I’d like to start by saying that Mrs. Selma is currently the only person working at this location and she is extremely busy.Ive been coming to Mrs. Selma for 2+ years. She has always been so gracious and prompt with rescheduling if needed. She’s personable l, professional, reliable and a hard worker!Mrs. Selma usually has the doors locked for her safety and while with clients / numerous walk-ins. I feel that if someone does a walk-in, they should have to wait and do so politely. Don’t write a bad review based on your walk-in, just go somewhere else. Please keep in mind to be KIND because this hardworking lady is doing her best, as it’s just her working Wednesday - Saturday I believe. She also has a family, another location, children, church, etc. She wants to please everyone and get everyone in, but she is extremely busy right now. Wax was way too hot. She didn’t allow the wax to cool before applying on a spot on my face and I ended getting burned really bad because of it.

At one time there was a young lady there who did an excellent job tinting and threading my eyebrows. The last few times have been disappointing and painful as the older lady who took over my visits does the threading slowly and it really hurts. I’ll never go back after yesterday because she splashed dye all over my new shirt and kimono and they are ruined. Not only that, but the tint didn’t stay on my eyebrows, and my eyebrows are crooked now with one side high and the other side low on the outside corners. It was a waste of money and the time I spent there plus now the cost to replace my clothing. When I called today, the lady offered to take my clothes to the dry cleaners, but of course you can’t remove hair dye from clothing—especially a white shirt and the splashes on the white part of my kimono. I’ll never go back there although I’ve been a client for several years. I want to emphasize that the lady was very nice when I called today, but I’ve lost confidence in the place, and there was a no offer to replace my clothes. She did try yesterday to clean one of the 7 spots off my clothes, but now there’s just a huge black-purple stain which will not come out along with the 6 other permanent dye stains. I also had blotches of dye on my arms I had to clean when I got home. What should have been a pleasant experience with well groomed eyebrows and my clothing the same as it was when I entered the salon, I spent $25 for nothing and am out $50 for my ruined clothing.

I have been going to Unique Threading for my Brazilian wax for several months now. They are very professional and willing to work around my schedule. I love how friendly and kind the staff is. They have also handled the COVID precautions exceptionally well. They use an app for checking in, rescheduling and communication. They have contactless payment and check for temperatures before entry. I feel very safe using their services.

Please, do not let Salma touch your eyebrows! She completely ruined mine. I decided to try her after receiving another service and she bragged about how good she is and EYE believed her. Biggest mistake, ever. I literally cried because they were so bad and I have been going to the same woman who always did a good job. So much for trying something new, smh.

They are nice, welcoming and professional. They do a good job threading my eyebrows which is hard to do because one eyebrow is naturally much higher than the other. I like their safety precautions during the pandemic. That is what made me give them a try. I will return. I would recommend them.

I got eyelash extensions here for the first time, and the prices were very good and the extensions looked pretty good as well. I decided that I didnt like the way they felt the next day and tried to start taking them off using hot water and oil... they will NOT come off. I sat for about an hour alternating between hot water and oil to dissolve the lash glue and not a single lash came off. So if you want some lash extensions that will last through just about anything then this would be a great place to go, however if youre like me and you arent sure you would like them for more than a day then I would not suggest it.

When I started going my eyebrows were different shapes and they fixed them both exactly how I wanted. They take their time and make sure you leave happy! I have had the best experiences here for sugaring! I have come in for the sugaring Brazilian twice now and I will never go back to razors or waxing. The process was thoroughly explained to me beforehand and I was reassured during the entire process so that made me more relaxed. I felt welcomed and have been treated so well each visit. I am happy to report that I was free of razor bumps and ingrowns for the first time since I started grooming. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin or anyone who wants an easier process to get ride of all their unwanted hair. I will continue to come here to keep this up!

I have been to this business many many times over the years, and previously was always pleased with the service.May 3, I went in for a threading and armpit wax. There was a new employee working, one I had not seen before. She did my threading and it was very very painful and took longer than normal. Usually its just a little pressure and done very quickly, but this actually had me in tears.When she took me back to be waxed, she kept applying wax to old wax and ripping it off, vocally frustrated by my hair growth pattern. She did this to the point I started to actually bleed. I had to ask her to stop, because she was determined to get all the hair.I asked her at the beginning twice if it was long enough to be waxed and she said yes. However after causing me injury, she admitted I probably should have waited another few days. She then tried to wax my other armpit, and I completely refused. She then said I needed to come back five days later and she would wax me againWithin 24 hours my right armpit was inflamed, red, and incredibly painful. I was forced to wear tight long sleeves to keep the skin from rubbing. I dont know if she simply needs more experience or what, but it was very unpleasant. I messaged the company twice (and previously they have been extremely prompt with replies for reservations or questions) with pictures and got no response. I have no choice but to leave a negative review at this point.

After I had a burn from wax on my upper lip, they contacted me immediately and had me come back in to treat the burn and i really appreciate that.

Just moved to Little Rock and it has taken me a year to find this place. it’s the best waxing I have ever had. The environment is awesome and so is Selma. It is very clean and beautiful shop.

Only come here for threading. When you come for waxing, even if you have an appointment, they rush and dont do a thorough job. They only ever have 2 girls to do all their services, which you can tell puts pressure on the girls to work fast. They dont baby powder your legs as they should when waxing either. However, like I said, the threading is great; waxing service is BAD.

