, with effort pulled my skin into a tea cap device that was cold like cosmos. I was glad that the machine held my flawed body part with a force of industrial vacuum. My fat was kept there for an hour while I was tried to distance from slight pain (honestly, not for a long) by listening to a music of my choice. I couldnt think. She asked me if I want blinds on or off. I also got an offer of coffee even I couldnt move to get up to reach for a cap while my leg being held by the machine. In the following months, I even didnt get upset that there is no decrease in fat in the treated areas. The money I spent on this was not a complete waste. No, I was pampered, satisfied my psychological needs at the moment, and got rid of illusions in shortcuts. I blame nobody, but Coolsculting people who probably fixed their trial results. After all the nurse was honest with me. She told, there is no procedure like liposuction, she was right. In 10 months I compared the my treated and untreated thigh. The treated side is larger. May be all that stretching of the skin was a factor.

She understands Asian faces...I had a frustrating experience with a top derm in the NY area who was clearly learning on the job. Dr. Fitzgerald just has much better experience with more ethnicities, and makes you look younger and less done than what I have seen in LA and NY. She is too humble to admit she is the derm to a lot of personalities in Hollywood, and works with them privately. I would literally fly cross country to see her. She visits NY and other places to train derms, but works in LA, which is a bummer. Ill admit she is a lot better than her staff. Im also not a fan of strong online promotion from derms. Thats my two cents.

The front office is the most lazy, unresponsive and unprofessional people. They NEVER answer the phones. My wife and I have left several messages that get retuned 2 or 3 days later and they always blame their phone service being the problem. The doctors probably don’t know how many lazy, carefree and ignorant staff they pay for NO reason only to lose patients and business.

Had a rather visit for an expensive consultation that lead to purchasing Latisse. Got all the way home (DTLA) and found that I was sold an empty box of Latisse. Need I remind you that this office is closed on Saturdays and I had to leave a few hours early from work just to make the appointment. I am not happy and I really hope that they compensate me for the major inconvenience. Extremely disappointed that I have to wait until Monday.

If there were zero stars - that is what I would give. I came to see Dr. Fitzgerald because she is known in the industry as an expert on fillers and since this was my first experience - Of course, I wanted to see somebody who knew what they were doing.When I arrived at the office - I waited over an hour to be seen by Dr. Fitzgerald.When I finally saw her - she came across as very distracted and would leave the room for up to 20 minutes to visit with other patients she was working with at the same time.I should have left at this point as this treatment of the client is so unprofessional and rude, not to mention I had already waited an hour to see her.Once in treatment room, Dr. Fitzgerald told me what she wanted to do and I took her advice because of her expertise. She began procedure and injected the filler improperly on one side of my face and it went into my lip. Then she gave me a mirror to look at my face, not knowing what she did and left the room for another 20 minutes or so to work with another patient. At this point, I was starting to become very nervous because I was left alone and had no idea what to expect and I was terrified about filler being injected into wrong place. When she finally returned - I told her filler was in wrong place and she said oh my - you are right. She then proceeded to move the filler manually with her fingers out of my lip and then she had to ultimately dissolve the filler. After she did this, I was swollen, bruised, very upset, scared and so worried that my face was going to be lopsided. She originally wanted that side of my face (where filler went into my lip) to have a fuller apprearace to balance with the other side of my face that would have less filler and was already naturally fuller. As a result of having to desolve filler - the side of my face that was suposed to have more fullness had less than the other side that originally would have had less if procedure had gone properly. She said she would not charge me for treatment and asked me to come in the next day. I went home crying because my face was extremely swollen and I had no Idea what to expect or what I was going to look like.Fortunately, most of the the swelling went down and my face was only slightly aysemetric the next day. When I came in the next day as requested by Dr. Fitzgerald, I was made to wait over an hour again. This was unbelievable to me that they make clients wait like this on a repeated basis. I understand 15 to 20 minutes, but an hour - come on! When she finally saw me, she asked to charge me since my face had calmed down and I looked relatively normal in her estimation. I was surprised after what happened the pervious day that she would ask to charge me, but I paid reluctantly. The thing I was most surprised about - is that I received no follow up call to see if I was ok or to see how things were healing up. This is probably the most upsetting thing after such a traumatic experience. I understand mistakes happen, but you should have a professional enough practice to check in on your patient - especially after a procedure that did not go properly. She has a lot of staff in her office so a follow up call would not have been difficult and should have been arranged by her or one of her staff members. A few days later I called and requested a full refund as the procedure was not done properly and my face had slight aysymetry because of treatment. Hello? - I wanted to look better after my treatment - not uneven and bruised for longer than I should have been.They refunded my visit.Overall, this was a terrible experience and I would not recommend this office for services. Not just because a mistakes happened, but because Dr. Fitzgerald and her staff dont seem to really care about the experience of the patient - even after a treatment gone wrong, but they are happy to charge you way more than other offices because of their perceived expertise. I would never have posted this review if I thought Dr. Fitzgerald actually cared about the pre and post experience of her client.

I was told to come 15 mins early to fill out paperwork, which I did. After filling out paperwork I was left in the waiting room for 1 HOUR!!!! So I sat around waiting for someone to see me for 1hr & 15 mins. Very Unprofessional! If I am polite and come early to fill out paperwork I expect to be seen at my scheduled appointment time. I know doctors get busy and overbook to make a profit but this was ridiculous. By the time I had my appointment the Dr. only spent 5 mins with me. When I went to fill the prescription it was over $1500 (with my insurance) for a fancy medication that they must be pushing and to get kickbacks on. I would NOT recommend them to anyone especially if you have a skin disease as it seems they are focused solely on cosmetic dermatology. *since when does cold freezing your fat have anything to do with dermatology*

She is the VERY best and cant recommend her enough! Run, dont walk to her!
