Very friendly and helpful. During a stressful situation like having your car in impound Viertels makes sure to provide you with all the information needed to get your car back in your possession and on the road again as soon as possible. The employees are kind and sympathetic to your situation and have no problem going the extra mile to make sure you get all your questions answered.

Although my car was impounded because of unpaid parking tickets my experience with Viertels Towing was positive. I understood that for one its my fault for allowing these tickets to become outstanding. Secondly they are not the ones who decide what vehicles to tow. So I couldnt be mad at them. Anywho, when I went to inquire about my towed vehicle they where understanding. They understood my financial need, they where able to work with me. The staff where great, they answered all my questions and had no issues releasing my vehicle with the proper documentation. In all Im mad at the city for their outrageous fees.

I dont know where to begin. My vehicle was told to be a facility an hour after I discovered it was gone. I continued recalled for over 2 weeks and was told that my vehicle was not there. 3 weeks later I received notice of lean sale regarding my vehicle. The notice indicated that my vehicle Ive been checked in 10 hours after it was told originally. In addition, the wrong license plate. These people are CROOKS. The business license should be revoked and they should be jailed. If I stand ready to prove my allegations and open court.

My manager towed my truck out of my parking space out of spite but the worst part is not only did we have to wait outside of the tow yard for 2 hours but as soon as i walked up to my truck i saw the dent on my driver side front bumper. The employee was smiling as if it were a joke and kept saying talk to the manager. This is after i paid $367.00. As recent as 5 days ago for insurance purposes i had to take photos of my truck from all angels and no dent was there. Im very angry and Im in the process of filing several small claims lawsuits. Not a good experience at all. Shame on them.

Everything was fine at this tow lot with the exception of one bad apple. I was honestly scared of the guy, A guy who made me wait in the sun for 15 minutes before he would open the gate, who harassed me and threatened me and told me in the most absurd twist of logic that he could have me put in jail. So, weird power tripping. I am not going to name him because I am afraid of retaliation. I will say that when I told management, they did not seem surprised, and immediately switched the guy out and replaced him with another guy named Rolando who was really nice and a sweet guy, and worked everything worked out fine. So, beware. There is a Latino male in his 50s or early 60s working this lot who was clearly a loose cannon. I would not be surprised if he hurts somebody in the future.

Slime. I don’t even mind the release fee, but the $43 storage fee even if your car is on the lot for just fifteen minutes like mine was is pure slime. As if land prices are so high in this part of town next to the freeway that they need to charge the overnight parking rate of downtown hotels.

What can i say? NO ones happy to be here. Office is NOT OPEN 24/7, despite when u got towed. Sorry! BEST ADVICE:. CALL THEM + ask what YOU must bring to get towed vehicle released!! Do not rely on website info. CALL. Then come prepared. Allow time to probably go get more or different paperwork after you get there. No crying, whining, cursing or begging God to help you. He wont + they wont either. Again, sorry. Most importantly, and I cant stress this enough, DO NOT threaten them in any way including lawsuits, reviews or complaints. Do all that later on your own time. DONT do it here or youll be sorry. Want your vehicle? Then SHUT UP. Take a deep breath. Wear a fake smile. Open your wallet. Stay calm even if you think your head will explode. Remember, thats just life. Wise friend once told me L.A. is a city of hard lessons. Learn them once.

They dont worry about any of your troubles if your car is impounded. You may go to viertels to pay the bill but then youll have to get a ride across town to get your car from some other lot. Im wondering how does a tow company get a good review? I always called AAA when my car is on the side of the road, and anybody that comes to bail me out gets my blessing. Other than that, they all suck

Towing people during a pandemic when they are out of work and the city has eased parking restrictions is unethical and illegal. This is what this company is doing.

I forgot I needed to move my car by 7AM, showed up when the tow truck driver had my car up and ready to go. He said hed only leave it if I paid first, and claimed that it would be $248., which would be $50. less than if he went ahead and towed it, but then he called the office to run my card and they couldnt get it to work, though I had just been paid the day before and had plenty to cover it,. He said theyd try again, and they lied and did not (the bank can tell how many attempts were made). I showed the driver my online banking page so hed see there was a problem. He drove off with my car anyway. I called the credit union, they investigated and could see that the fraud barrier had gone up because the Viertels employee had not entered the additional numbers required. The worker at Viertels claimed that she didnt do that because the bank hadnt asked for the number, and the bank claimed that this is never the case. So they caused me to miss a half day of work and refused to take responsibility. If you have a choice, I wouldnt use this business.

Prompt, Professional, and Polite.Nobody likes getting towed...However, after my truck was towed I noticed minor scratch marks on the door jams where the driver used a pry tool to access my interior to disengage the e-brake. If they towed with the brake engaged, it would cause significant damage. The next morning I called the manager, George, who was very helpful, to review their footage and the pictures of the damages. The following morning I was offered a either a cash settlement, local autobody appraisal, or to utilize my auto insurance. I decided upon the cash settlement as I am mechanically inclined and will repair myself.

Had my car towed which was my fault however the people working there literally could care less and probably were not even explained at all to what they were doing. They told me to pay the tickets online then come back to get the car. I did that then they told me that I needed to get a release from Ladot... it was 4:45pm on a Friday. Scam artists! They just wanted me to pay extra to keep my car there over the weekend. I’m going to report them to the better business bureau.

Not Viertels fault. Viertels doesnt do the spotting or initiate the tow, the city does, and if Viertels werent doing the towing, some other company would - and they might be more inconveniently located or treat your car with less respect, so too many of these reviews are directing their anger and spite at the wrong people.NOBODY likes finding out they parked in an unmarked no parking tow-away zone, or having to solicit help from a random business in locating their car, or having to impose on said business for emergency restroom needs, or having to take time out of their schedule to hike 2 miles across town in 97 degree heat with a 20-pound daypack so they can pay upwards $400 to recover their own vehicle.BUT one has to keep in mind that Viertels is only doing their job, clearing rush-hour streets of traffic nuisances at the citys behest. The tow was definitely an imposition - and an expensive one at that. But when I walked into their office, the FIRST thing the cashier did was hand me a bottle of water without saying a thing. I later caught my reflection in a mirror and noticed my shirt had wicked-up a huge amount of sweat...They promptly confirmed they had my car, and allowed me to enter the lot and inspect it. The tow was competent, no sign of mechanical or body damage, the only mark was some grease-pencil on the windshield identifying the tow number.I paid their bill (mostly city impound fees) avoiding any additional storage fees, and was back on the road in my own car in minimal time. So, like I said, I wasnt happy about the inconveniences, cost, or circumstances, but I have no complaints about how Viertels treated me or my car. I hope this never happens again, but if it does, I hope the tow and impound is handled as well as this was.

If towed here contact a lawyer. They do not keep all of the Los Angeles Towing Laws!!! They hide under the authority of the Los Angeles Police while vehemently breaking the laws themselves!!!! They did not give me a breakdown of my charges PRIOR to my payment. They made me pay then I could see my ACTUAL charges.

During Sundays LA Cic la Vie, Wilshire Boulevard was blocked off from Fairfax to downtown, and more than 250 cars were towed. My friend got a $93 parking ticket and paid $272 to retrieve her car. It is very sad that Los Angeles has to resort to abusing its citizens in this way in order to create spaces to enjoy the City. We should have biking events in parks, not on major streets. It took me more than 2 hours to ride through my usual 20 minute stretch of Koreatown on Sunday.
