Cotner Barber Shop is like stepping back in time a half century. The barber says hes been cutting hair in Bethany community for 55 years. When I was there today 5 white-haired men were cutting or waiting to be cut (including me) And the all-male conversations were just like what Ive heard for decades. True to form, the owner requires cash or check... no plastic. Ive very pleased with all aspects of Cotner Barber Shop, including the haircut.

My fiancé went here 3 times. The first was awesome, the second he used the wrong guard which we didn’t fret over at the time...everyone is allowed to make a mistake but the third time he was supposed to cut his beard to half the length and he cut it way too short. We love his old school approach, no appointments, cash only, super affordable and very friendly. But after the last 2 times we just decided it was best to go elsewhere.

Ron Perkins is without a doubt the best barber in town. While its good to finally see young barbers coming into the fold, they could all benefit mentoring under Ron. Ron could help them hone their skills and bring them up to his level and also teach them business ethics. It will be a sad day when Ron retires because no one can fill his shoes.

Just wanted to say Thank You to Ron for giving my 7 year old a great experience when it comes to having his hair cut. My son has ADHD and is Autistic to some extent. I appreciate you not using the clippers has Damien requested. You did a wonderful job!

I have enjoyed going to Ron (middle chair) since I was a kid. Great guy. I have always enjoyed our talks about cars and about his old Army National Guard days.

Ron and Larry were cutting my hair during High school while Regan was in the Whitehouse. I continued getting cuts from Ron until I moved out of state about a decade ago. Its done right when Rons cutting and I miss our chats.

Old school barber shop. No appointments, come in and wait your turn. And Ron can shoot the bull about anything. Especially Husker sports.
