Jonah came by and looked over my attic and did not find evidence of any critters but thought it might be flying squirrels. When I asked how much I owed, he said there was no charge. I own a business and I do this for customers when I dont find anything and I thought I was about the only one left who would do that! I am glad to see that there are other owners who understand the value of doing that for others. Money isnt everything and I promise I will use and recommend The Animal Guy from here forward! Went with the Animal Guy because of all the 5 star reviews, thought surely this must be a good business, right? Noah gave us an estimate of $2100 for 1 raccoon removal, minor clean up, minor repairs, and some repellent. My insurance adjuster came out to look at the damage and said I definitely needed to call a roofer for a second estimate, because he could only find a hundred dollars worth of repairs. We did, and the roofers agreed with the adjuster. No one could figure out why he was wanting $2100. Noah ended up charging us $450 for the removal only, zero clean up. So $500 for the repairs from the roofer + $450 for the raccoon from Noah. I don’t know where the extra $1150 (he did mention including a buffer in the estimate just for emergencies, but that’s a gigantic buffer) was coming from but I think he was just trying to take advantage of us since he knew the stimulus money and tax refunds were dropping. I would definitely never recommend this guy and will never do business with him again. Scammers are everywhere.

We were afraid we had bats in our chimney. Called The Animal Guy and got a very quick response and scheduled an inspection. I sent some pictures from my phone and he was able to diagnose the intruder. Chimney Swifts, so we were able to cancel the inspection since the birds will fly away as soon as the babies are flight worthy. Great relief and no chargeThanks

He came out to assess the situation the same day I called. It was rats!! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Took the time to thoroughly inspect all areas before making recommendations. Terrified from hearing we had a snake in the attic (those A/C guys wont be back), I called The Animal Guy. He quickly put me at ease and spent a good 20 minutes on the phone with me explaining why and how a snake enters the attic and what to do about it. He could say, with his experience, that it was most likely, almost positively, a rat snake. I knew it would be near impossible for someone to come out and find that snake in our attic, but at that moment, I would have paid a small fortune for a guaranteed removal. Rat had made a winter home in my attic and then died! The smell was what notified me - sooo gross. Benton retrieved and disposed of it, made repairs and closed up any chance of future access. It was a process and not cheap, but I believe the problem is solved. I sure wasnt gonna crawl around in the insulation looking for a dead rat! So was it worth it? You bet it was.

We had an animal move into our attic recently, as evidenced by scratching noises at all hours. This also happened last summer, so in addition to wanting the animal gone, we wanted to make sure it wouldnt happen again. We called these guys for help. They came and inspected our attic inside and out. They found the point of entry, and set up an exit-only portal which remained until theyd verified the offending creature (or creatures) was gone.