I went here for the first time for a sugar wax. The lady was rough and she left so much hair. She did a half job and I felt like she was rushing. I’ll never go here again. I’ve been getting waxed for a while and it has never been this much hair left. They weren’t even busy.

I have been going here for sugaring and threading since I moved to Little Rock a few months ago. I’ve been several times, and my experience has always been great! I previously waxed, but was introduced to sugaring here and I will never go back to waxing! It is so much less painful and I am amazed how much it is thinning out my hair! Salma is so fast too! Also, I have been several different places over the years to get threading done, but it is faster and less painful here than anyplace I’ve been before. I’ll keep going back for sure!

Excellent staff, facility, and environment. I’ve had several different employees wax me and they have all been wonderful. They’re all very professional and try to make the experience less painful. Ill start by saying the staff is very friendly, and professional. I was in and out in about 15 minutes...I went in for a brazilian wax. When I got home, I noticed there was some patches of hair that was missed and I could feel some stubble. It definitely was not completely smooth as previous waxes I received from a different salon on the first day. Im pretty sure this wax wont last 4 weeks. Im not saying dont go here, Im just saying Im not sure if I will go back.

The couple times I have went there were new employees each time and most are not even licensed come to find out. They have no customer service skills, wax was left on my skin, they waxed the same area repeatedly, and all of the hair was not removed. I do not recommend this place to anyone and I will never go back.

I did a research on the best wax places for Brazilian wax and I found this place. I went there and had my first Brazilian wax done and it was amazing. The staff were very friendly and the wax was done very fast. They took great care of me and I would definitely recommend coming here for a Brazilian wax, especially if it is your first time.

I’m super upset! I’ve been working on growing out my eyebrows and went in to have them very minimally shaped up and the women removes over half of the hair on my brows!! I told her I only want a small amount taken off, just the borders cleaned up and she totally wacked off my beautiful brows! What is so hard about being conservative especially when a client expresses concern about having too much taken off?!? NEVER GOING BACK!

I was a regular customer until I got charged an extra $30 for getting the very small area outside of my Brazilian line waxed (I have PCOS so hair doesn’t grow like most womeb)In addition to that, I’m disappointed in the fact that my skin has permanent markings from the sugaring. I wasn’t really too upset, but what took the cake today was when the owner removed one of my wax stamps (when you a certain number of stamps you get a reward) after the new girl made a mistake some weeks ago. Good customer service says to just honor it. I always spent at least $100 here but not anymore.

I have gone to them for years for threading my eyebrows and lips. This was my first time getting a full body wax and brazillian sugar treatment. The salon was clean, but the owner was numb to the fact that I was uncomfortable in the postures that I was in. She kept coming unannounced into the room while my undercarriage was exposed to the world. I do understand that she was making sure that the job was done well, but would reccomend that clients that are new to the experience voice whether or not they want additional people coming in during their session. I would still reccomend this establishment. I just hope my contribution will empower others who want/need to get a Brazilian body wax to be adamant about how services are rendered to them. I will probably return for another treatment in a month or so.

I was just here the other day and Selma did my eyebrows and she messed my shape up. So now i have two different shaped eyebrows and paper thin now. She didn’t even care she messed them up, just kept saying that’s how my eyebrows were, and she should of took a before picture. Instead of admitting her mistake and giving me my money back. Then they’re always begging customers to pay in cash. More than likely so they don’t have to claim it to be taxed. I will not return to this place.

My eyebrows are naturally thick and two different shapes but they took their time and made sure my brows came out perfect!!!

I have been going to this location for two years and had a great experience until recently. A little over a week ago, I went in to the salon to have my normal threading and tint for my brows. Looked great. But, then, when I washed my hair the next day, I noticed the lady had gotten a blob of dark dye right smack in the front of my blonde hair, right by my face. It sat on my hair for 12 hours.I asked my hair stylist, who knows how to fix hair mind you, what to do. I happened to have an appointment with her already scheduled for around 36 hours after the issue. She worked on it, but it only faded a little. This was a Saturday morning, so it had been a little over 24 hours since the dye got in my hair.At this point I called the salon to request a refund. If it had come out of my hair, I would not have requested one. The man who answered basically kept telling me it was my fault. He asked, Well, did she (eyebrow lady) ask if everything looked ok before you left? Uh, yeah, but HELLO I didnt think to look in my hair!!! Then he said, If you had just come to us, we have things that could get it out. Im sorry, but the hair on my head is bleached and toned, I dont let people put chemicals on it unless they have gone to school for that. I told him that but much nicer. FINALLY he said he would forward my request to the appropriate person and they would call me back in a day or two.They never called. I just called back 10 days later and got the same guy on the phone. He gave me the same run around as last time, but said I did forward this to the appropriate person. No Im sorry from him, no I understand. Just blaming me. I told him it was terrible service and that I would not be coming back and would be sure to share my review far and wide (which he called threatening...uh, ok).Maybe hes the main problem and everyone else is ok. Maybe he didnt actually forward my message. I really dont know. But what I do know is that my hair is going to take forever to be back to normal, and I have received awful service. I dont live close and Im not hauling my toddler out there after work to find the appropriate person. Ill just go to the competitors threading place right next door to my house.So, be warned...IF you have an issue (and you might, you know, accidents happen and I get that)--they very likely will not try to make it right and they might blame you for the issue.

Service is always fast and little to no wait times. I come to the salon to get my eyebrows threaded and Im never dissatisfied. Unique is the only place Ill go.
